NQSError 77006 When configuring agent delivery content to be PDF

I am encountering a problem when configuring an agent in OBIEE to send the delivery content as PDF. Here is the exact error.

Exceeded number of request retries for method GetResponseContent.
I'm sure it has something do with the instanceconfig.xml but I don't have problems with any other delivery content option. I also don't have a problem with any other installs. Has anyone seen this?

When specifying the delivery content format to CSV it is always delivered as tab delimited. Is this a known issue? Is there any work around to have the output be CSV. Running the analysis and exporting manually exports correctly to csv. However it is not working in the agent

    After some research it appears that maybe I can specify the delimiter used by the obiee agent. By default it is set to tab whereas I want to change it to a comma. Any help would appreciated.

    In "Records Management Setup Checklist"
         Checked-in Audit Entries Default Metadata    
         Checked-in Screening Reports Default Metadata    
         Checked-in Reservation Default Metadata
    Am not able to select the category/folder in the default check-in form for the above, and i don't see anything in the drop down also
    When i click on the Browse button of above 3..
    see Retention Schedule & favorite Schedule
    But am not able to select any of those.

    The Oracle webcenter content: Records system will enable the retention schedule but it won't create any default retention category. If you want apply retention to a content then first you have to create the retention category and the disposition rule. Once you create the retention category then it will be listed under Retention Schedule. In your case complete the default configuration without applying retention, once you create retention you can apply that to those contents.
    Browse Content --> Retention Schedules --> Create Retention Category

            I have issues about delivery item text.  I would like to know how configure to delivery item text is required text (if not enter the text then cannot save delivery and show error message).
           In configuration about delivery text in text control. I configure the delivery item text is (text is obligatory) but the delivery item is only show at incompletion log but not requried field.
           In configuration about incompletion control for deliveries. No table and field is about delivery item text. I trial to enter PTEX(item texts) in field: Screen for creating missing data. The result can detect missing delivery item text but cannot specific delivery item text. If I enter other item text then the delivery can be saved. In additional, when I open screen delivery item text and not enter the delivery item text, the delivery can be saved.   These are incorrect. I would like to check the delivery item text is required text.

    We migrated from 10g to 11g BP2.
    We are advised from our admins that we need to create 'Delivery content' in 'My accounts' sections as mentioned in

    3. Setup the delivery option for End User
    But we are not willing to do that. Since we cant ask every mail recipents to go and set it.
    Please suggest any other options to override this activity.

    is the attribute mail set for each user in your security provider (like embedded ldap)? Is an smtp server configured, that can send emails to that address? If both is true, you can modify each users defaultdevice ([catalog]/root/users/[user_id]/_prefs/defaultdevice) to ^A^@^A^@^@^@^E^@^@^@email^P^@^@^@sasystem:pcemail (<< that's a representation of the binary value in the file).

    after the migration of an R/3 Enterprise system with a file-based Content Server (CS without database) we experience significant delays when a document shall be retrieved from the Content Server and displayed.
    The repository, from which documents are retrieved, has the following properties:
    Document Area = ArchiveLink
    Storage Type = HTTP content server
    Obviously the delay is caused by time-outs when R/3 tries to access the content sever.

    I wonder why R/3 first attempts to contact the Content Server via the SAPCMS RFC destination rather than using HTTP (SAPHTTP)? - The connection tests for both RFC connections are successful.
    Is there a way to instruct R/3 to go via the SAPHTTP RFC destination as the first choice and NOT via SAPCMS when documents shall be retrieved and displayed?

    Hi Ravindra,
    thank you for looking into this problem. The Content Server is not based on SAP DB/MaxDB. The repositories are represented as plain directory structures in a file system.
    My issue is that R/3 is not using the SAPHTTP RFC connection as first choice although the repository is flagged as "HTTP Content Server" but uses another RFC destination instead. When this attempt is timed out, R/3 eventually picks the appropriate RFC destination. So it takes a considerable amount of time until a requested document is finally retrieved from the repository in the Content Server.
    I am confused because the system where I experience this behaviour has been built from a system copy of a production system, and the Content Server for this new system has been built from scratch. In the original production system, no timeout is found when users are retrieving documents, and obviously the original R/3 system is using SAPHTTP right away. The original production system and the new system built from a system copy are accessing different Content Servers.
    I am looking for a way to instruct the new R/3 system to immediately use the SAPHTTP connection when talking to the Content Server, and I would be grateful for a hint where I can configure this to get rid of these timeouts.

    In CM SDK it was possible to write custom agents, either timer-based or event-based (or both).
    I don't see anything about writing agents in Content DB though, although there are agents. Will there be any documentation on writing agents in Content DB?

    Content DB allows one to register server-side event handlers that get triggered based on audit event critieria.
    These custom event handlers also have the ability to be activated at specific time intervals.
    The event handlers are lauched by the EventHandlerAgent.
    Terminology:
    Audit Event (or simply “Event”)
    Database record of an operation that has occurred
    Audit History
    A collection of events for operations that occurred
    Two included out-of-the-box; customers can create additional custom Audit Histories
    Audit Specification
    The definition of the events collected in an Audit History, and other parameters

    Custom code that is executed when new events are posted to a custom Audit History, and/or at a specified time interval

  • CCE Web Administration - Active Directory issue when managing agent attributes

    I am experiencing an issue when managing agents (supervisors specifically) in CCE Web Admin.  When attempting to add / remove / modify an Attribute for a supervisor agent we are getting an error that the supervisor must have a valid active directory account.  (Screenshot attached)  The agents that this is affecting are correctly configured in ICM as a supervisor and ICM was able to successfully move their AD account into the 'Config' AD Security Group.  From looking at the logs on the AWS it appears that the Web Admin tool is attempting to lookup their account in AD via UPN by appending their username to the domain name.  
    Log Snippet:  
    exception=com.cisco.ccbu.api.jaxb.error.ApiException: supervisorUserInfo.userName: Could not find user. Check if a domain account exists for [email protected]
    This isn't going to work for some users in our account because we have multiple suffixes in our domain.  (Our domain is a single forest and I'm not aware of a requirement to have a single suffix.)
    I'm curious why it wouldn't use samaccountname which is what I believe ICM Configuration Manager is using.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    Lo and behold, my AD sync started working.
    Though I have added the site to my local intranet sites, I'm not very confident whether this was the actual solution. I've performed several actions configuring my farm before I started troubleshooting this issue again, so it might be another action that
    solved this.
    Alemaitre: can you try the following please:
    See if the SharePoint Web Service site is started in IIS.  If not, start it, see if that works.
    Instead of adding the site to your Trusted Sites, try Local Intranet Sites (click Advanced to add sites besides using auto-discovery)
    Turn the Security Level for the zone all the way down.
    Turn off Compression for your site in IIS, do an iisreset, see if that works.
    I've also had to remove a host header from my MySite portal (running on port 8080 here), unlikely for this to be the cause but it's just one of the things I did this morning :-)
    Should I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

  • Disappearing (missing) delivery content

    Symptom
    User has composed and saved content and now delivery is empty (has no content).
    Cause
    User composes Delivery content on the Campaign Dashboard and Saves the Delivery. The "dirty" version of the Delivery is not committed to the database until the Campaign is saved. However, the Save button is not activated at this point.
    Next, the user goes into the campaign workflow and opens the Delivery activity there, makes a change, such as entering a subject line or changing the Delivery label and (not noticing that the content is missing) saves the Delivery and saves the workflow. The empty delivery is now committed to the database. When the user next opens the delivery on the campaign dashboard, the content is gone.
    Fix
    There is not really a fix except to recreate the content.
    Preventative
    After initially choosing a template and saving the delivery and workflow, only edit the delivery in one place, ideally the Campaign Dashboard.
    You can force the Save button to activate by making a change to the Campaign properties, even if you change and change back. Then Save the Campaign.

    Looks like my AdBlock Plus plug-in is responsible, in Firefox
    at least. Maybe Pithhelmet or some other plug-in in Safari (haven't
    troubleshot that yet). Lesson: disabling
    plug-ins/extensions/add-ons should always be part of your initial
    troubling shooting regimen.

    I have a strange problem. I am sending a request as a part of delivery content. I have specified the type as html. But in an email, I am getting the results in plain black and white with table. I am not getting the actual green bar coloring and blue headers as the results show up in OBI. I am going mad finding out the reason. Could anybody help.

  • COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE when display sales delivery

    Hi All,
    Before describing the issue will give you complete overview about the below requirement
    Material X  ( base UoM - PC) after certain duration becomes unusable & needs to be sold as scrap in alt
    UoM MT (metric ton).
    So we decided to create a dummy material let us say Y and then follow below steps:
    1) Transfer the stock from 'X' to 'Y' through 309
    2) Then create sales order .
    3) Create the delivery and do the PGI
    4) Then do the billing.
    Then we had one more limitation that material 'X' weight (MT) will vary. So we decided
    to activate batch management for dummy material 'Y' and go for batch specific UoM.
    In standard when we add batch specifi UoM in BMA1 transaction , in the reference Unit column
    we were not able to put PC , since PC is a dimensionless unit.
    So we created a new dimensionless UoM, MTP (Metric ton per piece) and added this in BMA1 and
    put reference unit as MT.
    After this I added the configuration 'Define Calculation of Product Quantity from Base Quantity' in BMA3.
    We were able to capture batch specific qty for the dummy material whenever transfer posting is done.
    ISSUE:
    But now the issue is that when we create sales order then delivery & PGI in single step, we are not facing any issue in
    displaying the delivery document in VL03N.
    While when we create delivery first & save and then do PGI and try to display the delivery document it is going
    for dump
    Runtime Errors         COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE
    Exceptn                CX_SY_ZERODIVIDE
    For those deliveries with problem in LIPS table numerator field is updating with zero.
    What could be reason for this issue? Please throw your valuable inputs.

  • Error message when IC Agent interact with e-mail  inbox

    I am getting an error when  the agent opens up an email, then hits the INTERACT button to begin processing the emial. It gives an error i.e, 'Serious errors occured during Interact'.

    I realize you said you checked the relationships of the BP, but does the BP corresponding to the email address of the email have a contact person?  In some configurations, the lack of this relationship can give this error message.

  • Unable to Silent Monitor newly configured agent via SAD

    Unable to silent monitor newly configured agent via SAD (supervisor agent desktop).....attached is a screen shot of the error messages.
    I have verified the following -
    - agent is able to log in successfully...
    - supervisor is able to see the agent via realtime report etc...
    - agents that are being monitored successfully, has the same NIC card and are on the same vlan as the new agent...
    - I am able to see the new agent extension and mac address under VoIP monitoring device in the CDA (cisco desktop administration)...

    There is a utility in the newer releases of UCCX that is included with CAD on the agent PCs that can help narrow down the cause of this problem.  On the agent PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\cisco\desktop\bin and you will see NICQ.exe.  Run this utility while the agent is on a call.  This utility captures packets on the NIC and verifies that the PC is receiving packets from the phone correctly.
    If this tool reports that it cannot find an RTP stream, it's best to focus on the agent PC and their phone configuration.  On some phones, you may need to disable the advertise G722 codec, because this is not supported with CAD monitoring/recording yet.  Also, even though the MAC address shows up correctly in CDA for their extension, it's important to make sure the extension is only used once in CUCM by searching the route plan report.  Otherwise, the VoIP Monitoring service may receive the wrong device's MAC address when trying to filter for the RTP stream.
    Make sure the PostInstall tool on the agent PC has the correct NIC selected to capture traffic on.  This is important when the agent PC has more than one NIC installed.  This utility is also in C:\Program Files\cisco\desktop\bin on the agent PC.
    If the phone seems OK but the problem remains, you can isolate it to a PC by connecting the agent's phone to another PC, like the PC of an agent that can be monitored.  If the non-working agent can be monitored using their own login to CAD and their own phone on the other agent's PC, then it's just a matter of finding differences between the two PCs that can lead to the problem.
