NWDS doesn't display "Window Preferences" Options

Hi Experts,
I used to work in Netweaver Developer Studio (NWDS) without any problem, but now when I open "Window >> Preferences" Options, it doesn't display anything. It shows no options on the left side (white navigation panel) and no options on the right side (gray window), but the buttons on the bottom are displayed ok. It is very strange; I can't remember any configuration I have done that could cause this behavior.
Also, when I hit "File >> New >> Project", it doesnt show any portal options (Portal Application, etc.).
Does anyone have been through this before?

I'm not sure why this would be happening however since its such a simple task I would first I would re-install to you current patch level. Also, perhaps check your plugins against another NWDS installation.

Mail Doesn't Store Display/Window Preferences

I tried resetting Mail to its defaults and deleted all the usual suspects, the Preferences plist, the Application Support directory, and the .savedState folder. The .savedState folder was a symbolic link—I noticed that, but I didn't check to see where it was pointed to.
I restarted Mail and sure enough it reset itself but now it won't save anything about its presentation. Let's say I drag a Mailbox to the shortcut bar—it will stay there until I quit the app. When I restart it it disappears and everything resets again (except the window position—if I drag the window to the left of the screen it will stay there even after being restarted). Same for opening the disclosure triangles next to the top-level items like Inbox, Sent, Drafts… They just close and reset after I restart the app.
I noticed that Mail didn't recreate the .savedState symbolic link. I found another .savedState folder in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Saved State/ (wth is this Containers directory by the way? Does it have Inception-style copies of the system in it?) and made a symbolic link to it inside ~/Library/Saved State/. Still no luck.
I’m really hoping that I can avoid wiping the system as I haven’t done that in years and would like to keep it that way as everything is set up just so.

Weird weird things… This was solved by force-quitting the 'cfprefsd' process running under my user.

Firefox doesn't save any preferences (options) upon closing.

Whenever I close and re-open firefox, any changes made to options are reset. This happens both in ESR 17.0.8 AND in the latest version of FF 23.0.1.
Things I have tried:
Troubleshootnig information > reset firefox
Uninstall / Re-install
Create new profile
delete all profiles, uninstall re-install
check permissions on profile folders
I have been bumbling around with this issue for several hours and I noticed in the profile folder that extensions.log has an error regarding startup file checks that references preferences and am wondering if it is related. I tried a google search and couldn't find anything specific to my issue:

When I deleted the file, opened and closed firefox, I also got these two errors:

Forgot to mention, the first thing I tried was the troubleshooting information > reset firefox option. Didn't work.

ICloud Status option doesn't display under View Options

I've searched many threads and haven't found the answer to my question.

I have signed out, then signed in again to my account.

Why Safari doesn't display Windows Live Hotmail as it should?

Why is it that when you go to www.hotmail.com from Internet Explorer or Firefox it takes you to the new Windows Live Hotmail (clean designed page), but when you go to hotmail using Safari it takes you to the aged website that is still advertising 2GB of space (vs 5GB on the newer site).
Now one trick i do is copy and paste the URL from Firefox (after it loads the main login page from Hotmail, and bookmark it in Safari).
But one issue still remains at large, once inside your hotmail account, with IE and Firefox it displays your left menu in real time (inbox, junk mail), while in Safari it does not. For example, you have 5 new emails in your inbox, once you click on the first one, it takes you to the first one, and the inbox tab on the left no longer displays any other messages.

Are you using the new windows hotmail layout?
If you are, try switching back to the classic version.
Hotmail displays fine for me, and I use Safari for windows :]

Ip link doesn't display the previous option of wlp4s2

^'s the problem. Can't connect to the internet now unless I boot from the USB stick. I've tried the other three options it spit out on me (lo, enp2s0, irda0; wlp4s2 being the fourth one that is visible and active when I boot from the USB stick), none of which worked. I've searched the forums, and the issues (and subsequently solutions) are sure helpful, but they do not seem to pertain to my current situation.

Header Image doesn't display with accessability options on

Don't use background images if you want users to see your website with the "use website colors" option unchecked.
If you disable website colors then all background images are suppressed in addition of using the default colors.
You can also look at NoSquint to select default colors instead of using that setting.
I don't know what NoSquint does with background images, so you have to check that.

Lighting effects filter doesn't display options bar (PS CC)

When I start the lighting effects filter in Photoshop CC (64 bit) it doesn't display the correct options bar so I can't choose options and not even quit the filter:

I had to think about this one. Open the Window menu, and recheck 'Options'.

IMOVIE PREFERENCE OPTION PROBLEM-NO ADANCE OPTION

My newly updated imovie 10 doesn't have a Preference option to choose the advace setting? Any suggestion?

All previously advanced options are already there. no need to add them in preferences like before. When you select a clip and then hit the Adjust option, you'll see the Advanced options appear as icons. You just need to get adjusted to where they are, but they are there.

System Preferences - "Displays" shows no options

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has encountered the following issue since upgrading to Leopard and whether you have pointers on how to fix it?
After upgrading to Leopard a week ago, System Preferences option "Displays" shows no selectable options. It comes up blank. I have installed the latest update to OS X (10.5.1) and this update has not resolved my issue.

I see you've not had any input on the "Displays" issue. I just upgraded my PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz, 2 GB Ram to Leopard 10.5.2. I even reinstalled the OS a couple times, which is a pain, but still didn't get any options. It says "loading displays" if I single click the preference. If I double click it shows a blank gray window. If you have resolved this problem please pass it on.

I think you wanted to say 10.6.8. 10.8.6 does not exist.
The first thing I think is that zoom may be enabled. On Mac OS X 10.6.8, a way to disable it is to hold the Control key and scroll down with the mouse or trackpad until you can see the whole display. Another way would be to disable zoom in System Preferences > Universal Access

I've discovered that those screenshots where you see more than one speaker listed in the menubar icon are actually bluetooth devices, not airplay. When you check the shot of the system preferences pane and see them all listed there too, the Type says Bluetooth. Not sure why bluetooth gets them all listed and apple's own airplay standard does not. Hope a developer writes a mac app to do it!

They usually come PC Formatted for Fat32/MSdos, or NTFS... is there anything on it now?

Mirroring doesn't display in menu bar even with option checked

I have my late 2011 MacBookPro hooked up to an external monitor to extend my workspace at the office. I can go into Displays in the System Preferences and choose to mirror displays. When I check the option to "Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available", no menu bar option shows up. Worked perfectly fine pre-Mavericks.
How can I get the display menu bar options to display on this laptop?

for "Bluetooth.menu" and try double-clicking it.
