Problem solved!!
<br><br>
See this part of the query:
<br><br>
if :P15_GESTOR_PROPIETARI='-3' then<br>
w:= w||' AND (("STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."GES_GES_ID"=:GESTOR ';<br>
w:= w||'OR "STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."GES_GES_ID_ESTA_ASSIGNADA"=:GESTOR)';<br>
w:= w||'OR ("STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."AGR_***_***_ID"=<FONT color=red>:P15_CANVI_DE_CLUB</FONT> ';
w:= w||' AND "STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."PUBLICA"=''S''))';<br>
end if;<br>
<br>
when instead of :P15_CANVI_DE_CLUB I put a value (say ''EE'') it works correctly, finally I created an application item (ASSOCIAT) and when when I change :P15_CANVI_DE_CLUB I set :ASSOCIAT to the same value and the query is based on this application item:
<br><br>
if :P15_GESTOR_PROPIETARI='-3' then<br>
w:= w||' AND (("STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."GES_GES_ID"=:GESTOR ';<br>
w:= w||'OR "STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."GES_GES_ID_ESTA_ASSIGNADA"=:GESTOR)';<br>
w:= w||'OR ("STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."AGR_***_***_ID"=<FONT color=red>:ASSOCIAT </FONT>';<br>
w:= w||' AND "STASVWREPORT_TASQUES"."PUBLICA"=''S''))';<br>
end if;<br>

  • SOS !!! Export from Discoverer to Excel problem

    Hi everyone,
    My reports, exported from Discoverer to Excel look quite different from what Discoverer format is. The date in Excel is shifted, column names are missing and report is broken into several tabs.
    Any idea why it is happening?
    Thanks lot,
    Sergei

    When the users I support export to Excel they like to use the Export To Excel button in the menu. After they do that, they get a window asking if they want to enable or disable macros. I have them click Enable macros to get the same format as they see in Discoverer Plus.
    If you get several tabs instead of one tab(and only one exists), I usually need to resave the workbook becuase it got corrupted (in my case anyway). If you want more control over how the workbook gets exported you can go to File--> Export... and they have some options on how the workbook gets exported.
    I hope this helps.

  • Export entire Dashboard in excel is giving error generating document when table view have subtotals

    Hi all,
    We have dashboard with multiple tabs and are trying to Export entire Dashboard into excel.
    Excel file is generated with all dashboard tabs as sheets but few of those sheets are empty with Error generating document message in first cell.
    After further analysis we concluded that cause is table view with subtotals enabled. Pivot tables with subtotals are generated properly.
    Obvious workaround solution to recreate table views into pivots is not possible due high number of reports.
    We are running Oracle Business Intelligence Product Version 11.1.1.7.150120 (Build 150113.1200 64-bit)
    Any ideas or solutions about this problem would be much appreciated.
    Thank you;
    Klaudio

    We just found culprit
    Rows per page of table view must be max 999999999 which is more than enough for our needs.

  • Export from ALV to Excel - problem with numeric values

    hi folks,
    when exporting from alv to excel and we have negative values (and using an u.s.a. setting where . and , are different to r/3) negetive values are not shown correctly in excel.
    when changing in win nt the regional settings to europe one's (e.g. germany) everything works fine.
    any hints welcome,
    kind regards

    I guess this has something to do with the excel settings. In the control panel you have regional settings.try some options there. It might work.

  • During export from Discover to Excel, Time Format changes to Number Format

    Hi
    I have a seconds column which is of number datatype. But in my report, I am converting the number in *0HH:MI:SS* format. For example, I have *4952534 seconds*. So my report is showing *1375:42:14* which is a Time Format. It looks good when I view the data in Discoverer Viewer or Plus. But when I try to export the data to Excel, the time format gets converted to *4952534 seconds*, which is creating problems. So can you suggest on how can I preserve the formatting during export to excel from discoverer.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Hi,
    Excel will not implement the 0HH:MI:SS data format, it just gets the field as a number. You will have to format the field into text using the calculation from my previous post.

  • Report from SQL Query -Excel format only show the first page

    Hi,
    I have some Reports from SQL Query. In the display options, I choose Excel as default format. The Excel documents only show the first page. If I choose HTML as default format, it shows every rows.
    Please advise on how to have a complete Excel document as HTML format does.
    Thanks a lot.

    I beleive when you export Oracle reports to Excel it is the Data that is transferred along with Column Names.
    You cannot export the variables defined on the report.
    Hence you will not be able to export the Footer to excel. (Still looking into it will let you know if i find anything interesting)

  • Export from APEX to Excel - Which Tool?

    I need to produce some charts on a regular basis. I'm running APEX on our company server, without administration privileges. I can sometimes get administrative tasks accomplished, but it usually takes a lot of trouble and paperwork (or email).
    The charts I currently produce are in Excel and consist of two sets of one page of data plus one pareto chart based on that data. The users need to be able to edit this data and rearrange once the initial run is complete. Once they do this, the charts are printed in color and posted.
    The "old" way that has been in place for a few years is to produce the charts in Access and spit them out to Excel. I simplified this somewhat by producing the 10 or so charts through VBA that runs the queries and creates the spreadsheets, and then does some formatting and formula insertion using Excel automation features.
    So now we've got all of this data in APEX. I can produce a good approximation of the charts using the xmlcharts package, but there is no way for me to export this, and printing from APEX seems hit or miss for trying to get any kind of consistent output. I don't think my chances are good at getting BI Publisher installed. I have a weeks old request out as to whether there is a print server I can use, but no response as of yet.
    So what am I left with? I would like some way to do essentially what I'm doing now, except have APEX do it. I can keep everything the way it is and use xmlcharts to display the charts, but I would like to programmatically export to Excel. Can I use Excel automation from javascript without installing anything that requires system level access? How about using automation from pl/sql, which would be ideal, but I believe it needs COM objects for Oracle installed, which is probably not likely (how do I check to see if this is there already?)?
    Also, the way I do it now I use an excel file for a template and export to ranges in that template. If need be I could write automation code to reconstruct the entire workbook from scratch, I just need the tools to do it.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Off the top of my head, this is a complete hack so I am sure someone will have something better but you can use Excel to import the data from Apex:
    Create an Apex report with no formatting at all.
    Create an Excel file and import the data from your Apex report:
    Data -> import -> New Web query
    Create your charts etc on this report.
    Upload the report through Apex.
    Now, create an Apex page that has the various criteria. When the user presses submit - download the excel file to them and have them open it instead of save.
    Hey Presto - charts that can be printed, saved or whatever.

  • Export from PDF to Excel continually times out and fails.

    I went through the steps to convert a PDF to Excel turning off the OCR feature. Tried this several times today with or without OCR and I keep getting the error message "Adobe ExportPDF could not successfully export your PDF file (file name).pdf. The conversion of your uploaded PDF timed out."
    I don't think I'm doing anything wrong as there are not too many steps to follow.
    If I can't get this to do  what is expected (which is convert a .pdf to an Excel file) then I will have to cancel the subscription. I just did sign up for a paid subscription to Adobe ExportPDF. There are others in my department (45 total) who would benefit from having a .pdf to Excel file converter and I have volunteered to become the "beta tester" for this.
    If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening, I'd sure love to hear them.

    You are not talking about Acrobat, but ExportPDF. Check for the separate forum on that by simply selecting the Adobe Community link near the top of this forum and in the drop down box select ExportPDF.

  • Export from Discoverer to Excel more than 65K rows

    Hi
    I need to export data from discoverer to excel, in some cases it is more than 65K rows, does any body know if the file can be split in multiple files o worksheets in Excel?
    Any help will be appreciate
    Thanks
    Vladimir

    Russ
    The short answer is I didn't know, as in any instance where my end users have wanted to extract large amounts of data they have done it from one sheet, I expected that Discoverer would just create the extra sheets for both but I wanted to know for sure, so I did a test.
    I created a Disco workbook with two worksheets in it, the first one I called Monthly and it had 119,409 rows in it, the second I called Weekly and it had 299,775.
    The first time I did the export I did it by hitting the Excel icon on the toolbar, it therefore only extracted the first worksheet (Monthly), when I opened the ensuing Excel file it had two worksheets in it, one called Monthly, the other called Monthly_1 and as expected, between the two sheets the had exactly the same number of fields as in the original disco sheet.
    I then redid the extract going through the menu and chossing extract entire workbook, Discoverer then re-extracted the sheets. In the Excel file this time I had the same two monthly sheets as before and this time I also had weekly sheets, five of them. So I ended up with an Excel file with seven sheets containing all of the original data.
    Cheers
    Melanie

  • Is there a way to import data from excel -when one of the columns in excel is hyperlink column?

     Is there a way to import data from excel  - so if a column is hyperlink - the whole data will move to the list (text + link of the hyperlink column)?
    keren tsur

    Hi,
    According to your description, you want to export excel which contains a hyperlink column to SharePoint list.
    Refer to the following steps:
    Open the Excel, insert/create the table.
    Now click on any cell of table and go to the ‘Design Tools’.
    Click on the Export and then ‘Export table to SharePoint List’.
    You will see a popup where you need to provide the URL of SharePoint site, list name and description.
    Then click on next, On the next screen you will see columns with data types which are going to create in SharePoint list.
    Now click finish and wait until the operation gets finished. You will see that list gets created in SharePoint site with the records.
    Here are two links, you can use as a reference:
