Object null reference error while creating Web applications, Service applications etc after restoring AD accounts

Hi,
The old Active Directory accounts of my server were removed, those accounts are used by some of the SharePoint sites. A new AD account was created and when I try to replace the old accounts with new I am facing issue. I am also unable to create new web application,
service application from my Central Administration. I also tried by restoring old accounts but still I am facing same issues, I
am getting the error message Object
reference not set to an instance of an object. for any create activities in Central Administration.

reference not set to an instance of an object. i.e., while selecting component(web/service application from drop down) redirecting to error page

I will appreciate your help on this matter.

Error while creating web dynpro project from DTR

Hello,
I am getting following error while creating Web Dynpro project from DTR,
org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaModelException: File /<track name><DC><package>/.classpath is read-only.
Still project gets created but evenif I check out view , it does not allow me to edit it.
Also I have checked in and activated some changes but active copy in DTR is not reflecting those changes.
I tried Add subtree option in DTR perspective for folders in this project. Is it result of that?
Please help me in this regard.

Hi Beena,
.classpath file should not checked in to DTR(uncheck the Read only properties). It is local file it contains class path for local system.
Generally in webdynpro project only src folder should be checked in DTR.

XML Parser Error while creating Web service Client using JAX RPC

Im facing XML Parser Error while creating web service client using JAX RPC. Im using Net Beans IDE for development purpose. I have wrote configuration file for client. Now i want to create Client stub. However i dont know how to do this in Net Beans. So i tried to do it from Command promt using command :
wscompile -gen:client -d build -classpath build config-wsdl.xml
here im getting Error:

Authorization Missing error while creating web dynpro Application

Hi experts,
I am new to web dynpro and trying to learn it by myself. I am getting an authorization error while creating a web dynpro application. I am not getting any errors while activating Views or Windows. But when I created a web dynpro application and tried to save it, it thew me a warning saying that " You are not authorized to use function Netzwerkadministration " . Still I could be able to create the application, but not able to run it.
What settings should be done to have this authorizations ?
Any suggestion would be helpful.

Get your BASIS person to give you authorization to Tcode SICF and also authorization to create and activate services in Tcode SICF.
You need authorization to object S_ICF_ADM apart from authorization to tcode SICF

Error while creating web service reference

Hi,
I have very limited knowledge of web services. we have a BPEL implementation and I have been handed location to 3 wsdl files for which I am trying to create a web service reference(under shared component->logic) in apex(3.1.1). I am successfully able to create for 1 wsdl but for other two i get the below error.
"1 error has occurred
The WSDL document contains multiple SOAP bindings. Application Express only supports WSDL's with one SOAP binding. Click Create Web Service Reference Manually to continue creating a reference for this service."
looking at the working and not working wsdls, i see the following difference. i collapsed all the xml tags in the wsdl file and found that the one that is not working and giving above error has the below two tags twice with data in it.

..still reading it. though the post is dated back in 2008, I wonder why this functionality wasn't added to Apex.

Error While create web application

When I try to create new web application on my server it return error as the Virtual directory already in use. For example if I create the web application in 9090 port means it shown the error the virtual directory 9090 was already used by other application
. but I am sure there are no site in the directory. I am try with 3 or 4 different port same problem. I have try to create web application with host header and without host header also same problem was occur.

Hi Ravin,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you create a new web application.
Please log on the server with administrator account.
And please check the followings:
Ensure you have a proper dns name / entry in the hosts file of your server for the new url you are wanting to create.
Ensure you have typed in the ‘host header’ typed in when creating the new web application.
If this doesnt work, open IIS Manager – Start>run> inetmgr> and verify the home directory – it could be located on a different drive.

Error while Creating a basic portal application using JDeveloper

I am trying to build a portal application using the following tutorial on JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 on Windows XP.

The below message comes when you don't specify any default file for your webcenter portal application and this should not be any problem.
Target Portal.jpr is not runnable, using default target index.html.
Can you answer to my questions:
1. Did you just created a new wcp application in jdev and ran it with out doing any changes? If you have done what are the changes?
2. How did you ran your application? (right clicking a particular page or right clicking your portal project and selected "run" option?

while doing the configuration application.
when i am trying to create/change configuration an application.
i am getting following error.

What has happened?

I'm trying to create Web Service Proxy. But I'm stuck with a Validation error

I'm using "Create Web Service Proxy" wizard. There are 6 steps in creating proxy through JDev. wizard.
First step itself displaying the above validation error when I click on "Next" button.

It might be that the .net service which you have is not WS-I compliant. Can you first run WS-I Analyzer on the wsdl to see it the test passes.

This is a known WTP problem. See for example http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jst/components/ws/M5/news/jst-ws-m5news.html and especially <a href="https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=99728">Bug 99728</a>.
Hopefully, if you select the configuration as "Server: SAP Server" and "Web service runtime: SAP Netweaver" on the first page of the wizard, this should work.

Error while creating new app service plan for a webapp

Greetings !
I have a new webapp created and I want to move it a separate web app service plan to apply custom domain (Not available on free tier). From the new Portal I try to create new Web App Service plan and get this error.
"Failed to create App Service plan.
Failed to create App Service plan <App Service Plan Name>. There was an error processing your request. Please try again in a few moments."
Even while creation of the web app if I select create new App Service Plan it automatically goes into Free Plan.
Please help.

Hello Parvez Alam,
The issue of not being able to create a new App Service Plan is now fixed. I tried to reproduce this and was able to create the App Service Plan Successfully.
You should now be able to create the App Service Plan from the New portal. Also, the App Service Plan concept is only availaible in the new portal and not the existing portal.

 I have created one KM Global Service from the com.sap.netweaver.kmc.globalservice.zip file. I have downloaded this zip file from <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/nw/netweaver-developers-guide-2004s/NetWeaverDevelopersGuide2004s_Documents/KM_articles_new/examples/index.html">SAP Developer's Guide</a>.
I have created the Global Service project by importing this zip file as Multiple Existing Projects into workspace in NWDS 7.0 SP 9....
I have referenced all the jar files to the project, no errors in the project....
When i try to deploy this project, i am getting the error in the view description as below:
com.sap.portal.plugins.config-archiver: Cannot create config archive (you should have a valid data or meta folder) com.sap.netweaver.kmc.globalservice
Please help me in this regard, its very urgent.

Error while creating Informatica Repository Service

I am installing OBIApps - Have done it previously so I know it is a complex installation.
This time my server is a Linux RH 64bit... Informatica server installed ok. Using the administrator panel, I am now trying to create the repository service.
I am getting error: Database driver event…Error occurred loading library [libclntsh.so.10.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32] Database driver event…Error occurred loading library [libpmora8.so]
I know the infra structure guys installed Oracle client 32bit... Maybe this is the trouble ?
I have LD_LIBRARY_PATH blank... if I point the LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the oracle client bin... it seems that informatica startup has trouble since administrator panel doesn´t start. went back to LD_LIBRARY_PATH blank and startup is ok and administrator is ok... but error in creating repository service persists...
I appreciate any hints.

$relink all
or else go with 64bit
