Object type for Proxy for sending Notifcation Workflow

Hi
Object type for Proxy for sending Notifcation Workflow.
Early reply is highely appriciable.
Thanks,

Could you make your post more cryptic? There were still some things I could understand.
Perhaps you should take a look at the forum guidelines and especially at the part on asking a question. you can find the forum guidelines through the sticky thread at the top of this forum or through the Community Guidelines which you can find on the left side of your screen.

  • Transaction KB16N business-object type and key for GOS

    When attachments (notes, PC documents etc) are made to a manual cost allocation in transaction KB16N using GOS (generic object services):
      what is the business-object type?
      how is the business-object key constructed?
    I suspect that the business-object type is BUS6036.
    I suspect that the business-object key is the concatenation of the controlling area and the document number (using internal values).
    Is that correct?
    The reason for my question is that I have a program to display attached notes (and allow drill-down to attached PC documents) that works for various business objects (billing documents, purchasing documents and some FI documents), but I cannot get it to work for manual cost allocations.

    Hi Michele
    The transaction you are looking for should be SWO1
    Then put the ex "BUS2000116" into the Object/Interface type and ...
    Guess it will help you

  • Need help on defining object-type dependent attributes for documents

    Hi everyone,
    I'm trying to define different attributes for documents (attachments), depending on document type.
    I performed customizing activities as specified in IMG notes (define structure and table for the attributes, attribute model, register attribute model with table and structure, map model to object type, map object type to document type)
    But I didn't find any new BOL in CM GenIL component with my attributes...
    I already have type-independent attributes defined, and I see them in the CMDocument BOL.
    I don't know how to use my attributes, nor in code niether in UI.
    Did I miss something?
    Thanks,
    Yulia

  • Object type for incoming payments object

    Dear All,
    I need to write the transaction notification for incoming payment documents, but I am unable to find out the object type for incoming payments object.
    I have checked the object type 24 (receipts), but it is not for incoming payments. Any idea??
    Thanks in advance..
    Suresh Yerra.

    Hello,
    Generally try this in the transaction notification (this logs every call of transaction notification)
    if not exists (select * from sysobjects where name = 'T_TransactionNotification')
    begin
         create table T_TransactionNotification(
         TransactionDate datetime,
         ObjectType nvarchar(20),
         TransactionType nchar(1),
         NumOfColsInKey int,
         ListOfKeyColsTabDel nvarchar(255),
         ListOfColsValTabDel nvarchar(255) );
    end;
    insert into T_TransactionNotification
    (     TransactionDate,
         ObjectType,
         TransactionType,
         NumOfColsInKey,
         ListOfKeyColsTabDel,
         ListOfColsValTabDel)
    values( getdate(),
              @object_type,
              @transaction_type,
              @num_of_cols_in_key,
              @list_of_key_cols_tab_del,
              @list_of_cols_val_tab_del);
    then issue a  incoming payment  (i have payed a invoice with bank transfer)
    you will see the following
    2010-01-20 14:45:20.907     24     A     1     DocEntry     2010390001
    2010-01-20 14:45:20.903     321     A     1     ReconNum     1838
    2 records will be inserted
    - 1st for payment with object type 24
    - 2nd for reconsiliation of invoice and payment i have payed in this example.

  • Workflow with Object Type LFA1

    Dear Workflow Gurus,
    My business scenario is as follows:
    1. User will create the Vendor Master
    2. Workflow will be triggered to the Manager so that he can check it (Display only)
    Basically, I created a workflow with the following:
    Start Event - BO LFA1 CREATED
    Task - BO LFA1 DISPLAY
    I have tested my workflow at SWDD and SWUE. It is working fine and I get the notification in my SBWP. I can then double click/execute the item in my SBWP Inbox and it will take me to XK03 (Working Perfectly). However, in a real time scenario, when I create a Vendor Master via either FK01, MK01 or XK01, I dont get any notification in my SBWP. Im puzzled as the test at SWDD and SWUE was a success.
    Im wondering whether Im using the correct Object Type and Method for my START EVENT - BO LFA1 CREATED. Please take note that everything is Active, has been binded and I have assigned (Import checkbox) LFA1 in my Workflow Container
    Please advise.

    Hi,
    It looks no event is created from FK01, MK01 or XK01.
    Please activate the workflow event trace and check the event.
    Regards,
    Masa

  • Organizational Object Types

    Is it possible to create customer defined organizational object types in CRM 2007 like you can in ECC or are you limited to object types org unit, position, holder?    I'd like to create an object type to hang cost objects on the org structure to use with an eval path for reporting.  I noticed that there are a number of standard object types delivered beyond org unit, position and holder.  I don't, though, see a config path for creating/copying new customer defined object types.   Being new to CRM, I'm probably just missing something.
    Also, if we replicate our FI/HR (which are the same ...) org structure in CRM, can we choose the object types that we bring over in addition to org unit, position, holder?
    Thanks for any help!
    Bill

    Thanks, Vikash - that's what I feared, but was wondering why they bothered to include all the other standard object types like cost center (k) and the workflow ones if there was no way to use them ...    That's too bad as they're limiting some very powerful functionality if that's the case.
    Krishna - we're actually implementing something new with CRM - for fund raising activities in an academic setting (but it could be applied to other non/not for profit fund raising activities as well).    Basically just trying to leverage some ECC customer defined hierarchy object types we have for mapping cost centers/wbs elements to org units ...
    Thanks to you both for responding!

  • Using Multiple Object Types in a FIM Managed Criteria Distribution Group

    Is it possible to use multiple object types in a criteria based distribution group. So when building your criteria filter, "Select (object type) that match (all/any) of the following condiftions". Currently you can only choose 1 object type and
    I want to be able to choose object type "user" and a custom object type I create for my contacts

    You can create main condition as "any" and later add two sub-conditions - one that object in set "All People" and other sub-condition that object in set "All Contacts" or "All Groups".
    If you found my post helpful, please give it a Helpful vote. If it answered your question, remember to mark it as an Answer.

  • Object Types Attributes (Data Modeler 3.0 EA1.)

    Hi,
    Will the attribute object type support in data modeler be upgraded to the same functionality as column relational table support in 3.0? For relational columns I can attach a domain to a column, I can't attach a domain to an attribute in an object type. Also for a column I can define a 'Units', that is VARCHAR2 (30 BYTE) orVARCHAR2 (30 CHAR). If can't do this with the (Data Modeler 3.0 EA1.) for an object type's attribute. Will this be included?
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Sue,
    Thanks to you and your team for extending this to the object type (structured type) portion of SDDM 3.3 EA1 and 3.3 EA2. The object type portion of SDDM is pretty robust now for modeling and actually generating useable structures in the database (Oracle) now. With 3.3 EA2 at this point it will be much easier to take advantage of the object type features in the database and our applications. I have been waiting since Oracle version 8 for the tools team to provide a modeling tool that mirrors the functionality the server team has provided when it comes object types.
    Thanks for this in SDDM 3.3 EA1 and SDDM 3.3 EA2!

  • Cannot call member function on object type

    On 8.1.6 I cannot call a member function from SQL in the way described in the manual.
    The following example is almost copied from the manual:
    create or replace TYPE foo AS OBJECT (a1 NUMBER,
    MEMBER FUNCTION getbar RETURN NUMBER);
    create or replace type body foo is
    MEMBER FUNCTION getbar RETURN NUMBER is
    begin
    return 45;
    end;
    end;
    CREATE TABLE footab(col foo);
    SELECT col,foo.getbar(col) FROM footab; -- OK
    select col,col.getbar() from footab; -- ERROR
    The second select is the way it should be, but I get an error "invalid column name".
    Using the first select, I get the result. This is strange because this is more or less the 'static member' notation (filling in the implicit self parameter myself).
    Is this a known bug in 8.1.6, maybe fixed in later versions?

    Konstantin,
    Did you use loadjava to load the compiled class into the Oracle Database?
    Regards,
    Geoff
    Hello!
    I need to write a member function for object type with java.
    for example:
    create type test as object(
    id number,
    name varchar2(20),
    member function hallo return number);
    create type body test as
    member function hallo return number
    as language java
    name 'test.hallo() return int;
    create table test of test;
    My java-file is:
    public class test {
    public int hallo() {
    return 5;
    select t.hallo() from test t;
    It's does not run. Why?
    I get always an error back. Wrong types or numbers of parameters!!
    please help me.
    thanks in advance
    Konstantin

  • Ever used the Designer Table API (TAPI) with object type in the DB?

    Hi all,
    We are trying to generate the Oracle Designer table API of a table that has a column defined by an object type. It works without problems if that column always has a value (is instantiated in object term). The problem is when we update a row where the column is null (all attributes of the object are null thus the object is not instantiated).
    The "before update row" trigger of the Table API fails with error "ora-30625-method dispath on NULL SELF argument is disallowed".
    The code that fails is the following:
    cg$ind.TFO_DESCRIPTION :=(:new.TFO_DESCRIPTION IS NULL AND :old.TFO_DESCRIPTION IS NOT NULL )
    OR (:new.TFO_DESCRIPTION IS NOT NULL AND :old.TFO_DESCRIPTION IS NULL)
    OR NOT(:new.TFO_DESCRIPTION = :old.TFO_DESCRIPTION) ;
    In this example, cg$ind.TFO_DESCRIPTION is a boolean and the TFO_DESCRIPTION column is based on an object type.
    Thanks for any feedback or suggestions

    For a solution to this problem: I set down to write a relatively simple and small piece of code that we can use as post compiler or post generator. After we generated one or more TAPIs, we can run this post compiler to remedy the problem the TAPI has with Merge operations. The post compiler will fix the PL/SQL inside the database. It reads the TAPI objects using dbms_metadata, makes the simple change by manipulating the PL/SQL source and then recreates the objects using execute immediate. Using this post compiler, it takes but a few seconds to fix the merge flaw in all TAPIs in your application.

  • Updating Object Type Columns with SQL

    Please note that is a re-post from a different forum. I thought I would try this forum as reading through it, it made more sense to post here. Problem:
    I am trying to update a column inside a Nested Table Type in my Table.
    This is what I got from some documentation I found from Oracle.
    UPDATE TABLE(SELECT PROGRAMS FROM TB_ITEM_MASTER WHERE ITEM_NO_ID =1748) IM
    SET IM.PROGRAM_ID = 1;
    WHERE IM.ITEM_NO_ID = 1748;
    Where PROGRAM_ID is a field from the nested table (ITEMS_IN_PROGRAMS_NT) and ITEM_NO_ID is the Primary Key in my TB_ITEM_MASTER table. When I run this it gives me an error of:
    ORA-22908: REFERENCE TO NULL TABLE VALUE
    I assume this is because PROGRAM_ID is currently NULL, and when it pulls the record back, I am pulling a NULL value. Currently all the values will be NULL in the table, but I would like to create a UPDATE Statement that I will call that will update that value, from NULL to whatever ID.
    Here are my def'n's of all my objects for this problem:
    --Object Type def'n
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE ITEMS_IN_PROGRAMS_TY AS OBJECT(
    PROGRAM_ID NUMBER(38));
    --Object Type def'n for Nested Table
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE ITEMS_IN_PROGRAMS_NT
    AS TABLE OF ITEMS_IN_PROGRAMS_TY;
    --Table def'n
    CREATE TABLE TB_ITEM_MASTER
    (ITEM_NO_ID NUMBER(38) NOT NULL,
    ITEM_NO VARCHAR2(75) NOT NULL,
    NOMENCLATURE VARCHAR2(100) NULL,
    PROGRAMS DMISDBA.ITEMS_IN_PROGRAMS_NT NULL);
    Can someone please help me....I am pulling my hair out on this problem!!! All I want to do is update the column inside a Nested Table. This can not be that hard!!!

    Save your hair...
    SQL> CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE items_in_programs_ty AS OBJECT(
      2  program_id NUMBER(38));

  • Object type in Appraisal Template

    Hi
    In appraisal template we have different object types on selecting the participants
    in general we select For one Participant ex: Manger under object type P PERSON for the same Participant i want to select

    Hi satya,
    I'm afraid this is indeed not possible. You can only do a search using one criteria.

  • IMP-000063 Object Type

    I'm working on importing a database into Oracle 10g, but when I run the import command through the gui, only a very few tables are generated correctly, and the log file is filled with messages like the following:
    IMP-00063: Warning: Skipping table "SYSTEM"."ATHLETIC_COURT_AREA" because object type "SYSTEM"."UG_TEXT_ARRAY" cannot be created or has different identifier
    and:
    IMP-00019: row rejected due to ORACLE error 1
    IMP-00003: ORACLE error 1 encountered
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSTEM.CATEGORY_MSL) violated
    I googled the problem, and read that I may have to drop an object type? Thanks for your help!
    Tyler

    IMP-00063 Warning: Skipping table "string"."string" because object type "string"."string" cannot be created or has different identifier
    Cause: An error occurred creating an object type that is used by the table.
    Action: Examine the import log to determine why the object type could not be created. If the object type already existed, with a different object identifier, then drop the object type and retry the import.

  • Workflow - Create a new buisness object type for an new infotype.

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with creating a new buisness object type, which is related to a
    supertype, for an new infotype.
    I am new to workflow and business object. I don't have much knowledge in these area. I need to resolve this problem ASAP.
    Could someone please provide me a step-by-step guide on how to create a new business object type, which is related to an existing supertype, for an newly created infotype?
    If would be very much appreciated if someone could assist me in resolving this issue.
    Thank You.

    Business objects are maintained in SWO1 creating a subtype is done with the button: Create subtype (F9)
    If you don't have knowledge of workflow or abap objects, it is perhaps better to tell your employer that and find someone who has.
    If your problem is simply only creating a subtype then go with the instructions I already gave you, if however more things need to be done, like extending the subtype with (virtual)attributes, methods, events, delegating the subtype and implementing the methods in newly created tasks and subsequently workflows I really advise to find someone who can do this, or attend a SAP course on this subject.
    Kind regards, Rob Dielemans
