OData Service not able to consume in Excel PowerBI

I created a XSOData Service and published it online. The service is exposing the data while checking it browser. But while consuming this service in Excel PowerBI, it is throwing an error "DataSource.Error: Cannot parse OData response result. Error: A missing or empty content type header was found when trying to read a message. The content type header is required."
But while checking the service we are able to see content header in it as "<content type="application/xml">" . Can anyone help how to solve this issue?

At last i solved this issue. I updated Microsoft.Data.Services" dll to 5.5.0 version and everthing is working fine now.

I have installed trial version of SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP 1^with ESR. I have also install Visual Composer. I want to make some exercises to make my concept clear but I am not able to find any service from the Find option in the VC. I have also tried to consume any service in Webdynpro project and trying to create model from ESR or Service Registry but It does not connect to ESR.

One thing I am not sure about is, when I go to configure initial setup by using configuration wizard. There is one error (file missing on importing XI content) when I am going to execture "Configuration of ESR in CE" task from the task list in the configuration wizard. I think becasue of that I am not able to consume services in VC and webdynpro projects!!!
What do you say???
If also think the same then can I install some how missing xi content to ESR??? I have seen on service market place when I go to ESR - component list.
Or you recommend me to install PI/XI on my server then this missing component should be installed automatically???

Numbers files are not compatible with MS Excel. To share a Numbers file with Excel you need to export you Numbers file in MS Excel format. To do this:
1) Open you Numbers document
2) select the menu item "File > Export..."
3) select "Excel" for the target output
4) click next and select where to save the file.
5) email the file you saved

Not able to consume Web Services that are in Service Registry

Hi Experts,
I am trying to consume the web services that are published into the Service Registry of CE 7.1 Server.
Previously, I was able to consume the web services.But now I found the following error in VC Console, When i try to consume the same web services or even other web services that are there in that server.
"(E) Error in Search: Unknown error has occured in service execution"
Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi Palani,
I guess the first 2 things you may want to test are:
1. Is the Webservice reachable? please try and run the webservice URL in your browser and see if you get the xml file.
2. Proxy settings - please see that the proxy settings on the server are defined properly.

Not able to consume Message

Hi,
I am trying to publish a message with OSb proxy service and the message is getting successfully published in the JMS topic.
We have a subscriber component whihc will subscribe to this JMS topic. The Durable subscriber has been created successfully in the console and seeing the total consumers as 1 in the statistics tab.
The issue we are facing now here is, i am not able to see the message is not getting consumed by the subscriber. We have tried changing the " <property name="UseMessageListener" value="false"/>" to "true" and see the message is being consumed by the subscriber but it is going to pending state. Also we dont see any instance getting triggered.
Please help me with any suggestion?

Yes, you can receive messages in a stateless EJB, although this isn't best practice. I suspect the problem in your case has to do with an incorrectly specified selector (verify the syntax and that it would match a message). It's also possible that you have a bug in the sending application where the sender is transacted or transactional, and is failing to commit the associated transaction after calling send.
If you have a synchronous request/response pattern this may mean that there's no need to leverage JMS at all (just call the remote method directly). Otherwise, if you need to process received messages on a server, then its usually best to use MDBs. Synchronous receives are relatively inefficient and also have the potential to block server threads for long periods of time. In addition, selectors themselves can be inefficient.

Reporting Services not able to connect with sharepoint

We have a Sql server instance where we are not able to install reporting services, so what we have done is we have created one more sql server instance on the same server with reporting services.
When we configured reporting services in sharepoint integrated mode and try to connect that web service url in sharepoint we are getting an error in sharepoint central administartion that not able to connect to the reporting services.
Request you to throw some light on the same.

Not able to view the excel output from eBS

Hi All,
I am not able to open the reports for the first time and this error is keep on coming everyday whenever i try to open any report for the first time.
     Microsoft office Excel cannot access the file 'http:// '. There are several possible reasons:
     The file name or path does not exist.
     The file is being used by another program.
     The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook
But in the second time o/p opens without any issues.
Can you please let me know what will be the cause of the issue.

What browser are you using?

MDM SP4 Web Services Not able to Connect

I am trying to use standard MDM SP4 webservice.
I deployed MDM_WEB_SERVICES_550.sca and also did required setting in visual composer as mentioned in the follwing blog.

But,When I am testing <b>mdmsearch</b> webservice with correct repository,port,mdm server details with other required parametes as mentioned in the blog. I am getting the follwing error.
Problem while connecting to MDM repository "MyRep" on server "myserver" at port "2311". Maybe the Repository-Information has not been set correctly at the requested query!
To confirm the connection parameters,I wrote sample java program using mdm java api and run from the was server and i am able to connect to the same.
Is there other sca files need to be deployed on WAS to work with sp4 standard web services.

I also added read_only user in mdm respective repository.

There are no errors /exceptions. The project is deployed, since it is a JMS adapter with consume operation it should poll the queue and get the message if it is available.

wen i right clik on that cube , its showing page canot displayed, can any one face this issue
or any other utilitywe ahve to assighn filters to the group

If you're on Windows, edit the hosts file from: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc & include the Essbase, Shared services servers

Not able to install Essabse Excel Add in

I've installed and configured the Hyperion 11.1.2.1 on my Server Window 208 Rs 64 bit server. The Essbase Excel add in was not installed. So am trying to install ti manually. But am not able to do that. Am getting an error saying that the path that is given is not correct. Please help me out of this

You say that you are not able to install the add-in and you get an issue in installing the Excel Add-in. Do you get the error mentioned when you try to install it?
Once the Excel add-in is installed you need to register it. Hence Register the Spreadsheet Add-in.
If you are getting error while opening Excel try the following --
1. Close Excel
2. Unregister Spreadsheet Add-in, select Start, then Programs, then Oracle EPM System, then Essbase, then Essbase Client, and then Unregister Spreadsheet Add-in.
3. Register Spreadsheet Add-in, select Start, then Programs, then Oracle EPM System, then Essbase, then Essbase Client, and then Register Spreadsheet Add-in.
4. Launch Excel and then check.

Not able to consume JMS Q by standalone App

We are making use JMS Q to store the request and build another standalone job to consume it. But some time how our standalone app not able to retrieve message from Q and we need to restart the app many times then it will working fine. Do you have any idea of it? Should we update any weblogic patch?

There are no errors /exceptions. The project is deployed, since it is a JMS adapter with consume operation it should poll the queue and get the message if it is available.
This is the *.jca file for adapter.

Not able to login BPC Excel

Experts,
Today I have installed BPC front end Excel and not able to connect with my user ID.
In my BI 7.0 system can see BPC 7.0 componenet and Iused BI 7 login details to access BPC excel with BI 7 IP address.
Could you please suggest me do I need make any other setting before I login into BPC excel.

Could you please let me know which profile is required. I have SAP_ALL profile for my user ID.
When I open BPC excel I entered IP address which is same as BI 7.0 system and than it asked user ID and Password . I used BI 7.0 login details but not able to connect.

Crystal report not able to export in EXCEL file in windows 7

Hi Expert,
I have an Form, in which there is a button print. when I press Print button Crystal report open with data. upto here is fine with any operating system (OS).
When I press Export report in XP it working fine, ShowDialog is show on screen where I have to save this file. but When I run as application on windows 7 I got below as error
