Official Remito Numbers Missing

Dear Sapiants,
While posting delivery document official Remito number (stores in LIKP-XBLNR) is skipped by one number i.e., instead of running number of 12066 it is given 12067 number (Production client). But 12066 is not posted with any document. Similar case happened for one more number it is given 12078 number instead of 12077. Except these 2, no other numbers are skipped during last one year. I have checked the similar postings in QA client but I didn't find any such missing cases, all are coming with continuous series.
Could you please guide me what could be the reason for this and how to find out the missing numbers and solution to this. For your information i checked in above table but said 2 numbers (12066 & 12077) are missing there also.
Please suggest me.

Thanks for your reply.
Argentina Official Remito document number range is maintained from J1AB. This is part of Argentina localization settings. When outbound delivery is done with post goods issue then the official Remito number will be generated along with SAP delivery document number. This Remito Official Document Number will be stored in OBD under Reference field in header --> Administration tab (Table/Field : LIKP-XBLNR)
This number series is missed 2 times in one month. It was not happened since last 9 months duration. I have seen the number range maintained in J1AB still there are around 120 numbers to be used.
Could you please suggest me the reason for this and how to fix-up the problem.

if i_BuKrs eq space or i_BuPla eq space or i_PostDate eq space.
i.e Compnay code or Posting date ro Business Place is Blank.
or
IF NOT i_bukrs IS INITIAL AND vbrk-bukrs <> i_bukrs
MESSAGE e770(8a) RAISING wrong_input_parameter.
i.e Compnay code is blank.
If you have done any changes or Enhancements in the Billing Document creation program , please check if the Program is correct or any values are not being transferred properly.
Please Take help of ABAPEr to resolve the isssue

Numbers missing from second half of printed document

Here is a mystery for you. I have converted my rather large help project to a very large Word document and then PDF. The interesting behavior I am seeing is that about halfway through the document the numbers and bullets have disappeared. We have put the numbers and bullets in the same throughout the project but in the second half of the document they are missing. They are in place in the first half of the document.
The project has been around since RoboHelp X.5 and is now in RoboHelp 8. The projects are intermixed with what release they were created in. The document is 2334 pages long and I lose numbering and bullets after page 1133.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Leon and Peter for your timely answers. The numbering and bullets do work when I break the document into smaller documents (it took three). The difficulty I am now facing is that if I try to combine those documents after generation, the numbers stop working again. The document has a TOC on the front so I wanted to combine them within Word to get the TOC accurate by updating - curses.
The only solution I've come up with so far, which is kind of awkward is:
Have RoboHelp generate the entire document in order to get the TOC
Generate the next two documents wiht just the smaller sections.
Delete the extra two sections from the first document.
PDF all three and combine.
This will break links that are between sections of the document and runs the risk of not the TOC not being accurate.
Can you think of a better way?

Order numbers missing.

Hi All
For a requirement of mine i am pulling data from the standard datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM into a DSO..but the problem is that few of the document numbers are missing and when i check that in R/3 those numbers are found along with the order qty..but these records are not available in the PSA too...and all the loads have run fine...
Actually i am pulling the Invoice data from other standard data source 2LIS_13_VDITM ..this has the ref field of the sale order number and there i am able to view the documnets which was not found in the order DSO
Can some only tell as to wat would be the problem in documents being lost...

Hi,
If you are loading using Sales Order Number ranges there is possibility that u missed any particular Number Range records.
OR
Might be lying in BW ques to load.
oR
Might be filtered by any filter or routine.

Document numbers missing in BI (Delta)

HI,
we are extracting data from data source 0FI_GL_4 ( Daily dalta)
When i reconcile the data from BW to R/3 , observed that on GL account showing wrong values in BW.
Collected all document numbers associated to that perticular GL Account (GL Account updated in 40 Document numbers and 39 documnet numbers came to BW and one was missing as it is there in R/3)
When i check in FB03 there no reverce document for missing one and the time of posting also looks fine.
I got the same issue couple of times.
I tried to find the root cauuse for this but couldnt.
Could you please elobarate why document numbers are missing in BW from R/3.

Note 175047 - Causes for FI document number gaps (RF_BELEG). The note is very comprehensive and has a reference of lot many notes.

Withholding tax certificates numbers missing from Table J_1IEWT_CERTIF_N

Experts,
I have followed all the process of Extended withholding tax and printed certificates in the month of Jan 2011 for the period Oct 2010 to Dec 2010. (actually for FY 2010)
Now I want to repirnt one of these certificates as duplicate certificate and need to gi ve it to my vendor. I have the hard copy of the certificate and the number. But when I go to certificate re print program, it shows me certificate does not exists. I have also checked the tables but few certificate numbers I cannot see in the table.
When I sorted the certificates I get certificates from sr. 1 to Sr.171 and then from Sr 286 to 341, whereas actually I had printed the certificates which are missing in between.
I aslo tried to print the certificates for those where I am geting certificate error, and there are system is allowing me to print the certifricate and not showing any message about certificates already printed. In the report J1INMIS as wel I do not get certificate number.
Kindly advise, what could be reason.

Give the T.Code J1ICREP to reprint the certificate. Give the certificate number and print it. The new print will come automatically as DUPLICATE.

Adding a currency in numbers missing custom format option

I just paid for numbers latest version June 2012. iPad 3' v5.1.1.     Want to format a cell as a currency not in the little list chosen by apple. Forums suggest using the custom format option but I can not see this anywhere? Any ideas how to add a custom format or how to extend the list of currencies to all currencies. If nothing else missing out a countries currency as too unimportant to include is just plain rude!

Contract numbers missing at Table(EKKO)level - Audit finding.

Hello All,
Recently in auditing, auditors found out that contract numbers are missing at Table level. When I checked in EKKO table, there are missing entries, like contract numbers 4400000100 is missing. At the same time numbers preceding and succeeding are available in table. Its internal numbering assigned for contracts. Now we have to justify for this missing numbers
How can it happen? What are the possible reasons for such missing numberings?

this is caused by buffering. SAP reads from the table and updates the last number and stores 10 numbers in its memory, If you create only one contract and switch then SAP off, then SAP will loose those numbers.
You can change the buffers yourself.
If you switch it to 1, then SAP reads the DB table for each contract, which slows the performance a little down and is certainly not a guarantee that you you will never have a gap in numbers.
Such number gaps can as well occur if you have a posting failure.

Contacts numbers missing after IOS 5 update.

Contacts missing after IOS 5 update. I turned off my phone and turned it back on but only my email contacts were there not my numbers. I updated it on my PC.

Ok. So after too much of a fight with the iPhone, here is what i think got back the contacts on my phone.
Step 1: Setting -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> iCloud : Switch off everything.
Step 2: Go back to main setting page.
Step 3: Make sure you see "Inactive" under iCloud.
Step 4: Hit the home button
Step 5: Close iTunes and start it back up.
Step 6: Unplug your iPhone from the computer and plug it back in.
Step 4,5,6 is to make sure you are starting a new session.
Step 7: Sync iTunes.
Step 8: Check your contacts. They should have come back up
Step 9: Setting -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> iCloud : Switch on everything.
Choose the option "merge" when you get it.

Is new Numbers missing features as new Pages is?

I was greatly dismayed at the eviscerating update of Pages. Due to the missing features, new Pages is unusable to me. I haven't yet looked at the new version of Numbers. Is it eviscerated as well? Is it also missing features of the software it was meant to improve on?

G/L Account Numbers missing in the Query Designer

Hi Experts
New G/L Account numbers are been added to some items like Rebates & Discounts. These G/L Account Numbers are been seen in the RSA1 and are not present in the Query Designer. So i want to know the procedure to update these G/L Account numbers in the Query Designer, Can you please help me.
G/L Account Numbers in RSA1 = 718 and in Query Designer it is 661 so please guide me to update the rest of the G/L Account nos in the query designer.

Yes, the problem is with the extractor
It is not been enhanced because i am working on SAP BW 3.1C and its been implemented in 2004 and since then it is not been used properly.
The Datasource is 0EC_PCA_3 (Enterprice Controlling line items).
Yes i maximized to 1000 records per call and searched for the G/L Account E16411 which i cannot find in the cube.
When i checked the results with R/3 i found the totals are doubled and when divided the Key figure Net of Credit and Debit by 2 i got the some results correctly(Sales Revenue, Sales Revenue of Exports and Sales Revenue of Domestic)
I Checked the Service Marketplace and found the note which should be implemented to rectify the error of duplicating the records,
Can you please help me to update the G/L Accounts in the datasource.
My Development System contains more then 2000 G/L accounts in the cube (query designer).

Document numbers missing while posting a batch of GL documents via BDC FB01

Hi all,
While posting a batch of GL documents using a BDC program for FB01, all the documents are posted except for a few document numbers getting skipped while posting. For instance, in posting 100 documents, if 101-200 is the document numbers expected to be generated, we are getting a list of doc. numbers from 101-185 and 187-201 thereby skipping the document number 186. But when we post another set of GL documents, the skipped doc. number 186 is first taken and remaining from doc. number 202. Could any one have comes across this scenario or somebody can help to throw some light for the reason behind this. Thanks.

Numbers missing reference after adding rows

Hi,
I came into a strange situation (which I did not have before).
I have a sheet summary contaning formulas that uses cells from a different sheet. The source sheet contains more than 100 rows containing different numbers which are used in more than 50 formulas in the summary sheet.
When adding rows inbetween the existing data sheet rows, I see that the summary sheet furmulas, in some cases, do not reference to the correct row number (they all should shift to the new row number) any more (out of 50 references only four got currapted).
Any ideas are appriciated (is this a known bug).

First, I want to thank you for asking a question that got me thinking about something I hadn't really considered before.
I am not entirely sure I understand your question or the test you proposed in the second post, but if I am reading it correctly, what you are expecting is the way Numbers is designed to work (and the way I have seen it work) and when I try the test from your second post I get the results I expect.
That is, a cell reference points to a cell, not a location; if you move that cell (for example, by adding a row above it, which moves it down one row) the reference in the formula is updated to reflect the new location, but the result of the calculation doesn't change.
But this got me wondering about how Numbers dealt with references to ranges of cells. For example, the formula =SUM(C3:C6) is equivalent to =SUM(C3, C4, C5, C6), but what happens when you add a row after row 4? Apparently, the second expression remains a sum of the values in four cells, but the values of C5 and C6 are changed to reflect the fact that they have moved to C6 and C7. However, in the first expression, the new cell is added to the range, so that it is now the sum of five values. Actually, if you add a row (or column) to one that passes through a range, in the middle, or on the outside, the formula updates to add the new cell to the range, even if you are adding cells immediately below the bottom row in the range (so none of the cells in the original range actually move).
I'm not sure any of this has much to do with your problem, unless possibly one (or four) of your expressions is referring to a range that happens to be one cell, which would update differently from one referencing a simple cell. As Jerry has said, it's pretty hard to know anything without knowing what expressions your formulas are using.
At any rate, thanks for making me think about something I hadn't explored before.

IPad forms in Numbers missing

The Numbers book I downloaded from iTunes suggests that I can add a form to a spreadsheet, and link it to a table. I should be able to tap the + tab, an have the ability to add a form, but all I get is a new sheet.
Any suggestions?
I am using an iiPad 2.

In this app there is no form structure.
