  • Lookup.OID.Configuration

    Hi,
    I just came across one wierd thing.
    I couldn't find Lookup.OID.Configuration anywhere in OIM. I guess this lookup holds the connector information and is supposed to be a crucial lookup.
    I said this to be wierd as though i don't see this lookup in oim, still i've been able to successfully provision users from oim to oid and perform target recon as well.
    I can see the other lookups for Organization, Provisioning, Recon, PerfLang, Group and Role
    I'm using "OID 9.0.4.5" connector for OIM.
    Can anybody let me know as to why am I not having this in my lookup definition. Is it a version issue ??
    Regards

    Hey Kevin,
    I tried adding a Multi-Valued Attribute for Target Resource Reconciliation. What I've done so far is :
    1. Created a new form for the multivalued attribute , UD_MULTIVAL.
    2. In the Resource object of UD_OID_USR, added a new multi-valued attribute Address and also have set the Property Field.
    3. Thereafter, I've mapped the Form Field with the process data Field under the Recon Field Mappings.
    4. Once done, I've mentioned the attribute name and its property in the lookup AttrName.Recon.Map.OID for the code key ldapMultiValAttr.
    5. Also, I've mapped the Address code key with homepostaladdress field of OID under the same Recon Lookup.
    Now, when I'm running the OID User Recon Schedule Task, I can see that it successfully links the users and I can also see the table name in the resource profile for the user, but sadly, there's no value that is added to it, and it just says *[NONE]*.
    Am I actually missing out something? Can't figure it out ?
    Logs say :
    Parameter Variables passed into tcUtilLDAPOperations:search(S,S,b,S[]): are pSearchBase = dc=ad,dc=company,dc=com, pFilterExpression = (&(objectclass=homepostaladdress)(null=cn=Ajay,cn=Users,dc=ad,dc=company,dc=com)),

    2011-05-19 14:36:42,970 DEBUG [XL_INTG.OID] Parameter Variables passed into tcUtilLDAPOperations:search(S,S,b,S[]): for pAttrNames is null,
    What exactly is pAttrNames which is being fetched out to be null. In the Search Base too, it says null=cn=Ajay.
    How can I resolve this ??

  • OID Configuration Assistant failure on 2000 Server

    Hello,
    Has anyone experienced problems with the OID Configuration Assistant step during iAS10g install on a Windows 2000 Server? The same steps that work fine on a 2kWS fail on this machine.

    So the OIDCA couldn't see that the DB was running?
    Did you install OID on a different server than the
    DB? I am having the "OID could not be started",
    error and can't seem figure it out. No, the DB wasn't running at all.
    There was something else fish about the server configuration. I tried doing another clean install on another machine and it worked fine so this is not a general thing with 2000 server. I am still trying to compare all network settings etc. that might have been different between the two machines.

  • OracleDefaultDomain OID configuration on BIP

    Hi the same thing happened to me but creating a new service was handled by using the export wizard from net manager. You can actually place the entries in your tnsnames.ora and then use the netmanager Export wizard to point to your tnsnames and have the service created by that wizard.
    I figured out that this thing happens when i am remotely connected to the server using putty. But then again this was taken care of when I manually configured my laptop to use the netmanager connecting to my server. You can do this by setting up your LDAP.ora to point your DIRECTORY_SERVERS= to the server you have.

  • BPEL- OID configuration

    Hi,
    I am trying to confighure the OID as identity service for BPEL process manager. I did configured and I am able to login into worklist application using the OID users,but not BPEL console,BPEL admin. When i tried to login BPEL admin using oid admin username throws error : "User does not have enough privileges to access the Admin Console" . I did give all the permission like BPMSystemAdmin for the user. but still same error.
    Could somebody point me where I might be doing wrong?
    I am using ORACLE SOA suite 10.1.3.1 preview version. Thanks.!

    Hi,
    I have followed all steps described in

    When the server has restarted and tired to log into BPELConsole, an error occurs with the information given "No domains accessible to the user logged in."
    I have checked permissions both ServerPermission and DomainPermission are granted.

    I am running an ADF Application which its secure by using the weblogic security provider (OID). With the following code:
    LOGGER.info(idStore.getStoreConfiguration().getProperty(OIDIdentityStoreFactory.ST_SUBSCRIBER_NAME).toString());I get "dc=com". I believe I need to change this to a custom SUBSCRIBER_NAME.
    I can't set up this property in the weblogic console interface so I was wondering if is there a way to set it up?
    Thanks

  • AD/OID Configuration - FLAT DIT

    Can someone tell me how to create a flat DIT structure in OID? What I would like to do is map the AD domain mycompany.com and every single user object found within that tree, to the OID OU "ou=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com"?
    Can someone tell me what the domain mapping rules should look like to make that happen?
    Thanks

    Okay, I now have all of them posting correctly to ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com. I couldn't locate them in OID as I was getting the LDAP Error Code 4 (Size Limit), but when I searched the directory it did find them.
    Now that I have created another OU (ie oidusers), do I need to change the usersearchbase from cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com to ou=oiduser,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com?
    For anyone looking, the domain rule that i used was as follows:
    dc=mycompany,dc=com:ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com:cn=%,ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com
    This rule placed all users from AD in the oidusers OU.

    It is not able to find the class oracle.security.xmlsec.util.Base64.
    I was able to find a related thread on this issue at Oracle Internet Directory Config Error Linux x64 java.lang.NoClassDefFoundE
    but didn't find much helpful.
    The setup details are as follows:
    Weblogic Version: 10.3.5
    RCU Version: 11.1.1.3.3
    IDM version: 11.1.1.2.0 (release version) Upgraded to 11.1.1.5.0 (Patchset version)
    Also Oracle IDM installation has the jar file odst_xmlsec.jar having the Base64 class.
    Please let me know if you see any issues.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
    Please try
    "Error Creating ASComponent Oid1" Error During OID Configuration When Installing OID11g (Doc ID 1427253.1) that should resolve the issue.

  • OIM to OID direct provisioning to a particular OU

    Hello - Can some one suggest if provisioning to a partciluar ou in OID directory is possible from OIM using configuration as oppose to coding?
    let say, my DIT looks like this:
    dc=abc,dc=com
    o=Org-A
    -     ou=unit1A
    -     ou=unit2A
    -     ou=unit10A
    o=Org-B
    -     ou=unit1B
    -     ou=unit2B
    -     ou=unit10B
    I can provision user account to OID fine OTTB i.e. using the default connector configuration and adding them to cn=users container.
    But now if I want to add user to a particular ou in OID then what is required (high level steps would be great).
    Just to clarify, I want to pick the ou during user creation e.g. if I want i should be able to pick ou=unit1A or ou=unit1B.
    Thank you.

    Just wanted to update the question, after testing few fields I can provision user account to either o=Org-A level or if I can create a new ou under the top node dc=abc,dc=com then I can provision the user but I am not sure what config changes are required to add user under the unit1a or unit2a? Any suggestions please.

    Thanks everyone who replied but I guess I have not explained it clearly, The question is how to provision under an ou=Unit1A that is under o=Org-A.
    Here is some information that I have configured that might help to point me to the right direction. I would appreciate any help. hopefully it make sense.
    The process form contain Container DN field. This field is defined as LookupField in the process form.
    The lookup table from which the Container DN gets the value is Lookup.OID.Organization
    I have populated my Lookup.OID.Organization with the Organization units that I have created in OID; from my above example it contains values like
    Code key Decode
    ou=Unit1A unit1A
    ou=Unit2A unit2A
    ou=Unit1B unit1B
    etc
    The values for ldapOrgDNPrefix and ldapOrgUnitObjectClass in Lookup.OID.configuration is set as follows:
    ldapOrgDNPrefix=ou
    ldapOrgUnitObjectClass=organizationalUnit
    When I try to provision user to these ou (unit1A or unit1B), i get "no such object" return error which makes sense since OIM is trying to add this user under ou=unit1A,dc=abc,dc=com which does not exist in OID. It should be ou=unit1A,o=org-A,dc=abc,dc=com but I am not sure how to tell that to OIM.
    Just to you know:
    I can provision either at the o=Org-A level by changing the values in Lookup.OID.configuration lookup table to ldapOrgDNPrefix=o and ldapOrgUnitObjectClass=organization
    OR
    If i create an organizational unit ou=Test under the top node i.e. dc=abc,dc=com and then change the values in Lookup.OID.configuration lookup table to ldapOrgDNPrefix=ou and ldapOrgUnitObjectClass=organizationalUnit then I can provision to ou=Test.dc=abc,dc=com
    but I am not able to provision under ou=unit1A if it is under o=Org-A.
    Thank you.
