OLE error code 0x80040154:unknown com status code
I have been trying to log on to a visual fox pro database and get this error .please help in sorting it out currently on windows 8.1.thankyou
What did you use? VFP OLEDB Provider?
Any additional info about the error?
And code so far?
Googling the OLE error code suggests "class not registered". So do you try to use the VFP OLEDB Provider without first installing it? Or if you installed, did you have any installation errors?
Unlike MSSQL client tools often already installed neither VFP ODBC nor OLEDB drivers are a standard preinstallation of Windows or any major product.
Bye, Olaf.

Hi,
I am being trying to connect a Flex desktop application with a Java application running in Tomcat (6.0.29), and I get this error message when trying to use the Data wizard to connect with Blaze DS.
I have read all the tutorials and everything looks good from the server side. This is what appears in the server log:
2011-01-27 16:02:33,030 [ INFO] - RemotingDestinationExporter - Created remoting destination with id 'accounts'

(The last two lines appears when I put the AMF channel's URI in a browser).
Below is what appears in the Event log from Eclipse.

ThanksHi There,
I am getting the same error. can anyone tell me what could be problem? -
<p>anyone ever seen an error message like this? it occurswhen trying to pull spread % at any level...</p><p> </p><p>restarting the app temporarily fixes it, but it keeps comingback...any thoughts?</p>
<p>I have seen this error before. Firstly checkout the suggestions for that error code.</p><p>In my case I checked just about everything, it turned out to bethat the ESSSRV process (for that cube) was using too much memory(about 1.8Gb) which seems to be a magic threshold for AIX. Once I stopped and started the app it started running ok. For this particular cube I was constrained as to the outlineconfiguration, so I could make very few changes (e.g. reducingblock size etc).</p><p>I built a process to shut apps down during the day if noconnects which reduced the number of times this happened from a oneor two times a month to never.</p>

when I created my flex project, and added it to the server using the way of Add web module... . After that, I started my server, and changed to this view:
I clicked "Connect to Data/Service..." and selected the service type "BlazeDS". When the Flash Builder popped up a Authentication window, I checked "No password required" and clicked the OK button, and then, the problem comes out.
Any clues for this problem? Thank you. With all the problems people have with this error, you'd think there would be a FAQ about it. is this it? no answers?
no one knows why this happens with eclipse/FB4 on a windows xp system? is this the kind of support you get from Adobe?
this is EXTREMELY frustrating!!!!!!! please Adobe,HHHEELLPPP!!!!! -
Error executing RDS command. Status Code : 404 , Reason : Not Found
Anyone know how I would resolve this error?
There can be any number of reasons. First would if the RDS feature is disabled on the server you’re connecting to. Second, that web server (if you are using one) could be configured to block RDS requests (or perhaps even all requests to url’s with CFIDE in them). You could address those, but before you do, please do share more about your use of CFB.
To be clear, are you meaning to intentionally use the feature in CFB where you define a server (and optionally connect a project to that server), so that you can use features to allow you to access server resources (database info, CFC, and more) from within CFB? You would typically only do that in connecting to a development server. Just want to know what your intentions are before leading you to enable something on a server that you don’t really need.
And while we await those answers, and whether the first paragraph may get you going to a solution, is this CF server something you’re connecting to (the RDS url) using the server’s external web server (like IIS or Apache, such as is typical if you have no port in the URL), or via CF’s built-in web server (such as is typical when you have a port like 8500 in the URL)? That may be important in helping to solve your problem.
For instance, if the server (and the URL you’re using) uses IIS, then if you visited the URL for RDS in a browser on the server itself, you may get a much more clear explanation of the problem (since by default, IIS shows more details for requests made ON the sever itself than it does for requests from off the server). The RDS URL (which is generated by the RDS feature in CFBuilder, not something you normally type) is /CFIDE/main/ide.cfm, so append that to the domain or IP address of the server you have configured CFBuilder to use, and see what more detail you may get in your browser.

OLE error code in Windows 8.1
Good day,
I tried to run vfp8 compiled executable file on windows 8.1, then i got this error...
"OLE error code 0x80040154: Unknown COM status code. Ole object is being ignored. Record number 6."
I have tried to read through similar issues but could not find my way out.
kindly help. Thanks
--- Gabriel Oladoyinbo Senior Consultant http://topmarkservices.netIt's not sufficient to simply add the missing file, activex need registering.
Your SCX knows what file it uses in it's OLE2 column.
USE your.scx
BROWSE FOR !EMPTY(Ole2)
Look inside.
And you better not only include that file in your setup, you also set it's properties so the setup registers it. And you better look out for a merge module installing an AcitveX and dependencies.
The properties of files you add to the installer project also have a COM settings tag, which includes Scan at Build, that scans for dependencies. Setting that for your EXE will make Installshield Express look out for any COM dependencies your EXE has and
will result in build warnings at least.

Thanks and regardsHello
- Check that the required users are available on all clients involved in the scenario.
- Are the users PIAFUSER/PIISUSER locked
- Generate the roles and do a Mass Comparison for SAP_XI, SAP_SLD and SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC (your Basis admin will know how to do this).
- Double check all necessary configurations e.g. in the application system -> sxmb_admin -> Integration Engine Configuration ensure you are using the format DEST://<RFC destination name>

HTTP Status Code from NetConnection
Hey flexers,
I have a flex app that requires a user to be logged in to make service calls. If the user isn't logged in or the session times out and the app makes a call to a backend service via AMF, the server responds with an HTTP status code 401, as expected. The response header looks like this:
HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required
Date: Wed, 18 Aug 2010 16:49:01 GMT
Server: Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.6 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g

I'm looking for the proper way, in the Flex app, to figure out it's a 401 status code. Previously, we were watching for the NetStatusEvent coming from NetConnection. If there was a info.errorCode property, we'd use that as the status code. Otherwise, if there was an info.description property, it would normally look like "HTTP: Status 401" in which case we'd pull it out of the string (which makes me cringe just thinking about it). However, at the moment the NetStatusEvent looks like this:
error flash.events.NetStatusEvent (@6a7eee1)
[inherited]
info Object (@7f3ea79)
code "NetConnection.Call.Failed"
description "HTTP: Failed"
details "http://dev.studioj.com"
level "error"
m_info Object (@7f3ea79)
No status code exists in the event anywhere in the event. After all kinds of debugging, rolling back code, etc., I can't figure out why the NetStatusEvent now has description "HTTP: Failed" instead of description "HTTP: Status 401".
Can anyone clarify what's going on? Thanks. After digging into it more, I've found that it's browser-specific behavior. When simulating an HTTP status code of 401, in Chrome and IE I get a NetStatusEvent that looks like this:
error flash.events.NetStatusEvent (@6c33791)
[inherited]
info Object (@6b14851)
code "NetConnection.Call.Failed"
description "HTTP: Status 401"
details "http://aaronhardy.com/test.php"
level "error"
m_info Object (@6b14851)
Notice the "description" has the status code. In Firefox I get an event that looks like this:
error flash.events.NetStatusEvent (@6c33791)
[inherited]
info Object (@6b14851)
code "NetConnection.Call.Failed"
description "HTTP: Failed"
details "http://aaronhardy.com/test.php"
level "error"
m_info Object (@6b14851)
Notice the status code isn't mentioned anywhere. Is this a known issue in Firefox? Are we really that close to being able to use real HTTP status codes yet so far away?

I checked into system, we have not customized the status reason. We have only two option value "Active"(1) and Inactive(2).
Also we don't have any plugin on SetStateDynamicEntity, we have only one plugin on create for that entity.
Did anyone face this issue? any pointer why its giving this issue??
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Team
We would like to monitor 12 url,s which requires Authentication. Hence i have added the same in one Single Web application transcation template.
i have added the below info to the get the Stats code displayed in Alert
Status code is $Data/Context/RequestResults/RequestResult["1"]/BasePageData/StatusCode$
when i recived a alert it gave the Status code of the 1st Request
hence i changed the same as
Status code is $Data/Context/RequestResults/RequestResult["12"]/BasePageData/StatusCode$
But still i am facing the same issue .
My first request shows me a status code of 200, and my 12th Request comes with 500 but in the alert i get 200 but it should be 500.
Kindly help me in how i can get the Status code for the multiple Request.
Regards
SriramHi Sriram,
Please run the test of your 12th Request, view full result and check if Status Code is 200.
Meanwhile, you can run the URL manually to check the result.

ABAP Proxy HTTP response contains status code 401
We have a client ABAP proxy running in a program successfully in our development system. Today I transported this to our Test system. When I tested, there were no messages in the adapter engine pipeline.
One of my colleagues discovered that when running SXMB_MONI on the Application system (_not_ the XI system), the XML queue there shows the message with an error, the error being:
HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized
I have looked at quite a few posts here with this error; the PIAPPLUSER is not locked, Integration engine is configured the same way in both Development and Test, but I cannot figure out why this is happening.
Any assistance more than welcome!
BR,
Tony.hi,
Check XIAPPLUSER is having this Role -SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER
If the error is in XI Adapter, then your port entry should J2EE port 5<System no>
If the error is in Adapter Engine
then have a look into SAP note- 821026, Delete the Adapter Engine cache in transaction SXI_CACHE Goto --> Cache.
May be wrong password for user XIISUSER
May be wrong password for user XIAFUSER
for this Check the Exchange Profile and transaction SU01, try to reset the password -Restart the J2EE Engine to activate changes in the Exchange Profile After doing this, you can restart the message
Thanks

ChandrasekharHi,
Take a look at this thread:
Re: XI 3.0 Demo: Unable to check flight availability: XI System Error
which deals with "Unable to check flight availability" error -
you can find a solution over there - using a correct RFC destination in SXMB_ADM --> Integration engine config
(for all clients except 100)
