I have a feeling that it may have started after upgrading to ios6.

Is this failing with Error 20 ?
Sometimes in a the router or modem if you use Port Forwarding then you are your Buddy may be missing the Screen Sharing Port.
The Screen Sharing part uses a different port to the Audio port.
As the port for Audio (And therefore Video) are known and can be port Forwarded it is the random Screen Sharing port that can be the problem.

iChat 4 info http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2282
If you are not using (or your Buddy) UPnP then I would change the method of opening the port to that.

Screen sharing stops after a few seconds of sound

I am struggling to resolve this. And I thought I was good at this.
I can do a video chat without incident.
Quicktime streaming is set to 1.5M
Bandwidth is set to none
Screen sharing is allowed in sharing prefs
I have tried all configurations in the prefs security firewall
We are both using ADSL routers
I can connect to others, this is their first attempt.
I don't believe there is anything other than the default router settings on their router.
(The remote client has an applescript to automatically accept screen sharing invites)
Anyone with any more ideas?

Song stops after a few seconds only

I've got this one song on my iPod Classic 80GB (roughly 2 months old) I have an issue with.
I only noticed it today for the very first time.
Upon starting the song, it takes approximately 14 seconds, then the song is stopped and the iPod automatically moves forward to the next song on the album.
I've never encountered this problem before and now I wonder why this is happening.
I can avoid it manually by fast forwarding a bit, passing the 14-second mark.
Suggestions, please.

I downloaded NW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3 parts 1 to 3 sucessfully, but when decompressing NW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3.part1 it stops after a few seconds without an error message.
When checking the archiv there is no error too.
Has anybody an idea about this behavior.

Sound from videos stops after a few seconds on Quicktime

I bought a new Samsung camera and took some videos at a concert. When I put the videos on my MacBook Pro and try to play them on Quicktime, the sound stops after a few seconds. When I try to play them on iMovie or use them in iMovie, not only is there no sound after a few seconds but the sound that is there is sped up.
The audio works fine in VLC but doesn't seem to work with anything else on my Mac. I've tried Perian, Flip4Mac...
Codecs: H.264, AAC

I've seen this issue in the past. I think it is connected to the operating system itself. I say this because I reinstalled the os using itunes and then restored a backup. Then garageband started behaving again. Then the issue came back - after I did an os update. So I'd try reverting back to a fresh version of the latest os, and then restoring your apps using a backup.

Does the issue occur when you have headphones inserted? If you are not sure, if you have a set of headphones available could you test that please?

On an IPad 1 even after a full restart, and only application running, I'm finding that Audio recoding stops after a few seconds. The duration seems to be fairly random between 5 seconds to 25 seconds. Creating other tracks seems OK.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have a HP G61, Product Code VY441EA#ABU. OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Audio stops after a few seconds. This happens on TV i-players, BBC News website clips, football streaming sites, even the HP Support site's tutorials. I have done a System Restore to a point when I know this was not a problem. I have downloaded the audio driver for my laptop from the HP site. I have tried the MS audio troubleshoot fix, which found no problems. I would sure be grateful for any other ideas to try!

My iPad shuts down apps after a few seconds.

Since a few days my iPad shuts down apps after a few seconds, while I am active with them. It happens with games as well as Safari and while I am reading eMagazines. What can I do? I am using the old iPad.

Try closing all apps completely and then do a reset and see if that helps. To close all apps : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

My problem on is that every songs just stops after a few seconds, I already searched for this on google and the only thing that I found was to disable high quality streaming and it's already disabled.This problem also only occurs on the downloaded software on my pc, the webplayer and spotify on my phone still work. (It occured yesterday, after last update) What does NOT help in my case:- reinstall Spotify- close in Manager SpotifyWebHelper.exe- clean the cash and temporary files- update Java- turn off VPN If anyone finds the solution, please let me know :) I have Windows 7 as well (and I have disable Flash in web browsers - I don't know it's important)

Photoshop CC 2014 stop after a few seconds

I'm a CC subscriber and I recently updated my photoshop CC to photoshop CC 2014.
I can start Photoshop but it automatically stops after a few seconds. I've already tried to uninstall / install multiple times without any success.
When I read the file "amt3.log" in my temp dir, I can see "[ERROR] | | | | AMT | | | 7188 | ERROR: Failure Validating Product License!".
So it seems like a licensing issue.
Did anyone faced this issue?

I have the exact same error on the log file. I even tried the "nuclear solution" with no more results...
But as I tested the nuclear solution, I uninstalled Lightroom (which worked fine) and I've got the same issue, but I solved it by manually installing it (i.e without using the cc application) and it worked fine.

However, I can't get my hands on a similar installer for Photoshop CC.

iTunes places the .ipsw file here:
OSX:

XP:

7 &Vista:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Find and delete any and all .ipsw files on your computer. There should only be one, but delete all that you find. Next, disable ALL firewalls & security software on your computer. Connect your phone, iTunes running & restore from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone.
This will force iTunes to re-download the .ipsw file, as I suspect yours is corrupt.

You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Your problem should be 100% solved
