On set up I am frozen on screen which ioS 6 cant get itunes to sync and I can turn the IPAD mini on but has no apps and is un responsive. When checking with computer its downloaded my pictures from Old ipad but I can see no apps or differing screens.
It is basically just a zombie machine with a screen with IOS6 on it. I have left it on with WIFI over night and still nothing.
I only bought this yesterday

In windows goto control panel>add and remove and uninstall itunes AND quicktime.
Now go here and follow ALL steps for cleaning itunes and quicktime out (Don't download or install yet) http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Scan for malware with ewido http://www.ewido.com
DISABLE ANTIVIRUS and security programs, then go here and instal "Quicktime WITHOUT itunes" http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html
Reboot, disable antivirus again then goto apple.com and download/install itunes

What setting have you chosen in the view menu? Fit to Screen or Window.
And, in Preferences what have you set for Display?

1. Triple-click the line below to select it:

What you do mean a lock icon?
On the whole screen or just in the status bar where it shows "iPod" and Time/Battery?
If the icon's there everything's ok. The feature was removed in iOS 6, anyways, the icon should be only in the lock screen.

That is not an indication of malware. If this is happening in Mail, it's a known issue where network problems that cause a delay in connecting to the server can cause Mail to reject the password.
Also, dump MacScan. It's not much good. The only way it can identify malware is by the timestamp on the file, which is extremely unreliable for identifying malware! If you want to have anti-virus software, get something like Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition or ClamXav.

What happens when you connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

When I try to use Safari, I get the error 'Cannot OPen Page' because it is not connected to the Internet, in spite of showing strong signal and the network is recognized by my iPad

Check to make sure you have access to the Internet by trying to download e-mail or another app that uses the Internet if you can connect then restart your iPad by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until your see the Apple logo. Then try Safari. If you are still unable to connect try double clicking your home button to enter the multi-task screen find the Safari app and hold your finder on the app until it starts to wiggle and a red minus sign is in the upper left corner, touch the minus sign to close the app, then give it a try.

i have a new iphone 5c and i cant get past the security questions. i made my apple account a while ago with an old email. i created a new apple id with my new email but i dont use it. How do i terminate the account with my new email so i can replace my old email? If i reset my security questions will it delete all my stuff?

You can't delete an iTunes account, but you should be able to change the email address that is on it e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com - you should then be able to put it on your old account.
For your security questions on your old account, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on that account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address or don't have access to that email account (you won't be able to add one or change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add or update your rescue email address for potential future use
Resetting an account's security questions shouldn't affect any of the purchases that you've made on the account.

If the report is good
Try using the USB 2.0 port at the back of the PC
Disconnect all other USB devices
Dont use any other Apps while you are syncing or Restoring.the iPod.
Disconnect from Internet and stop the Antivirus or other monitoring software.
