On Windows 7 for Gateway - Video Itself

The videos itself, and the audio from the videos lag when I play them on Quicktime. I have a Gateway laptop and I'm using Windows 7. I did check for updates, so everything is up-to-date. I've tried clearing my computers' cache and cookies, but that didn't work either. Can someone help me out here? I'd appreciate it!

OK, the laptop should be able to play HD material smoothly.
Unfortunately, this does not help. It can be so many factors. Hardware drivers (chipset, graphics), software.
You can not do much about QT or iTunes. The same videos on another laptop of same model may run without lag. The whole system setup.
Sorry, don't have any suggestion what you could. If the video weren't DRMed, I'd simply say "use another player", but so...

Just drag the small window to the top right below the toolbar, you'll see the area highlighted and when you drop it the file should dock.

IChat uses better Video Compression than Skype does.
On a top flight Mac you can send a 640 X 480 pixel frame up to 30 frames a sec.
Skype can't match this.
iChat in Video is Peer to Peer. (you can actually Log out of the Buddy list)
Skype seems to borrow something from everyone's bandwidth to make connections.
What do you mean by Business account Tracking ?
iChat Adds (or can add) the First Name, Last Name of your Buddies and create an Address Book Entry
Whether you mark those cards connected with a company is up to you.
(I have heard of issues with earlier version of iChat and the Address Book that "saw" the Company Name as the part of the Name and linking several Screen Names to the one name
Audio on a Mac using Skype tend to be the same as the streaming needs are less.
However you have to rely on any PCs audio abilities from PCs which may not be to the same standard.
Mac to PCs in iChat and AIM can be difficult though. (It should work but it rarely as simple as Plug and go)
Skype may suit your needs better on ocassions.

ITunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) did not fix choppy playback

After reading all the other posts I tried installing the (64 bit for older video cards) and it did not solve my choppy playback with Music or Movies. I am running windows 8.1, Intel i7-4500U CPU @ 1.8GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64-bit OS, x64 based processor, DELL Inspirion 15. Never had problems until upgrading to 8.1 from 8.0.

Did you see if changing the Play Audio Using select in Edit > Preferences > Playback to "Direct Sound" resolves the issue? Otherwise you may want to consider rolling back to 12.0 and waiting until a future release is shown to resolve the playback issues in 12.1. What's a good Windows application to convert videos for the iPhone 3G?

I've heard that Handbrake is great for converting videos to the iPhone 3G format but the current version has a bug in AAC decoding so it won't work for me.
Are there any other alternatives that are easy to use but produce full quality iPhone videos?

i use a program called 'videora iPhone 3G converter' available for free from www.videora.com to convert video's to iPhone compatible files. it is very easy to use. (for windows only)

Windows XP and ipods (Video & Shuffle)

I have windows XP. My daughter has itunes working fine with her ipod video, but when I plug in my wifes shuffle, the computer won't even say it's hooked in.........

Whenever I try to play my tv episode from the iTunes menu all I get is the audio track and a large blank green screen (aka: no video). The control bar to pause rewind, etc comes up but no picture.
With that one, the first thing I'd try would be the "Disable Direct3D acceleration in QuickTime" section of the following document. Quit and relaunch iTunes prior to checking to see if the settings change has had any effect:

How can I troubleshoot video issues?
I setup the iPad device (G711) and then placed a call to a Jabber for Windows (G729) phone. Audio worked fine but no video. I changed the Jabber for Windows to G711 and video started working?
Is Jabber for iPad going to support G729 and if so when?

In the sheet :: table :: cell that is going to receive the data, type an equals sign, then click on the cell that the data will come from and press Return.
This will require that you navigate to the origin cell by choosing the proper sheet.

The "The caller is not authorized to access the service." message seems pertinent.
Both web apps are using only NTLM auth.
The url for both web apps ends in the same contoso.com domain.
I get the same errors no matter what account I use, including the install account.
Things I've tried:
Deleting and building a new HNSC root web app and site. Error happens in all sites in all web apps except the PBSC hosting MySites.
Giving the root site app pool identity full control of the metadata service app (even though the MySite identitiy doesn't have it)
Giving the root site app pool identity full permissions on the metadata service app.
Comparing database and web app config permissions between dev (where everything works perfectly) and prod (where it does not).
Made sure IIS auth settings on both sites are identical
Both sites are using the same SSL certificate (though the call to the web service appears to be http)
Reprovisioned the metadata service app with a new database and new app pool identity.
Made sure C2WT is running. Tried it with the service stopped as well.
Web.configs are identical between working and non-working apps.
I'm stumped but still Googling. I'm hoping to avoid having to call Micrososft. Any help would be appreciated!
UPDATE:
Interestingly, when I restored the web application from backup (via CA), I ended up with 3 identical "Windows Authentication" authentication providers assigned to the problem web app. Since there was more than one, I was directed to the provider-chooser
page when visiting the site. Upon choosing 1 of the 3, I was authenticated, and *poof*, no more authentication errors and the term store loaded term sets as expected.
Of course, 3 providers was not an ideal state, so I grabbed the one that worked (#1) via get-spauthenticationprovider, and assigned it to the web app via set-spwebapplication, and my problem returned.
I am currently updating the farm to SP1 from June 2013 CU. Fingers crossed.
Update:
The update to SP1 went smoothly, but did not resolve the issue. Also related (I believe) are the random authentication errors when trying to upload images to some libraries, and 401-errors on the accessdenied.aspx page itself.

The problem is resolved, seemingly after making 4 changes. I'm trying to narrow down which change was the cure, if any:
I installed SP1 on all 6 servers, rebooted and upgraded. This appeared to have no effect.
Removed an old login from SQL that no longer existed in AD because of this ULS error:

This login was the identity of the application pool that used to run the web app in question.
This login was the schema owner of a schema named after itself on every SharePoint database so I changed the schema owner to dbo but left the schema attached.
The problem may have surfaced initially when the app pool identity was changed in CA, but went unnoticed?
Note that the web app had been deleted and recreated many times with a new identity and pool to no avail, but the URL remained the same throughout each attempted fix. Relevant?

I changed the authentication method from NTLM to Negotiate.
I am rolling back #3 and #4 to see if the issue resurfaces.
Update:
It doesn't appear to have been the NTLM/Negotiate setting. Web app is currently set to NTLM and all is well. No strange accessdenies, and term Store is still manageable from all sites.

ITunes 12.1 has static-y music, the 64 bit iTunes for old video drivers did NOT fix

Playing music on my iTunes has all of a sudden become static-y as of the 12.1 update, I looked for a while and found the "64 bit iTunes for older video drivers" and found that it fixed the problem for most people, I installed it and tried playing music, it's still static-y, I've changed my audio bitrate playback and bits per sample and nothing has changed, does anyone have a fix?

What's wrong with my code for a video embed?

I've embedded a video using Dreamweaver CS5 onto my site and the code is:

I made the video on iMovie and saved it as a .3gp file (the default for tiny videos) for the small file size (176x158.)
It works great live online in the browsers I've tested (Mac FF, Safari, Camino, GoogChrome, Windows FF), EXCEPT it doesn't load on Safari for Windows (works fine on Mac) and IE8 (and probably IE7, which I don't have.) Perhaps there are others where it won't work, too.
The spot for the video comes up on the site, and says the words, "Adobe Shockwave..", but never loads.
What is the problem here?

Didn't you understand what BalusC said? You're closing the connection and then trying to use the ResultSet. The ResultSet will be closed when you close the connection so you can't use it anymore.
You should close the connection last thing in your code, probably in a finally. And after you close your ResultSet and Statement.
People on the forum help others voluntarily, it's not their job.

TC on both Mac and Windows XP for backing up an file sharing?

I intend to buy a TimeCapsule 1TB. I read many of these threads, but I still cannot answer the following questions (which are very crucial for my wife :
1) Can TC be used as a file server to share jpeg's/movies/documents on both Mac OS X and Windows operated computers?
2) Can TC be used as a file server for media streaming (e.g. connecting to a BlueRay Player like Samsung BD-P 3600)?
3) Can I create several partitions, e.g. partition a) to backup via Time machine, partition b) to backup a Windows XP via third party software, partition c) to share files?
3) What do I have to consider by creating several partitions? Especially, which volumeformat do I have to choose to be able to share files between Mac OS X and Windows XP?

Yes.

Yes. However, keep in mind that the TC was designed to be the destination for Time Machine backups. It may not be able to perform well for streaming, especially for HD video when a client is connected wirelessly.

Yes, but you would have to temporarily remove the TC's internal hard drive (voiding the warranty) to do so as the AirPort Utility does not support disk partitioning.
3) What do I have to consider by creating several partitions? Especially, which volumeformat do I have to choose to be able to share files between Mac OS X and Windows XP?
You should use HFS+ for all partitions. Over the network, Windows devices will use SMB and Mac will use AFP to access these partitions.

Monitors for each video track?

Is there a way to have seperate Monitor windows for each video track, so as I scrub through a Sequence I can have a preview of what is on each track all at the same time (without using the Multi Camera editor)

What I do is find a sync point in the first clip and add a numbered clip marker to that point (for example, a camera flash or a music hit), and then edit it into the sequence. I do the same for the next clip(s), using the same numbered marker, and add those into the sequence. When I've added all the clips, select them all, and go to Clip > Synchronize > Numbered Marker, selecting the numbered marker that is common to all of the files. Once you hit OK, all of the clips will be synced around that point.
Definitely easier than looking at a four-up display and trying to figure out which one is which, IMO.

WebGL Renderer & GPU Accelerated Windows Blocked for your Graphics because of unresolved driver issues

I am using Windows XP SP 2. My mother board is ASUS F1A55-MLX Plus, Processor: AMD A4-3400 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.70 GHz, 2GB DDR3 DIMM 1333 MHz RAM and 500 GB SATA HDD. @mha007. I was able to update to version 10.0.1 via Help > About Firefox. Like John99 says it was updated a couple of days ago. However, the problem of WebGL and GPU still remains. I have asked my system supplier to check the same.
@zerofire. I have always built my computer and 'am a great fan of AMD. I hate Intel's blue Death Signs. We here in India do not like anything automated on our PC other than antivirus and antimalware along with pre-scheduled running of CCleaner and Defraggler. Once in a while I run CCleaner's Registry Cleaner. Even Windows Security Alerts are turned off. Windows XP and SP2 for PC and Windows 2000 for server are the most used. Not interested in SP3 or Vista as the transcription work I do requires me to just have XP or SP2. May later add on Windows 7 via dual booting.
