One of 3 links on a web page does not work under Firefox 9.0.1 but all three work under IE.

Please float your mouse over the Paypal button (bottom left) and over the Envelope button and the arrow will change to a pointed finger. Float it over the adjacent Blog button and the arrow remains an arrow. With Internet Explorer, all three button links work - but not with Firefox 9.0.1. Why is this?

I have the same problem, and I also wondered if Google toolbar has anything to do with it. There GMAIL was set as the default mail application at first. I have removed that setting, but Firefox 4.0.1 continues to use GMAIL instead of Outlook which is my selection for mailto handling.

The Help Link from the Application Pages Does not Work for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0

I have a problem, I have been trying to set up the Help Link from the Application Pages for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0 according to the instructions given in the Document: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/EnablingtheHelpLinkfromApplicationPages.pdf , (referenced in the Doc ID 1289101.1, E-PB: How to Set Up the Context Sensitive Help with Hosted PeopleBooks using Universal Linking).
I follow the instructions of that document carefully:
I go to: PeopleTools -> Web Profile -> Web Profile Configuration
    2. Then I choose the Web Profile: "Development".
    3. Then Change the value for the Help URL field by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5 , the ctx parameter selected is the one that correspond to the Campus Solutions (hrcs90r5) according to the Product Line Code Table (ULinkID) especified in the mentioned document.
    4. Stop the Web Domain and Clear cache.
    5. Start the Web Domain again.
After setting up the Web Profile Configuration I test the help links, thas is why I click in the Help link in any Peoplesoft CS 9.0 Application Page (modify a person), but the next error message appears: "We're sorry, the topic you requested was not found.".
I tried many combinations with the ctx parameters URL but it does not work yet.
I did the same test, but this time using the Help URL field with a HRMS ctx parameter by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hcm92pbr5 , and It works fine !!!
According to the previous test you realize that It works with HRMS ctx parameter but not with Campus Solutions 9.0 ctx parameter, Does anybody know what else can I do ? Am I doing anything wrong or missing? or maybe the Oracle's ctx parameter for Campus Solutions URL It is broken simply.

2799444 - The page you are testing with appears to be a Workforce Administration page. Is that correct?
The CS PeopleBooks would only work for CS pages, e.g.: try navigating to Main Menu > Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person
Also, you can use multiple ctx parameters:
E.g.: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5&ctx=hcm92pbr5&ctx=pt852pbh2
This way the help would work for the HR related pages like Workforce Administration, Campus Solutions pages like Campus Community and also PeopleTools pages like Web Profile Configuration. Hope this clarifies your question. Thanks!

Create PDF From Web Page Does Not Create Image Maps Properly

I have a website that contains image maps. When I "Create PDF From Web Page", these image maps are not rendered properly. From what I can tell, this is a BUG within Acrobat, and I'm hoping that people can confirm this for me.
I created a test page at http://www.quantumdynamix.net/clients/image-map-test/. I placed the images maps my manually coding the coordinate information, so the maps are PRECISELY placed exactly over the squares. Each image map navigates to an anchor corrisponding to the number on the red square.
When I created the PDF using the "Create PDF From Web Page" feature, the image maps are rendered improperly. This file can be viewed at http://www.quantumdynamix.net/clients/image-map-test/ImageMapTest.pdf. To view the outlines of the image maps, please select "Tools" -> "Advanced Editing" -> "Link Tool". You can see the outlines are substantially incorrect.
Please confirm that other can replicate this problem. Any solution to this issue would be very helpful!

This has to be considered a legatimate bug, especially since IMAGE MAPS is listes as one of the supported HTML features via the help files

Mp3 as background audio on web page does not play in ff 3.6.22 It does play in IE why?

I am building a web page. When I was editing the page and clicked on browser review, the music I was playing in the background played in ff 3.6.22 and in IE 7. When I uploaded the page to the web for testing, the background music played in IE7 but not ff 3.6.22.

In the process of trying to figure this out, I updated my plugins, all but one successfully. Java would not install because an error message said there was a syntax error. (Since I ran the installer from the Firefox download screen and not through the command line, I tried to contact Java only to find out that the only way I can get help is to pay $1/minute. This is ridiculous.)

Web page does not see SWF file

Hi, I am wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction?
I have created a web page with Indesign which includes some animation.
When I export it to SWF format it creates seperate HTML and SWF files.
I have moved these two files, together with every other file I used in creating the document to my web host (Hostmonster). I have read on other threads that I probably should have a RESOURCES file, I don't have one.
When I go to my home page, I get a grey screen, which Hostmonster inform me is because the HTML cannot find the SWF file.
Anybody got any idea what I may be doing wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to try and help.
I uploaded the files and folders using Filezilla.
The above image was a screen sho under Hostmonster that shows that my files are indeed there.
I also came across a folder for SWF which I believe belongs to the main website (cliveread.com) and put my file in there, it does not make any difference.
As you will see in 3 both my HTML and SWF files are there.
As a novice I hope you can help.

iframe link, inside a frameset page, does not go to the new link when left clicked. but just clears the page instead.

Trouble shooting info from my computer attached as requested, but problem exists on other people's computers also, including MACs.
Problem exists only with <iframe> link within a page that is part of a frameset. If page contained within a frameset is accessed directly (ie, show only this frame) then the <iframe> link works normally.
Works ok in Internet Explorer, used to work in Firefox. If RIGHT click on the <iframe> link then select either new tab or new window it works OK.

At first I was ending up opening to the Help page, but finally u sent me instructions that worked. Now my Net connection opens to my Yahoo page.

Safari 6.0.1 won't load web pages randomly, and says website unavailable/no connection. But, all my other devices do have a great connection. Is there a fix for this problem?

I recently bought OS X mountain Lion, and safari 6.0.1 was running great for a short period of time when it stopped loading the web pages. It will randomly do this now and then. I try resetting safari to no avial, and when I do a system reset it provides a temporary fix. It's very annoying problem. I know it is not a connection problem because all my other devices get internet connection. Safari will say no connection/web site is unavailable. The OS I have is OS X ML 10.8.2. Any suggestions?

Web page does not fit screen. now have scroll bar at the bottom

2 problems exist and i have tried to find solutions to both with no luck. On Firefox 16.0.2 using XP Pro.
First: Web pages no longer fit screen. Now have scroll bar at the bottom. For some strange reason this just started. I tried the CTRL+ 0 with no luck.
Second: At the same time the above started when i open a program it opens in a reduced screen size and i have increase it to full screen size. This also occurs when i have it reduced 9in the system tray and i bring it back to the desk top.
I have made no changes to firefox these problems just started. A reboot of the computer did not help

Did you check the window settings of the Firefox desktop shortcut to see how Firefox opens?
Did you try to delete the current Firefox desktop shortcut and create a new shortcut?
Use Restore or Maximize in the right-click context menu of the Taskbar icon to set focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the Firefox window.
Open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize that window (use the keyboard cursor keys).<br />
If that works then first close all other open Firefox windows and then close Firefox via "File > Exit/Quit" to save that setting.

Web page does not publish

Hi all,
it's been about 6 months since I publish my webpages.
I created a new site, or renamed an old one (i had 3) and made a simple change, and attempted to pblish but it did not work
1- I click publish and:
a-I get- "logging in to mobile me" and a 2nd window (the original window setting iweb for the 1st time) asking me if I want to try mobile me for free, 60 days trial, or if "already a member"... i obviously click the latter since I am a member for 8yrs.
b-it brings me to the system preferences, under .mac, (i'm still using 10.4.11) asking me for my password at .mac account. Not sure why it has been there for years.
c-once I put my password, it verifies with .mac, and it is Valid.
d- then I go back to iweb page, and it stopped attempting to "logging in to mobile me", hence also stopped to publish
2- if I try publishing again, i have to go through a- d again! never ending chain!
3- I attempted to click "visit" button, and get: "I web could not open the website, An error occurred when iWeb attempted to open your website".
What's up with that???
anyone knows what's up?
BTW, i have been having trouble with my keychain under my user for quite some time.. it never remembers my password for my Gmail and .mac mail, but never had problem publishing to iwed until now, even while having problem with my keychain!

The page loads but when i enter login username & password , the processing stops there.
