One of the pages in my website will not display the Amazon links to books I sell. Only one book, wiich is not on Amazon displays on the page. On Internet Explorer, all my books display. why?

Ever since converting my website to WordPress the "Recommended Reading" page doesn't display the book I listed that link to Amazon. Only one book linked to another website displays, but not of the Amazon Books.
This does not happen on Internet Explorer. I have asked this question last week but have not received a response.
Can you help? Go to: www.transitionexecs.com and click on "recommended reading" to see what I mean.

Do you have any ad-blocking software?
Those links have ad in the url that might trigger such software.

Most printing issues are solved by resetting the Printing preferences. When you print from Firefox and you click on the down arrow, do you see Defualt and Firefox? Please make changes to the preferences here and preview the document.

How To Stop Internet Explorer 11 Prompting To Display Full-screen Mode

Is there a way to stop the desktop version of Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 from prompting whether you want a website to display content in full-screen mode?
When it displays the prompt "Do you want to view youtube.com in full screen? (Press Esc to exit.)", if you select 'Always Allow', it doesn't permanently remember this setting, as it will be reset when the browsing history is deleted.
Surely there must be a setting somewhere to prevent it from displaying this prompt every time?

In fact, I suspect it is something that a Flash programmer would know but YouTube would know for that reason.

I disagree, as far as I'm concerned it's a Microsoft problem, not a Flash programmer problem. In fact, more specifically it's an Internet Explorer 11 problem, as it doesn't occur in IE10 and before. And it's not a problem specific to YouTube either as it
doesn't just occur on YouTube, it happens on other sites as well.
It almost seems as though Microsoft changed something in IE11 and forgot to put a setting in either the Internet Zone Settings, Advanced Internet Options or IE Group Policy settings. Something along the lines of:
Allow display of full-screen content
Enable
Disable
Prompt (Default)
Meanwhile, unless there's a setting somewhere to disable the prompts that I can't find, the end user has to put up with these stupid prompts with no way of permanently disabling them? What was wrong with how it was before with just a semi-transparent
message that faded out after a couple of seconds which said "Press ESC to exit full screen mode"? Why the need for an annoying distracting prompt that requires user interaction as well? And even if there is a reason (which I'd be fine with), why
is there no option to disable it like you can with other prompts?
If it's something that a Flash programmer would know, then maybe someone needs to let Microsoft's own Flash programmer's know about it:

Internet Explorer 11 issue with displaying value in confirm password text box

I have one Website which has deployed on Windows 2008 R2 server.
I have one issue with one Web Page... In my Web page have 3 Text boxes for Passwords like -
Login :
Password :
Confirm Password :
So in this case, when this page load all data fills properly excluding confirm password.
"Confirm Password" text box always shows Blank. This text box already filled through code as per database value, but not shown value in this text box.
But same value is showing in first "Password" text box properly.
This problem occurred in IE 10 and 11 only. Same page is showing properly on other browsers and IE8 also.
Can you please give me any solution on this issue ?

For the issue,I would like to confirm if the issue is related to compatibility.
Please try to use compatibility mode use F12 to check IE8 mode will work.

Internet Explorer 9 doesn't display XML Report Text

I have just updated reasently to Internet Explorer 9 and now all of my XML Reports do not show the report text. I've attached a pic where you can plainly see the report test in TestStand but not in IE9.
The other intresting thing is if the XML is on one of our company network drives it displays fine just not if opened from the local drive.
Any ideas?

This is a known issue that will be fixed in the TestStand 2010 maintenance release. If you'd like to workaround this issue by modifying the XML style sheet for your report without using the Compatibility option that you found in IE9, follow these steps.
If using a default style sheet, save a copy with a different name to preserve the original file.
Open the style sheet in a text or code editor.
Search for node.firstChild.text by using the Find tool in your editing environment.
Replace the line:
            var text = node.firstChild.text;
with:
            var valueChildNode = node.selectSingleNode("Value");
     var text = "";
     if (valueChildNode)
       text = valueChildNode.text;
     else
       text = node.text;
Search for Error: by using the Find tool in your editing environment.
Replace the line:
           Error: <xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="user:RemoveIllegalCharacters(.)"/>
with:
           Error: <xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="user:RemoveIllegalCharacters(ErrorText)"/>
Save the new version of the style sheet.
Open TestStand and go to Configure»Report Options...
In the Contents tab, change the style sheet to point to your updated version.
Run a sequence that you expect to populate the Report Text.
Open the generated XML report in IE9 and verify that the Report Text is properly populated.

First time user. Instructions on how to use not clear. My problem is the message "Do you mean to switch apps? Reader is trying to open Internet Explorer?" suddenly appeared in blue bar. Occurs with I click on links in PDF. What caused this? How to fix? How to avoid it from happening again?
Same conflict with email links, just different message: "Do you mean to switch apps? Reader is trying to open mail?"
Goal: Do not want to switch apps and do not want to be asked this question.
Environment: Windows 8, file developed in Publisher 365, Reader 10 "I think"

Thank you for responding. I have recreated the error, but cannot figure out how to use Snipping Tool to get screenshot of a Windows 8 panel. Have the tool placed in the tool bar, but tool bar not accessible on the PDF display. Any suggestions?

Here's the whole litany for thoroughly checking your home folder.
1. Navigate to ~(YourHome/Library/Fonts - drag this folder to the desktop.
• Restart and test your applications.
• If they work start adding the fonts back few at a time.
( Likely suspects are Times RO & Helvetica Fractions, also if you do not use Classic you can trash the classic fonts.)
2. Check Preferences Thoroughly;
• Navigate to ~(YourHome/Library/Preferences drag this folder to the desktop.
• Restart and test your applications.
• If this works, save the old preferences folder somewhere else or on disk, name it "old prefs" .
** Note: A very important file is the "com.apple.Mail.plist" preference file located in the Preferences folder which contains all email account settings and general mail preferences (hold this one and replace if your problem is not with Mail).
You'll have to go through some of your System Preferences and apps to set the preferences back to how you like them. (Or if you have the time and inclination, "cherry pick" through until you find the problem one or two.)
3. Check Permissions Inside Home Folder
• Navigate to YourHome/Library.
• Get Info (Command - i) on folders for apps you are having problems with.
• Open the "Ownership & permissions" disclosure triangle.
• Make sure you are the owner, with "read and write" access.
• Click on "apply to all"
• If this is correct, open the "Applications Support" folder and do the same procedure (Command+I) for the folders with the names of the applications you are having trouble with.
Note:
The reason to check this is because repairing permissions with Disk Utility doesn't touch permissions inside your home folder.
4. Navigate to YourHome/Library/Caches and drag this folder to the trash, then log out and back or restart. There is no need to replace this folder.

Internet Explorer very slow to display with JRE 1.5.0_7 and above

We're running Windows 2000 Server (SP4) with Terminal Services enabled in Application Server mode. We typically have 20+ concurrent users logged on to a server. Since JRE 1.5.0_7, we've had issues with Internet Explorer taking upwards of 15 seconds to display even though Iexplore.exe appears in Task Manager almost immediately. If we uninstall JRE 1.5.0_7 and use 1.4.2_6, Internet Explorers displays fine. We've tried JRE 1.5.0_11 and 1.6.0_3, and Internet displays slowly. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any thoughts of why this is occuring? Thanks.

That is a know problem caused by specifying the text color as transparent in the stylesheet.<br />
Removing that color rule or specifying a color like black (#000) should fix it.

A page on a website will not open. Most everything else will excpet this one page on the website.

The page sits and tells me it is loading and never does. The webpage has other places that work fine.

HAVE had similar experiences:
1. doubt it is a firefox issue. 2. The server could be having problems finding the page (whose name is valid, thus no 404), but un-retrievable due to OS or hardware problems (infinite search loop). 3. Waiting for a display tool like Adobe Acrobat Reader to be loaded for PDF files; start Acrobat and check your downloads and click on the list item wanted; usually it is automatic unless you turned off the linkage relationship. 4. Same applies to DOC/docx, png/jpg and mp3/mp4 files. WAYS to figure out the problem: 1. drop the last section from the URL, go there and look for a newer link to the file you want. 2. check whois.net to make sure the website is a safe place to visit (some mal-sites fake a stalling search in order to download malware in the backgound). 3. google the same information you want and seek it at another URL. good luck.

I'm only seeing websites source code show up in Firefox? About 5 percent of the time (or less), websites will display properly, but the rest of the time it's just the source code. This occurs on all sites I try. Whats up?

Not sure why this is happening, I've tried changing a bunch of settings to no avail.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Recenty, some of the icons associated with websites will no longer display, although they always did so in the past

The small icon that is associated with a website & appears to the left in the address bar when a website loads no longer appears for 6 of my most frequently used websites. This began about a week ago.
