One-time customer with ERP Sales Order

Hello experts,
I am working with ERP Sales Order on SAP CRM 7.0 Ehp3.
We have a requirement to start using 'one-time customer' process. I know there is a standard account groupd (CPD) on ECC side for this purporse.
We would like to enter a sales order for occasional customers, without saving the customer in the master data table.
I would like to have an occasional customer (example nº 1000 which should work like a CPD). I need to enter a sales order for this customer nº 1000, and once I enter nº 1000 on the BP number field, it should bring a Pop-up in order to enter the customer's information (address).
This is working when I create the order via VA01 on ECC side, but the pop-up is not shown when I try to create the order on CRM via erp sales order.
Any suggestions on how to make one-time customer work on ERP sales order? And how to make the pop-up work?
Thanks in advance!
Luis

Thanks a lot, Rene! I have just read this SAP note and confirmed your information.
Do you know of any workaround or development that could be done for this scenario using ERP sales order?
If not, I will suggest using transaction launcher and create this type of order for the one-time customer directly in VA01.
Once again, thanks for replying!
Luis.

  • Order Type Group - CRM 7.0 B2B Ecommerce with ERP Sales Order Scenario

    Hello Experts
Scenario: CRM 7.0 with ERP Sales Order
How can we use ORDER TYPE GROUP in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
With CRM as a back end this ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality is available as OOTB, but with ECC as a back end is this available?
As per out understanding, we can use more than one TRANSACTION TYPE by seperating the TRANSACTION TYPES by COMMA in shopadmin? Is it a right understanding?
Kindly let us know if we have ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
    Thanks and Regards
    DJ

    Hi DJ,
In fact the Order Type Group is only available when you are connected to CRM Backend. For ERP Webshops, you only have the option to add the Order Types separated by coma.
In addition, be aware that B2B only supports Sales Document with category "C - Sales Orders" on ERP backends, for example:Credit Memo Requests won't work. For more information, I created Note 1567713 that explain the restrictions.

  • Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order

We are in the process of upgrading from CRM 4.0 sp 6 to CRM 2007.  We have been using the Web IC and Mobile sales for the last 4 years.  In our original CRM 4.0 implementation (which was developed by SAP) we were using the CRM Web IC to create orders with R/3 using a couple of BADI's.  We are currently using R/3 4.7 and have plans to upgrade to ECC 6.0 next year.  I was just rereading some of the documentation in the upgrade guide and came across the following line:
"The following software units are required for the Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order scenario:
Mandatory:  IC WebClient with specific ERP Sales order viewset requires SAP ECC 6.0"
This implies that the standard Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order functionality will not work in our current landscape and that it would only do so when we upgrade to ECC.  What options are open to us to get around this?  What is the technical reason why this functionality doesn't work with SAP R/3 4.7?
I can't imagine we are the first company to face this problem and I can't imagine everyone upgraded to ECC 6 - so what approaches have people taken to address this issue
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

In the last 12 months we upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 in CRM and went form 46C to ECC 6.0.
In your current landscape you can create orders in the ICWC where the order is created in CRM and replicates to R/3 4.7.     You have the replication scenarios X, Y, Z available to you.
Your other option is using the ICWC R/3 order screen where you basically are calling R/3 transaction VA01 and entering the order in the ICWC but the order entry in being done directly into R/3 via your ITS server.  Looks almost exactly like VA01 in the gui.  The menu bars are a little different.
The ERP order looks like other ICWC screens,  is very sharp and users wouldn't know that they are entering the order directly in ECC.  We have been using it about 3 months.  More Pro's than Con's, if you have user exits in MV45AFZ* the ERP order still uses them  (but t-code isn't VA01 if you have condition If statements around t-codes).
    Hope this helps,

  • One time customer/vendor

    Good morning
    Consultants..........
i am not clarified my self about one time vendors/customers ,,,,,,,,
pls let me know how exactly came in to picture one time customer/vendor and  one example for this
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    prabhakar

    Hi,
Practically speaking Customers/Vendor with whom you have an one time Purchase/Sales were called One Time Customers/Vendors.
    Why ?
If your regular Vendor/Customer were not able to transact with you at some point of time, you find a Vendor/Customer to whom you have a transaction only once.
So basically you dont need any details about this Customer/Vendor because your transaction is going to last for one transaction.Thats why no Master Records are maintained for this One Time Customer/Vendor(reason behind this is to save some space).
There is one more situation where You have this One Time Customer/Vendor on a regular basis that is whenever your regular Customer/Vendor fails you are going to depend on this One time Customer/Vendor.So you need to segregate the transactions of One Time Customer/Vendor.
    What you can do?
You can create a Dummy Customer/Vendor for a particular region with the details like Master Record Name,Currency,Sales Office.
If a One Time Customer from that region orders goods, use the customer number master record when processing the Sales Order. You enter the address and other data that is not in the master record in the Sales Order. This is called Collective Master Record of Customers/Vendors.
    Regards
    Andrew
PS:I think it is lil more elaborate for a simple question.

  • Config steps for one time customer

    hi,
    sap gurus,
can i have the configuration steps for one time customer.
    regards,
    balaji

    Hi,
    One-time customers
Customers who only enter into a business transaction with you once are called one-time customers in the R/3 System. It is not necessary for you to create a customer master record for individual one-time customers, since you no longer need this master record after the business transaction has been carried out, and it would use up storage space. You create collective master records for one-time customers.
    Use
A collective master record refers to a dummy customer and includes only the data that is identical for a certain group of customers.
You create a collective master record for all customers in a certain region. This collective master record could include fields such as:
    Master record name
    Language
    Currency
Sales office processing the customer data
If a one-time customer from this region orders goods from your company, you use the customer number of your collective master record when processing the sales order. Only in the sales order itself do you enter the address and all other data not given in the collective master record.
    Structure
When you create a collective customer master record for a one-time customer, the account group CPD for one-time customers is automatically proposed by the system. This ensures that you can access screens from different partner functions (sold-to party, ship-to party, bill-to party, and payer) relevant for one-time customers. However, only fields that can be identical for all one-time customers are displayed. For example, all address fields are suppressed, since the master record is collective for data on several customers, all of whom can have different addresses.
On the following screens you can enter a limited amount of data in a collective master record for one-time customers:
    Address
    Sales
    Shipping
    Billing
    Messages
    Integration
The account group can restrict the number of screens accessed in the collective master record for one-time customers even further. If only some of the screens and fields for one-time customers are relevant for your company, change the account group CPD or set up a new account group. This is done in Customizing for Logistics Basic Data: Business Partners in the activity Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customers.

  • Product Proposal in ERP Sales Order.

    Hi Guys,
We are panning to use product proposal (PP) in ERP sales order and we are facing some challenges to fetch Price and Availability in the PP view.
Does anybody integrated PP with ERP sales order? Please provide detailed steps if any.
Please share your experience and steps to integrate this scenario.
To obtain price in PP, do we need to maintain pricing in CRM?
For availability information in PP, do we need to connect to APO? or the gATP/Availability happens via ECC to APO?
Please shed some light on this subject.
    Thanks
    Shree

    HI Shree,
You dont have to maintain price in crm to get price in product proposals, pricing in ERP is enough for price to get populated.
For availibilty check for PP you have to maintain MRP type in material master for the products which gets populated in PP and have to maintain ATP Profile at item level.
One setting which needs to be maintained in crm is
goto spro->CRM->Transactions->Settings for ERP Transactions Maintained via CRM->Product Proposals->Assign Method schema to ERP transaction Type.
Here give the sales Org, Transaction Type and Method schema.
Please let me know if you need more information on this.

  • Material Description is not getting updated in IC-WebClient ERP Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
The issue is with ERP Sales Order  in IC web client.
    Scenerio:1
While creating the Sales order,  If we  enter a product  in Line Item 10 , which is  mapped (Product Type)  in both the systems(CRM&ERP) . It will take the description for that product correctly. If  we enter  another product  in Line Item 20 , which is   not mapped (Product Type)  in CRM system (only available in R/3)  the description of the previous line Item product (Item 10)  inherited to Item 20 instead of taking the description of Item 20.
    Scenerio:2
If  we enter  a product  in Line Item 10(as a first Item) , which is  not mapped (Product Type)  in CRM system (only available in R/3)  It will take the correct description for that product . And there is no problem for Second line Item, even though the Second line Item is not mapped (Product Type)  in CRM system (only available in R/3)
Technically  speaking :The Product which is mapped in both the systems is entered as first line item , this product description is copied for all the line items below (i.e 20,30,40) which are not mapped in both the systems. As and when we entered a  mapped  product in line Item 50 , It is taking the correct description of Item 50
    Kindly advise.

    Hi Raja,
    This looks like a bug.

However, since you are using ERP sales order, i request you to look at my issue in the below thread and answer if you had similar issue.
let me know if i can speak to you in person.

  • GATP (APO) Check results in ERP Sales order.

    Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement to get GATP results (Product Substitution) into ERP Sales order. Please note this is not CRM Sales Order we are dealing with. We are not able to populate product substitution into schedule line.
According to SAP, GATP/ATP happens automatically unlike CRM sales order which has a "ATP check" button. Standard SAP functionality for ERP SLO doesn't have "ATP" button.
My question is, when the automatic check happens in the background, will the ERP sales order populate the "product substitution" results ( assuming that product substitution is set up in APO) from APO into ERP SLO in the schedule line?
Do we need to integrate APO with CRM for ERP sales order?
For example if the order has requested quantity of 100 and only 60 is available, will APO-ATP/GATP (which happens automatically according to SAP in ERP SLO) populate rest of the 40 with product substitution into the schedule lines
Please advice if any of you guys faced similar issue or have implemented ERP Sales order with GATP check.
    Thanks
    Shree

Does anyone have an answer to this question. We have the same requirement regarding GATP with ERP Sales Orders in CRM.
    Thanks,

  • How to create a sales order for one-time customer

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where in creating a sales order, I have to add the tax code for one-time customer. This is not the tax jurisdiction but it is a text field that you can see in Further attributes and it will store in VBPA3 table.
My plan was create sales order first using SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE or BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. Then I used BDC of va02 for changing the salesdoc. But the problem is, we can't proceed because there's a message "TAX HAVE REDETERMINED"  that it doesn't included in recording a transaction.
Another one is, instead of calling the standard bapi, I used BDC for VA01. Again, upon recording there was anothe message popped up "FREIGHT REDETERMINED". And it's not in the recording so we can't proceed.
Would you know what field is for the tax code when I use SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE or any standard bapi? Is there other way aside from calling a standard bapi or bdc?
    Points will be given..Thanks!

    Good afternoon Bella,
We are in a project that exactly need this solution. Could yoy please explain me how you solve the issue ?
    Kind regards

They want only "NAME & PHONE NO" as mandatory field so that the Person who creates a Salesorder should enter the NAME & PHONE NO" . Please let us know where the configuration for teh above is?

  • ERP Sales Orders - CL_CRM_INTLAY_LORD2_ERPIL - one time consumer

    Dear SAP CRM gurus,
I'm trying to use the methods related to class CL_CRM_INTLAY_LORD2_ERPIL in order to manage changes in the name/surname/address of the BP in the ERP Sales Order that I create as a follow up from an opportunity from SAP CRM.
In SAP CRM System, I've created a BP with
    ID = OCCAS
    Name = Name_CRM
    Surname = Surname_CRM
In SAP ECC System, I've created a BP with
    ID = OCCAS
    Name = Name_ECC
    Surname = Surname_ECC
When I create an ERP Sales Order, the requirement is to substitute Name_ECC with Name_CRM; Surname_ECC with Surname_CRM.
As far as I've seen, the most important methods which sends data into ERP should be the following:
    IF_CRM_ERP_LORD_API~MAINTAIN
    IF_CRM_ERP_LORD_API~LOAD
but I haven't been able to find the right place where to put the code..
Does anybody know how to achieve this result?

  • Creating ERP Sales order with reference to CRM Service Order

    Hello all,
I am trying to create an ERP Sales Order from CRM. If Icreate the Sales Order manually, it is working correctly but, if I try to create the ERP Sales Order as follow-up document for the CRM Service Order, it is not working.
I have defined the Cross-system Copying of Transaction Types, byt the ERP sales order is not shown as possible follow.up doc from the CRM Service Order. Does anyone know if it is possible?
Additionally, I would need to create CRM Sales Orders in reference to ERP Sales Order. Is there any way to do it??
    Thanks in advance and Regards,

    Hi Oliver,
    Rajendra answer is correct.
The SAP Standard integration Scenario creates a ERP sales order for all the salesitems in the serviceorder.
Without items no salesorder is created in standard.
Maybe you could realize your requirement with own coding when you save a new service order or by button - click.
I realized something similar some weeks ago. One hind:  It is helpfull to maintain a ztable where you store which CRM serviceorder is linked to which sales orders.
    Kind regards.

  • Is it possible to use variant configuration (with a Non-SAP solution) when creating ERP sales orders in SAP CRM WebUI

    Hello,
our customer plans to use a Non-SAP solution for variant configuration (Camos) in SAP ERP (ECC 6.0) and in SAP CRM 7.0 EHP1 as well.
ERP sales orders (and ERP quotations) should be created in SAP CRM (CRM WebUI).
Is it possible to use variant configuration (with an external variant configuration tool) when creating ERP sales orders and quotations in the SAP CRM WebUI or do we have to implement SAP IPC for this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    AEV

    Dear AEV,
I think LORD (lean orders) should work with variant configuration as well. In the note 1236015 there is not restriction listed. However you need lord2 activated in ECC, and ECC system should be on EHP4.
