One trip number for several trips

We want to use travel management to pay the mileage to our customer engineers who visit customer sites daily. We need to input only date, time and miles covered. I tried to use travel calendar for that but the only problem is that each line (for a day) is assigned a separate trip number while we want ONE trip number for like 20 days data. Is it possible.

In travel calander it will create seperate trips for each day.If you wish to create only one trip no. against various trips you may create direct in TRIP /PR05 transaction, with the range of start date and end date of your trip.
Then add Mileage additional receipt for each day, it will create single trip against all your receipts.

Can I use the same trip number for several travelers?

Hi everybody.
This is my question... We need (in travel expenses) to use any field in order to group (add) several trips made for several travelers (in same dates).
Expl: several travelers made the same trip (with different receipts and costs). We need to create a "supra-level" group (which could help our user to summarize, authorize, etc).
I have made some tests changing the trip number assignment (in trip schema) to external one. The system seems not to have any problem if I assign the same trip number to several travelers (please, could you tell me if this is correct?).
I´m not sure this could be the best solution, because I have one question... If I have travel request and travel expenses... can I assign external range numbers to the travel request? (how can I do it?).
Please, could you tell me something about this? (if this is not correct, could you tell me if it´s possible to create a new field to do this?)

Hi,
As mentionned in an earlier response, you cannot assign the same trip number to multiple employees.
If you are looking to group together similar claims based on the type of travel which was done, you can always use any of the following fields which can be made 'available' on the entry screen. That is the 'Activity Type' or the 'Trip Type Specific' or the 'Trip Type Enterprise'. By creating categories of types of travel, you can then use these values as selection parameters in your reports to isolate specific costs related to specific activities.
For example, you know that many employees will be traveling for a specific conference and you want to be able to report on the total cost of that conference, you could create an Activity Type and ask employees to complete the field with the appropriate value when completing the claim. Then you could create a report on that Activity Type only.
Another option would be to use Internal Orders. Create an internal order, have the employees assign their costs to the IO and then run a CO - IO report.
Depending on how 'permanent' your employee groupings are, you could also use some fields on Infotype 17 to assign different employees to different employee groupings. These employee grouping values are also available as selection parameters in the reports and can allow you to isolate groupings of individuals.
It all depends where you want to create the grouping....

Using one packing instruction for several materials

Dear Friends,
I need some inputs on how to use one packing instruction for several materials.
The scenarion here is :
Many materials are packed in a similar way. If certain materials differ in only one characteristic (for example, construction), having to maintain a packing instruction for each of them results in a considerable time and efforts.
Need some valuable inputs to complete this requirement.

Hi.
Try with reference material for packing (MARA-RMATP). Same material number must be entered on all materials which are packed through same packing instructions.
Then you have to create/use access sequence for determination of packing instructions that contains that characteristic (RMATP).

You could always allocate a number to multiple business accounts in Skype Manager. Then re-direct the number via IP-PBX to go to different extensions.

Do I only need to have one serial number for Design Suite Premium?

Hello,
I just realised the other day that I had no registration details with my serial number on my account. I panicked because I didn't think I would be able to find any of my previous numbers. I have found serial numbers for my CS3 Design Suite Premium as well as the serial number for my CS5. Anyway, I just wanted to check that I don't need any individual serial numbers for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc in order to re-install them onto another computer at a later date. Are they all grouped in the one serial number? I hope so, because I only have the one!

More than one labor working on Machine work center simultaneously.
So that during production orders confirmation in CO11N we need to enter more than one personnel number for the same confirmation but in CO11N the system allow me to enter only one personnel number.
Note: I can not distinguish between the productions for each labor so that I can not enter separate confirmation for each labor.

Creating more than one serial number for a material upon Goods Receipt

I am trying to configure the system to create more than one serial number automatically for a material and have the equipment record created at the same time with the same number as the serial number. For example using MB1C, receiving a material for a quantity of 2, the Maintain Serial number pop up box appears, selecting the 'Create serial number automatically' , I receive an error message ' Number of numbers to be assigned must be 1
    Message no. NR030
Can someone help me with this issue.

I have tried MIGO and get the same error. The Plant data/stor 2. tab of the material master for this particular material is set as follows
                                                                                Serial no. profile   NS01 SerLevel   1 Keep equipment number and serial number synchronous.

I need to find a table that store data for WorkID created from workflow with corresponding employee no. trip id
For example i am using a bapi "SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_DESCRIPTION" in this i put workitem id as 920943 then output from text_line shows result like below as description text

This table hold the work item id. But my question is that is there any any link of this work item id to trip no and employee no. For FM "SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_DESCRIPTION", When i enter work item id it will show output for lext_line as below

ATP - One Checking group for several checking rules (Trans. OPJJ)

In my system, each control group is associated to several checking rules. So, I don't understand how the system choose the right rule to use.
IIs it normal use ? SAP Documentation and forum threads seems to speak always about one checking rule for one checking group.

Just to add to what Prasobh explained on how to use different check rule 01/02 at production order level there are other checking rules that apply to SD module which is more important for defining ATP stratgey for various finished products.
So a simple sales oder for made to stock product may have checking rule A that considers existing unrestricted stock, purchase orders, production orders dates to promise against.
However a MTO sale order for made to order(MTO) product may have a check rule AE that should consider only the relevant production order and /or replenshipment lead time to promise against.
So while checking group set at material master needs many check rules specific to various Sale orders, production orders, plant mainteneance orders, or project orders.

Getting only one spool number for every print out

when i execute my customize program i suppose to get a form in my screen, showing customer statement, when I exicute customer A out put as expected with 5 pages but after that if i exicute customer B which is supposed to be 3 pages but I am getting 8 pages which is including first out put also, its repeating same spool number for every thing and keep on adding every page , please let me know where to see for this ??
