Only the first image of table appears

Hello,
my problem concerns dynamically added images in templates designed with Template Builder 5.6 Build 45 for Word 2002 (10.4219.4219) SP-2 and Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2.
My template includes a simple table with an image field containing an URL. I created a dummy image with alternative text like url:{image_field}. The URL itself exists and works in the browser. Running now the report with example data as XML publisher admin, only the first image appears, followed by all other rows showing the same image. It’s always the first one that is repeated (of course I made sure that each element contains its specific URL). I also tried to use the concatenated string for building the specific URL at runtime, but in vain.
Is there anybody out there with a good idea?

I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm having a similar yet different issue with slideshow images. I have a full screen slideshow on a tablet site with 2 slides in it, but one of them shows up white/blank in preview. I've ensured both images are in the layers and assets and I've deleted the slideshow and started from scratch twice already. What's interesting is that if I move the images' order within the slideshow widget in the layers panel, I can see either one, but not both in rotation in the slideshow. I just did this same slideshow for the mobile version and that works fine, so I'm stumped.

In Photoshop I have a problem to overcome and have delved into the world of scripting..
If there is a quick way to produce the following could someone help me with some pointers?
Here is my situation..
I need to produce a photograph proof card, these are for a double image option so cause me a headache compared to just creating an action..
This proof card really is just a set of two different photographs placed onto a background image.
I would produce two different images of the same person and name them exactly the same except they are suffixed with an A or B to keep them together, these would be in a folder with approx 500 other images for example (250 x two of each person)
My preference for the process would be done in the following sequence:
1/ Open the background file jpg (which is sized at 2400 x 1800 pixels @ 300dpi)
2/ Load the first image from the batch file and place this.
3/ Get the filename of the first image and create it as a text layer and write it below the image at 10 point text size.
4/ Create another copy of this layer and change the font to 3of9barcode font, however the font needs an asterisk before the text then again after it. e.g. *filenameA*
Only the first image has the need for a barcode as they are for the same person. This is at 18 point.
5/ Load the next sequential image from the batch file and place this.
6/ Get the filename for the second image and as Item 3/ create a text layer below at 10 point text size.
7/ Place a png overlay with my copyright information over the images (I need to do this twice, once for each image)
8/ Flatten the images and save the file in a new folder with the same filename as the first image.
I can do this in Lightroom with the exception of putting the barcoded text, and the filenaming, this is because the background image is used as the identity plate and the filename is not based on the data from either photograph..
Can anyone shed some light on where to go from here?

Photoshop Scripting-wise this seems fairly "easy".
But I would recommend creating a template file (that already combines background image, png overlay and the Type Layers).
Maybe data driven graphics would also be an option …

Bridge CS4 has LONG delay in opening the first image

Photoshop CS4 upgrade was my Christmas present this year. I've been fighting this annoying "problem" ever since then...
I DO see this "problem" on my desktop PC, which is a Dell XPS-400 PC (with 2 GB of memory) running Windows XP (Media Center Edition) with SP3 installed. I DO NOT see this "problem" on my laptop, which is a Dell XPS-1530 (4 GB of memory) running Windows Vista SP1. I installed the Photoshop CS4 software exactly the same way on both machines, and I have the preferences set the same in both Photoshop and Bridge (and Camera Raw) on both machines.
Here's the situation: I first open Photoshop CS4 and then click on the Bridge icon in the Application Bar to open Bridge. When I use Bridge to open a photo, by either double-clicking the thumbnail, or right-clicking on the thumbnail and choose "Open" from the context menu, there is a 42 second delay before Photoshop opens the file. This long delay only occurs when opening the very first file.
Once that first image file is opened, double-clicking any thumbnail in Bridge will have it open in Photoshop CS4 in about 2 seconds. There will never be another long delay in having Bridge pass a file to Photoshop (or Camera Raw) again - until I close the applications and restart them. Once I restart the applications, the first photo takes 42 seconds to open....
This delay does not occur in opening the first image file if I right-click on the thumbnail in Bridge CS4 and choose "Open With" and manually choose Photoshop CS4.
Even if that is how I open the first (or several) image file(s), the first time I try to open a file from Bridge by double-clicking on a thumbnail (or right-click on a thumbnail and choose "Open") there will be that annoying 42 second delay before it opens.
It does not matter what the file format the first image file is (JPG, PSD, TIFF, or DNG), or what the file format of any subsequent image file is. As long as I do not close the Bridge and Photoshop applications, any subsequent file will be passed from Bridge to Photoshop in only a couple of seconds.
I have manually set the File Name Extensions in Windows XP, and in the Preferences in Bridge. Both have been set to open the file types listed above with Photoshop CS4.
I have uninstalled CS4, and have used two seperate Registry cleaners (CCleaner and jv16 Power Tools) before re-installing Photoshop CS4. This had no effect on this situation. I've run "chkdsk C: /r" several times, with no problems reported.
I have been searching through these forums for over 2 weeks now, and I have not seen anyone else report such a problem. I use my XP desktop much more than my Vista laptop, so I'd really like to fix this situation, but I don't know what else to try.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I tried them all, but the problem remains exactly as it was. To properly document my efforts:
In Bridge's Preferences, I Purged and Compacted the Bridge Cache, then changed it's location to D:\Bridge_Cache (D:\ is a second physical internal SATA drive).
I can not tell the exact size the Cache is set to, but the slider in Bridge's Preference is very close to the left end (10,000) of the slider.
The Windows Page File is set to 3072 MB min and 4096 max, and it is entirely on the D:\ drive. (I have 2GB of physical RAM in the PC.)
I defragmented the C:\ drive using Diskeeper 2008 Pro Premier, and even ran a Boot Time Defrag.
Rather than set some exclusions for Norton Anti-Virus, I jsut disbled that Virus checking program for all of my experiments.
I deleted the Bridge Preference File by holding down the Ctrl key as Bridge was restarted.
I even deleted the entire contents of the C:\Windows\Prefetch folder. I then rebooted the PC - twice. I then re-disabled Norton Anti-Virus.
The PC is approaching 3 years of age, but it is a 3.2 GHz Pentium D machine with 2 GB of RAM and two internal SATA drives. Every other application that I run on this machine responds reponsively. Again it is only the FIRST image file that I have Bridge hand off to Photoshop (or Camera Raw) that takes forever. The second and subsequent image files take a second or two.... That doesn't sound like it's an "old hardware" problem to me.
I'm willing to try anything else that you, or anyone else would like to suggest.

On my iPad 3, how do I make calendar items lasting more than one day appear as such on the monthly view of my calendar? Right now only the first day of the item appears.

On iPad 3, all of my calendar items lasting more than one day do not appear correctly when looking at the monthly view of the calendar; only the first day of the appointment appears. For example, if I am taking a vacation for 4 days, only the first day of the vacation is marked on the calendar, instead of being listed on all 4 days. When I look at the weekly view, however, it is correct and is listed on all 4 days. The problem here of course is that at a glance, there is no way to look at my monthly schedule. On my iPhone, everything is correct, regardless of month or week view, so clearly this is an iPad problem I guess? Please advise on how this can be corrected. Thank you!

Unfortunately you can't do what you want. Many people have complained to Apple about this. I suggest you provide Apple feedback directly at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html. They will not provide a direct response but hopefully if enough people provide feedback Apple will fix this.

Lately when I do an images search only the first page actually shows the images- the rest show blank squares- why, and how do I fix it?

Over the last week I have noticed more and more that my searches do not show up properly. Today only the first page of images actually show, the rest are blank spaces, but if I click they go to the image site. The rollover does not show either.
What can cause this, and how do I fix it? I have tried various safe settings but this has no eefect at all.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Pages simply won't support a table with that many rows. If you need that many, you must use another application.
Perhaps the originator could use a tabbed list rather than a table. That's the only way you will be able to contain a list that long in Pages. You can do the conversion yourself if you open the Word document in LibreOffice, Copy the Table, Paste the Table into Numbers, Export the Numbers doc to CSV, and import to Pages. In Pages Find and Replace the Commas with Tabs.
There are probably other ways, but that's what comes to mind here.

I have got the same behaviour after the last Safari Update to 5.1.3. It seems that Safari now handles some scripts in a new way. If you debug the Google Website, you will see, that there is some Javascript Error, that seems to prevent to write into local cache. After some searching I wasn't able to finde a solution for this problem, other then disabling Javascript while private browsing to prevent the script loading. You then are able to use Google with the old layout. The option to disable JavaScript can be found in the Menu "Developer", wich has to be enabled in Safari in the options first.
In my opinion this is a bug that is now occuring, because Apple changed something in private browsing and that has to be fixed by Google now, to run again. Or we will have to wait for 5.1.4, as you can read online Apple will change and bugfix the javascript engine in that version, perhaps this fixes the problem as well. I hope so!
If anyone is in the developer program perhaps you could test this with the beta of 5.1.4 and tell us if it works.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I'm using a new Wordpress theme that is meant to be responsive. The large image is for a header, than you scroll down to see the rest, one by one. Some one the pages work OK on my iPad, typically the old ones where the maximum image size was 500 x 500. It's the new pages and those I've updated that are causing the problem. On the iPad the large image loads, then a couple of the small ones become visible as I scroll down, but then darkness (rather like my knowledge level).
Being new to IOS and iPads, I'm trying to work out whether I should be looking here, or amongst the Wordpress stuff for a solution.

af:table, only the first row of the table is effect

Hi experts,
I have an issue about using the <af:table, needs your help:
1.The default selected line is the first line of the table(This should be ok).
2.Only the first line can react to my manipulate, such as select one line and click delete button.
3.While choosing the other line-->click the command button, the page will be refreshed and the selected one will turned to the first line. (Now the selected row, will be the first row). And will do nothing ,and has no action with the command button.

Are you sure? I believe the mail program only previews the first page for you, but sends the whole attachment. Try opening the attachment (e.g., select and hit spacebar for a preview of the whole thing, or by double-clicking it, or control-clicking then "Open...") You should see the whole document.

TestStand database logging problem: only the first character is put in the table.

I am using TestStand 2.0.1 and Microsoft SQL server database. There is a weird problem when I use database logging. At first, all the database logging ran good.
Then one day after I moved the test equipment to production line, TestStand only logs the first character of each string field in the tables! There is no error message.
I setup another SQL server running locally on the same machine as the TestStand is and move the database to the local server, database logging has no problem. Schemas in TestStand Dabasebase Options are the same.
I tried to run TestStand from another computer on the network. There was no problem before, too. But now, TestStand always shows a Run-time error message like this:

Yes, I have a customized schema, but it is based on the pre-existing schema. I tried the schema:TS 1.x Access/SQL (NI), which came with TestStand, the results were the same.
I have tried to run different sequences. On one computer, I always get only the first character of each string entry logged in the remote database, however for the local server, everything is fine. On the other computer, there is no local SQL server, I always get similar error message as I mentioned in my post. The sequence step reports error is "Log Results to Database".
Any more suggestion?

I am trying to print only the first ten records by using <?for-each: <group name>?> and <?end for-each?>. Is there any stop tag that I could use to stop printing after the printing the first ten records without modify the XML data file? I am using XMLP Desktop 5.6.2. Thanks for your help!

You are right kkretser. However, if your report have 2 or more layouts pages. You may want to output the necessary records to each page like the first 10 records to the first page the next the to the second page. Like you said I figure out now that you can use <?if:position()<10?> print out the rows and then on the second page layout, you can do <?if:position()>=10?>. Thanks to all of your replys, guys!

Only the first two episodes showing

When I do a search on my podcast in the iTunes Store, the show comes up fine but only the first two episodes are listed. When I click on the show image and go to the show page only those two show up, all four of the episodes are displayed in the other locations that follow the feed.
Does anyone know why this would happen?

Actually its really strange, the two missing episodes have been up for a while ( the most recent as of 3 days ago, the older about 12 days) and they never showed up. On a whim I decided to try to resubmit my feed address thinking that maybe I had giving it the wrong one by accident and was given the response that the feed was already taken. When I canceled out of it the new episodes showed up in iTunes. I don't know how but this seems to have prompted the system to recheck my feed and recognize that there were new items available.
Anyone know why this might be the case? Also, when I view it from the search panel only the first two episodes appear, when you open it by clicking on the image of out logo it shows all four. Any ideas on that? The podcast is called 3 Wise Woodies if you want to see what I mean about how it displays the episodes.

Why does only the first page of seach results show, with further pages graying out?

In a search, I may get >1,000,000,000 hits, but only the first page is readable. "Next" gives me a grayed out screen and FF freezes. Any of the offered searches at the bottom of that first screen will do the same thing. Repeated hitting "back" will clear it.
This has been true, through all the upgrades, including a backgrade to 3.6 (?) for 64-bit. This makes FF useless as a search platform, though it is my preference, even over Chrome, if it would work.

That does seem rather useless.
Use Automator - it has a "PDF to Images" action that will do exactly what you need. Drop your document into the workflow, drop the "PDF to Images" action in right after that, set any options that you need (like where to save) and then click "run"
Barring that, I've found that sometimes Adobe Reader will sometimes work well for documents that Preview can't print, and I've found some documents that Adobe Reader chokes on but Preview handles flawlessly.
