Opatch Inventory showing 10.2.0.2

Question

Hi All,
For one of my new client Oracle Instance is 10.2.0.4
SQL> select * from v$version;
BANNER

But surprisingly my opatch lsinventory is showing 10.2.0.2

So patch for which version I needs to apply in this instance(whether 10.2.0.2 or 10.2.0.4)

Such out of synch binaries/database version means your database is probably coming from somewhere else. You could check the table DBA_REGISTRY_HISTORY to see all the previous upgrade done onto the db.
You should apply the patch on your Oracle Home binaries only up to the database level, be careful if other databases are managed out of this OH.
