Open the calendar popp to a specific week

Hi everybody,
I want to try something and I dont know how to start or what to modify.
In fact I want to be able to open the calendar for an af:selectInputDate object to a specific week.
I have a selectonechoice with a list of the week number all throughout the year.
Below i have a table listing records for the week selected above.
I have also a create button where ill create a records in the table using a popup .
The popup window have an af:selectInputDate and i want when i click on the date object it open to the week number selected from the main page..
Is there a way to achieve this..

Lutchumaya,
The only way I know of to do this would be to set the value of the selectInputDate to some date in the week you are interested in, but that's probably not what you want to do.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Back up all databefore making any changes.
Step 1
From the Calendar menu bar, select
Calendar ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts
Choose the affected account from the list on the left and uncheck the box marked
Enable this account
Then check the box again. Test.
Step 2
Make a note of the account settings, then delete the account and add it back with the same settings.
Step 3
If you can't add the account, the settings may be invalid. Verify them. How you do that depends on what kind of account it is. If it's a Google calendar and you've activated 2-step verification, you need to generate an application-specific password in your Google account and enter it in place of your old password.
Step 4
Quit Calendar. Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Calendars/Calendar Cache
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a file named "Calendar Cache" selected.
Move the selected file to the Trash. There may be one or two other files in the same folder with names that begin in "Calendar Cache". If so, delete those files too.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

I too am having the same issue only I am in Regina, Canada. iCloud appears to think Regina, Canada is in the Central time zone which it is, but it does not use Daylight Savings time. My PC is Windows 7 and I am using Outlook 2010. I have iCloud on iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Terribly frustrating!

Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

Is it possible that i can view important dates of the calendar without opening the calendar.?

ADDING WEEK NUMBERS IN THE CALENDAR OF IPHONE

haven't found option of adding week numbers on my iphone 3gs calendar. in working life week numbers are pretty important and would need the option on daily basis. i syncronise my calendar from office outlook / exchange. office supports the feature, but week numbers dont follow.
any ideas anyone?!

I use Google calendar and sync it to my iPhone calendar over the air via Google Sync. There are a number of "gadgets" or sub-calendars you can add to your Google calendar (i.e. Moon phases, contacts birthdays, etc.) that will sync over to iPhone. I searched for week numbers and sure enough there is a "gadget" that will add this functionality with an option of weeks starting on Sundays or Mondays. Though I've never used them, I now have week numbers on my iPhone calendar.
You would have to set up a free gmail account to create a google calendar but you wouldn't need to use it (mail or calendar) except to sync week numbers if you don't want to. If you want to go through the (relatively) small amount of trouble to do this just start a gmail account and then follow these instructions: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=138740&topic=14252
Except of course you will only turn on calendar. Then (on your MAC) go to your gmail and click on 'calendar' in the upper left. From there click on 'settings' in the upper right, then on the 'labs' tab. Enable the option to 'Add any gadget by URL.' I apologize if these directions are not clear enough or too wordy. I tried to describe it for someone without much experience with this stuff (meaning myself). It may seem like a lot of trouble, but if you really want week numbers you can do it!

I open a calendar on a vendor website and when i try to change the date Firefox crashes.

I use a vendor's website to change retails on products that I sell. The default date for the changes is the next day. I can make the changes happen on a future date. When I open the calendar to change the date, Firefox immediately crashes when I click on a future date.

i have had a similar issue that u r describing with my ipad, but wirh a slight variation. my calendar is working fone, but if i try to use the search function, my calendar completely freezes, and the only way i have been able to resolve this is to go into my settinsgs tab, then go to set the date, and set the date to a prior date. for example, i was stuck on jan 7th 2014, and when i changed the date to a date in 2011, the calendar unfroze and allowed me to jump to any date i wanted. i was then able to go into the settings tab and enter and set my ipad to the correct date. there seems to be a defect on the ios i am using, 4.xx, with using the search function in the upper right hand corner. the only way to prevent this is to refrain from using the search function within the calendar.

Can't open the outlook calendar

Windows8.1, Outlook2013, Exchange 2013, online mode
Suddenly Outlook faces the issue which can't open the calendar, when click schedule butten, Outlook is closed forcely.
It's coming from calendar folder bigger size, there's no way to reduce items in that way

Hello,
Sometimes these types of issues prompt in Outlook. Try and open Outlook with the command “cleanviews”. And to do so, Open “Search” box and type “Outlook.exe /cleanviews” .
Or clear the forms cache. To clear the form cache in Outlook,
Make a Right click on the folder with issue>>Properties>>tab forms>>button manage>>Clear Cache.

How to allow users to pick up a specific week for a report based on SSAS Cube

hi Folks:
I have created a report which is pretty simple: for a specific week, I want to know the total values. This specific week comes from a Fiscal Calendar hierarchy ( Year - Quarter - Month - Week) .
Now, I want to create a parameter called @specificWeek to this cube based report so that users could pick any week they want ( no multiple values allowed). I understand that I need to create a parameter @specificWeek and created a dataset to
populate .
After that, find a way to embed this paramenter into the main MDX query .
Can someone show me how to do this?
Below is the sample from cube Adventure Works, I want to make the Hierarchy Date.FisCal Weeks as the parameter,
how to implement? thanks

I've done the following steps
1. In shared datasets, drag all fields I need in and drag the data hierarchy into the filter and check it as a parameter.
2. On the reportData pane, when I right click the datasets, I did not see any option says show hidden dataset.
3. WHen I run the report, it did not pop up the dropdown list for the week selection.

Shared calendars are working, but have suddenly started prompting for login info of user who shared the calendar

My boss started having this problem this morning. It may possibly be due to an update. The calendars appear to still be working fine (not 100% sure they're
getting new updates) and I've tried deleting them and re-adding them and the problem persists. Outlook will pop up the Security prompt asking for login credentials, with the username of the person whose calendar is shared pre-filled in the user name section.
If you click cancel everything continues to work but it prompts you again in a few minutes.
These calendars have previously worked perfectly with no issues.

Please confirm if there is any changes in Shared calendar account and your boss mailbox.
Since the issue occurs after the update in your Boss's computer, please reboot the local machine. And recreate the Outlook profile to have a try. About opening shared calendar in new profile, please open the shared calendar by the following steps:
1. Switch to Calendar pane.
2. Click Open Calendar > Open Shared Calendar.
3. Click Name to select the user who shared the calendar to this user.
4. Then click OK to open the Calendar.
Check whether there is any error when open it. If there is any permission error, please check the folder permission in shared user side.

The calendar app doesn't display calendar

The calendar app on my macbook pro used to open to a calendar when I clicked on the icon. Suddenly, today no calendar appears when i click on the icon. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
Then open the Calendars Folder which is in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.
Next open the Preferences Folder in that same Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
Log out/in or restart and open Calendar.

Any way to refresh the calendar?

iPhone 3G with MS Exchange Email, Contacts & Calendars set to manual fetch ...
In my mail Inbox, I can press the refresh button in the lower left to update the Inbox. Is there any way to do this in Calendar (other than changing my Fetch settings) or do I just have to open the Calendar app and wait for it to update? TIA.

You just need to exit then re-open the calendar app. With Push set to OFF and Fetch set to Manual, launching the app is what triggers a connection to the server. Mail is the only app with a 'check now' button.

Actual date doesn't mtach the calendar display on my iphone

I am currently traveling, and I noticed, that my phone had the wrong time listed in the diplay. I went to "General Setting" amd manually changed the time and went to change the date and noticed I had an issue. When I open the calendar, it may say "May 8, 2008" but the actual calendar display is "April 8, 2008" All the days of the month line up correctly,and if I click on an event, it display the corret date information, but the calendar heading is April 2008. Also, I have noticed that all my event times are also now incorrect. Any clue what is going on and how to fix it?

I am in the same timezone as the country where I live. I have gone on my phone and played with all the different setting. It is so bizarre--- my calendar displaysal the correct days for the month of may and says it is May when I lick an event, but the heading at the top say April. I return to the states tomorrow, so I am hping this is corrected when I get back on my regular ATT network.
