Openining multiple web pages

Hi
When i run my report thru WAD development server, some 100's of web pages are getting openend. I had to close the session and restart again.
BUT
When i run the report thru WAD in QA and PRD they run fine. IS there any setting we need to do in DEV server for WAD. Its only problme in my system. In other systems it runs fine.
I know its a system issue, Did anyone had this issue earlier?
Thanks
Annie

  • Multiple web-pages open each time I log onto Safari.

Hi, I have mac os x lion and whenever I log onto Safari multiple web-pages open from last time Safari was used. Does anyone know how can I change this so it only opens one web-page whenever I log on.?

This behavior is new in Lion.
    You have a few choices.
Close all windows/tabs before quitting Safari.
Or (what is essentially the same thing):
When quitting Safari, hold the option key down.
    Or:
When launching Safari from the dock, hold the shift key down.
Or, to disable this behavior permanently for all applications, there is a checkbox in System Preferences, General.

  • Opening multiple web pages at once

When I used to use a PC, I could open several web pages at the same time without closing out of any of them - this was a new feature on Internet Explorer introduced within the past year. I can't figure out how to do this on my new MacBook. Even if I open a new desktop and launch Safari, it still comes up to the page that I had open in the other desktop. Please help. Thanks.

    Hi,
do you mean Tabbed Browsing ?
    Using Tabbed Browsing
With tabbed browsing in Safari, you can open and switch between multiple web pages in a single window. Drag and drop your tabs to rearrange them, open one in a new browser window, or merge all your current windows into one tabbed window. Safari resizes each tab depending on the number you have open. You can even bookmark a set of tabs or revert to the tabs that were open when you last closed or quit Safari.
To use tabs, instead of opening a new browser window to display another webpage without losing your current one, Command-click a link to open the page in a new tab. You can switch back and forth between tabs by simply clicking the tabs.
If you want to create a new tab to enter a URL, choose New Tab from the File menu (or press Command-T), then type a URL or select a bookmark.
    (Taken from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2521?viewlocale=en_US )
And btw, Internet Explorer did not 'invent' Tabbed Browsing
" Opera was the first tabbed browsing interface, followed later by NetCaptor, later by IBrowse in 1999, then , Mozilla in 2001, Konqueror in 2003, and Safari in 2003.
It allowed users to utilize the time between the complete opening of two or more different web pages. Later, Internet Explorer also included this feature."

  • Multiple web pages being openned

I have created a web action whereby if I right click some text I can go a certain web application. That is working fine but when I go back to my text document and highlight some more text and I want to go back to the same web page firefox 5.0.1 then opens a new web page. So I now have two web pages of the same address open at the same time. I would like to keep one page open and keep going back to this page instead of opening new pages. regards Andrew

    Try emptying the cache...
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Empty Cache
If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
    Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the trash.

  • Cannot get multiple tabs with multiple web pages

Hi, My plain vanilla firefox browser in Win 8 has stopped giving me multiple tabs when I access more than 1 web url. Before say I access 5 sites, then for each site I get 5 tabs so I can easily switch between web pages. Now they all appear under 1 tab only. Ticking the box in Tools/Options/Tabs/open new window in a new tab instead, doesn't work...very frustrating....any ideas? Many thanks

I'm not sure I understand the change, so let me mention a few things and you can reply with comments and clarifications.
How are you directing links to new tabs: do you use one of these methods?
    * right-click > Open Link in New Tab
    * Ctrl+left-click
    * middle-click (using a mouse scroll wheel)
    Other issues:
    * Is Firefox's tab bar not showing or behaving strangely? (Please describe in more details if applicable.)
    * If the problem is that the Windows Task Bar is not working the way it used to, check the ''last'' setting on the Tabs panel of the Options dialog: "Show tab previews in the Windows Taskbar" to see whether that is what got turned off.
    * If the problem is that Google results used to automatically open in a new tab but now they open in the same tab, you need to select "new window" in Google search preferences: https://www.google.com/preferences

  • Can multiple web pages use the same cookie?

I have an applet that will reside in several different web pages. The applet creates a cookie that saves user preferences and loads them when the user next uses the applet. The problem is that I want the same cookie to load when the user views the same applet at a different IP Address. Is this possible? If so, how? I am currently using the netscape JSObject stuff to write and read my cookie.
    Thanks,
    Derek

Sorry, you cannot access cookie across domains.
If being able to access same cookie from different pages in the same domain satisfies you need, read on.
Let's suppose you have two html files kept on your server as follow::
    MyHTML/main.html
    MyHTML/subDir/A.html
Now, let say that when you save the cookie, the path is not specified. A.html will not be able to access the cookie set by main.html. However, if you specified PATH=/ (along with other values and expiry date-and-time), both html files will be able to access the same cookie via the document.getMember method.
This is more of a JavaScript question than a Java question and you might want to pay a visit to the link below:
    http://forums.internet.com/WebX?[email protected]^[email protected]
you can go to the bottom of that page, click search and type in cookie and you'll see a lot of Q&A on the topic.
    Good Luck

  • Multiple web pages in Lightroom 3

Basically am i missing something really obvious here?
I want to put togeather using the Lightroom web facility a small image based website with the maximum of five pages - is this possible? I see that it's easy enough with two (one page of the image slideshow and one page of the "about these photos") but as to adding more pages and then editing them? I want to preferably sub divide the images into groups og about 6 -10 images per page and maybe add a bit of text but this aspect isn't important. Any help would be greatly appreciated if only to put me out of my misery?

  • Can I save multiple web pages for offline viewing?

I'm just about to head off on a big trip and there's a great travel website that I'd like to save.
I dimly remember in the early 2000s it was possible to save an offline version of a webpage and specify how many depths of links also to save, i.e. you could save a page, all the linked pages on that page, all the linked pages on those linked pages and so on.
I'd really like to do that so I can access this website and one layer of (internal) links for offline viewing.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10 (but can access a MB Air with 10.9.x if need be).
    Any help appreciated!

try the newer version, since the 10.6 one at least doesn't handle depth (limits : levels in the preferences) very sensibly for saving webpages.

  • Cisco 5508 HA - Webauth Bundle for multiple SSID/multiple web pages

    Hi Guys,
I have 2* cisco 5508 WLC in HA mode . Both are running IOS 7.5.102.0 . Everything is working perfectly fine.
I need to Creat 3 differnet SSID and Creat 3 different login Pages for them . Each user from respective SSID will get specified login Page. like
    I have few questions :
    1) I have downloaded webauth bundle from cisco Support Site and in that itself so many files are there. So based on my scenario , in which folder do i need to copy my login and logo file.
    2) i have used Picozip to convert the file in .tar format but its giving me following error "
% Error: Webauth Bundle file transfer failed - No reply from the TFTP serve" but i can ping my tftp server easliy.
    3) As Controllers are in HA mode , so once i am successful in uploading webauth bundle then it will be replicated on secondary controller or do i have to turn off SSO and upload in both one by one.
Please help me out in this.
    Cheers

    Hello Sandeep,
i have uploaded the tar which you have sent to me. When i supply my username and pwd, after that it keeps on going and not showing any end result. so it stays on same page and nothing happening after that.

  • How can one specify that multiple windows open (each with its own web page(s) ) when Firefox starts?

I am on Firefox 15.0. I would prefer not to open multiple tabs to get multiple web sites up when Firefox is started. Instead, I prefer multiple windows. Some might have one tab, some might have several. For example, one window might have Gmail, another might have several different web pages related to weather, and another might simply have Google, and another Yahoo, and another, Orbitz. Since there may be five or six of these windows, with multiple web pages, perhaps 20 in toal, tabs get cluttered, and I don't prefer them anyway. I have plenty of memory and processing power.
Interestingly enough, if Firefox crashes, it allows you to restart with the pages it thinks you would want. It would be great to have a Start Firefox option similar to that!

You can reopen the windows and tabs from the previous session.
You can also use command line switches with a bash script or a modified Firefox desktop shortcut ant use -new-window -url <URL> to open a page in a new window.
    <pre><nowiki><path to firefox>/firefox -new-window -url <URL1> -new-window -url <URL2>
    </nowiki></pre>

  • How can i set up multiple default web pages in one window

I want multiple web pages in one window i.e for example google.com and yahoo.com should open in one window, showing their respective home pages in one window in a rectangular box(in my words).

I presume this is to open multiple home pages, when FireFox launches. This will open one tab per URL, on one browser. To do so...
Go to 'tools' > 'options' > type your URL as such: http://www.google.com|https://www.yahoo.com.
There should be a vertical bar (shift backslash key), between each URL typed.
