Option missing in edit-preferences

I have downloaded the trial version. The help menu said that the import panel in edit-preference-convert to pdf-edit setting, may included 13 options. In my trial version, i only have 6 options. Is this normal? I needed to have the ''Import external references'' option.

What file type are attempting to convert? I only see the "Import External References" option available with the MicroStation CAD Graphic format.

"Attachment" option missing from edit window

I recently finally made the upgrade to Snow Leopard. Now the "attachment" option is missing in iCal?? I still have the "url" link option within the edit window, but the "attachment" line is no longer there. Prior to the upgrade, I was able to add both a url link AND a file attachment to an iCal event.
Did something go wrong during the upgrade or is this simply the "new & improved" iCal?

Thanks John. I did ALSO make the upgrade switch to the new MobileMe version at the same time as well. So your link provides my answer.
That blows that they removed the attachment option -- why would they take away such a simple, but VERY useful, feature as part of an upgrade (i.e. improved version) ?!?!

Network option missing in system preferences

I have .mac and the sharing options in the system preferences window but no network option. Also when I select "open network preferences" on my airport list it doesn't open anything. I may of deleted the option but I am unsure. Can anyone help me out? I am not using time machine yet I need to get a external hard drive before I can lol

When you open the Network dialog, be sure Airport is turned on and check Ask to join new networks.
Also check "Show Airport status in menu bar" for convenience.
If you click A"Advanced" you should see your list of Preferred Networks unless you lost them.
Be sure under the TCP/IP tab you have selected "Using DHCP" and nothing else.
If your Airport system is encrypted, you either need the password and encryption type/level or you can turn off the encryption as a test (but don't leave it off).

"next" option missing when editing songs

When editing songs I've added from other sources or things I ripped years go, I used to have the option to edit one song, then press "Next" and that would allow me to edit the next song in the album, or list I was working on. In iTunes 11, the option seems to be missing. I now have to edit a song, press "OK", then click on the next track and select "Get Info". Is there a way to re-enable this option? Making managing my library very tedious.

Try editing in song view. It works as before but does not work in album view.

Built-in microphone option missing from Sound Preferences

I am attempting to use Skype, but people on the other end cannot hear me. I go to my Imac Preferences and choose Sound and then Input. There is no option for me to choose the internal built-in microphone. It was there in the past, but it is not there now. Any suggestions?

In iTunes on my windows 7 PC, the Edit/Preferences dropdown window,some of the tab windows are not large enough to see all options that are available. The borders of the window cannot be draged larger. As a result, I can not uncheck or check some box's.

How can I access the Edit preferences performance use Graphics Processor option through the jsx scri

I want to runa a script with and without GPU options. I made an actionto click on the Edit>Preferences>Performace>use graphics processor checkbox. But now I want to check wether the checkbox is ticked or not to determine i should use it for a with GPU run or without GPU run. I cant seem to find the prefernce/property/object name to access this selection in the photoshop scripting library. Can someone help me here?

I did not see anything in the Object Viewer for preference open GL, performance or GPU so I do not think there is a DOM method available to retrieve or set it. You can set it using the action manager using scriptlistener code.

Every user user should access internet only via proxy settings what i should do for that and also should not be allowed to change the option

Hi I need to check and access the Edit>preferences>performance>use Graphics Processor option setting through the script. i cant find it in the object domain, I have the following to check the current state:

If you load the scriptlisener plug-in when you set your preference to enable your GPU it will record the code you need. The Code I posted to your thread in the scripting forum the other day.

Grad Filter Edit option missing (3.5?)

After Loading the 3.5 RC I noticed when I use Grad Filters I do not see any of the guide lines or selection dots anymore.
It lets me apply a Grad Filter and I see the effect, but once I move out of the that specific filter I cannot go back and select it to edit or delete. I can remove it by resetting all Grads.
I noticed this after loading 3.5, but I'm hoping it is something else since I haven't seen anyone else bring this up.
Any ideas?

Preferences option missing

Hey. I just got a new Macbook Pro Retina.
I went from a Windows PC to a Mac, and everything is working fine except for the fact that my preferences option in After Effects is not showing. It used to show up under Edit>Preferences on my previous PC but I can't seem to find it at all now.
Does anyone know why this is?

Print Comments Option Missing in Adobe Reader 9.4.0

Using a PDF I downloaded online, I inserted comments using both Adobe Acrobat Pro and Nuance PDF Converter Pro.
In both the Acrobat and Nuance applications I can print the PDF with the comments just fine.
When I opened the document in Adobe Reader 9.4.0 it would not print the comments by default.
I hunted around the File > Print & Edit > Preferences dialog boxes but found no such option in Reader 9.4. It either does not exist, or I'm not looking in the proper place(s).
I opened the same document in Adobe Reader X and I did have the option to print the comments as outlined in the instructions here (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/897/cpsid_89733.html).
On that same page however it says a comment printing options should be on both the Edit > Preferences and File > Print dialog boxed in Reader 9 but it is not. The instructions above appear to be inaccurate.
I've tested this on multiple systems (same base OS & configuration) but the problem persists: How does one print comments in Adobe Reader 9.4.0? (Upgrading is not an option at this time.)

The repair didn't appear to do the trick. The Comments option under Edit > Preferences is still missing and even with the Document and Markup option still selected, it doesn't actually print comments.I took it a step further & removed it completely then re-installed it but that didn't help.
I am part of the IT organization . So you're suggesting (or saying) there's a certain Adobe Reader 9.4 update that introduces this feature? If so, do we know which specific update? Is there a KB article, release note or change log that that covers/discusses this?

Update Camera Raw.
Uninstall Codecs and Quick time.
