I have 2 years of domain experience and i took training of oracle apps functional financial R12 , now i am planning to search for a job in oracle apps, but i am very much confusion with ressume preparation. can anyone help me out with this, and if possible can anyone let me know which is the best way to get a good job.

Oracle Apps.XML reports ending with warning when the report output contains

Hi I have XML reports. When we run these reports as concurrent program through Oracle Apps. window and if the report output contains special characters(like Chineese data) in between of English, then the concurrent program is ending with warning. If we remove special characters then it is working fine or when we run the report query directly from backend it is working fine.
We are importing this data from legacy system into oracle apps. and we can't control these characters or decode them with some other charactes.
Can any one guide me how to get the XML report output with special characters.

Hi Hussein,
The concurrent program is ending with Warning. It is unable to publish output file.
For the same when we remove special characters and run the program it is completing and generating the
output. The log fine is as follows when the data file contains special characters.

Installation of Oracle Apps 11i Realese 5 with 11.5.6 Family Pack

I am having problem starting the installation of this program.......Oracle Apps 11i Realese 5. I have Windows 2000 and would like to do CD installation rather than Stage installation.
I have downloaded and ran the JDK-1_1_8_009-Win. Here are the steps taken: I inserted the Red CD "Start Here" in my CD-ROM, opened the DOS prompt, and changed the C:> prompt to E:> prompt which is my CD-ROM drive, I then typed E:>cd rapidwiz....Enter, this opens E:\rapidwiz>, I then typed rapidwiz.cmd which was supposed to open my Oracle Universal Installer, butI got: E:\rapidwiz>start.\bin\launch.exe.RapidWiz.cL
E:\rapidwiz>
What do I do from here, do I insert the Disk 1 or what, because I have 14 CD's to be installed.

certain trigger in your form is throwing an exception and its not being catched by the exception part for your block. check the code of your trigger and pur exception handling into your trigger code

right now i am facing this below mentioned problem.

1). If a posted transaction in oracle financials is modified on higher level, what is the option to control.
2). Is it possible to control a transaction modication on user group level or for user level.
3). If want to enable this, from which option we can do this, pl give screen shot to do this.

we can only reverse any posted transaction, to make changes in posted transaction is not possible using screen.
to control specific functionality , you can control for functional security feature, hope this will help, thanks

If your domain name has two characters, then you may run into the Microsoft IE 6 bug "Internet Explorer Does Not Set a Cookie for Two-Letter Domains" described in Microsoft article Q310676. The fix for this issue is described in the Microsoft article.
