Oracle net manager is not listed....

Hi People,
Have a small problem with the installation of oracle client, for some reason oracle net manager is not installed or at least not listed in start menu programs. Does any one have an idea how to access this tool if it is not listed in the start menu? (I am pretty sure it was installed when I was running the oracle 10g client on windows Xp)

XE is designed with the intention that it is the only Oracle database on the machine and therefore does not need a NetMgr or NetCA.
OEM is not included, nor can it be fully used because of it's use of Java Stored Procs and Perl. (Some OEM functionality DOES work, but it's not complete.)
Instead, APEX 2.1 provides the related functionality.

The Application Manager does not list Light Room 5 as a program to download? I have downloaded Lightroom Version 4 in the past.
Application Manager Version 7.0.0.324

I had the same issue yesterday on OSX Lion.
I manually downloaded another copy of AAM and LR5 appeared.

Oracle Net manager error

Aloha!
I have just created a database instance on oracle 11g R2. When i tried to create a connection to that said instance on net manager from a certain client machine
i'm prompted with this error:
ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
but on the server itself i can access the instance through SQLplus as sysdba.

ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
Cause: The listener received a request to establish a connection to a database or other service. The connect descriptor received by the listener specified a service name for a service (usually a database service) that either has not yet dynamically registered with the listener or has not been statically configured for the listener. This may be a temporary condition such as after the listener has started, but before the database instance has registered with the listener.
Action:
- Wait a moment and try to connect a second time.
- Check which services are currently known by the listener by executing: lsnrctl services <listener name>
- Check that the SERVICE_NAME parameter in the connect descriptor of the net service name used specifies a service known by the listener.
- If an easy connect naming connect identifier was used, check that the service name specified is a service known by the listener.
- Check for an event in the listener.log file.

How can I define the odbc connection - host/access right, in oracle 10g?
Like as in oracle 9i, it have orahome to set the odbc connection.. and then setting the net manager
So how can I do the same way, to connect to oracle server via windows?

Oracle Wallet Manager will not start with GLIBC_2.0 error

I have cloned my 11.5.10.2 system from RHEL4 to the new RHEL5 server.
configured all started non-ssl, configuring ssl and the IAS_ORACLE_HOME cert works fine, but when I try to start wallet manager I get the error

I have been through most every metalink article and none seem to apply.
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is unset
OA_JRE_TOP, AF_JRE_TOP, AFJVAPRG all point to /user/java/jdk1.6._20 etc as they should
I also have an iAS 10g server on the same machine and OWM starts fine when I am that user (it was installed new not cloned)
I assume I am missing a link somewhere but I can't seem to figure out where, anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

Does rapidclone now execute the scripts identified in MOS Doc 356878.1 automatically ? It did not used to perform an automatic relink.Rapid Clone always relink the database executable files automatically.

Hyper-V Management Tools not listed as an Addable Feature - Windows Server Essentials 2012

I want to run Hyper-V manager on a virtual machine running Windows 2012 Server essentials.
I've seen videos of others using the Server Manager to add this feature to their Windows 2012 Servers, but when I follow their steps, I'm missing the selectable entry (that they are choosing) that would allow me to add this feature to my virtual
server.
I only need the Hyper-V manager tools (not the service), but these aren't listed features for me to add.

This is apparently by design. The
Hyper-V Management Role is not available on Server 2012 Essentials.
The Hyper-V Management Role is available on Server 2012 Standard, or Windows 8, however.
Given that, my advice would be to either stand up a Server 2012 Standard box and install that role, or a Windows 8 workstation, if licensing costs are a factor. The Windows

Oracle Enterprise Manager does not displaying images

Hi folks, I installed Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.0 and after that I did apllied patch 10.1.3.4. The patch was applied successfully, but when I invoke Enterprise Manager all images does not rendered. After analisying I could see that "ascontrol" application has two virtual-path pointing two real-path but it does not exists into file system. Enterprise MAnager console does not load CSS file and images because it.
I download OC4J 10.1.3.4 standalone version and after configuration I access Enterprise Manager via browser, but OC4J standalone works fine.
Anyone can help me ???

Oracle Enterprise Manager is not coming up. (Urgent )

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle Weblogic 10.3.5 and Oracle SOA 11.1.1.5 and OSB 11.1.1.5 in Production Mode.
Now i have started all the servers and they are up and running but i cannot open em , and in admin console -->Deployments --> em is in failed state if i try to start the services it is errored out with Null Pointer Exception

AD security groups listed in user groups in Config Manager however not listed when selecting values for the "System Resource - System Group Name" query

Morning All,
We are in the process of setting up our SCCM 2012 infrastructure and are experiencing issues with our device collection querys based on AD security groups.
I can see the security groups are being updated per adsgdis.log - i can see the computers that are members of the groups in AD are being recorded in the same log. Issue is when we build the device collection query - click the value button for the string,
only 2 of the 18 AD security groups are displayed. These are 2 AD groups we setup initially to test.
We have since added several additional yet they only appear to populate as user groups in config manager.
The same goes for additional OUs that we have created with AD.
When i click the value button only the initial 10 OUs that were created are populating in the list of applicable OUs.
We have the discovery methods Group Discovery & System Discovery enabled and set to search the parent OU recursively
I'm wondering if there might be an SQL issue with this as it initially worked but stopped...
Additionally we added an OU recently that now appears in in the Values options in the query but the ones added previously and additionally after are not showing up....
Any help is appreciated.

I did find some log entries that reference permission issues with objects in the SQL database and have opened a case with MS to get that looked into. Hopefully that will be where the issue lies.

Oracle Net config assistant not opening on windows.

Hi,
I installed Oracle 9i server on a windows XP machine on Friday, 2nd December. I configured the listener service, netconfig name and my application was up and running.
Today I wanted to make some changes in the listener service; but the net config assistant window is not coming up. New processes launch.exe and jrew.exe are starting in the background with each attempt to launch.
I made sure I am logged in as the same user which installed Oracle on the machine(having ORA_DBA privilages), gave the full control privilages to this user. But the net config assistant is still not opening up.
Could anyone help in this regard.

Help needed to Adobe extension manager cs6 to show all my cs6 products
I downloaded Extension manager from here Adobe - Exchange : Download the Adobe Extension Manager
My Computer windows xp 32bit
My Photosop version cs6
My Dreamweaver version cs6
I installed photoshop here : C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6
and my XManConfigfile

Oracle Enterrize Manager is not showing login page?

Hi,
I am trying to open "http://XXX:5501/em"
Then it is directed to "http://tdm:5501/em/console/database/instance/repDown".
And it is showing two options , One is Startup and other one is Perform Recovery.
And it is showing the following info.
"The database status is currently unavailable. It is possible that the database is in mount or nomount state. Click 'Startup' to obtain the current status and open the database. If the database cannot be opened, click 'Perform Recovery' to perform an appropriate recovery operation."
But the database is mounted. Eveny I am able to query database. But still it is not showing the login page.
