Yes they just copy to the next page, the fields are the same. The document is an observation to school lessons so it needs to be consistent but with different data on.

In most cases, you can't use a Debit card anymore. So, either redeem an iTunes gift card or use a credit card.

Oracle Designer Problem Please help me

2) Run>cd d:\Oracle_home\repadm61\admin\@ckqa

@ ckcreate
3)Opened Repository Administration Utility
Log in as 'repos_manager/repos_manager@orcltest'
Installed Repository.
4) Opened Oracle 9i Designer. I am able to connect
as 'repos_manager/repos_manager@orcltest'
But I am not able to logon as any other user in same database/ any other user in different database. Why?
Please help me.

Try the Boot Camp Assistant when you are in OS X and download those and follow the directions in BCA utility.
Then look up the Boot Camp forum. I suspect you thought this was MBP related forum, it is for 65 lb tower model (and well the new "nMP Late 2013 Mac Pro" http://www.apple.com/support/macpro/

Thank you for using Firefox Sync. Without a recovery key, I am sorry you cannot recover right away. I know at the top of my head that it is possible to move the account to the new Firefox sync. [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync How to set up the new sync]
However this is currently not available in version 28, but version 29 (Beta and Aurora) On those versions you can go to about:accounts and select I already have an account. It *as far as I know* does not require a recovery key.
Once you have it set up, make a copy of the profile folder. you can copy it to the new installation of version 28 if that is the version you wish to continue using.

I have been trying to run my java code using XSQLRequest from inside the stored procedure for past couple of days and i have had a couple of queries which were answered successfully.Thanks for that.
But so far i have not been able to execute the code from inside the stored procedure which works fine if executed from commandline or thro a normal java application.
It is always some problem or other and since there is no one except for this forum I end up submitting my queries in here.
IS there any way i can get in touch with someone from ur side and may be figure out if i can do the way i 'm doing right now or i'm just wasting my time for nothing.I'm already done with the project schedule so i have to answer my PL.
I have loaded the oraclexsql.jar file and the corresponding parserv2.jar and oraclexmlsql.jar file in my database.
and i did load the XSQLConfig.xml file in the database file as well n which i'm using oracle:jdbc:thin:@10.0.0.70:1521:xdp as my <dburl>.
now when i try to call the stored procedure i get the following error:

XSQL-007: Cannot acquire a database connection to process page.
No suitable driver.
I did find that inorder to make the database connection from inside the stored procedure we have to use jdbc.oracle.kprb driver
and that thin and oci are not supported.
Does this mean i have to specify the same in my <dburl> for the config file.
I infact did try to use this but it wont work and i got the same error.
Can u please help me with this.
This is extremely important for me that i come to a conclusion.

I am new to ADF development and it is just amazing. I have programmed a little with Oracle Forms and I was impressed with its RAD capabilites and its ease of development. ADF seems to be doing the same. I am very impressed with its very forms like capability.
I would like to get more information on developing applications using ADF. My understanding is that the business layer can be developed using ADF BC, JPA/EJB, Toplink, Web service. Also, data control creation from the model layer give us the ability to bind the model layer to the UI layer. Here are my questions
a) Is my above assumption correct?
b) If so, what other options do I have for business layer? Can I just use a simple java class which uses JDBC as my business layer. If yes, can this be exposed as a data control?
c) What is the preferred method for developing business layer and what are some of the benefits/drawbacks of one over the other? For example, I looked at list of values (including cascading LOV's) which is really amazing. Can this be accomplished declaratively without using ADFBC? I would like to get as much information as possible on this so that a right choice can be made for the business layer.
d) Can I use just JSP, Swing, JSF (Not the ADF versions) to talk to different business layers implemented by ADF. If yes, can we do this with or without the binding layer/data control?
e) Can I use ADF version of UI (ADF Faces, ADF Swing) to connect with non ADF business layer such as a third party JPA/EJB implementation?
I have read a lot of documentation but I was unable to get answers to the above questions. Please help.

No. ADF BC is the most declarative development environment to define the business service. Though JPA and TopLink too are configured declaratively, they do not have model driven LOV
If your background is Forms then the natural choice for you is ADF BC.

Hi, yes you can. If you don't want to use the ADF binding layer and the ADF datacontrol then however you will have to hand-code the lookup, which in this case appears of the same complexity for EJB, TopLink and ADF BC

ADF Faces, yes. ADF Swing no.

Malin,
when you install iAS, there is a directory
oracle_home\portal30\images where all the image files are stored.
for example, in my installation is:
D:\oracle\iSuites\portal30\images
one of the files is logo.gif, just overwrite that file with your own file (but keep the same name) and then your own logo or whatever you want will show up in the Portal.
pls note that there are different image files you may want to replace.

I ran into problems right before I reach the Installation Options Screen
The error message is:
Unable to establish a network connection to proxy server. Specify the correct proxy details.
I have tried entering the correct Proxy server information but it gives me the same error.

Oracle report parameters- please help

iam working on reports 2.5 and oracle DB7.3.
In a report parameter in order to retrive the parameters i gave
a query as
select docno from docket where status='A'
for some period it has worked well.
may be as the number of transactions have increased the report
parameter form is not gettign loaded and when i click the report
it gives me r25srv error.
i could get rid of this error by restricting the parameters
pertaining only to 2001 documents.
the report is working but i have limited the trasactions here
and the problem has been solved temporarily.
my question is
1) does the parameter field takes limited no of transactions.?
if so what is limit to the parmeters.
this i am asking the reason is i found some docnos got displayed
latter i could view only junck characters in the parameter drop
down list. This could view only once.all the time it gives
r25srv error
2) how can i retrive all the docnos in the parameter other than
the above query.

here i donot find necessity of using Distinct and groupby clause.
as the docnos are unique in the table i was referring,further
iam not using any function so as to use groupby clause.
Ofcourse i will try with LOV by calling reports from forms.
This particular table contains 12000 records ,each record has 1
doc no assigned to it.That means i want all the 12000 docs to be
viewed in the parameter so that i can select one doc no to view
that particular report.

O/s is Solaris........O/s supports Arabic....
NLS_LANG is set to "ARABIC_EGYPT.AR8ISO8859P6"
In place of arabic content its showing Junk characters..... In win2k Its working fine........ I have checked my uifont.ali I am giving my PDF section details..

Hi Sharat
I see that you have two entries for helvetica font in your uifont.ali. Be aware that order of precedence is alias->embed->subset. If the helvetica part is appearing junk, try and comment out the entry in embed section and let the subsetting happen.
On Solaris, ensure that the case of font file names match.

License Transfer and Customer Support Nightmare - Please help.

I have purchased a copy of Creative Suite and am trying to get the license transferred.
I have been promised 3 times now via live chat that it will go through yet obstacles keep popping up.
Initially the case was closed so I was unable to upload my recipient end of the transaction. Then I was told it was re-opened but that that the current license holder had to upload both forms.
I have kept all of the chat transcripts so this is what was said:
"******you have to contact ****** and mail your form to him and he will attach the form containing your details . And then we will be able to authenticate that and then transfer the details."
He has done so and has now been sent the following email (all names and case numbers removed)

It turns out that a completely new case number has been assigned when I was told it hadn't.and that, as I initially thought, I need to send them my form as the recipient but am unable to do so because the case is not listed on my Support Portal case list.
Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to make sure that Adobe have both forms attached to the same case No. so that this issue can be resolved. It is becoming a little Kafkaesque.
