Organizational structure graphical view

Hi Friends,
we have problem with the organizational structure graphical view in OM. the system can not read the texts fonts, we don't use english characters. what should we do?

Hope you both don't mind but I am piggy backing on your OM discussion. You both sound like have good experience in working with Turkey. I am trying to find a standard infotype to store a Turkish Identification no, SSN, and Local ID card numbers. I am leaning towards IT0185 but first want to check around to see if there are Turkish infotypes specifically for these types of documentation. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Graphical Display of Organization Structure in HR

While creating the organization structure some dummy org. units are created basically for reporting purpose. However while displaying the same in graphical structure the dummy units are also displayed.
I would like to know if it is possible to hide these dummy org units while having the structural display.

Answer would be like this.. Let say : Your Root org unit is 100000 (i.e., ABC Industries) and your sub org units as follows
100001 - Finance
100002 - HR
100003 - Your DUMMY org unit
Now all these got created with a standard relationship as A-002 with 100000. Now You have 2 ways to hide your DUMMY org unit in the Organisation Graphical display..
1. Deleting the Org object 100003 from Data Base
2. Deleting only the relationship between Org Units 100000 and 100003.
If you want to delete the Org Unit... first goto SM30, give the table as T777I and Select the Org Infotype as 1000 and Click on the "Time Constraint" and change the Time Constraint as 3 instead of "1" and now go to Report "RE_RHRHDL00" and Select the Plan Version, Object Type as "O" and Object ID as "100003" and Uncheck the TEST mode and execute. So that Org Unit 100003 will get deleted from data base...
If you want to delete the relationships : You can do this in PP01 and select the Object Type "O" and Object ID as 100000. Select the Org Units and Position which you want to delete. Click on Delete Now I hope you should not be in a position see those in Org Unit graphical display..

Just i have use T-Code- PPIS and got the org structure, but i could not able to download into word or excel, how can i take this graphical view of the structure,

Hi,
You can use PPOSE and go to Print, in the Preview, Go to System, List, Save, Local File, Spreadsheet and you will be able to download the Org Struc.

ALE: e-recruiting organizational structure transfer

Hi friends,
I want to transfer the organization structure or the organization plan with O,S,C object types from one SAP system to another SAP system.
I have done the ALE configuration and using PAFL transaction to do the same.
I would like to know that model view i should use for the distribution also i would want to know the screen parameters in PAFL transaction.
I am doing the same for E-recruiting separate instance.

Hello,
We are still having a problem with failing iDocs everytime we pass over IT0105 Sty 1 records from our SAP system to E-Recruiting.
Would anyone happen to know where I should start looking to troubleshoot this error message?
"Password is not long enough (minimum length: 6 characters)"
Currently both systems require that your password be at least 6 characters long, which makes this message even more perplexing.
Having a better understanding of how RBDAPP01 processes inbound IDOCS in status 64 would help. We are using message type HRMD_ABA. Our data filter looks like....
Infotype: 1000
Object Type: C, O, S
Infotype: 1001
Object Type: C, O, S
Subtypes: A002, A007, A008, A012, B002, B007, B008, B012
Infotype: 1001
Object Type: O, S
Subtypes: A003, B003
Infotypes: 0000, 0001, 0002

So the question is how is IT0105 Sty 1 being processed when RBDAPP01 runs?

Organizational Structure Search Help in Webdynpro ABAP

Hi,
I need an organizational structure search help in webdynpro abap.
It should list the organizational structure in tree view like RH_OBJID_REQUEST lists.
I tried to use RH_OBJID_REQUEST function in webdynpro but I got " A RAISE statement in the program
"CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER=======CP" raised theexception condition "CNTL_ERROR" short dump.
Is there such a function for webdynpro abap and how can I achive this with select options?

Great article. I also had this probelm a year ago. My problems questions are:
Is it possible to select more then one entry in the tree?
What about selecting all childrens with one click?
In my solution I inserted this tree, into a table and the table had a checkbox, row, so the user can check the required org units, (more then one) and there was a separate button, for "select all children"

Relationship of iViews with HR Organization Structure

In an HR SAP Portal what is the relationship of iViews with HR Organization Structure.
Does the iViews and org structure pull from tables or the infotype data?

In SAP HR ESS, MSS all Iview links we see in Overview page are configured in spro.
Yes there is relation exists in between portal I view and Hr infotypes. For portal Iviews Hr Infotypes acts like data providers and recivers.

Organization Structure

Hi,
I am new to SAP and I have some fundamental doubts. I want to know about the organization structure in Controlling module. Do we need to create a Controlling Area for each Company code? How many Operating concerns are to be created if there are four company codes?

Hi
The designing and creation of a Organization structure in SAP is a very crucial and a critical decision. Once the Organization structure is designed and configured it is extremely difficult to change it. Also note that once transaction data is posted it is difficult to change the organization structure.
The number of Controlling Areas and Operating Concerns does not depend on Company Codes. In designing a Organization structure, we should take a comprehensive and integrated view of all modules like SD/MM/FICO etc. As long as fiscal year variant / Chart of Accounts are same multiple Company Codes can be assigned to one Controlling.
In Controlling Organization Structure, highest level is Operating Concern and under that Controlling Areas are assigned and Company Codes are assigned to Controlling Area.
In most Business Scenarios one Operating Concern and Controlling Area will meet the Business requirements.

SRM 7.0 Approval Flow in Graphical view

Hi experts,
I'm upgrading from SAP SRM 4.0 to 7.0.
In SRM 4.0 I was able to view, in a shopping cart, for example, the approval structure in graphical view and in a table view.
In SRM 7.0 I can only see the approval flow in a table view. How can I see the approval flow in a grapical view?

srm 7.0 - Only Table is only AVAILABLE. no more graphical overview in SRM 7.0 on wards.
SRM 4.0 /5.0 - Table as well as Graphical over view are available.
graphical overview was not supported in SRM 7.0 on wards as per standard.

is posible that a manager can display an organizational structure iview and other manager can display others organizational structure iview in the page of general information??

Hi Juan,
the view show is the employee selection - what the manager can see is restricted by their authorisations and depending on how you have configured the OADP selections used - on the root objects resolved for the manager and the selections that are used.
There are many posts on the use of OADP (Object and Data Provider) - have a search and you should find something useful.

Organizational Structure in OM

Dear All
There are 3 ways of building an Organizational Structure --- Simple Maintenance, Organization and Staffing and Expert Mode. Could anyone let me know how to decide which one to adopt from these and under what scenarios, when it comes to building the structure for a company.
Which one of these is widely used in preparing an Organizational Structure for companies?

Hi,
1.Simple Maintenance uses a tree structure, which allows you to create a basic framework for organizational plans, using streamlined procedures. In this way, you can create your organizational and reporting structures step by step.
2.In the Organization and Staffing and the Organization and Staffing (Workflow) views, you can
    create staff assignments by creating positions
    display staff assignments or individual positions, persons (employees) or users
    assign positions, persons (employees) and users
    assign characteristics to positions
3. Expert mode : you can create and maintain all possible infotypes for the position object type. Enter the name of a position and specify the status of the infotypes you want to create, using the tab pages. EX. t-cdoe : PO10, PO13, PO03 and simple maintenance also.

How to get the organization structures of a compnay code (BUKRS)?

I have a requirement to get the organization structures of a compnay code (BUKRS), such as Controlling area, Credit control area, Plant, Sales Organization, Purch. Organization, Personnel area.
How can I get them, I only know the compnay code table is T001, but how to get the organization structures of a compnay code (BUKRS) into a internal table?

Hi,
A lot of table will be involved for the same.
The company code is the highest unit and all other things are assigned to it.
Check the settings in SPRO as to how the maintainance is done.
From here you will get the maintainance view details if you do F1 help on each field.
From this view you can get the relevant tables.
For eg.
Go to SPRO>Controlling>Organization-->Maintain Controlling Area
Here you will find the assignment of controlling area to the company code.
The maintainance view is V_TKA02 and the tables involved are TKA02, TKA01, T001
In this way you can find the relevant tables.

go to ppom_old, search for your org.structure then click once the root then at mid top you can see the button for structural grahics view. the one with color blue,green, red and yellow. it looks like a building graphs.
their is no tcode for this but you can use short cut from ppom_old click shift +F8.

Extension of organization structure

Greetings for the day,
Iam currently working on SAP PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, where i have to create a document called EXTENSTION OF ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE, where i already have a standard organization structure where we can view throught transaction PPOME, but my question is what should be determined in the extenstion of organization structure document, what are things to be considered while creating extenstion of organization structure, where i dont have idea on this.
Can any one throw me light to create this document

Hi Babu,
Take the requirement from your client that what are the changes to be done and release one new document as new version i.e, according to the present document.
Ex:- Present document is version 1.0
New document will be version 2.0 as per the requirement.
That is the only solution as per my view.

Display the shopping cart details via Monitor shopping cart without the user being mapped in organizational structure

Dear Experts,
I have a scenario where the Project/Support team members won't be mapped into the organizational structure. But they must be able to view the shopping cart details. Could you please help me in providing some clue to achieve this.
As of now, I am getting the below error if the user is trying to view the shopping cart details when the user is not mapped into the organizational struture.

Hi Bharathi,
Make it more simple. Create a separate organizational unit for the Support/Admin team and intergrate the users there.
It's the common practic.
