[OSB10.3.1] err creating JMS stuff in OSB cluster from recorded WLS session

Hi all,
I've setup an OSB cluster with 2 managed servers.
From WLS console I created successfully the below JMS resources:
1. new file store, name and directory: MyFileStore_m01, target: bnk01osbm01 migratable
2. new file store, name and directory: MyFileStore_m02, target: bnk01osbm02 migratable
3. new jms server, name: MyJMSServer_m01, persistent store: MyFileStore_m01, target: bnk01osbm01 migratable
4. new jms server, name: MyJMSServer_m02, persistent store: MyFileStore_m02, target: bnk01osbm02 migratable
5. new jms module, name: MyJMSSystemModule, targets: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster
6. new xa conn factory, name: MyXAConnectionFactory, jndi name: MyXAConnectionFactory
(targets as proposed by WLS itself: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster)
+ XA Connection Factory Enabled: true
7. new Distributed Queue, name: MyDistributedQueue1, jndi name: MyDistributedQueue1, load balancing policy: round-robin
(targets as proposed by WLS itself: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster)
+ allocate members uniformly: true
and I recorded that into the included recorded_by_wls.py. As said no error has been raised.
Then I removed the above JMS resources and I executed the recorded_by_wls.py from command line getting the error that I reported at the end of the email.
I changed slightly the original py produced by WLS by adding only the below first 5 lines:
print "Starting the script ..."
connect("weblogic", "weblogic", "t3://wasdv1r3n1.dev.b-source.net:7031")
edit()
startEdit()
cd('/')
I included also the recorded_by_wls.py source at the end of the email.
For information I reported also what I saw on WLS console when I created manually my JMS resources.
Do you have an idea why a successfully recorded WLS session fails when executed from a command line ?
Any help will be very appreciate.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
ferp

Hi Ferp,
Do you have an idea why a successfully recorded WLS session fails when executed from a command line ?It should not fail. Each and every successfully (activation has been done without reporting an error/conflict) recorded session will execute on other servers successfully until a unique name constraint gets violated.
In your case this violation has happened. Your script is trying to create a distributed destination "MyDistributedQueue1" under module "MyJMSSystemModule", targetted to JMS Server "wlsbJMSServer_auto_2" but a Distributed Queue with same JNDI name already exists there.
Please check.

Anuj

  • Creating a cd with multiple tracks from a multitrack session

    I am trying to burn an audio cd with multiple tracks created from a multitrack session. Adobe 3.0 used to make this an easy process. I am only able to burn a cd with a single track regardless of range markers, cd track markers, etc.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and thank you for your reply. I am used to the functionality of audition 3.0. I place tracks from my hard drive into a session (usually 18 or so). I used to add markers, then file>export>multitrack mixdown>entire session. The resulting mixdown used to keep the markers. I am not familiar with how to save each track separately and I place the markers in the file during the session creation but before export>mixdown, etc.

  • How to create a JMS persistent file store using WLST in WLS 9.0?

    Anybody have a good example of this? When I try to create a fileStore and set it on my jms server I am getting the following error: "TypeError: setPersistentStore(): 1st arg can't be coerced to weblogic.management.configuration.PersistentStoreMBean'
    Thanks :)

    Hi,
    First Create Persistent Store ( FileStore / JDBCStore).
    File Store Creation is as follows:
    Store = create("PStore","FileStore")
    Set it's File Directory and Targets.
    then Create JMS Server and set its Persistent Store as File Store. Set JMS Server Target.

  • Create jms queue xml data server

    Hi,
    What's the difference between jms queue and jms queue xml data servers and how to create jms queue xml data server.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    JMS messages can principally be processed by Oracle Data Integrator in two formats:
    - JMS Messages: containers for rows of data, handled through JMS Queue/JMS Topic Technologies. With JMS Queue/JMS Topic technologies, each JMS destination is defined similarly to a flat file datastore. Each message in the destination is a record in the datastore.
    - XML Messages: containers for XML files, handled through JMS XML Queue/JMS XML Topic Technologies. With JMS XML Queue/JMS XML Topic technologies, each messages payload contains a complete XML data structure. This structure is mapped into a relational schema (XML Schema) which appears as a model. This use the Oracle DI Driver for XML (see the driver documentation in Oracle DI documentation).
    Find below a step by step creation process for such a destination:
    1. Data Server
    To create a JMS XML Queue data server, you declare a simple JNDI connection. The only JMS XML specific information is added to the URL. This information defines the XML file format.
    The JNDI URL should be : <JMS_RESOURCE>?d=<DTD_FILE>&f=<XML_FILE>&s=<SCHEMA>&JMS_DESTINATION=<JMS_DESTINATION_NAME>
    - JMS_RESOURCE: JNDI resource corresponding to your JMS queue that will contain the XML payload. You would specify this URL if you were managing normal JMS messages.
    - DTD_FILE: path to a DTD file that describes the XML structure. Mandatory if the parameter XML_FILE is omitted.
    - XML_FILE: path to the XML file with a structure similar to the expected XML messages. Mandatory if the DTD_FILE parameter is omitted.
    - SCHEMA: schema name that will contain the XML structure. This value must match the one set for the physical schema attached to this data server. This parameter is mandatory.
    - JMS_DESTINATION_NAME: name of the JMS queue or topic. This parameter is mandatory.
    2. Schema
    Creation is straightforward: In the Schema (Schema) and Schema (Work Schema), enter the name of the <SCHEMA> defined in the data server JNDI URL.
    3. Model
    Use standard reverse-engineering. As the Oracle DI Driver for XML is used the XML structure will be reversed as a relational structure.

  • How to create JMS Queues and Topics - OAS 10.1.3?

    Hi,
    Is there a way to create JMS Queues and Topics via the command line for OAS 10.1.3, say through admin-client.jar ?
    I have read the "Managing Adminitered Objects" chapter from the "Oracle Containers for J2EE Resource Adapter" book and could not find the information I am looking for.
    Thanks.
    -Sachin

    Hi Sachin --
    In the 10.1.3.1 release, a set of new commands have been added to admin_client.jar to support the command line creation of JMS resources:
    -addJMSConnectionFactory -domain <domain> -jndiLocation <jndiLocation> [options]
    -removeJMSConnectionFactory -jndiLocation <jndiLocation>
    -getJMSConnectionFactories
    -addDestination -domain <domain> -name <name> -jndiLocation <jndiLocation> [options]
    -removeDestination -name <name> [options]
    -getDestinations
    You can read about it in the doc:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/web.1013/b28950/adminclient.htm#CHDDFJJA

  • WLST create JMS Server

    Does anyone know the difference between the following commands to create JMS resources using WLST?
    cmo.createJMSServer('myJMSServer');
    vs
    create('myJMSServer', 'JMSServer')

    Hello,
    You can use both.
    the cmo.createJMSServer is 'java' code.

  • How can I create a function of sound volue from time using AudioQueueBufferRef??

    I have a question how can I analyze class AudioQueueBufferRef, for creating a function of sound volue from time?? Here is what I get . there is AudioQueueBufferRef fillBuf = audioQueueBuffer[fillBufferIndex]; volume height is 2000 elements from SInt16* coreAudioBuffer = (SInt16*)fillBuf->mAudioData. so function looks like H(t*i)=coreAudioBuffer[i] where t = 1/sampleRate = 1/22050 but here is a problem. my program gets sound and uses a class AudioStreamer for this. AudioStreamer has 3000 lines when I play music from Free Internet Radio - SHOUTcast Radio - Thousands of Free Online Radio Stations. internet radio - my problem is as follows either I dont know where 85 % of sound information is or I dont know how I can analyze class AudioQueueBufferRef
    Here is the code where I analyze Buffer.
    {@synchronized(self)
    if ([self isFinishing] || stream == 0)
    return;
    inuse[fillBufferIndex] = true; // set in use flag
    buffersUsed++;
    // enqueue buffer
    AudioQueueBufferRef fillBuf = audioQueueBuffer[fillBufferIndex];
    fillBuf->mAudioDataByteSize = bytesFilled;
    // ======>in this place I analyze Buffer
    if (packetsFilled)
    err = AudioQueueEnqueueBuffer(audioQueue, fillBuf, packetsFilled, packetDescs);
    else
    err = AudioQueueEnqueueBuffer(audioQueue, fillBuf, 0, NULL);
    when bitRate = 24 buffer has the following options int size=(fillBuf->mAudioDataByteSize) == 2000 double sampleRate=asbd.mSampleRate == 22050 numberOfChannels = asbd.mChannelsPerFrame == 1 it turns out that duration of play buffer float bufferTime =(size/numberOfChannels)/sampleRate == 0.1 number of buffers per second float numBuffersInOneSeconds == 1,5 duration of play all buffers per one second numBuffersInOneSeconds * time == 0.15 so it is 15 % of all information
    as a result If buffer comes at 0.0 seconds he lasts up to 0.1 seconds.farther in my function there is no volume. second buffer comes in 0.7 seconds and lasts up to 0.8 seconds. but in reality the sound doesnt breaks. Maybe I'm doing something wrong .please tell me.
    just for comparison
    when bitRate = 32 buffer has the following options int size=(fillBuf->mAudioDataByteSize) == 2000 double sampleRate=asbd.mSampleRate == 22050 numberOfChannels = asbd.mChannelsPerFrame == 1 it turns out that duration of play buffer float bufferTime =(size/numberOfChannels)/sampleRate == 0.1 number of buffers per second float numBuffersInOneSeconds == 2 duration of play all buffers per one second numBuffersInOneSeconds * time == 0.2 so it is 20 % of all information
    when bitRate = 32 buffer has the following options int size=(fillBuf->mAudioDataByteSize) == 1660 double sampleRate=asbd.mSampleRate == 44100 numberOfChannels = asbd.mChannelsPerFrame == 2 it turns out that duration of play buffer float bufferTime =(size/numberOfChannels)/sampleRate == 0.02 number of buffers per second float numBuffersInOneSeconds == 10 duration of play all buffers per one second numBuffersInOneSeconds * time == 0.2 so it is 20 % of all information

    You cannot write custom commands for expressions.
    That being said, there are a couple of options:
    Create a subsequence with a single step. Use a parameter of the sequence as "function parameter".
    Create a custom step type including a substep module which implements the function. Add an edit substep to enable the user of the steptype to gracefully change the parameter.
    Store the variable parameter in a local/file global variable and modify the value in each step. This will, at least, keep the "function" the same for every step.

  • JMS Dequeue issue -- OSB

    Hi,
    We have created a JMS Queue in WLS 10.3.0 and OSB (10.3.1) process is using proxy service - JMS transport to dequeue messages.
    WLS JMS Queue -->OSB Proxy --> Business Service (JCA Db adapter) to insert data into a table
    IF error in db --> Invoke OSB error handler and write to a file
    Case - Success
    Messages are deleted from the queue
    Case - Failure
    Messages are not deleted from the queue. Error handler is invoked in OSB and messages are written to a file.
    This is creating an issue since OSB retries and number of files are created. We have tried setting retry settings in OSB, but in vain.
    Please provide inputs, this is a bit of emergency.
    Regards,
    AP

    Am also dumb...
    You need to create a new proxy service (and select the message type which suits your process, anysoap any xml, wsdl, etc), on the second tab you can select the transport.
    In here select jms from the listbox and for the endpoint insert "jms://yourhost:yourpost/yourconnectionfactory/yourqueue"
    thats all what is needed to let your proxy service pick up the messages from the queue.
    eventually you want to route this message to something else, so for that you need to decide what sort of business service you use (webservice wsdl based, or just some other jms endpoint,or file...you name it)
    @@JMS implementation in OSB
    OSB concepts are really hard to digest if u r SOA developer from start. Proxy Service will act as a Inbound for JMS. It still shows the "Destination type" in JMS Transport Config tab
    Really Confussing....

  • How to access jms queue in NetWeaver X from NetWeaver Y

    Hi experts,
    I would like to know whether accessing jms queue in NetWeaver X from NetWeaver Y is possible or not using web application.
    I have one web application that is deployed in NetWeaver Y and I want to access jms queue in NetWeaver X (Not Y).
    Is there any configuration to get aound this?
    Or do I need to use following code inside of my web application?
    env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "com.sap.engine.services.jndi.InitialContextFactoryImpl" );
    env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "<server ip - NetWeaver X>:<port>" );
    env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "<user name>" );
    env.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "<password>" );
    Thank you,
    --Geonil

    Thanks for your anwser Baskar Gopal.
    My JAVA PROXY is created from software component version of PI 7.1 and is deployed in the same server. For that reason my JAVA PROXY run in my PI 7.1.
    Well, I did a test with your suggestion and that works fine. I created the JAVA PROXY from SAP PI 7.1 but deploy the JAVA PROXY in the SAP Netweaver 7.3.
    Thanks a lot

  • OSB JMS resources in a cluster

    Hi,
    I am creating an OSB cluster with multiple managed servers using a script. I would like to know what resources (JMS) are needed and how they should be targeted so that reporting works.
    Best regards
    Dimo

    I think I have found out what is required by the OSB:
    1. DataSource deployed in the cluster AND on the admin server for the reporting (wlsbjmsrpDataSource), scripts to drop and create the tables are located in ${osb_home}/dbscripts/oracle/
    2. JMS Module containing:
    2.1. 3 Connection factories:weblogic.wlsb.jms.transporttask.QueueConnectionFactory, wli.reporting.jmsprovider.XAConnectionFactory, wli.reporting.jmsprovider.NonXAConnectionFactory
    2.2. 8 Queues - QueueIn, wli.reporting.jmsprovider.queue, wli.reporting.jmsprovider_error.queue, wli.reporting.purge.queue, wlsb.internal.transport.task.queue.email, wlsb.internal.transport.task.queue.file, wlsb.internal.transport.task.queue.ftp, wlsb.internal.transport.task.queue.sftp
    I am not sure if that list is complete as it has been a bit of reverse engineering to find it out...

  • Read message synchronously from JMS queue using OSB

    Hi,
    Is it possible to read message from the JMS queue using OSB based on the request invocation. I know messages can be read from the queue but it will be polling based.
    The requirement is to have an OSB proxy service (HTTP service ) an an interface to the client application. Client application invokes the proxy service and the proxy service need to read message from the JMS queue and provide the message as response to the client.
    Let me know if there are any pointers.
    Thanks
    Sandeep

    Hi,
    I spent some time trying to do this and apart from creating custom database tables etc. I was not able to achieve this.
    We wanted to use in memory JMS queues in our situation.
    In the end we developed a Java Web Service which preformed the on-demand read from the queue (using a particular message selector)
    This is working for us without a problem
