Otter Box Armor Case for iPhone 5

I know this is Apple Forums, but if anybody needs a  pouch with belt clip for Otterbox Armor Case for iPhone 5, consider a pouch with belt clip designed for Galaxy S3. I got this "third party" like Amazon, it is REIKO brand pouch with belt clip. My iPhone 5 with Armor case fits snug in this pouch, if somebody found something better, good for you!

Since it is not listed as an available case for the 5s, I would think not.:

    Hi,
I would like to ask you a question.
a month ago I bought a battery case for iPhone 5 and it worked properly until I installed iOS 7. From that day my iphone is operating normally, BUT when the battery is empty, unfortunately I can not charge additionally my iphone with the "extra battery case".
Does that mean that you did not even create a new software that supports additional battery case or it is something else?
    I need your help!!,
    Thank you in advance.
    Sincerely,
    VK

The Mophie Air is a good battery case, but doesn't offer the protection she's looking for. I suggest sticking to the Lifeproof, the iPhone has a very good battery (2-3 days moderate usage for me).
To your 2nd to last paragraph, that is false. Verizon is allowing exisiting customers to keep Unlimited Data - but will lose it once they use a subsidized upgrade. So if you buy a 4S (or LTE device for example) outright, you will keep unlimited data. Mobile hotspot may use up a bit of data, but it is a separate add-on/feature. The new Family Share plans may change that, so it's one giant center of data all devices use.

  • Leather Wallet Case For iPhone 6 (4.7")

    Hello!
I'm looking for leather wallet case for my iPhone 6 4.7", I want something that will protect all the body of the iPhone like this - i-Blason-leather-book-folio-wallet-case-for-iphone-6-plus-32.jpg
I want cuts only for the holes not for the entire aluminum so it wont scratch.
Im looking for something with texture like this - new_title_iph6_wallet_blk_1.jpg (Speck Wallet S Case For iPhone 6) but with cuts only for the holes as I mentioned above.
    Thanks A Lot!

This one's not leather but I've had it before and it's nice.  It has microfiber of sorts on the inside so it doesn't scratch the screen.

This one does have some leather but I can't vouch for it since I haven't purchased it-yet.

This one is not leather at all, it's a polyurethane but I swear by it because A. it's cheap and B. it's got a wonderful magnetic closure to keep the flap closed

Is the Uncommon Satin Waves Deflector Case for iPhone 4 coming soon to Australia?

Were you going to tell us what kind of case it was, or do you want us to just guess?

I have been using a leather case with a magnetic clasp for months.  The only side effect is that I need to recalibrate the compass app when I use it.  This is really not a problem since I don't use the compass app very often.  I haven't encountered any other interference or problems.

  • Lifeproof Cases for iPhone 4

When will new shipments of the TEAL and GREEN lifeproofs cases be available to purchase online?

Julian, the phones are of the same size, but when you choose a case for the phones, there are a few things to be aware of. A slight difference will determine if a case will suit the phone. I wrote a blog about it. Check it out:

  • Protective cases for iPhones

Two protective cases for iPhones are 1) Lifeproof and 2) Otterbox Defender series. Does anyone have acquaintance with both these cases? If so, is one better than the other? Or is there some other case that is better than either of those? Thank you for the assessment and suggestions.

The iPhone 5 Otterbox Defender case is very nice and is a big improvement over their 4/4S case. The new one is much slimmer and better feeling in the hand, though it's still a BIG CASE.
The Lifeproof case isn't quite as physically rugged as the Otterbox, but it is water resistant where the Otterbox isn't.  The Lifeproof case can be used in the shower or even swimming if you keep it above six feet of water. There are some reports that individual Lifeproof cases can muffle sound quality fairly badly (while others don't), but the Otterbox doesn't have those issues as it leaves the speaker ports relatively unobstructed. The Lifeproof case is also much slimmer than the Otterbox while providing a large degree of protection.
Griffin's Survivor series cases are generally as rugged as either of the above, but I don't recall it being waterproof.
There are a number of other cases with a high impact resistance rating out there, but I'd probably stick with one of those three mentioned above, myself.

  • Does Tech21 Impact Band Case for iPhone 5 work together with a screen film?

Does Tech21 Impact Band Case for iPhone 5 work together with a screen film? If it does what kind of screen film?

A standard screen protector seems to large, when mounting the Band Case the edges on the screen protector get loose.

  • I have an iphone 5 with an otter box defender case which I love but I need a secondary case that is not as bulky any advice?

Can anyone steer me in the right direction I love my otter box but I want something smaller to carry in my pocket when I dont need as much protectioin

There are dozens (perhaps hundreds - Google is your friend), but I specifically recommended the Commuter. It is much more compact than the bulkier Defender but still provides excellent protection:

  • ISkin Revo case for iPhone Unboxing & FI

The following is my un-boxing & first impressions review of the iSkin revo for iPhone. I just got mine in the mail today, pulled out my camera and started shooting. A complete gallery of my unboxing and review pictures is available here:
    http://thatsrich.smugmug.com/gallery/3282911#182155384
    ==============
    1. iSkin ships their items through UPS. Because I live near Niagara Falls, NY, the standard shipping took only 3 days!
    2. They could have used a smaller box for the product.
    3. The revo does look a lot like what's shown online. Smooth colors; soft, yet firm material, and the edges have fine ridges that enhance the iPhone's grip in your hand.
    4. I had to work the iPhone into the skin by inserting the bottom half and then pulling the top half over the phone. Cleaning the iPhone (note: iKlear is the best~!) before fitting is a good idea. It took some work to get it in there, but I feel that this is a good sign of a sturdy, snug case. It basically "hugs" the iPhone very well, with a tiny exception underneath the earpiece. You'll notice it's a tiny bit off, but massaging the case works that out quickly.
    5. Good grip in the hand. I'm even confident that you can do thumb-texting without real risk of dropping the phone.
    6. The holes align perfectly. You see the camera hole is just right.
    7. The iSkin comes with a hard plastic ViSOR. Some will disagree with me on this, but my ViSOR fits in place with a good grip. I was even able to hold the iPhone by the ViSOR and it didn't come off. I would recommend using the ViSOR when in a pocket for a long haul, or on a flight. When not in use, it snaps easily in the back part of the case without adding any extra bulk.
    8. The case adds a little bulk to the phone, but what can you do? It's a case. Bulk is a trade-off for solid protection in the event of a drop. the iSkin delivers that well.
    9. I have the NLU Bodyguardz installed on the phone, so I am not using the privacy screen, and I don't plan to. The screen is clear and there is no effect on the touchscreen system. The Bodyguardz I have cover the entire phone, including the chrome bezel, so if lint and other stuff ever gets into the case, the Bodyguardz will keep it from scratching. Am I OD? Maybe, but again, how much did I pay for this 8GB iPhone? Ahhhh.
    10. The iSkin comes with a dock connector cover, which fits easily into the connector without covering the speaker or mic holes. However, this will probably a piece I might end up misplacing somewhere down the road.
    11. People have complained that the images of the iSkin on their website actually cover up the headphone jack. The jack is covered to protect debris from getting in there, but it conveniently flaps open to reveal the jack itself.
    12. I called my iPhone from my Skype account, and I still felt the vibration of the phone through the case. Good. Both my voice and EDGE coverage were unaffected by the case.
    ==============
Apple suggests in their User's Guide that you look into getting a case for the iPhone. The iSkin Revo was released after the launch date, giving them an advantage to refine a good case. In a world of disappointing rubber iPhone cases, the iSkin can hold its own against scuffs, drops and the elements.

I have had my case for a week and a half now and still love it as much as day one.
I use the visor on my case and though it doesn't fit on tight, it has never come off while in my pocket.
The case attracted lint and dust the first few days but stopped after I washed it with soap and water a few times.
I have also taken the case off the phone twice so far and each time I put it on the phone, it fits just as snug as day one.
Great case, glast I paid the money!
Oh and if you order the nighthawk case, it appears like it's black on the website, but it's actually a very dark brown.

  • What store sells case-mate barely there cases for iphone 4S?

I want to get a Case-Mate Barely There case for my iPhone 4S, but I want to find one in a store. Does anyone know of a store that sells them?

I seriously doubt they will exchange your iPhone with one of the display units.
Doubtful if Apple has any refurbished iPhone 4S in stock for an exchange under warranty at this point. An exchange under warranty is provided in a plain box with the iPhone only regardless if new or refurbished and there should be no way to tell the difference. The exchange will remain under the same warranty as your original purchase.

  • What is a good case for iPhone 5? both stylish and protective.

I want a new case for my iphone 5 i want something thats both good looking and can protect my Phone. especialy shock absorbing.
my phone fell like 7 times including 1 hard fall ever since Google app is messed up ( letters override eachother) so yeah.
a transparent 1 is also cool, My iPhone is Sexy.

    Hey, Michael
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
My suggestion is you do have a look on the websites accesories section and find something that suits you, from what you are saying you need a stylish yet strong case. So any good plastic based one will do, you can choose the style and color then. Or you can actually visit the store and have a feel. I have several, when im at work i keep the stylish yet strong ones, but when i am in the field or sports i have a pretty strong one, a little chunky too.
I hope this helps you. Let me know if it does. If not feel free to give me a shout. Best of luck.
