Out Put Problems After Crash

Hi I am running a newly installed LP8 following a crash to day I am having problems getting sound out
If if I switch core audio to Built in Audio I do get sound from my internal speaker.
I am Running a MOTU traveller and a MOTU 828 which are linked in Core audio and clocks linked by fiber .If I switch core audio to Both together or the Traveller on its own( I use the Traveller’s channels 1 and 2 to input to my monitors) I get I high pitched beeping sound which seems to lag the playing of my midi Keyboard
I have tried various adjustments but to be honest I am just poking an hoping
Any ideas?

Sounds like you're already running an aggregate audio audio setup (linked in core audio). Maybe the crash wiped out the arregate device?
Often resetting the MOTU 828 can clear up "beeping" sounds.
Is it and 828MkII?
If so the reset procedure is:
- Unplug the firewire
- press the button "setup", turn full right until "factory default"
- push select
- confirm with "value"
- plug back firewire
Might want to check the manual and see if the Traveler has
a reset procedure as well.
If none of the above just make sure your audio clocks are locked at the same frequency. Also, shut the Mac down, unplug all of the MOTU stuff, boot the Mac, plugin the MOTU units.

2.Check the communication tab in VV32 are you maintaining all parameters or not,check the storage field it should be filled with print,check medium also.

XML PUBLISHER report in Excel out put problem

Hi Experts,
I have developed one XML report which output type is EXCEL in Oracle Application.
I am getting some -ve value in the report so I need to do the trailing sign
Menace for example I got a value -8645 I need to display the value like (8645).
This functionality is working in PDF output but in EXCEL out put it is not working.
Could any body please help me on this..

Report web out put problem

Hi:
I used 10g forms and reports for my application. When I run a report .rdf file in form used
web.show_document(v_parameter_string ,'_blank');
build in function, the v_parameter_string include all parameter for server and application.
Everything is ok and the report file appears in the browser window. But maybe the size of each row is too long, the words in the report body with font size =1 -- the smallest size of letter. So the color of words in report body part is dark gray but the title part is normal black color (words' font size is 2 or upper). This make I looking at report body very difficult in web browser. When I print the report from browser, the print out paper is good and no color different between body and title part.
Do some people know why this gray color issue happened and how to fix it making the black color words appear in the report body.

Out put problem in Ad hoc query reports

Hi Gurus,
I am tryting to generate a report through Ad hoc query in S_PH0_48000510 - Ad Hoc Query SAP/Query/HR_ADM - > Selected several options like personnel number / employee name / entry date / leaving date.
But when we select it shows the input details but when i try for output the entry date / leaving date even the names of the employees are not reflecting.
But the age/date of birth other fields are coming in output.
Kindly let me know the solution to get a out put. If there is any changes need to be done in the back end. Pls advice with the path details.

Csv report out put problem

am trying to generate delimited format report on command prompt.
out put is to huge and it gives error . To over come this when I turned page break to yes the report will be generated successfully but the out put number of rows are being doubled.
suppose initially I am getting 100 rows , With page break set to yes the out put in
report csv format will be 200

Its not possible to export data directly from 6i to excel but you can export in text file and then open it in excel it will open very easily but keep it in you mind first eliminate all report groups.

There is a trick to capture Oracle Reports output (text output) into a excel sheet.
Basic Steps :
1) Set the output format for the report to XML
2) Run the report to generate output.
3) Save the output file locally as a XML file.
4) Open the file using MS Excel.
5) To make it more beautiful, you may use a MS Excel Template

Adobe Bridge won't open & iTunes problems after crash

Hello,
I was using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop (CS3 versions) earlier and was having PS perform a very memory-intensive task. I was also running iTunes and Firefox at the time. PS crashed; when I tried to reopen it, it got stuck on the initialization window. I couldn't force quit, so I tried to restart my computer - but whatever was preventing PS from either booting or closing seemed also to be preventing my mac from shutting down. So I did a forced shut-down by holding down the power button.
When I restarted, PS would launch, but Bridge wouldn't - the icon would bounce in my doc for a bit, then stop; on each subsequent try, it would bounce a little less, but still not launch (same goes for trying to open it from the Applications folder.) Also, when I launched iTunes it told me my library was "damaged", and had be go through set-up steps again as if I had never used the software.
I'm not exactly sure what to do here to get Bridge working correctly. I'm not sure if this question is better suited for an Adobe forum, but I thought I'd start here. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks.

Try one of these things or both:
* open Bridge from within Photoshop; or
* make a new Mac account and log in as a different user. Bridge will likely start. After that, it will probably work in your regular account.
However, there is no "firmware" update involved here. Firmware is applied to machines only, via an Apple patch. Many machines don't ever get a firmware uppdate ever, only a few Mac models do.

Also, the Bridge updater does NOT touch the ACR plug-in, nor does it update said camera raw plug-in either. You can manually download the ACR 4.3.1 plug-in and install it yourself as per the very detailed instructions on the ACR download page. Follow those

Out put quality after DVD authoring is less than .mov file that fcp source

Anyone know why I would be getting a notable drop in quality after i make a dvd?
going from HF11 Cannon shot at 17 mbps into FCP. then out to compressor and using the high quality dvd setting.
then when i play my dvd i notice for example jaggies on some objects yet if i look at the .mov file that was ignested into FCP that has almost no jaggies. is there some setting i'm missing?
everything was set at 16:9 1080x720.
I'm up to my pits in information overload.

Here are some of your options as you look toward HD encoding.
Using Toast, Encore, or FCS 3 you can move toward blu-ray authoring and encoding. In Toast and FCS 3 you can make AVCHD disks which are blu-ray disks put onto single or dual-layer DVDs which is a huge cost savings. Your encoding is limited to 17 Mbps, but in h.264 that will still allow for decent quality. Encore will let you design a complete disk but it doesn't make AVCHD disks - you'll need to jump through some hoops in order to take an Encore project (but it can be done). Here's a workflow for that. As a side note this workflow is for using Final Cut Express - in FCS you have the added benefit of being able to work with 23.98 fps timelines.
Your other option it to move toward digital outputs. You can use something like an AppleTV to playback HD content (it'll be reduced to either 960x540 @ 30 fps or 1280x720 @ 24 fps. Or you can use one of the various media streams on that market now (SlingCatch, Western Digital WDTV, etc.) Personally I'm a big fan of the WDTV from Western Digital. It's affordable (around $100) and plays back all kinds of formats in HD up to 1080p. Plus it reads from flash drives or hard drives via USB. You can encode MP4 files for these types of devices in QuickTime, export from FCP, MPEG Streamclip, Compressor, etc.

Data load and out put problem

Hi Experts,
Iam going through a peculiar problem.I have data flowing from R/3 to master data Info provider 0Requi. I have validated the data between R/3 and the master data info provider, it is found to be good. This data is being loaded from 0Requi to a staging write optimized DSO. there are routines in the Transformations for the DSO. when I check and compare the data, I found that out of 625 records in the Source only 599 were available in the target, and out of 599 records 17 records are duplicate and 29 records have not been populated from source to target.
Any help to solve the issue will be highly appreciated and thanked with suitable points.

There was nothing in the error stack. Sy_Subrc in the routine was giving the problem. It has been rectified and the Data is loading fine in the development system.
Now I am in another peculiar situation.
The routines, after debugging, are working good in the development system but after transporting to Quality system for testing, they are failing there. Iam facing the same old problem there again. The transports are checked, they were done properly. The ABAPer is satisfied with the transported code. If you can then please guide me.Iam closing this thread and opening a new thread with Subject as " In different behavior of Routines"

Synchronisation problems after crash

people at our office look at their palm as their master in synchronisation => as CoT or OraCal Synchronisation does not support all the features of the PalmOS (for example an event with more than 1 person is watched differently in PalmOS etc.).
All the informations of the calendar are saved at our server. Is there a possibility to have a backup of all calendar events (not on the server and not offline) locally?
The problem occurs when having an event with different people or ressources. PalmOS does not understand an event with more than one person or ressources.
After a crash, PalmOS synchronises with the Calendar. The events with more than one person or ressources have to be completed by hand.
hope this is not to confusing ;-)

Strange file transfer problems after crash

Old computer crashed, bought new old computer saved old hard drive containing old installation of Itunes and used that drive on new computer in the same position as it was in old. Installed Itunes in the same directory as it was before crash. Most of my files, video, text, music all loaded and transformed just fine....except photos. When it started the sync it went part way through the process and then stopped with an error message that said: "This ipod (Ipod Touch) cannot sync because of an unknown error (-39).
As a result, two new photos that I was moving to a new directory are no longer there, sorta...the ipod touch now shows a black space where the two pics thumbnails in question were. One of them still comes up with the pic when you click on the black thumbnail but the other simply opens an all black screen.
I attempted to remove and re-install Itunes but the problem remained. I also attempted to remove all setup files, temp files etc. but still no luck. I tried removing ALL the photos and re-inserting in the affected category but the same warning and now ALL the thumbnails in that directory are black (but still show up in full size when you click on the thumbnail or click through the listing arrows the pics still show up (except the one totally black one). Not sure what to do at this point.

That one can be caused by a damaged photo cache, Orion. If you delete your photo cache as per the following document:

... can you then get your photo syncs to work correctly?

Out Put Problem in Sales Order

i created a sales order , but prinit out is not generating automatically for one particular customer, rest of customers ok , it's working fine
and when i assign output type BA00 manually in sales order , system throwing error
"Requirements are not checked with manual create"
message no :Message no. VN085
Hint: <b>this error is only for this particular customer</b>

Out put problem

Hi experts,
i have a problem with my script, my script name is zmodify_form, my report name is zmodify and the trancation code of the script is zmodify, if i make any changes in form (allignments and formats) i can see the changes that made by me in printing test . But when i execute the tcode it shows the same existing screen. wat can i do for this?

Still frame on out put monitor after seq sent from color

Hi, I am sending back to fcp from color and then I render in fcp but the file will play on desktop fine but not out to monitor as it did before going to color, why is this dose color change the format I have check and the format is the same and the seq setting.
2nd question I have some clips I would like to change in a sent seq from color to fcp can I just replac then in the time line and send to editor , what is the best work flow , thanks in advance for any help.

Color only renders into certain codecs so there is a good chance that the codec you sent to Color from final cut is different than the one Color rendered into. For example, if you send HDV to Color you will either get back ProRes or Uncompressed. If you have you FCP setup for HDV and you try and play back a ProRes or Uncompressed timeline you will only see still images in your broadcast monitor.
For your second question, assuming I understand you correctly, I would make a new sequence in FCP that only contains the new shots and send that sequence to Color.
