Outlook Calendar synch but ONLY have the past 1Yr appointments

Ok got this really annoying bug here:
I've always sync'ed the COMPLETE calendar from my outlook to my iPhone but recently I noticed that on iPhone it only kept my calendar from Jan 2012. (roughly one year) Having said that, in my iTunes i did NOT tick 'do not sync events oler than 'x' days' and chose sync ALL calendars.
Yet this is still happening. I know I can select Calendar on Advance so that it will replace the calendar on the iPhone w/ information from my outlook but it takes FOREVER. More importantly I want to know why this happened repeatedly and more importantly how to prevent this from happening again?
I first noticed this a week ago so I bit the bullet and "replace calendar information on the iPhone w/ data from PC's outlook" and that took HOURS.
I have iP5 w/ 64Gb and outlook 2010 on Win7. Any hint please.

I too am having the same issue - after the Apple Store assured me that this issue was resolved (my video iPod always causes an error report in outlook). I moved from an 8125 where I had numerous inboxs from multiple servers all on one handset - this is pretty disappointing. HTTP mail is not supported (at least MS), and can I sync my iPhone between multiple workstations (not music but contacts calendars and bookmarks like a CE machine or a PDA?!?

Well actually it would be a DVD given the size, which is what Adobe used before they went to download. Most PCs and Macs have stopped shipping with DVD drives and downloads are the way to go, especially with fast connections.
If you open the Adobe .dmg file on a Mac, the installer actually mounts as a virtual DVD.
So yes, better to download and save it to an external drive. If a DVD got damaged, you would have had to order and wait for the replacement disc to arrive. Now anything from CS3 to CC 2014 can be downloaded from Adobe, no replacement charges and no shipping.

IPhone 4 in recovery mode after failed update with most recent software (3/25/13), I only have the past 30 days worth of photos and my contacts in iCloud, how do I get the rest of my pictures off of my phone? I have read the apple article already.

Basically headline says it all, my phone is in recovery mode following a failed update through the phone and I want all my photos back. I have already read the "iOS: Unable to Update or Restore" and it indicates that when restoring through iTunes, you lose all data on the phone. I have checked my iCloud (I am a Windows7 user so uploading does not happen automatically, as I unfortunately just figured out) and it only will upload my past 30 days of photos and contacts, inline with what I've read about the cloud only storing 30 days of your past data. I really would like to get all of my photos off of my phone, I had photostream activated and most were in that stream. Is there anything I can do? I don't know what operating system is on there currently, but I have always updated my phone succesfully until today when this happened, so I'm assuming whatever is most up to date until today is the OS it has. When your phone is in recovery mode, it's like it crashed. The only way that you can get it out of recovery mode is by restoring, and this erases all your data as well.
You can believe what you wish by "reading all over the internet". This is Apple's technical support forum. We do know what we're talking about.
since you have very important photos on your phone, why haven't you been importing them to your computer as soon as possible after taking them? This is how the phone is meant to be used. Keeping critical data on only a device which can be easily stolen, dropped and broken is just plain foolish. Also, did you not back up your phone (as you should be doing with any computer) before attempting any operating system update? As you've now just painfully learned, updates do not always go as planned.
I'm sorry for your data loss, but let this be a very important lesson. BTW, when was the last time you backed up your computer? I'm sure you have important data on your computer. Hard drives WILL fail.

Hello, I've lost my iPhone 4s which is black, contains 16gb and cracked screen. I have been looking in and out of the internet. Since i found my serial number can i somehow locate the phone? I know the app Find my lost iPhone. But only problem is i didnt connect it to my iphone when i had it. Its technically not my phone anymore (use it for my ipod)

If you did not activate Find my iPhone then you've truly lost it. Unless, of course, you or someone else finds it? There is no way using the serial number and before you ask the IMEI number.

Why does icloud create its own calendars in outlook? i would like it to simply sync with my existing outlook calendar so i only have one. now, i have three--one outlook, and two ical calendars.

i had the same problem with MobileMe. iCloud creates new calendars in outlook that match the calendars i have on ical on my home mac computer.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

I have a photosmart plus B209a but when I scan into my PC i only have the option of sending it to p

B209a when I scan a document into my computer I only have the option of sending it into my pictures, I cannot send it to documents or to Adobe reader. As this is not something I need very often but once in awhile I need to convert a document into PDF format but now I cannot do that and I do not want to pay for Adobe reader in order to covert into PDF.
I used to be able to scan and send it in Email but now I cannot even do that even if I save it as a file.
Any suggestions please. My computer is pavilion Elite HPE 150f using IE8 windows 7 64 bit purchased last April.

I had a nasty problem a week or so ago (nothing to do with your issue). I decided to reset the iPad back to factory level. I then restored it using a backup that I had made before the problem. Turns out that I did not need to do that but,......finally getting to the point , I started with 7.2 GB free and wound up with 8.4 GB free. I did not lose anything and I have no clue what caused me to recover that space. In any event, I am babbling on about this in case it might be of help to you.
Oh, I do know some apps cache stuff, but very few allow you to clear that cache.

Office 365 Reporting Web Service Message Trace - It says it can get the past 30 days but i can only get the past 7 days

PowerShell’s "Get-MessageTrace" cmdlet only returns the past 7 days as well. PowerShell also has
an alternative cmdlet called "Start-HistoricalSearch" which returns the MessageTrace results between 7 and 90 days old.
Is it supposed to return 30 days, or is the documentation wrong, or is their an alternative report (like
PowerShell) to get MessageTrace results for over 7 days using the Office 365 Reporting Web Service?
Note: I'm aware that the results are returned in batches of 2000 MessageTrace results.

That document is pretty old last modified March 2013 so I would say it's out of date. The reporting services are still pretty new in the current release I believe 7 days is limit for the Rest Endpoint and the Get-MessageTrace cmdlet (which is what
the more recent documentation around message tracking say) there is no REST endpoint for Start-HistoricalSearch you can see all the current endpoints by looking at the Metadata via

These services are evolving so new features and reports are added which is explained in
