OWB 10gR2 Does not support DML Error Logging
I've just had this confirmed by support.
So Oracle's key ETL tool does not support 10gR2s key ETL feature DML Logging.
So far set based loads on large volume databases you are going to find yourself being tripped over into row by row processing.
I find this staggering.
Has anyone else found this?
Oracle has come back to us saying that
"DML error logging feature is not supported for distributed DML."

"Your browser does not support applets" Error
No matter what site I go to I get a Box with a small red x in it, instead of the applet. I have removed all versions of Java. Reinstalled IE7 to the latest version. And reinstalled Java to the latest version. I've checked the settings in both the IE options and the Java control panel to make sure it is enabled. The OS is Windows XP SP2. Any thoughts as to what may be causing the issue.

"Dual Core Center does not support" error msg on K9N Platinum
Hi,
I just formated my system and installed all the drivers as I usually do. Last thing I installed was the Dual Core center. I cant make it run as I get "Dual Core Center does not support!" error message. I have an Athlon64 X2 4200+ with the latest cpu driver from AMD web site. Any idea on how I could make Dual Core Center work?
Thank you.Oh ok.
Well on the CD there is a Core Center, but on the site if you go deep into the specific motherboard download section there is a Dual Core Center. I guess it is for dual CPUs.
I've download the AMD X2 Driver. I just wanted to use the Cool'N'Quiet option, since I was told that I needed the "Core Center" for that. -
Inst-08072 operating system does not support ipv4
While installing obiee 11g, I get "inst-08072 operating system does not support ipv4" error. I changed hosts file and defined a loopback adapter.
But still it is not working. Do you have any supposal for the problem?what is your OS? which version of OBIEE are you trying to install? did you install loopback adapter? generally this will occur in 2 cases which i have seen personally, if the right loopback adapter is not installed or not configured and hosts files is not configured properly. i would suggest you to re-visit them once again and see.
you can also try to install loopback adapter from here https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708322(v=ws.10).aspx for configuration follow this https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708341(v=ws.10).aspx
how does your hosts file look? can you paste the contents here for eg: xxx.xxx.xx.xxx hostname localhost -

Hi,
i am getting small problems with OWB regarding DML error logging. i was followed this link
http://blogs.oracle.com/warehousebuilder/newsItems/viewFullItem$184
i was created error table using DBMS_ERRLOG.CREATE_ERROR_LOG and i was assigned that table name in error table name property.
* the Error table name property is set for the operator (table/view/mv)
* the PL/SQL Generated Mode of the module that contains the mapping is set to 10gR2
and above or Default.
i was followed according to the instruction but i am not able to get desired output. can any one suggest me where i am wrong.
i am using set based PL/SQL mapping.
warehouse builder repository 10.2.0.1.0
regards,
kumari am also facing same problem. is there any way to handle errors in 10.2.0.1.
same as above. capture all the failed records in to error table in 10.2.0.1

IE11/Win 8.1 error 'Your client does not support opening this list in windows explorer'
I hoping someone might be able to help with this frustrating issue.
I work on a project where we are using various versions of on-line SharePoint (2007/O365). In order to quickly drag and drop folders we need to often open the document libraries by using the 'open in windows explorer view'.
Using the same device, on occassion this works. But often it gives a rather unhelpful message 'Your client does not support opening this list in Windows Explorer'.
I've searched for this issue over the net and confirm that the sites are added to the 'trusted' sites area and that the 'remember you credientials' is checked on logging in.However, the searches do not seem to apply to IE11/Win8.1 or on-line version of sharepoint
(the suggested hot fix is not suitable)
Only this morning, using the same device I was able, for a short while to open in explorer view, and then for no apparent reason, it began to display the error message. I had changed nothing regarding settings or even closed the browser.
Do you have any support/ideas/fixes on how to resolve this.
Many thanks
valHi Val,
sometimes an answer can be found on the internet by typing the error message from your computer into your favourite search engine.
eg.
http://www.bing.com/search?q=your+client+does+not+support+opening+this+list+in+windows+explorer&form=IE10TR&src=IE10TR&pc=HPNTDFJS
see
http://blogs.technet.com/b/asiasupp/archive/2011/06/13/error-message-quot-your-client-does-not-support-opening-this-list-with-windows-explorer-quot-when-you-try-to-quot-open-with-explorer-quot-on-a-sharepoint-document-library-in-office-365-site.aspx
follow the directions given above.... you need to add the domains to your Intranet sites list, not the Trusted sites list.
Perhaps you already have it mapped to your intranet zone....in which case make sure that you have unchecked "Enable Enhance Protected Mode" on the Intranet zone dialog in Internet Options.
If this is happening 'randomly' on client machines, then users are probably changing their internet security settings in Internet Options. Ensure they are accepting the default.... Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".
Consult with your system administrators to find out if they are applying a custom security template for the Intranet zone... It may be removing the sharepoint domains from the client Intranet zone's domains lists.
HTH.

Dg4odbc to MySQL update errors: "does not support IS NULL in this context"
I am having a problem with 'where x is null' clauses in update statements to MySQL from 11g, using dg4odbc. Updates using the clause 'where x is null' return errors like this:
ORA-02070: database PLAZAHOST does not support IS NULL in this context
The rejected queries never get to mysql. Furthermore, I noticed that select statements with 'where x is null' show up in the mysql query log with the where clause stripped out, although correct results are returned to SQLPlus. It looks as though 'where x is null' is stripped off by dg4odbc, which subsequently applies a secondary filter to the results received from MySQL.
Note, both statements above work properly when issued from the MySQL client.
Has anybody seen this? It's a big problem for me, but I can't find any references to other people having the same problem, so I assume I've got something misconfigured -- but I don't know what.
I'm using MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver, MySQL 5.1 Community Edition, and Oracle 11g R1 all running on a 32-bit Windows server.
Thank you -- rick

So thze select will work as it is handled internally in the Oracle database. This also means as But "is null" isn't sent to the foreign MySQL db the update clause will fail with ORA-02070: database PLAZAHOST does not support IS NULL in this context

I am attempting to connect to a Microsoft Sharepoint library, via the "Actions -> Open in Windows Explorer" option from the Sharepoint page. When I do so, I get the error message "your client does not support opening this list with windows explorer". In short, I am trying to get the "drag and drop" functionality of a Sharepoint library.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit and IE8. The target Sharepoint environment is a MOSS 2007 EE. My Windows "WebClient" service is running, and I have no problem connecting to this exact library via a Windows XP computer running IE8.Verify that the Webclient is started automatically from the Services.msc
Verify that your Portal is in the Intranet local security zone (You can reach it from Your Internet Explorer Browser Security Tag) if not add it to the list
restart the WebClient service if it's work good
If not you have to create a network share to your portal URL directly not your documents library.
Open Windows Explorer or My Computer from the Windows Start Menu.
From the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive…. A new Map Network Drive window opens.
In the Map Network Drive window, choose an available drive letter from the dropdown list located next to the "Drive:" option. Any drives already mapped will have a shared folder name displayed inside the dropdown list, next to the drive letter.
Type the name of the folder to map wich is in this case your SharePoint Portal URL (Don't include the documents libraries)
Click the "Reconnect at login" checkbox if this network drive should be mapped permanently. Otherwise, this drive will un-map when the user logs out of this computer.
If the remote computer that contains the shared folder requires a different username and password to log in, click the "different user name" hyperlink to enter this information.
Click Finish.

When I log in I get this message I keep getting the following error message---"We're sorry but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar."
Also, I can seem to down load my Adobe Flash, I did download what I thought was the correct down load for Safari, but I'm still getting this message "We're sorry but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar." I was even going to purchase the Leopard for 29.99 to see would this solve my problem but I want to purchase another pc and sale this one, can you help me?
Thank youSee this link.

I enabled Soft Delete on one of my Azure Mobile Services tables, and ever since then, the logs are flooded with tons of warnings that say something like this:
The table 'Section' does not support the 'deleted' system property.
Is there a way to suppress these warnings, or is it advisable to enable soft delete for all of my tables?
As a follow on, is there a way to export the logs so that it's easier to peruse through them and search?
Thanks :)Hi
You can set your logging level in Azure Admin portal to be Error only, so it only logs errors and warnings will be ignored.

This should be considered a temporary fix. It will saturate your Internet connection during periods of WSUS downloads in this configuration.
The correct and permanent fix should be to resolve the failure of your perimeter device to properly support the HTTP v1.1 protocol specification (which is now some 14 years old).
Either your device is misconfigured, or it needs a firmware update to support the full specification.

HT5271 I get error message that my version of Safari does not support community tool bar?
Everytime I open Safari I get an error message that saids This version of Safari does not support the community tool bar. How can I fix this situation?
That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
If you are running Tiger or Leopard:
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
/Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
Library/Application support/conduit plugins
Also, as mentioned by Gilli2000:
Library/Receipts - If you read it, it has information in it at the bottom referring extensively to "CT" and "community toolbar".
Maybe it is harmless, but trash those items anyway!
If you are running Lion:
From the Finder Menu bar, select Go ▹ Go to Folder, and in the box that opens write:
~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
Delete the second item if it is there.
Now select Go to Folder again and enter /Library
From the folder that opens, delete the following items if they are there (you may need your login password):
Application Support/Conduit
InputManagers/CTLoader
LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax
then close the folder. Now select Go to Folder again and write: /Applications/Toolbars
Delete that item and close the Finder windows you opened. Log out then log back in, and you should be rid of it.
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery. -
Error -11040 Driver does not support this function- Informix SE db
Hello,
Weu2019re getting an error -11040 "Driver does not support this function" when trying to connect to an ODBC data source to an InformixSE database. This is with Crystal 2010 and 2008 on a Windows XP sp2 box. Weu2019re trying to use the ODBC(RDO) choice for a new connection.
The Informix ODBC driver has been loaded. We tried 3 versions, the 2.40 and 3.70(latest) ones from IBM, and one that I believe came with Crystal (CR xxxx). I tried turning on the ODBC trace file, but it didnu2019t write anything to the log. We are supplying the same log in credentials as with Excel.
The Informix database we use is Informix SE (Standard Engine) v5.10 on separate machine running Unix (Aix) with the Informix-Net daemon running to handle odbc connectivity. We are able to connect from Excel to the Informix database.
I donu2019t know what ODBC function Crystal may be expecting from the driver that it doesnu2019t seem to support and how to tell Crystal to not need it.
Thanks,
MikeHi Mike,
According to the Platforms for DB support we only support these Informix data sources:
IDS (Informix Dynamic Server) 11.50 32 bit 64 bit Linux AIX Solaris
IDS IDS Client 11.5 Direct Direct Not Supported Not Supported Not Supported
ODBC IBM Informix ODBC SDK 3.50 Direct Direct Direct Direct Direct
ODBC DataDirect ODBC 6.0 SP2 (10) Direct Direct Direct Direct Direct
You may want to try the Data Direct 6.x drivers as a test.
CR in the .NET IDE is running under 32 bit mode so make sure you are using the 32 bit Client.

I am repeatedly and unexpectedly logged-out from my mail box when working on a document. It frequently happens when I choose Send or Save, but it could happen any time. The file that I worked on disappears completely. Before, the file could be found in the draft box or some other place categorized as Auto Recovery. Now, instead, I get the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error." I am working at home, connected to a university server. The same problem appears with both of my computers, which are connected by a router. I have a MacBook Pro and am working with Firefox 6.0.2. I have a wireless broadband connection with Internet. AirPort is connected to Lindstrom and has IP address 192.168.0.198. Router: D-Link Model DIR-635. Modem: ZyXEL Model No. 660H D Triple Play Modem.
Best wishes,

<[email protected]>Hi Phil,
Generally, when a user sends an incoming request to an Exchange 2010 Client Access server using Outlook Web App and the user’s mailbox is on an Exchange 2010 mailbox in a different Active Directory site,
Exchange 2010 determines whether the Client Access server has the
ExternalURL property set in that Active Directory site. If it is and the cross-site silent redirection has been enabled, the user will be automatically redirected to the specified URL.
Thus, please make sure the External URL property is set properly in your environment. And also
disable the WindowsAuthentication for OWA VD to have a try. If the issue persists, please try the following KB to reset the Outlook Web Access-related virtual directories:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941201
Thanks,
Winnie Liang

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the ExternalURL is set; otherwise, it wouldn't work at all. 98% of the time everything is fine.
My issue described a problem that appears only during session timeouts. I've pretty much verified that this is the case; Exchange 2010 does not appropriately handle the timeouts sometimes when using cross-site redirection.

Configuration of third-party router
Hello, I'm trying to configure a router in place of my BT Home Hub. I am pretty sure it has to be PPPoE because it's ethernet out the back of the Home Hub. I tried what was posted on these forums, I used [email protected] with 'bt' as the password.
