Package assignment while creating AET feild

hi expert,
while creating AET feild ,on click of new feild ,it prompts for a window to select object part.
But here the package feild is balnk nad disbled.In dev system we have already created a package,but unable to assign it herer.
Can you please help.

Recon Accounts assignment while creating a new GL Account

Hey everybody,
I was wondering if there is any global rule to which accounts should be selected as Recon A/c while creating a GL master in fs00. From my point of understanding the only Recon A/c's are Accounts Receivable as recon account :Customer and Accounts Payable as recon account: Vendor! So in which situation do we select Recon account : Asset or Recon account: Contract Account Receivable?
If you could please help me figure this out, I would greatly appreciate.

General ledger is the main accounting record of a business which uses double-entry bookkeeping. In SAP, the central task of G/L accounting is to provide a comprehensive picture for external accounting and accounts. Reconciliation Accounts are G/L accounts that receive postings from a subsidiary ledgers. Meaning, transactions data are not posted directly to recon accounts. Example of recon accounts are Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets G/L. For accounts receivable G/L the subsidiary ledger is the customer account. All transactions with the customers are posted directly to the customer account and the recon account is automatically updated. How this thing happen? Well, when you create a customer account you specify under the Company Code data the reconciliation account.

Fixed value assignment while creating Domain

While creating a Domain with data type 'CHAR', No. characters 13, in Value Range > Fixed Value i had given 'TEST_MATERIAL' but it only takes first 10 Characters (TEST_MATER). I wan to display all characters.
how can I solve it.

Hi here the problem is not your length.
The standarad SAP length for the value field is 10. So even if your domain has length more than 10 the value field cannot accomodate that length.
So no option ... you must go for Value Table.
Also the fixed ranges are mostly for numbers... tht's why they have fixed the max length as 10 which is large in case of numbers...
Better to go for Value Table. I have tried that and is working fine.

Issue with the Package/request while creating service from function module

Hi
I'm creating a service form a function module. After the web service creator starts, There is a last step that asks for package and transport request. If i choose local objects, showing error as "Test Objects cannot be created in foriegn namespaces. If i give the package as it is in the attributes of the function module and transport request, showing error as " No tasks exists under the request. What is transport request??
please if anyone has recently done such a process with NetWeaver PI 7.1. help me..

You have to create a package for your objectsin SE80 transaction.
How?

Then assign this package name in your webservice creation.
When asked for a transaport request, create one(You will find a create transport request inthe pop up which prompts you for creation of transport request).

Account assignment while creating reservation using bapi

there is not field to assign the account assignment in Bapi..
you need to assignt he account manaually.
Assign account assignment category.
    SELECT * FROM eban INTO TABLE lt_eban WHERE banfn = w_banfn .

        lt_eban-knttp = 'J'.    "assign your own account categeory

Message as Deliveries not assigned while creating shipment document

Dear Friends,
I have created delivery document with TC VL01n.Document is saved but PGI has not done.
Now I am creating shipment document with TC VT01n.I have selected delivery document from the drop down list.After entering Delivery document no I get a message saying total of deliveries not assigned.
What could be the reason ? and how to correct it?

Hi Srikanth,
There are certain settings for shipment to get carried on like transportation should be relevant for Route, Delivery Types & Delivery item Categories.... Kindly check whether all of these are relevant for Transporation and then carry out picking for your particular delivery and then try creating shipment document....

Trouble while creating package for extraction

I am working on generic extraction using views.
I was told that after selecting a view when I save the data source I cannot save using a local package as it cannot be transported. Hence I am trying to create a new package.
So I have opened a new session, entered T code se80 to create a new package.
While creating a package I selected Home as software component and in the Package type box I select Not a main package. The package got created but when I am saving the data
1 I am getting the screen "Create DataSource for Transactn data YBW1" where YBW1 is my data source name.
2. The message in the screen reads as "Customer object TABLZOXD30092 cannot be assigned to package RSUM"
I don't understand why is it saying ".... cannot be assigned to package RSUM" when the name of my package is zcss
3. However I hit on the continue button then the screen "Create Object Directory Entry" screen opened and in the Package box RSUM appears.
4.I have deleted RSUM and entered ZCSS and when I hit on the save button I am getting the screen Create Object Directory Entry with the message Cannot extend package ZCSS
5. I had cancelled the above screen and then I get message "Customer object TABLZOXD30092 cannot be assigned to package RSUM"
Can any one please explain me how to create this package while going for generic extraction using views?

When you create a Development Class make sure the
Transport Layer is pointing to your DEV system.
If it does not then you create a non transport Class.
You can go to SE80 and load your newly created Class
and make sure it is pointing to your DEV sys.

Package while creating Zfield

Hi Experts,
While creating Zfield using AET a pop up is asking for Package...but i can't choose/enter any package since the field is in display mode.Please guide me here.

We have three options to create a field using AET.
1) We can have the Workcenter in the Nav Bar Profile
2) Clicking on Create New Field button in the UI config Tool
3) Clicking on Show Enhancements in UI config tool and then
click on Create New Field in the AET window.
I guess you are using the second option right now. What you do is
go for the third option by clicking the Show Enhancements button
in the UI Config Tool and then click on New Field button.
Now it allows you to give the package name.
If you still face the issue to enter the package name then go to
tcode AXTSYS-> give a z package and execute.
Now re-login to your webUI and try. You will get it.
AXTSYS is just used to enable the AET settings. If you are
on a support project then you should not face this issue
as someone else would have done this during implementation.

Error while creating a PO with Account assignment

HI MM Gurus
In our case, we need to create the STO for account assignment cat `Unknown`.
In SPRO I maintained combination of account assign cat and item cat.
Now, while creating a PO with Account assign U we get Error message - ME069 :Unknown account assignment not defined for use here.
Please advise how to resolve this issue.

When you are posting actuals, you need to give true account assignment object. With U (unknown), system cannot identify which account to be posted. Change account assignment in PO to another.
In standard SAP Unknown account assignment is not allowed in PO's. Only exception is Blanket PO.
Unknown is allowed only in PR and Blanket PO.
The reason is logically you are releasing the PO to the external vendor or Plant in this case you must know the account assignment.

Version error while creating info package of data source 0fi_gl_10

I have replicated the data source 0fi_gl_10 into sap bw but while creating info package i am getting error " The DataSource 0FI_GL_10(E01CLNT200) does not exist in object version A". IS the manual activation always should be done for that ?

Hi,
Please check if the veriosn of DataSource is A or not. Sometimes it shows as active but if you open the datasource then it might be in modified version only. Do activate it manually, it will serve your purpose to create a infopackge.

ORA-12571 error while creating packages from Windows clients

Hello,
We are facing the ORA-12571 error while creating / replacing packages from Windows Clients connected to a 8.1.7.2.0 db on a Solaris server.
However, there are
1. no errors in connecting and creating transactions from a Sql session
2. no errors in creating / replacing unwrapped/wrapped small (few lines) packages
3. no errors in connecting from a Unix session (remote telnet sessions inclusive).
This happens only when creating wrapped/unwrapped packages, source code of which is greater than 500 kb approx.
Can somebody help me resolve this issue. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I had unintentionally left my custom tablespace in READONLY state after an earlier experiment with transportable tablespaces. After putting the tablespace back into READ WRITE mode and creating a new template, I was successfully able to create a new db from the template.
I'm still a little curious why this procedure wouldn't work properly with a READONLY tablespace, however.

I have actived infocube 0FIAR_C03 in BI content. Ago, The creation infopackage have been deleted in the past , today, I created a infopackage, while I update mode selected u2018initialize delta processu2019, then click save button , the system prompt u2018Deltas already loaded for request REQU_D64R47LDUSZHY9CBIB86WMLFJ init.selection; no 2. initu2019, I canoti save it for my setting. Why is this?
Then I have search cause in SDN, and I have reference OSS Note 852443 to do .
Note 852443 have mention some table: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL、ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF.
I have to delete that request of record using se16 in these tables: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL.
in my BI 7.0 system, ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF is no any data.
I was no found delta queue in RSA7.
Now . Dump error while creating or double click the info package, how can I change this?
Please let me know the solution.

Hi Gurus,
Can I put a check while creating PRs for account assignment category K, that only statistical order number range is allowed.
In other words, user should not be allowed to put any internal order other than statistical order in PR, while creating it with account assignment category K..

Hi,
You can check on business transaction RMBA - it's the purchase requisition. Set it to prerequisites and for the validation select the order type (it's better than a number range - I believe you use different order types for real/statistical I/O) from AUFK (you will see this structure as available, when creating a validation). If you do use the same order type, then check on I/O itself COBL-AUFNR.

Assigning Manufacturer while creating a batch from COR1 or MIGO etc.

I am creating a new batch while creating a process order using COR1 or MIGO.
When i click on the NEW button, the batch is automatically created and we get a new batch number.
Now at this time of creation of a new batch, i want to assign some Manufacturer value for that batch under the Classification tab.
Is there any user exit or badi for this task?

Error while creating Multiple Items Shopping Cart with Asset Assignment

Hi All,
I am creating Shopping Cart with multiple items for different Assets.
Example: I have Two Assets (Asset A with the budget of $1000 and Asset B with the Budget of $1500) in the back end system.
Asset A assigned to Order 102649996 (value - $1000) and Asset B is assigned to Order 102645121 (Value - $1500).
I am trying to create Shopping Cart with Two Items for Asset A and Asset B (which are available in Back End).
I created First item (001) in the Shopping Cart for Asset A and Value $750.
I copied the First Item Details to Second Item (002) and changed the Asset as B and Value $1000.
When I click on Check tab in Shopping Cart Browser, the SRM System is giving the Error Message like
Item 001 Order 102649996 budget exceeded
Item 002 Order 102649996 budget exceeded
I am getting the above error, only when I copy the first item details to the second item while creating Shopping Cart.
Actually the Budget is not exceeded (Asset A Budget is $1000 - First Item and Asset B Budget is $1500 - Second Item) and SRM system is taking the order 102649996 (which is assigned to the Asset A) for the Second Item 002 also.
Kindly let me know the Solution or Please let me know do we have any OSS note to resolve the issue.

Hi. It is a "feature" of SRM.
I asked SAP about it and did not get a good response.
If you enter Asset A, it will copy the internal order number from that asset into the cart. You can not see the internal order in the web, but you can see it in BBP_PD.
If you then change the asset to asset B, it will not refresh the internal order number.
This means you get internal order A on asset B.
It happens any time you change asset number, so if you copy a line then change you will get this problem.
We ended up using the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to RFC into R/3 and update the internal order number.
