Page up and down buttons nor working in preview

Changes to preview seem to prevent the recognition of the page-up and page0down buttons.
How do I fix this or report it as a bug to apple?

Strangely, for me, the page up works, but page down doesn't.
The arrow keys seem to work, but muscle memory always goes to page up/down.
Pretty irritating.

You can customize the tool bar like any other program. You are given a standard basic set of tool bar buttons and you can customize it as needed.

MacBook, page up or down buttons? Are there any?

or do you just use the pad. My fingers keep going for it...I don't think there are any page up and down buttons.

Also in some apps the Command(key next to space bar)-up/down arrow acts as page up and page down.

Page Up and Down keys won't work - have tried everything

My Page Up and Down keys won't work. I've tried hitting F7, the Fn key, checked that the "Always use cursor keys to navigate" box is not selected in the Advanced Options tab and made sure that the "Use autoscrolling" tab is selected. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, tried hitting buttons F1 through to F12 and then checked that accessibility.warn_on_browsewithcaret is set to 'true'.
It also won't work in Internet Explorer - I have no idea what else to try. My Up/Down arrows are working, just not the Page Up/Page Down buttons. Please help, this is driving me nuts. It's only just started happening; I've never had a problem with it before!

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

basically it seems that the f11 button is dead cause i can't make shortcut to this button anymore..
i had the maverick osx and i install some vst for ableton before that happend but i make format the disk and clean install the osx lion and it doesn't fix the problem.. any help ??

Very simple take it to an Apple Store or AASP and have it professionally diagnosed. Anything else would be guessing. Do NOT spend a penny on it until it is professionaly diagnosed otherwise you stand and excellent chance of throwing good money after bad.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
    1.    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
    2.    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    3.    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    4.    Open iTunes.
    5.    Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Okay before my ipod power and volume buttons werent working but i never dropped it, then one day i was in a app and my ipod froze so i held the home button down and the screen went a bright green color and isnt showing up in itunes

okay I just recently bought a ipod touch 4thG and im already having issues. recently the power and volume buttons stopped working after i syncd my ipod, i shrugged it off figuring it would come back i could live without it. but today I was on my ipod while it was charging and the screen just froze so i pressed and held the home button (being that's the only button that actually works) then the screen turned this bright yellowish lime green color and its not responding to ANYTHING! my computer isnt even reading it when i plug it up into itunes! so what should i do? can anyone help me? i feel like i just wasted $200...

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

hi. Am i being really stupid but if you hold the up or down buttons on a macbook pro keyboard it doesnt scroll up and down the page? if you keep pressing the buttons it does or press the fn button together with the up or down arrows it works as it does with the touch pad mouse.
Just thought that like an a pc laptop the up and down buttons would scroll up and down a page by holding them down which my macbook pro doesn"t.
Am i right or do i have a faulty keyboard?

i have figured out the answer. In system preferences the keboard options were set as long/slow. now i have adjusted them to very fast and my kepboard is responsive again. cant believe i was so dumb!

Volume down button stopped working Acer Liquid E700

Dear reader, I have an Acer Liquid E700 for about 3 months now. Suddenly the volume down button stopped working. I didn't do anything strange with the phone, but I think the problem started to appear right after I detached/attached the back case (but I don't think anything went wrong there). The volume down button is neither working for the volume, nor the screenshot option. I have the latest system update on the phone and the rest of the phones buttons work fine. I have an Apple Pro keyboard ( the one with a numeric keypad on the right side) for an iMac and a wireless mouse. Using the keyboard is VERY confusing. There are many documents and lots of pages on the different key combinations to use for different functions but I could not find one clear document that explains what certain keys do and/or show how to accomplish certain functions... I am a a very frustrated new Apple (formerly Windows) user astonished that I company that is supposedly delivering user friendly, easy to use products provides a keyboard that one cannot figure out.
1. Page Up and Down in Mail
I have some imported mailboxes with a few hundred Emails which I have to mark "read". I could use the Page Down functionality to quickly highlight all messages in a mailbox but could not locate anything that actually works. Apple's document at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5636?viewlocale=en_US indicates that pressing 9 (with Num Lock off) provides Page Down. Num Lock appears to be the Clear key. When I tried to press Clear it deleted messages and no combination worked with 9 ...
I tried all other suggestions from other discussions but nothing worked.

I'd appreciate an explanation of what this key is really supposed to do in different applications.
3. Print Screen

MY page up and down key does not what its suppose to do but now instead it goes forward or back a web page

Seems like since I installed the new Firefox my Page up and down key has stopped making my web pages go down or up but instead the page up key makes the web page go forward in history and the page down key makes it go back a webpage.

Lumia 720 volume down button not working

Hey buddies, I'm using lumia 720 and often i get this volume down button not working.
I changed the button by giving it in nokia care for 3times and still im facing the same problem.
And also noticed that this is happening to most of the lumia 720's.
so kindly look into it and rectify the problem as soon as possible.
If there is any solution for this, kindly reply me.

Your only solution would be to return the unit back to nokia care for inspection,if there is a recurring issue with this im sure nokia would be aware of it now,and it could be a slight manufacturing defect which again would be looked into.

Page Up and Down with space bar

After I installed Safari 3.0.5, when I press the space bar typing this post, the web page goes down. I want to know if somebody else get the same problem, and how do I prevent that? or maybe is a new bug.
With Safari 3.0.4 this keyboard shortcut works ok. (page up and down) but not when typing.

I have the same problem. Everytime i hit the spacebar in this text box, the browser tries to scroll down and looks like flashing.
Is there any fix for this? It happens in every web page with text box (including the google search box).

Did you try unplugging the unit from power, leaving it for ten minutes, then plugging in again?

Sound and brightness buttons dont work anymore

my sound and brightness buttons dont work any more unless I hold down the function button. This happened after I downloaded the new update I think. Is there any key combination that I could have hit that made this happen?

Go to System Preferences->KeyBoard & Mouse->KeyBoard and make sure "Use the F1-F12 keys to control software featues" is off. It probably got turned on somehow by the update.
