Go to >Tools>Options>Advanced and uncheck the "Use Autoscrolling" and "Always use the cursor keys to navigate..."

In printing only a specific selected section, the top line or 2 of the printout is not printing. This only happened since the last update. It does not happen when I use internet explorer.

I read many financial documents during the day. I sometimes print only a selected segment of an article or a financial statement. When I print selected only, the top line or 2 lines is omitted from the print document. It does not happen in explorer.
I used Firefox for years, and this just started in the last 3 weeks or so. I can get around it by just selecting 2 lines above what I want to print. But, it is annoying.

Activex (.ocx) file does not install unless installed through Internet Explorer

Please fix this Adobe... I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why it was not installing the activex (.ocx) file when I installed it through firefox or chrome. Low and behold if you install it through Internet Explorer than it installs the activex file. Other programs use the activex (.ocx) file.

It doesn't matter if you download the installers from Firefox, or IE, or whatever browser.
There are two installers:
one for IE that installs the ActiveX control
one for other browsers that installs the plugin

OK - I just did the update and now when I bring up a second screen the Back Page, Reload and Stop loading does not work. So I guess I'll install the previous version. Anyone else having this problem?

You have to download and run the upgrader then launch iPhoto. Go to the utilities folder in Applications and launch the iPhoto upgrader. Then launch iPhoto and it will upgrade the library

Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If they have then they are bookmarks. You can remove them if you open that link and click the star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and click the Remove button in that dialog.

CS5.5 Trial Page Up and Page Down Not Working

I'm working in CS5.5 and the shortcut keys Page Up and Page Down are not working. I have the standard seting EDIT > KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS > Go to Next Edit Point = Page Down Id. Page Up.
The HOME and END keys are working.
Any tips on how I can get this working?

Yes. I just discovered tha trick.
You're saying the tracks have to be "highlighted", clicked on to target a track.
I'm not one to ever complain about flexibility.
So how does targeting tracks also work when "respond[ing] to the Next/Previous Edit commands"?
There is a trick when editing that by only selecting one or more tracks will help the process?

The copy and paste keyboard commands in the app are controlled by Flash Player, sometimes there are issues with a browser/OS combination, make sure that Flash Player is up to date and if that doesn't help try another web browser.

My up and down arrows as well as page up and page down no longer work properly only when using firefox. Page up and down function more like the "home" and "end" keys as do the arrow keys.

Honestly I'm not sure if these began just after I updated FF to the current release, but it's been happening for at least 2 weeks. The arrow keys and page up and page down keys all work as if I'm pressing the 'home' and 'end' keys on my keyboard. This is only when using FF. Please contact me if you need more clarification. I recently bought some new albums and can't play them on my ipod

I just encountered the same problem on my 2 month old MBPro. I found a work around by changing USB ports. As for the actual cause or the reason why that worked, I dont know. The USB port I was using works fine with my phone or other USB devices.

Firefox menu bar appears- file/edit/history etc but the actual page with the search bar does not appear and is blank

when clicking firefox icon to open the internet, all that appears are the options along the top of the page. the rest of the screen does not appear revealing the desktop picture. The firefox page with the search bar does not appear.
