Pandora message "Pandora believes your browser does not support modern SSL/TLS" and everything seems disabled on the site-how fix?

I have been using Firefox for a long time as my browser and typically play Pandora while at my office most days. For the first time today I received a pop up message "Pandora believes your browser does not support modern SSL/TLS. Consider upgrading your browswer" when I logged on to Pandora. I checked and I am on the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. I am unable to control volume or log out of Pandora now. I did some google searches and found Mozilla disabled ssl3.0 due to a "Poodle" attack. Does that mean that I can no longer use Firefox as my browser when I want to listen to music on Pandora or is there "a fix"? Thanks!

Mozilla Firefox as of Firefox 34 has the vulnerable SSL 3.0 disabled and only allows for TLS 1.0 at minimum to 1.2 now.
https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2014/10/14/the-poodle-attack-and-the-end-of-ssl-3-0/
So Pandora is incorrect if they believe Firefox is not safe to use.
Actually Pandora potentially needs to do a bit of upgrading themselves.

  • "Your browser does not support applets" Error

No matter what site I go to I get a Box with a small red x in it, instead of the applet. I have removed all versions of Java. Reinstalled IE7 to the latest version. And reinstalled Java to the latest version. I've checked the settings in both the IE options and the Java control panel to make sure it is enabled. The OS is Windows XP SP2. Any thoughts as to what may be causing the issue.

  • Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies

    I get this error:
Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies
    Ok, and this means what?!
I just installed The latest MySQL, and PHP... for my server, and the message above is what I get now when I attempt to log into my own server, though localhost, or even 127.0.0.1... Are you telling me that because of this configuration that Safari can't handle the latest of either or both?
Or is there anything else that may be causing the problems? I have it so it accepts cookies from the site only... so there is no excuse as far as I can tell for this bugaboo...
Anyone got a clue, and a sollution in why this is happening at all?

    Hi Matthew,
Do you run/repair Permissions as you'r supposed to before & after updates & installations, wiyh DU.Utility ? Also there is an updates to 10.4.2 for Tiger & two 2005-007 Security updates, though I would advise that you read about those, the first breaks the 64 bit (whatever that may mean is in WikIpedia.com?) *again read about Sec.Updte before installing them.

  • Firefox with GoogleDocs, "Your browser does not allow access to your computer's clipboard." Solution?

This question was asked two months ago and never solved, so I thought I'd bring it up again, as it's new to me and perhaps Firefox has changed since then. I know it's Google, but as it pokes at Firefox, thought I'd take a shot. This is the previous question:
    [[https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/867479?s=firefox+access+to+clipboard&r=3&as=s|Previous question]]
Basically, when using GoogleDocs with a right-click cut/copy and paste, it doesn't function. I get the error message above: "Your browser does not allow access to your computer's clipboard." It's as simply broken as that. I recently had an issue in Firefox with the clipboard that required a system restore to solve, so that may be related.
I have done three different virus/malware scans on my computer, and everything comes back clean. Which it should be, as I'm a very careful user.

Yes, that was the first thing that I tried. I really couldn't get it to do... anything useful at all. So I'm guessing it's somehow different in detail, though the question is the same; Firefox vs. the Windows clipboard. It's difficult of course, when working with Google, to figure out where Firefox's code issues end and Google's overblown invasive code begins.
At any rate, no, that extension did not help. But thank you for the suggestion.
I'm sure that there's a solution out there somewhere....

  • Captivate 7 App packager Browser does not support some of the content message

    Hi
I have succesfully creating a training app using the app packager for IOS (and to a certain extent android), however when you start the app a message starts up saying :"This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view.  Use IE 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later etc. "  The interesting thing is that I am using the latest versions of both safari and chrome?
I checked out the javascript and and althouth there is an "if then" test, clearly it is not testing correctly.  Has someone got a fix for this e.g. modifications to the code to make it work?

  • Since I did the Firefox reset, I try to open my email and it says, Your browser does not accept cookies. I have checked the cookies setting 100 times!

Since I did the Firefox reset, I try to open my email and it says, Your browser does not accept cookies. I have checked and done your suggested setting 100 times!

Note that a reset tries to migrate cookies to the new profile, so if you had previously as problem with cookies then the problem might have been carried over.
If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

  • IE11/Win 8.1 error 'Your client does not support opening this list in windows explorer'

I hoping someone might be able to help with this frustrating issue.
I work on a project where we are using various versions of on-line SharePoint (2007/O365).  In order to quickly drag and drop folders we need to often open the document libraries by using the 'open in windows explorer view'.
Using the same device, on occassion this works.  But often it gives a rather unhelpful message 'Your client does not support opening this list in Windows Explorer'.
I've searched for this issue over the net and confirm that the sites are added to the 'trusted' sites area and that the 'remember you credientials' is checked on logging in.However, the searches do not seem to apply to IE11/Win8.1 or on-line version of sharepoint
(the suggested hot fix is not suitable)
Only this morning, using the same device I was able, for a short while to open in explorer view, and then for no apparent reason, it began to display the error message.  I had changed nothing regarding settings or even closed the browser.
Do you have any support/ideas/fixes on how to resolve this.
    Many thanks
    val

    Hi Val,
sometimes an answer can be found on the internet by typing the error message from your computer into your favourite search engine.
    eg.
    http://www.bing.com/search?q=your+client+does+not+support+opening+this+list+in+windows+explorer&form=IE10TR&src=IE10TR&pc=HPNTDFJS
    see
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/asiasupp/archive/2011/06/13/error-message-quot-your-client-does-not-support-opening-this-list-with-windows-explorer-quot-when-you-try-to-quot-open-with-explorer-quot-on-a-sharepoint-document-library-in-office-365-site.aspx
follow the directions given above.... you need to add the domains to your Intranet sites list, not the Trusted sites list.
Perhaps you already have it mapped to your intranet zone....in which case make sure that you have unchecked "Enable Enhance Protected Mode" on the Intranet  zone dialog in Internet Options.
If this is happening 'randomly' on client machines, then users are probably changing their internet security settings in Internet Options. Ensure they are accepting the default.... Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".
Consult with your system administrators to find out if they are applying a custom security template for the Intranet zone... It may be removing the sharepoint domains from the client Intranet zone's domains lists.
    HTH.

  • Your Client Does not Support Opening this list with Windows Explorer on Windows Server 2012 R2

I am trying to open a document library in Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 2012 R2 server and I am receiving Your Client Does not Support Opening this list with Windows Explorer

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to open a document library with the Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 2012 R2 server. But you received the following error message: Your client
does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer.
There can be multiple reasons for it.
So, I recommend you can check with the following steps:
Go to the “Server Manager” of “Administrative Tools” > Enable the “Desktop Experience” feature in your environment.
Go to the “Services” of “Administrative Tools” >
Ensure the “WebClient” service is started.
Ensure that your computer has supported Web browser.
Ensure that Internet Explorer is configured correctly to add
https://*.sharepoint.com to Local intranet site in the “Security Tab” of “Internet Options”.
    Ensure that
you have applied the latest updates on the system.
For more information, you can refer to the following articles:

  • Trying to open a sharepoint library in Windows Explorer via IE 8 results in the error "your client does not support opening this list with windows explorer"

I am attempting to connect to a Microsoft Sharepoint library, via the "Actions -> Open in Windows Explorer" option from the Sharepoint page.  When I do so, I get the error message "your client does not support opening this list with windows explorer".  In short, I am trying to get the "drag and drop" functionality of a Sharepoint library.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit and IE8.  The target Sharepoint environment is a MOSS 2007 EE.  My Windows "WebClient" service is running, and I have no problem connecting to this exact library via a Windows XP computer running IE8.

Verify that the Webclient is started automatically from the Services.msc
Verify that your Portal is in the Intranet local security zone (You can reach it from Your Internet Explorer Browser Security Tag) if not add it to the list
restart the WebClient service if it's work good
If not you have to create a network share to your portal URL directly not your documents library.
Open Windows Explorer or My Computer from the Windows Start Menu.
From the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive…. A new Map Network Drive window opens.
In the Map Network Drive window, choose an available drive letter from the dropdown list located next to the "Drive:" option. Any drives already mapped will have a shared folder name displayed inside the dropdown list, next to the drive letter.
Type the name of the folder to map wich is in this case your SharePoint Portal URL (Don't include the documents libraries)
Click the "Reconnect at login" checkbox if this network drive should be mapped permanently. Otherwise, this drive will un-map when the user logs out of this computer.
If the remote computer that contains the shared folder requires a different username and password to log in, click the "different user name" hyperlink to enter this information.
    Click Finish.
I am looking for a suite method :)

  • Explorer View - Your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer MOSS 2007 '

We recently had a major deployement, after which Explorer View started giving error message.
Before deployement, all was working fine.
Error: Your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer
    Webclient service is already enabled.
The site has been added to trusted site lists.
All Active-x controls have been enabled.
    Browser: Internet Explorer 8 - 32 bit.
Microsoft Office 32 bit is also installed.
    Thanx in advance.

You could try updating the following registry key on a client PC as a test: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Paramenters\AuthForwardServerList to include the URL of your sharpoint site. Add the root site and it might enable this functionality.

  • Browser IE7.0 does not support WebDynpro in Quality and production only

    Hi All,
Our portal version is NW04 SP15 adn NWDI is on NW700.We have Development ,Quality and production portal. We are using browser IE6.0 to see the WebDynpro application as we are unable to see the webdynpro application on browser IE7.0.We are gettimg message "Browser does not support WebDynpro".
However few days ago suddenly we are able to see webdynpro application on browser IE7.0 in the Development portal only. When we open the quality and production url on the browser IE7.0 we are getting error message "Browser does not support webdynpro".
Our Basis team askes us to analyze when we open the development url on IE7.0 we are able to see webDynpro application where as when we open the quality and prosuction url on browser IE 7.0 we are getting message "Browser does not support webdynpro"
Can anybody tell why does IE7 work in development (PWD), but not in other EP6 instances quality(PWQ), production (PWP)?
    Thanks
    Susmita

    Hi
    Thanks for all your response.
I have alredy gone through the forums why IE 7.0 doesnot support WebDynpro. What to do to make IE7.0 work for webDynpro(SAP note 991449).
I have already told basis team regarding the behaviour of IE7.0.However basis team is sticking to their question what has done in the development so that IE7.0 is working for WebDynpro in Development.
I will ask the patch level from basis team for Development,Quality, production.May be patch is different thats why Dev is working in IE7.0 and not in quality and production.
I am sure the issue not related to code or iView property and related to IE property. Is anything done on the Development instance PWD at Server so that we are able to see webdynpro on IE7.0 for development?
What i need to check in the url https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/pam as i am new to this url.
    Thanks
