Parent (Global) and Current (Navigation) on the Same Page
Hello,
I am using the managed metadata feature in a SharePoint 2013 publishing site. I am trying to layout my navigation as shown in the diagram below. I can not find a publishing master page that implements this parent child relationship. My
top navigation is use the markup:

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create Parent (Global) and Current (Navigation) on the Same Page.
You can make quicklaunch work contextually like structural nav quicklaunch using Managed Metadata navigation. Please refer to:

In addition, you can used JQuery and CSS to achieve staticlevel left navigation in SharePoint 2013.

I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, my settings have been changed, my homepage, and EVERYTHING. No matter how many times I go in and change them again, the SAME pages open up when I start FireFox and I am constantly being asked if I want Yahoo as my start page and default search engine. I click the box 'do not ask me again' and it comes up EVERY TIME. I change things like I don't want history remembered, and when I reload FireFox again, it's back to the way it was BEFORE. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't know why this is happening, or how to fix it. What do I do??
I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.

Printing graph and other text in the same page
Hi,
I am aware that for providing graphs in ABAP report we have a FM which is called via a pushbutton in the output screen generally.
Is there any way I can do away with the pushbutton and print the graph and other text in the same page at one go ? I think Smartforms will not allow graph printing.......any other method to achive this ?

Selecting from one table and Update another in the same Page
Could someone help me with this HTMLDB task. In my page design, I am selecting data from two tables (masters: DEPT, EMP) which I want to display on the left column of the page and at the same time a user would be able to update another table (ATTENDANCE:with many children) which would have a radiogroup on the right side for each value of the master such as employee name. The placement of data has to appear in corresponding rows on the page. For instance, employee names of the master table must appear on the same row with its corresponding child value. The page would be grouped by DEPT_NO. The user would click on the department name, a new page with the employee name would apprar. From that page, the user would then update attendance column for each employee in that department. In this operation, it is only the ATTENDANCE table that is being updated. I can send out more information about the structure of the tables if you need more information. I tried many HTMLDB options, forms, reports, etc. I have not been able to get quite right. Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for responding to my problem. I have actually tried using the example on how-to you sent me a link to but it did not help as I expected. You see, the page would be updated every meeting date for each employee. I can send you more information about the table structure if you like. However, let me see if this will help you a bit.
Tables are: 1) Dept [dept_no (pk),dept_name] 2) EMP [emp_no (pk),emp_name, dept_no(fk)] 3) Meetings [meet_key(pk),attended, meeting_date, emp_no(fk)]
What I want to do is create two pages, one would list the departments, when a user selects a department, the user would be linked to a meeting attandance page. The meeting attendance page would list department name once, Meeting date once, and then list employees in that department. At the right column of every employee would be a checkbox for meeting.attended for update. The meeting_date would be pre-populated so that what the user would do is just check Yes/NO. The second page is the one I'm having the most problem with.
If I can do a fetch from dept, emp, and meetings and then do an update on the Meetings table on the same page, I think that might solve the problem. That was how I solved it in MS Access three years ago.

You do not need to mount a screen. Just add a new region with several text fields inside. You should fetch a row by a process and populate the set when you load the page or click on a button. Insert, update, and delete should be done by processes. You have to have Next and Previous buttons to brows trough all rows of the detail table.
The most important thing here is what the connections between tables in your database are.
If they are the "One to many, One to one" you can use the approach described above.
If they are "One to many, One to many" will be better to use buttons or links to lunch details' tables in separate forms.
If the second and third tables are connected only to the master table you can use two buttons at the right of every master row. Clicking on the buttons will bring separate form for each detail table.
If the third table is just a luckup table to the second one you can use "Select List" field into tabular form of the second table in one Master-Detail form.

Scrolling on pages with images is very jerky and sometimes hangs [but the same page is fine on IE]
windows xp /ff 3.5.8 [tried upgrade to later versions but I completely lose my synaptics tp scroll function]
as the title says, on some/many sites, when you scroll down the page, FF gets "stuck" on an image and the page becomes jumbled as it crawls along for a short while, then it will get past the "obstruction" and scroll okay. but scrolling back up it hits the same bump.
it is 100% repeatable
the same page in IE scrolls just fine.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

Using Anchor Tag in SharePoint Global and Current Navigation
I have a site page set up for News articles within our company that get created every month. We are using the current navigation as sort of a list with the corresponding months that the articles were created. So for instance
Jan
Feb
March
April
and so on
What needs to happen is that when a user selects the month, it will scroll down to the #anchor which corresponds to the month.
When entering the url (http://contoso.com/default.aspx#March) into the current navigation, and hitting ok. The main link remains (http://contoso.com/default.aspx)
without the anchor tag being kept. Any Ideas?

HTML DB form and reports in on the same Page
I have a form take input from the user and two reports (please see the URL and LINK).
If I click on the Staff report to populate the employee_no, name, and then click on the service report to populate the service_id, service name.
The problem is if populate the employee_no, name then it clear out the service_id, name and other fields. vice versa.
Why?

So, every time you click on the column link, it clears session state for items on the target page and then proceeds to set the items you specify in the column link itself. -
Is it possible to print JTable and custom JPanel on the same page?

I have a custom panel extending JPanel and implementing Printable.
I am using paint() method to draw some graphics on it's content pane. I would like to print it, but first I would like to add a JTable at the bottom of my panel. Printing just the panel goes well. No problems with that.
I was also able to add a JTable to the bottom of JFrame, which contains my panel.

I've managed to get this to work, by calling 2 methods inside the outer frame's print method (lines 78 and 79)
Those two methods are:
rp.paint(g2D);
reportTable.paint(g2D);but still it is not the way I would like it to be.
First of all both the ReportPanel and ReportTable graphics are printed with the upper-left corner located in the upper-left corner of the JFrame and the first one is covering the second.
Secondly, I would like to rather implemet the robust JTable's print method somehow, because it has some neat features like multipage printing, headers & footers. But I have no idea how to add my own graphics to the JTables print method, so they will appear above the JTable. Maybe someone knows the answer?

I was googling nearly all day in search of an answer, but with no success. I don't think it's possible to print JTable using it's print() method together with other components, so I will have to think of something else i guess...

I'm sorry, but you're not clear. You first say you want to
put five images in "a section," then you say there's a "middle
section?"
