Part II updation

Hi Friends..
i have released the blocked invoice, but part II register is not been updated, kindly help...
thanks in advance

Hello
No register updation happens at the time of miro.
If you want you can configure your excise group to capture and post excise invoice at time of MIGO.
In the two-step procedure, the excise clerk captures the incoming excise invoice. This means that the clerk enters the data, but the system does not yet create an entry in Part II of the appropriate excise register. Another user (the excise supervisor) checks the excise invoice and posts it. The system then creates a Part II entry.
capture excise J1IEX_C
post: J1IEX_P
In the one-step procedure, the excise clerk captures and posts the incoming excise invoice simultaneously. The system creates the Part II entry automatically. For that you have to configure the capture and post Excise invoice at MIGO for your excise group in SPRO.
Excise register updation has nothing to do with MIRO or invoice verification.

    Hi Sathish ,
In CIN - basic settings - Maintain excise groups there in that outgoing excise invoice Excise invoice during the billing and Create and post inv in single make the both fields un mark.
Hope this will make you to create invoice and excise invoice separately, or els find if any exit is used earlier.

  • Virtual chars does not take part in update rules

    Hi
Friends my question is Virtual Chars Does not take part in update rules than why to include it in data target??? directly we can include it at query designer .
    Thanks
    Asim

    Hi,
Adding a charachteristics is to have a place holder in your data target. In virtual char you make use of this field memory pointer to populate the data for this field.
    Hope this helps for you.
    Thanks,
    Arun

  • How to access basic cube data as part of update rule routine?

    Dear colleagues:
I am developing a routine as part of the update rule to define a characteristic value to feed an infocube. However, I need to peek up a data that is available on another infoprovider, in this case a basic cube.
So far, I have done that by peeking up data form ODS as part of the update routine, but this is the first time I need to peek up a data from a basic cube.
<b>Does that works the same way as ODS?</b>
    Best regards

    Hi Krzysztof Konitz:
I have posted an inquire about getting that from the PSA. By mistake I have posted that once before your reply and another after that. Then I red you reply.
However, you replay solved the problem.

Many more examples can be provided.
Each pair of directories contain identical 1024 preview images.  In all cases, the only difference in directory names is the hash code appended to the "primary part" of the directory name.  (In the above, the numeric directory names are of the form nnnn-nnnn)
The initial rebuild of the cache was massivly constructed during January 2011.  The more recent directories were constructed when the directories were recently accessed.   Please refer to the above mentioned thread for more details.  This data duplication "explains" some of the operational observations in that thread. Unfortunately, I did not notice this at that time.
The directory duplication shows that Bridge 5 is rebuilding thumbs/previews in a new directory even though it has rebuilt the complete cach "very recently" - in particular, the "madi" directory..
If I were to interpret this, it seems to me that Bridge computes the hash part of the name in different ways and therefor causes a data duplication and it's associated heavy resource overload when it is least expected.
I don't know if this manifestation is work-flow dependent:  I have work-in-progress directories on my workstation and have a master cache associated with these directories.  In all cases, the cache system is built with the export option to generate .BridgCache files. At various times, I copy the work-in-progress directories to my networked storage system.  Subsequently, using an appropriate "archival" master cache, I build the cache for the new directories.  I assume that the initial seed of thumbs/previews is copied from the .BridgeCache files.  The above directory samples are from the "appropriate master cache".
    UPDATE TEST
I did a test that just might be reproduceable
    1. A test directory on the worstation hard drives was created with three image sub-directories using a master cache directory on the workstation.  The caches were build and .BridgeCache files exported.  All viewing was perfectly fine.
    2. The test directory was copied to a network archive drive.
    3. The workstation master cache was deleted and a new master cache created.  A single small directory was added to visually acertain that the cache was properly functioning.
    4. Using the windows "drag and drop" feature, the test directory on the networked archive drive was dropped onto the Bridge 5 desk top icon.  Bridge started immediately with the three sub-directories properly displayed in the "content" panel.
    5. The bridge "tools/cache/Build and Export Cache was selected to 'Build Cache For Folder "9999-today" and All Enclosed Folders".  The "Export Cache To Folders" was unchecked (since there are already .BridgeCache files in each directory and they are the basis for seeding the master cache).  The cache was constructed with the following results in the 1024 directory:
    2011-02-27  21:04    <DIR>          20110219BED18138
    2011-02-27  21:03    <DIR>          20110224EB4DAE46
    2011-02-27  21:02    <DIR>          barasmal0B44C410
    2011-02-27  20:57    <DIR>          empty1E10B2FB
    6.  Clicking on each directory resulted in immediately visible thumbs with no rebuild.
    7. Each directory was open by an external process with a using ShellExecute() that has the bridge programme and image file reference, for example
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS5\Bridge.exe \\P2\Volume_1\ImageArchive\9999-today\barasmall\tf603683.cr2
Two such directories were so opened.  Those directoies has duplicated master cache entries.
    8. The computer was shut down and restarted.  Bridge was restarted alone (not by another process).  The third directory was open and immediately the cache was rebuilt and a duplicate entry resulted.
    9. The final content of the 1024 directory in all accessed directorys being duplicated:
Volume in drive D is extra
    Volume Serial Number is 6CEE-8402
    Directory of D:\Bridge5Cache\1024
    2011-02-27  21:23    <DIR>          .
    2011-02-27  21:23    <DIR>          ..
    2011-02-27  21:04    <DIR>          20110219BED18138
    2011-02-27  21:11    <DIR>          20110219FB819EBF
    2011-02-27  21:23    <DIR>          20110224AE1DB1C1
    2011-02-27  21:03    <DIR>          20110224EB4DAE46
    2011-02-27  21:02    <DIR>          barasmal0B44C410
    2011-02-27  21:09    <DIR>          barasmal78DD828C
    2011-02-27  20:57    <DIR>          empty1E10B2FB
                   0 File(s)              0 bytes
                   9 Dir(s)  313,629,155,328 bytes free
This seems rather strange - even though Bridgie created a set of .BridgeCache directories "within the last hour", simply moving the image directories to a new location for archival purposes (and building the master cache) causes Bridge to reconstruct the master caches a second time.  It does not even have the courtesy of removing the now-obsolete thumbs/previews although it does seem to update the modified time of the .BridgeCache files in the image directoies.
When the "Compact Cache" option is used, only two of the three duplicated directories were removed - a third remained with all images duplicated.
IMHO, this is defeats a significant reason for creating the .BridgeCache files in the image folders.  There is a resource overhead of creating the .BridgeCache files in the first place.  Then, when those files are needed, the image previews and thumbs are copied from the .Bridgecache to the master and  effectively ignored when Bridge 5 completely rebuilds the cache anyway.  I now have a master cache that took weeks of 24 hr per day processing to construct and it is now corrupted with duplicate and useless data - inpinging upon the 500,000 file "limit" for the Bridge master cache.  It also is causing a major time waste while waiting for the rebuild when I need to browse many directories for a number of books I will be publishing over the next year.
    Thank you
    tony

It really would be nice if Adobe could provide a "fixit tool" that would update the cache structure to flag the various constructed cache directories as current and up to date in such a way that a rebuild and data duplication would not be done.  This would go a long way to making cache rebuilds from the .BridgeCache files a useful tool.
P.S.  This file processing problem did not happen when CS5 was released and I migrated from Bridge CS4 to CS5.  Hopefully a fix can be provided.

  • SharePoint 2013 RSS Viewer not loading when other Custom web part using Update Panel or Ajax Timer control

    Hi,
    SharePoint 2013 RSS
Viewer web part failing to complete loading when the page loads.
This happens when having RSS Viewer and then adding a Custom webpart with an updatepanel and timer control.
I  had used Ajax update panel and timer control to load the web part asynchronously after the main page is fully loaded.
The RSS-Viewer web part hangs in loading state while the custom webpart loads just fine.
The issue occurs when an like button click or Timer Tick event fires after the page
    is loaded.
Haven't been able to track the issue.
Couple of workaround I tried to call a server side button click event from the custom web part after the page gets fully loaded using JQuery shown below did not work out either.
     $(document).ready(function () {
                $('#<%= netButton2.ClientID %>').click();
    And
    document.onreadystatechange = function () {
                if (document.readyState == "complete") {
                    $('#<%= netButton2.ClientID %>').click();
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

  • Error in RG23A Part 2 Update in Vendor Return

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Vendor Return and we have configured Immediate Utilization of CENVAT.
After creating return delivery (Mvt Type 122), when Excise Invoice is created (created and posted in a single step) in J1IS, the RG23A Part1 is updated correctly but in RG23A Part 2 only BED value is updated whereas ECS and AT1 should have been updated too but not getting updated. In Excise Invoice ECS (ECess) and AT1 (SECess) values are missing.
Can anyone provide some idea to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Spro>Logistics u2013 General>Tax on Goods Movements>India>Business Transactions>Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoicesu2014here check for movt type 122 which register is maintained once appropriate register is maintained there then system will update the same.
Or even you can try J1I5 update register with movt type 122 & enter material document (return delivery material document no) & classification IPD (Issued for clearance/Removal on payment of duty) & select the correct radio button of register. Once update the register then Extract data for excise registers Using J2I5.
It will update both the data in the register

  • RG23A Part 1 updation for 261 movement type

    Hi,
We have a business scenario where the same raw materials are procured from both excisable and non-excisable vendors. When purchasing from excisable vendors, CENVAT credit is availed and RG23A Part 1 and RG23A Part 2 entries are updated. When purchasing from non-excisable sources at the time of goods receipt in MIGO 'No Excise Entry' option is chosen.
When subsequently materials are issued to production order using movement type 261, we try to consume this inventory from RG23A part 1 using transaction J1I5. However we come across cases where the material document qty is more than the balance qty in Rg23A part 1. This is because part of the inventory comes from non-excisable purchase.
In this case how do we update RG23A Part 1 for the partial CENVATABLE inventory?
    Regards,
    Sridhar

    Hi Ashok/Binoy,
Thanks to both of you for your answers. We are unfortunately not able to maintain multiple materials as the number of raw materials are very high and also maintaining bill of materials with multiple BOM's was considered not practical by the client. I then discussed the situation with the client's excise department with what Binoy had indicated. We have decided to make a "Part 1 entry only" during MIGO. The excise person indicated that this would be ok.
Thanks again for taking time to reply.

  • Return Delivery and Subsequent Delivery part 2 updating

    Hi Experts
I made GR for PO by capturing Excises as it is defective I have returned the stock to vendor in MIGO using Return Delivery against Material Document number, at this stage part 2 is deducing the G/L account of BED, ECS and SHCess and adding with G/L account of CENVAT Suspense account. Fine it is as I expected.
But the problem is, when I making subsequent delivery for the item instead of deducing with G/L account of CENVAT Suspense account and adding the G/L account of BED, ECS and SHCess IT IS DOING REVERSELY THAT IS AGAIN IT IS deducing the G/L account of BED, ECS and SHCess and adding with G/L account of CENVAT Suspense account.
Kindly where I've make the changes for it to capture correctly.

  • 2 part question: updating iphone & ringtones

I feel technologically challenged and just plain helpless!
I have been trying to load and install the update all day long. I get as far as downloading it (which has happened twice) but doesn't install even though I've checked off to install immediately after downloading. What am I doing wrong? I can't install, synch, anything!
Also, I downloaded at least a half a dozen songs from itunes that showed a bell (read: ringtone) and now that they are in my library, they don't show up with the bell (read: not compatible to be a ringtone) and yet I go look for the song on itunes and the bell is there. Can we say what the...?
I am hoping that someone, anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks so much in advance:)

On important updates, I always set to "download only" and wait to install until I know I have the full update on the computer. If the download stalls in the middle of the update, you can be lost. Make sure that you have downloaded the full update, then close and reopen iTunes and let it install when it tells you that it has the update for you. I disconnected the iPhone while the computer was downloading the 153 MB of firmware and software update and then reconnected after the download was complete.
When the warning was given on the phone with the yellow caution sign to connect to iTunes, I was already connected to the computer and iTunes and I simply waited it out and followed all of the install instructions. This is a firmware update and it takes longer than a simple os update.
My update went well and most is fine except for new changes that I discover while using the iPhone. They no longer detail the changes for us and it can be surprising to find some of the changes.

During return delivery / stock transfer, a part2 entry (register type D - dispatch) is made. You can check the entry in table J_1IPART2.
Part1 register will get updated when you run J1I5 with the relevant details.

  • Part of update was enabling Global Services - any disadvantage to this?

Looking at the features list, it seems like the default with enabled global services is that you can make calls elsewhere with a per unit of usage charge. The cost without using it is listed as $0.00.  Is there any disadvantage to having this enabled on the phone in terms of hidden costs, or performance hits?
    Thx / Tom

While in the USA, you probably won't run into any problems in global mode, but it won't make any difference performance wise either, so you may want to just leave it in CDMA/LTE mode. While traveling, if you can a local prepaid SIM, that would probably be cheaper while in global mode.
