Partner Function in COPA

Hi All,
Can any one help me in defining the Partner funtion from Sales Oder in to COPA. I m trying to use the VBPA table for defining characteristic but its saying " enter a valid reference SAP table". Any lead on this ? Do i have to derive these function from other tables and write a derivation rule ?
Thanks
MKR

Hi MKR,
I am going to try to summarize the basic steps to add one or
more new partner function(s).  For more detailed information
please see the notes 36557, 32878, 12682 and 93658 although some o
these notes are known for you.
Add new domain/data element for the new partner function in the
ABAP/4 Data Dictionary.
Examples are the data elements KUNAG, KUNWE, KUNRE, KUNRG,
SPDNR, and VRTNR in structure MCPARTNER. This is where the
partner functions for the Standard Sales Information System are
  defined.
Save the new partner field in structure MCPARTUSR (user part of
structure MCPARTNER) or, if available extend structure
MCPARTUSR by an append structure (ZAMCPARTUS).
Make sure that the check tables and foreign key relationships are
maintained for the new fields in structure MCPARTUSR
Define the assignment of partner function <  > new partner
  field in the communication structure.
  Program RMCSUZ10, routine USR_PARTNER_GET.
Add the line as in the example of note 12682 given.
Include the corresponding field via transaction 'KEA0' from the
structure PAPARTNER into the Profitability Analysis data structures
If your new partnerrole is a representative/sales employee please  apply note 32878.
Should you have implemented note 43002 (to prevent a field overflow
in pricing) please follow note 93658 and use userexit
  userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp instead of
  userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk.
userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp is contained in Include MV45AFZZ
  (sales order) and RV60AFZZ (billing)
Add the new field to the structure 'KOMPAZ' as in note 93658
described and  NOT  to the structure 'KOMKAZ' (note 36557)
  (you have used both structures)
Generate the operating concern and check if the following entries
  are included in TKEZU:
Charact.  BTran Table      Field name  Offset  Length
  XXXXX     SD00   KEDR       YYYYY
  XXXXX     SDIN   KEDR       YYYYY
  XXXXX     SDOR  KEDR       YYYYY
XXXXX = Field name of the partner function in the  profitability
  analysis
YYYYY = Field name of the partner function in structure KOMP
(these entries should be made automatically here).
If you need more than one partner function please repeat the
steps as described above for your need.

Abhisek

  • Transfer  partner functions to COPA

    Hi all:
We need to transfer a own partner function to COPA. We have followed steps as note 36557 explains. Now, our operating concern has a partner function as a new characteristic (created from structure PAPARTNER). However, the system is not derivating this partner function when I create sales order or invoices.
Thanks in advance for your help

  • How to add a new partner function as a characteristics in COPA

    Hi There,
    Can you help please.
I am trying to add an existing SD partner function called End Customer as a characteristic in CO-PA. End Customer is not defined in the CO-PA PAPARTNER structure.
1 Sold To Party can have more than 1 End Customers. In such cases, during sales order creation, users will be prompted to select the End Customers. I need to extract the End Customer information into CO-PA as what is being specified on the sales order.
Appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this..
    Many thanks in advance...
    Cheers
    HW.

    Hi Warwick,
I've had a look at the SAP.Help Library - i am ok with the steps of adding the characteristics into COPA, no problems on this step.
My question was around adding a partner function into a PA structure - PAPARTNER. The End Customer is not defined in the PAPARTNER structure - hence, I cant easily create a new characteristic using the transfer from SAP table or derivation rules.
I need to find a way to extract the End Customers from the sales document, add that into the PAPARTNER structure and then create a new characteristics referencing that table.
I've been looking at OSS 32878, 36557 and 12682 - and am slightly confused.
    Has anyone tried this before?
    The system is ECC 6.0.
    Thanks
    Cheers

  • Partner functionality in release order

    Dear Gurus,
I have created a contract with partner functionality.
I created a Purchase Requisition referring contract (Using source of supply). I need to create Po in ME21N by adopting PR. System copies all the other details but not partner details. I need to enter partner details manually in PO.
But  When I create a PO in ME21N by adopting the same contract, partner details are automatically copied from contract.
Please suggest me what should I do If my PO should copy partner details of contract (while creating PO adopting PR)
    Regards,
    Sastry

i hope , if u have created the vendor master , then PO will take all details of partner form vnedor master .
SO check the which details u are updating manually, the same as its maintained in master data or not.
IF not maintain it in vendor master .

  • MWST calculation on .... which partner function?

    Hello everyone,
Can someone help me with MWST calculations?
On which partner function are they based? my test say that MWST is based on data from the PAYER (Tax category 0 or 1).
However, the field "country of destiny" does is not taken from the PAYER.
Does someone know where is the link between MWST calculation and partner function?
    Can it be customized?
    If yes, where?
Any help would be highly appreciated,
    Regards,
    F

    Hello,
The system copies the tax classification from the tax information stored in the customer master record of the ship-to party. During pricing, the system uses the tax classification together with the country key (identifies where the customer is located) to calculate relevant taxes.
    I hope this helps!
    Thanks

  • Derivation Rule for Partner Function

    Dear Experts
I have some questions about COPA derivation rule.
I attempted to input a number for remark by using the partner function u201Ccontactu201D field in biling table (KNVP-PANRN).
Itu2019s always occurred error while SD entered PGI after I configuring the derivation rules.
    My derivation rules as following:
    Source Fields
    KNVP     KUNNR     >>CO-PA     KNDNR
    KNVP     VKORG     >>CO-PA     VKORG
    KNVP     VTWEG     >>CO-PA     VTWEG
    KNVP     SPART     >>CO-PA     SPART
KNVP     PARVW     >>GLOBAL USERTEMP3 (use MOVE for constant=CP in last step)
KNVP     PARZA     >>GLOBAL USERTEMP4 (use MOVE for constant=000 in last step)
    Target Fields
    KNVP    PARNR  >>CO-PA WW001
    Seems probably have some problems.
Could Experts give me a hint?

  • Creation of partner functions for customer master with LSMW

    Hello,
I try to create partner functions together with a customer via Batch Input in LSMW.
Object: 0050, method: 0000, program name: RFBIDE00, program type: B.
I use the structure BKNVP (Customer master partner functions) to create a new partner and set values for the fields KTONR and PARVW.
When I start the batch input the fields are filled in correctly in a new dynpro. After the confirmation of these values the dynpro changes back to the partner functions sscreen, but the value for KTONR isn'n being transferred. So I get an error message.
Is it only possible to update partner functions with that BI or what is going wrong ?
    Thanks in advance and regards
    Alex

    Hi Alex,
Could you specify what error message you are getting?
    Thanks!

  • Automatic assignment of Partner Function (Dealer) based on Postal Code?

    Hi Experts,
We are realizing a project in the Bathroom-Product Industry. Responsible for the service to the end-clients are authorized dealer. When creating a service ticket the responsible dealer has to be assigned automatically to the ticket on the basis of the postal code where the IBase (the product) is installed.
    The process is:
    1. The client is calling the Interaction Centre and first the IC Agent has to identify the account and the Installed Base (The     installed base contains the postal code where the product of the client is installed) of this account.
    2. An Interaction Record is created to record this inbound call.
    3. Afterwards a Service Ticket is created as a follow-up Document of the Interaction Record. In the moment of the creation of the Service Ticket the correct dealer has to be assigned automatically to the Service Ticket (as a Partner Function not as a Service Organization) on the basis of the postal code of the installed base.
I have the following question! Which are the steps to assign automatically a Business Partner Function to a Service Ticket? We also need to create a Z-Table with the postal codes for which every dealer is responsible.
    Example:
Dealer 1 is responsible for the postal codes: 08040 - 08045 and 08056 - 08059. If a client is calling and his product (Installed Base) is installed in Postal Code 08042 or 08054 the dealer 1 has to be assigned to the service ticket.
I hope I could make myself clear ;-)? Anybody can give me a hint how to do that? What are the basic steps?

Slightly similiar, originally being an R/3 customer before implementing CRM our dealer equated to sales office.
In the CRM Org model (PPOMA_CRM) in the attributes of the sales office we entered the Regions & Postal codes for that dealer (pain in the arse to do) and in CRM the sales office in the org creates a BP.
We used a org rule for the IR record based on country, region, postal code to determine the appropriate sales org, DC, div, and sales office based onthe zip code.  We created a custom partner function to represent the partner number of the  BP from the org model.  Then we configured a custom relationship "ZORG" "Is partner of sales office" and went into the BP master and assigned the actual dealer number as a partner to BP from the org model that = sales office.  From that we configured a custom access sequence to pull the actual dealer number from the org model office relationships.
We looked at territory management, but our dealer is an "org BP" and territory management appeared to want to drive to a person BP number.

  • Problem in creation of partner function creation.

    Hi all,
During customer Master upload using LSMW direct method, Iam getting this problem.
while creating Sales view using XD01, three partner function VE (Sales Representative), SH (Ship-to party), ZI (Front Office) are getting displayed in the last tab of sales view creation.
Because of some customizing, value for SH is getting populated automatically. But the values for VE & SH are not getting populated from the flat file.
But the values are present in the respective field (KTONR) and able to see in the display convert data.
If I enter the manual value during runtime in LSMW, it accepts the value. Since it involves huge amount of data, manual entry for records is not possible.
    Kindly provide the solution.
    Regards

This problem can be solved by proper customizing.

  • I can not see all "Divisions" in BP Rel.--Partner Function Assignment

    Hi,
When I edit "Partner Function Assignment" in BP reliationship such like BUR011("Employee Responsible"),
I can not see all "Divisions" in list which I can see in configuration via SPRO-->Customer Relationship Management->Master Data->Orgnizational Management->Division Setting->Define Divisions.
E.g., in configuration, I can see 7 records of divisions from "001" to "007", but in "Partner Function Assignment" of BP relationship, I can only see "002" to "004".
Do you know why? Thanks a lot!
    Best regards,
    Long

    hi
that should not be happening,if they are visible in one client then should be there in another too
do one things try run  this
    hrbc1_atributes_buffer_update
it will refresh the buffers of your org structure and then you may be able to add this
also check the check box where it is mentioned that"object determination should be permitted"
remember it will run only for once after you run this the check box will be unchecked again
i guess it may solve your probs
also try to structure your org structure index
    use t code
    crmd_index_om
and withtin the object type give O
    and execute
    best regards

  • Can we view  SH's partner functions in Sales Order?

    Hi All,
SP has a different SH and FA is assigned to SH in master record. When we create order we can see all the partner functions of SP but we can't see partner functions of SH. User wants to see which FA is assigned to SH. We can only view partner functions of SH in delivery document. Is it possible to view partner functions of SH in sales order as well? Please suggest the ways to configure this setting.
    Thanks!!

    Hi,
Yes, you can view . Check the Partner determination procedure, include the partner function SH to your partner determination procedure assigned for your sales order.

  • Partner function not working when creating PO with ref to PReq

Partner function is not working when creating a Purchase Order with ref to a Purchase Requistion, Partner functions maintained in the vendor master are VN, OA & PI.
But OA & PI are not appearing in the PO header partner tab when created with ref to PR.
however it works when i create the PO directly ( without the PR ref )
I am using the same material & Plant for both manual PO & PR to PO.
Any idea what could be wrong .
I have maintained the settings for schema groups for vendor master & purchasing doc in the partner determination.
    Thanks
    Dkmurthy

    Hi,
I have also an issue that seems similar to one you are discussing.
When we use ME59N and create a PO with ref. from a PR (created from a sales order), the message determination works well, it reads the condition set in MN04 (condition records for messages), and creates a message (with output type for EDI , medium: 6, and partner function LS: Logical system). Message is created and idoc is sent.
When we try with ME21N, ME21 and we create the PO with ref. to the same PR, either by entering manually the PR in the document overview of ME21N or by selecting the PR (without entering the PR number), i.e with date, the message is not created in the PO.
Company code is assigned to purchase organization, and so is purchase organization to plant.
Any idea why there is no automatic message determination in the case of the transaction: ME21N
Note: If I try ME21N, and enter the output type and partner, manually, I receive a warning message
VN006 (Partner XXXX does not exist for partner function LS). If I accept this warning message, then message is saved- idoc is sent. However I can not overcome the warning message, if it plays any role, because I can not assign partner function LS to the vendor. Then I receive message CZ 327 (Can not use this partner role).
    Any input is wellcome.

  • PO and partner functions of a contract

    Hello,
    We have the following problem:
In our system, we maintain partner functions in the partner functions of the vendor.
And for this vendor we have a contract. However, we don't maintain partner functions in the contract.
But when we create a PO for the vendor and the contract, the system looks for partner function in the contract and doesn't look any more for the partner functions in the vendor. but, as we have no partner functions in the contract....partner functions in PO are empty.
I can't find customizing point to indicate that we don't want to look partners functions in contract. Is it possible?
    Thanks,

the data is always taken from the most specific source, which is the contract in your case. it is not possible to use contracts and omit at the same time the partners (or not available partners) from the contract.

  • Question on Contract - Partner function

    Hi all
    For eg.
I created a CONTRACT in ECC and its vendor as VN 11111 ( OA ORDERING ADDRES  22222.)
Later Vendor master team changes in the vendor OA as 33333 from OA  22222 for VN 11111.
Can I expect the same changes in ME33K , HEADER , partner -> porg -> OA as 33333 or OA as 22222?
can i see the vendor master data changes in ECC contract.
that means when i create a PO w.r.t my contract , This PO should pick as OA 33333 but it picks ordering as old OA 22222?
    is it right fuctionality?
    appreciate your quick help.
    BR
    Muthu

    Thanks Arun
Old one needs to be manually corrected. And transactional data takes precedence over the master data.
Old one needs to be manually corrected - where plese be specific. in the bendor master or contract.
my question is if i change in vendor master OA , i am expecting contract also must pic the same but it is not happening.
    can you refhrase the answer.
should i change the partner function via contract -hetail-partner details?
what does mean only one needs to be manually corrected IN VENDOR MASTER OR CONTRACT?

  • Partner functions missing in the replicated order

    Hi Experts,
I Have created an order in ECC which has replicated to CRM with some errors partner functions are missing. could help me how to solve this  problem in below link you can see the detail analysis of the error.

    2)http://s657.photobucket.com/albums/uu298/vallabhaneni/?action=view&current=orderincrm.jpg
    Thanks & Regards
    V.Srinivas

    Hi V.srinivas,
For Order Replication from ECC system to CRM system your Configurations for both the system must be Coinciding.
Hope your Partner Function Determination in ECC and CRM are also maintained the Same way, else check for the Determination of Sub-Partner Function determination (Ship to Party,Bill to Party..) in ECC and CRM the way its maintained.
The Main Problem arising in your Order is after replication from ECC System your Sub-Partner Functions aren't getting Determined,
Check for the Partner Determination Procedure in CRM for the Sub-Partners and try to Determine them from your Main Partner Function e.g. Sold to Party.
    Hope it Solves your Query..
    Revert back for Further Queries..
    Thanks and Regards,
    RK.
