Patch update failure.. on mac!

Hello!
Im currently having an issue updating / patch all my CC 2014 programs.. I've tried to reinstall all the programs and as soon as the installation is done it says "installation succeeded but a patch failed u43m1d205"
I have been searching for an answer in all the threads I could find without finding a solution.. this is not the first time im having HUGE problems with Creative Cloud but atleast the after awhile I have always been able to fix them but not this one..
Im currently running it on a Mac 10.9.4 and all the programs works except for indesign that crashes after I have been using it for some minutes and it's very annoying..
Anyone have any tip?
these things have I tried already..
Reinstalled ALL the applications including Creative Cloud
Created new folders for AAMUpdater + OOBE without any help.
Downloaded the patches one by one everyone failed except for one (illustrator)
Tried to update it from the program without any progress...
the only thing I have left now is to reinstall the hole computer but I don't see why that would solve the problem since the computer is only 2 weeks old...
I would greatly appreciate any kind of help regarding this matter.

Are you getting any specific error while trying to install Acrobat DC? Could you please retry the installation after the system restart?
If the problem does not get resolved even after system restart then please share these additional information :
1. Which operating system are you using?
2. Do you have any previous version of Acrobat installed?
3. How are you installing Acrobat? Could you please share the link from which you have downloaded the Acrobat?
4. Also could you please share the following logs (if available) :
     1. PDApp.log file from ~/Library/Logs.
     2. Acrobat Installer logs (Adobe Setup Error.log and Adobe Acrobat DC 15.007.20033 <Date>.log.gz) from /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers.
     3. install.log from /var/log.

I´m trying to run After Effects CC on Mavericks. I downloaded the patch update (12.0.1) but I receive following alert upon installing "Update failure. You can not use updates. Please contact system manager". I have CC for teams, i´m an admin. Solutions anyone?

CR2008 Patch update failure

Was advised to update the Crystal Reports 2008 version found in the 51037563.ZIP from SAP partner site. As per instructions downloaded file cr2008v1_fp21.exe and began the installation. I received the following error message:
"Crystal Reports 2008 SP1 FP 2.1 update can not install because the version of the product on the system is too low. Setting the SKIP_PATCH_VERSION_CHECK property will skip this check"
The version is 12.1.3.1028
How does one set that property? Is it a switch? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Our curent setup of BOE is BOXI 3.1 SP3 FP 3.1.
Problem Statement:
We are having LCM installation at level SP2 FP 2.6.
We have to remove this and want to install full installable of LCM SP3.
But when we try to uninstall LCP SP2 FP 2.6 from "Add and Remove Programm" it is giving us error
"BusinessObjects LifeCycle Manager FP 2.6 Update -- BusinessObjects LifeCycle Manager FP 2.6 Update can not be uninstalled out of order. Please uninstall SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 Integration, version for SAP solutions applications FP 3.1 first. Setting the SKIP_PATCH_VERSION_CHECK property will skip this check."
Can you please suggest us where we can add SKIP_PATCH_VERSION_CHECK property?
And by using this property, can we uninstall LCM SP2 FP 2.6.

Software Update Failure (Curve 8520) using a Mac

- It DOESN'T automatically update
- We have to open BlackBerry Desktop Software file which has Import Media, Device Options buttons on the main screen, as well as Back Up, Restore, Applications and Sync buttons on the Tool Bar
- When we click on Applications, a box comes up with a list of apps (checked and unchecked boxes), Check for Updates, Cancel and Start. buttons If we click on Check for Updates we get "There are no updates available for your BlackBerry device". If we click on Start we get a message which reads:

We tried to "Reload BBM" which resulted in loss of contacts and lots of tears, so we "Restored". Since doing this contacts have been restored BUT we now cannot connect to WiFi. Message reads, " This wireless router supports WiFi Protected Set-Up. To connect using a PIN (which your Blackberry will generate), click Next'. We are then asked to enter a PIN into the router - How are we supposed to do that if the router doesn't have a keyboard?

Does anyone know how to solve: "Firmware update failure. Disk write error"?

Hi all,
Here is the list of all what went wrong and where I am now:
1. My Ipod worked well
2. I wanted to update it, you know, the normal thing with Itunes
3. Every time I tried, my computer froze. I was unable to add only one song (both automatically and manually).
4. I took my external drive (where my music is) at work and tried again: same result.
5. I decided to run the Updater I have on the CD that came with the Ipod.(2005-02-07; I usually avoid the newer version, having had once a problem when putting a newer version of Updater).
6. The Updater was unable to operate any action on my Ipode (I don't remember the messages now).
7. Like I tried what I describe here above like a hundred time. I decided to format the Ipod with Windows (My Computer, right click on the Ipod, format).
8. It did and now I have only the famous folder with an exclamation mark on my Ipod.
9. Now when I am running the Updater, it says it cannot Restore the factory settings giving this message "Firmware update failure. Disk write error".
I would appreciate any help because, during the last 2 hours, I read and tried all I found on the Support Help here on the Apple web side without any result yet.

Photoshop CC2014.2 won't install patch updater. Error code U44M2P7

This is super frustrating. Creative Cloud just sent out a updates to all my software. Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Flash, etc... but it will not install the updates to any of them. I get errors on all of them.
Here's what I've tried
• Uninstalling and reinstalling. The install goes fine till I get to the Patch updater. That's when I get an error on all the software.
• I've logged in as root user and that doesn't work.
• I extracted the update to run manually and still get an errors.
If I try to do the update from the CC app, I get this error:
"Unable to extract the downloaded Files." (U44M1|210)
The error log doesn't really help me. This is the summary

Static library not accessed properly after Solaris Kernel patch update !

Hi,
We are facing a sever issue in our application after our customer updated the Solaris 10 kernel patch u9 to u10.
We have two static libraries libdlib.a and libDLIB.a, with exactly same code base, but these two libraries are scattered across the code base and linked by many shared objects in our application.
However, one of the shared objects that links to "libdlib.a" library tries to access a function from "libDLIB.a". This behavior is causing a crash at a later point, since that shared object is supposed to access the function from "libdlib.a". Moreover, we found this is happening through the use of dbx.
I'm unable to understand why this problem surfaced after kernel patch update, though still the shared object works fine on Solaris 10 u9 patch.
Flow is something like this :
1. syslogrecorder.so gets loaded by one of the processes.
2. syslogrecorder.so is linked to "libdlib.a" at compile time, so it uses "libdlib.a" function DLIB_LoadLibrary and gets a handle to all the function pointers of the loaded library ( The purpose of DLIB_LoadLibrary is to load a shared library dynamically using dlopen )
3. syslogrecorder.so tries to do a "dlsym" and to do that it needs access to the library handle which we got in previous call DLIB_LoadLibrary. So syslogrecorder.so calls another function from DLIB_ProcAddress, which actually gives back the access to the loaded shared library.
Here is a catch in step 3, it is supposed to call DLIB_ProcAddress from the libdlib.a but as we observed from dbx output it does so by calling DLIB_ProcAddress from libDLIB.a and hence fails to give back the access to loaded shared library, causing crash at a later point in code.
Can someone put some light here that why this could happen ??

To clarify: You did not modify or rebuild any of your binaries, but after installing a kernel patch, the application stopped working. Most likely, something about your application depended on a accidental behavior of the runtime loader. That accidental behavior changed due to the patch, and your application failed.
For example, if there is a circular dependency among shared libraries, the loader will break the cycle at an arbitrary point to establish an initialization order. By accident, that order might work, in the sense of not causing a problem. A change to the loader could cause the cycle to be broken at a different point, and the resulting initialization order could cause a now-uninitialized object to be accessed. I'm not saying this is what is wrong, but this is an example of a dependency on accidental loader behavior.
Finding your actual problem will require tracing the sequence of operations leading up to the failure. You are more likely to find help in a Solaris linker forum. AFAIK, there are currently no Oracle forums for Solaris, and the old OpenSolaris forums have been converted to mailing lists. You can try the "tools-linking" list found on this page:

Ever since I updated Safari to 7.1 on my MacBook Air on Friday, I've been getting this pop up every couple of hours. It tells me that the computer will restart automatically in five minutes if action is not taken. So I can either restart manually or postpone the restart. I've never seen this type of pop up on a Mac before so I hesitate to restart. It just doesn't look like an update Apple would have. Attached is a screen grab. Please let me know if you know what this might be for. I just want to make sure nothing has infected the Mac. Thanks

Dreamweaver CS5 update apparently fixes Mac FileVault problem

Adobe has just released Dreamweaver 11.0.2 (build 4916), which is intended to fix the problem with running Dreamweaver CS5 on Mac OS X with FileVault enabled. Adobe Updater should automatically detect the update, and display the Adobe logo in the menu bar at the top right of the screen on a Mac. Click the logo, and select Adobe Updater. Alternatively, select Help > Updates in Dreamweaver.
I don't use FileVault, so can't verify that the update fixes the problem. Hopefully, it does.

I was getting the same error message on both Windows 7 64-bit as well as XP 32-bit. When CS5 Dreamweaver installs (and several other Adobe CS5 products) it includes an older version of the Java 1.6 Runtime Environment which has known serious security flaws. My university's computer security people got a report from Secunia PSI that I was running vulnerable software (an older version of Java) and demanded that I immediately upgrade.
But I do have the latest updates of the JRE installed, so I was puzzled by this. When I looked at the Secunia report, the JRE culprits were installed in the Programs\Adobe folders as part of each application such as Dreamweaver (and several others). So I removed the insecure JRE folders under those program installations and replaced them with the updated JRE folder from the Java installation (JVM for DW). Granted, this was a bit of a gamble since the registry was not modified, but I had not experienced any problems until I kept getting the installation failure reported here for the CS5 DW update failure with no explanation.
Realizing that Dreamweaver is still a 32-bit app even when running on 64-bit Win 7, and I was running the 64-bit version of Java 1.6 v20, I thought I should have used the 32-bit version of Java to replace the insecure version installed under Dreamweaver. I tried that, as above, but the DW CS5 update still failed.
Then I tried to reinstall CS5 Dreamweaver only, which succeeded with the older insecure JRE which then immediately got flagged by Secunia PSI. Furthermore, the Dreamweaver update still failed with no explanation. I noticed that some of the previous Java files (by their dates) were still left in the DW installation JVM folder, after the re-install. So next I removed the entire Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5 folder, and did a clean reinstall of Dreamweaver CS5 only. It was immediately detected again by Secunia PSI as have an insecure version of JRE. However, this time when I did the Dreamweaver update, it succeeded (v11.0 build 4916) on my 64-bit Win 7 machine.
So the choice currently appears to get Dreamweaver CS5 updates with an older insecure version of the JRE or
not get Dreamweaver updates but be secure with the latest JRE manually installed. My university security people will not tolerate the former
I don't understand why Adobe does not put the latest JRE's as part of their standard updates. Moreover, why put them in the Adobe installations at all--which is causing this security problem of older insecure JRE's--and instead use the main Java installation on the user's machine (and if absent, require users to install Java), if Java is really needed.

There is no update from 10.2.8. You need to purchase retail version of Tiger, 10.4.x. It would help if you gave as much information about your Mac as possible; i.e., model, ram, hard drive, etc.....What method were you using to install the new OS?

Some patches update fail

Hi All
my customer scan one workstation ,and deliver 6 patches to this client. but he find only 5/6 patches update fine. I check the setting of the ZPM Bundle, all patches were set "continue on failure"....why the patch update fail (it is unpatched on this workstation),and whether the Bundle will auto re-send the patch again or not ?
