Pattern, Texture, .Pat File

I have seen tutorials, and I have read text on how to create clouds, and the only thing I am missing is something I am supposed to have, which is a clouds pattern file. I am searching high and low for this particular file and is wondering if anyone is willing to give me a copy are a link to where I can download it. Thanks a bunch.

in cs3 they're installed in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Patterns
select load patterns from the pattern context menu (little right facing arrow found wherever you find the pattern dialog, for example in edit> fill then choose pattern) then select Load Patterns and browse to the location where you patterns are installed.
cs3 lists the following pattern sets available:
Artist Surfaces.pat
Color Paper.pat
Grayscale Paper.pat
Nature Patterns.pat
Patterns 2.pat
Patterns.pat
PostScript Patterns (another folder)
Rock Patterns.pat
Texture Fill 2.pat
Texture Fill.pat

  • .PAT Files using Edit/Preset Manager/ Patterns

I have PSE7.  I recently downloaded a .Pat File that doesn't come up in the Pattern Stamp but it does by going to Edit/Preset Manager/ Patterns.  How do I use this?  When trying to use Save as and Load as option I keep getting the same patterns and it's like a never ending circle.  What am I doing wrong?

It would duplicate the patterns if the file you load has the already existing patterns in you window.
Just try to load the attached file and see if you get a new pattern.
You can define you own pattern from Edit->Define Patterns (if you dont have a .PAT file)
Then from Edit/Preset Manager/ Patterns you can choose the patterns you want to keep in you pattern set and then save the pattern set to your desired location.

  • How to preview a .PAT file in Bridge (Photoshop Pattern File)

How can I preview a pattern (.PAT) file in Bridge?  Bridge seems to be able to preview just about anything, but .pat files just show up with a default PS icon.

I don't see that as one of the supported files in Bridge (preferences/file type associations), so would guess you have to live with default icon.

  • Trying to load patterns, .pat files not showing

I am trying to load patterns, and when I click on Load Patterns..., none of my .pat files are showing. I only have one showing right now, and that is only because i did the following: I clicked the "Reset to Default" button, which brought up the default patterns. Once that was loaded, I reset that as the default and now that is the only .pat file that shows. If I go to the preset folder in CS5, I can see the list of .pat files, yet they won't show up when I try to load a new pattern folder.
Any help is appreciated. Just to show what I'm seeing, here is what I see trying to load a pattern from the presets/Patterns folder in CS5:
And here is that same folder opened in explorer:
    thanks!

Yes, I've sort of found a solution. While they didn't show up in the folder, they DID show up in the flyout at the bottom. I could open a .pat (and this same thing happened with my brushes btw) at the bottom of the flyout menu, then once the brushes were opened, I could save the set of patterns/brushes as a new set, and after doing that, they show up when i try to load new brushes/patterns/etc.
Not sure if this is how things work normally, but I've been using photoshop for many years and don't remember that ever happening before. This is the first time I've tried to load patterns/brushes on this computer, so maybe it's a first time use thing.

  • How do I create a brand new .pat file?

I am attempting to create a set of patterns to share online, and I cannot figure out how to create a truly custom .pat file. I fully understand how to define a pattern in photoshop, however, the only way I've ever known about accessing and permanently saving the patterns I've created is by going to a layer I want to add a pattern too, adding a layer style, and then when I go to patterns overlay in the layer style dialog box, the new pattern I've created is in the pattern picker at the end of the list of swatches of whatever .pat file I already have open for that layer.
What I want to do is create a set of patterns in one .pat file that contains only the patterns I want. I know it's possible since I have downloaded .pat files like this many times before. Can anyone help me?

    Edit – Preset Manager
Select the patterns You want and hit »Save Set«.

  • PAT file not shown in Support package manager

    Hi All,
We had to create a custom BAPI to achieve an functionality in our product.
We are doing this for the first time.
As a standard procedure we followed the AAK (Assembly Add On ) toolkit to create the deploy-able.
Finally in the consolidation system we could see the following PAT file created in the out directory.
    QA70020777848_0000002.PAT
I copied the file to the in directory of the production SAP server where this needs to be deployed.
I ran the transaction SPAM on the server.
    Load packages from Application server
QA70020777848_0000002.PAT    SAPK-170COINCOMPANY1    @EB\QUpload Already Occurred@    0004    OCS file already exists in inbox. Upload not required.
    IT decompresses the file properly.
    Now the problem occurs ahead.
IF i click on the New Support package nothing is shown visible .
Am i missing any steps here.
    Regards
    Manoj

Got the solution in fact it's not a solution it's just an awareness on how the disks are available in fail-over cluster manager.
    1) All the available disks are shown in fail-over cluster manager "storage".
    2) While installation it asks us to add available disks for SQL Server then add accordingly. (Ex: E:drive for data files and L:drive for Log files)
    3) Once the installation is done you see those disks in MSSQL (SQL Server) group.
Means when you click on Active node it should show you MSSQL (SQL Server) group in which you can find network name, network ip, E: & L: Drives, SQL Server and Agent services.
Note: MSDTC and Quorum are also clustered disks which can reside (Preferably Active Node) in any of the nodes but automatically fail-overs to active node in case of any passive node failures.

  • PAT file

    Hello,
Please I need some help related to PAT files.
I have one PAT file number RMZ0020123456_0000045.PAT
This PAT file was not created by me.
Now I want to see what transports were included in this PAT file.
Please can you help me in getting this information.
We have our own name space.
So we created our own Support Packages for our different Products.
These are created using SSDC and SSDA.
That's all I know. My knowledge is limited to this point only. One of the customer were send this PAT file.
Now I want to know what released transports are included in this PAT file.
Is there any way I can know that.
I had already tried SAP HELP, tcodes SSDC & SSDA, but of no help.
May be I am doing something wrong.
    Please advice.
    With Regards,
    Sunny

    Hi Sunny,
I know this is a late reply but have you tried the following. Transfer the PAT file and its associated ATT file to a sandbox system and upload it into the system via SPAM. That should then tell you what transport is included in the patch file. Alternatively, if you browse the file you should be able to see a transport number in the header line.

  • How can I remove the 'all files' pattern in the file dialog?

Is it possible to remove the *.* pattern from the file dialog? I want my users to only see my own made patterns...
    Thx!

    Hi Dennis,
you can add custom patterns with the pattern input, but you cannot remove the "All files (*.*)" pattern. To remove it was the question.
But I'm sorry I have also no solution to this.

  • Count the number of occurences of a pattern in some files

    Hi,
I am trying to extract some patterns in files using regex. I can easily extract the patterns using my program. I also wanted to count the number of occurences of the pattern in the files. For that I have written this code:
    int count=0;
              while (m.find())
                 System.out.println("Found Patterns: "+m.group());
                 count++;
System.out.println(count);  //giving error saying identifier expectedUnfortunately I am getting an error saying identifier expected at the count line. What to do?
    Thanks

  • SMLT -- Czech Language Import -- .PAT files

    Dear Support,
We are planning to import/add a new Czech Language into our ECC 60 system.
When I called the SMLT transaction to import the language from FrontEnd, the system is not finding the content from the CD 51033496_1. The CD has .PAT files instead of .sar or .car files.
I have also copied the .PAT file onto /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in, but still the SMLT tool is not finding the language content to import.
Could you please help me out with this issue?
    Thank you,
    Nikee

    HI Nikee
check this SAP Nope , hope this will solve ur issue
Note 1254022 - SMLT: Language imports not displayed in EHP systems
SMLT displays only the languages for which the current (SAP Basis) release has been imported. This makes sense because otherwise, the system would also display the language  imports for the previous release after an upgrade. The problem now occurs because the systems that have an Enhancement Package imported the same language packages as the systems that do not have an Enhancement Package even though the release is different. For example, the SAP Basis 7.00 language package is imported into an SAP Basis 7.01 system. Since the releases do not correspond, the system does not display the language package in SMLT.To correct the error, SMLT must recognize an Enhancement Package release and the release check for this must be configured in a more flexible way
    Cheers
