Every time I've ever tried to pay my bill from My Verizon it's "unable to process the request, please try again later" How do I get it to work?

Hmm that does seem a little strange. How long have you been getting this error when you try to make this payment. Have you tried to clear the internet history and cookies? Also, you can always try to make the payment by dialing #PMT or if you use the My Verizon Mobile application. Please keep us posted.

    I have a Verizon Electronic gift card that I got from the recycling program.  I was told I could use this cash to pay my bill...I can't see anywhere on the website to pay my bill using this electronic gift card.  How do I use this card to pay my bill???

    The website is a huge headache! I just used my gift card to pay my monthly bill by calling the Verizon customer service hotline (1-800-922-0204). It was super simple. Just hit #2 for pay bill then the automated line with give you the steps to pay your card. Have your gift card number and pin ready, which can be found in the rebate email.

    You should really read the manual.

    They would only be where you put them.  What program did you use to import them?  Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all.  You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
    If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

    Is it safe to use an ipad at home within their secured Wi-Fi network to pay bills on the internet vs a regular computer or laptop.  I thought I had heard that its more difficult for hackers to hack into apple devices vs regular pcs.

    For anyone using a private WiFi (with adequate security), there isn't much difference in terms of the actual transmission. The iOS device is probably more secure from malware or other similar intrusion that a windows machine, so from that standpoint, the statement is probably true. But as Steve points out, the real weak link in this is the actual network.

     Doesn't Verizon make enough money from our bills every month? The only way to avoid this new charge is to enroll in auto bill pay, pay by VZW gift card, pay in store, or to pay by check. My question is, are they going to start paying us for the problems with the phones and with the service that we supposedly buy from them?

    I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking.
    Facebook always wants to know too much, but you can ignore those prompts, or lie to it if you want. You'll notice that a lot of people work at 'noneofyourbusiness'.

    I concur with Dahveed. While the risk may be relatively small if as he says the site is secure (which means that the communication is encrypted and hence would be very difficult to intercept and decode), it is still a risk. It's even not unimaginable that someone could just be looking over your shoulder, or using a video camera, and capturing your password. It's not worth it, to my mind. Better to wait until you're home or otherwise in a private space with a WiFi connection you, or someone you trust, controls.

    My Bank of America account works fine if I use Internet Explorer. Safari seems to work fine except that after listing bills to be paid, Safari does not highlight the "Pay Bills" button. The button remains dark. I've trashed preferences, ran permissions etc. Any body got any ideas. Thanks

    1. There are no viruses for Mac. There is currently one trojan, but the latest security update from Apple is taking care of that. Additionally, you can take a look at these:

    I do not have any anti virus software on my Mac; if there is ever a virus, I will use ClamXAV (free). Your computer's worst enemy is, frankly, the user who downloads things they don't know, possibly from questionable sites. Microsoft viruses can't do your Mac any harm since they can't read the Mac OS to do harm; however, you could unwittingly be forwarding one in an email to a PC friend. I don't forward attachments unless I know the source.

  • Pay bill on the phone but it will not except payment?

    I have been paying my bill via phone since 2011 and now it won't accept my check.  The same one that they have in their system since 2011.  I have been past around and past around by customer services.  I have done everything they have said two times over.  The check keeps getting rejected as account not located.  I have been to my bank three time and they wrote a letter saying my account is fine and I faxed it to Verizon, but I keep getting told it's not there problem.  They had me call their check cashing company, Certigy, to see if the issue is with them.  Seems to me Verizon is going through this company Verizon should deal with them.   Certigy said there wasn't anything wrong with my checks.  Verizon still didn't believe me so Verizon put us on a conference call with Certigy so they could hear it themselves.  This has been going on since last Wednesday and I just don't know what to do anymore.  The Financial Service  manager was totally rude and all he wanted was another form of payment and in no way trying to fix the problem. I don't understand why the check was fine all the months before and now there system is saying it doesn't exists?  I don't understand why I'm being treated like I'm the bad guy when all I wanted to do is pay my bill from the same account I always do.  I'm told to get a debit card or charge card to make the payment and they pretty much told me it was my problem and would not investigate their end of the problem with there system rejecting payment on a good long standing account.  I had to have a friend make the payment and pay him by the same checking account that Verizon says doesn't exists.  How do I get someone to fix this????

    First I would like to thank you for responding to my post.  The message the get back is the can't locate the account.  This is the same checking account I have used on the phone with Verizon since 2011.  I have contact my bank three times and they say there is no issue.  The bank (TCF) even wrote me a leter so I could fax into Verizon as proof there is nothing wrong with my account.  I have paid by phone to my charge card company, gas company and car insurance with no problem.  Verizon just transfers me from person to person.  They all re-enter the acct numbers and get the same results.  I work in payroll amd I'm familiar with how EFT works.  I beleive someone triggered something in your system to make my checking a saving acct, which it isn't.  I dont know how to get Verizon to dig deeper into fixing this.   I don't know how to make a private message yet but I will try to figure it out and give the information reqested.  Thank you again.

    to pay a bill via email, I download the pdf sent to me and am prompted to enter a security code. Everything works on the form, but the adobe does not allow me to select the year 2014 to complete the payment... using my TDS email. I had been using Microsoft Outlook for my email in the past and the download worked perfectly. my utility company told me to upgrade to Adobe 7... my Adobe version is XI

    ive had a really bad case of customer service from bt i moved house in july 2012 and rung and switched over my phone and broadband and from the day we moved in we have never recieved a paper bill through the post or had a phone call to say if our bil;l was over due. the first few months living at our new address they kept cutting our service off without warning and we would ring explain again we havent recvieved our bill and then would pay what we owe or they woulds let us do part payment or pay on our pay day and reconnect us.
    today we were cut off and i ring up and they sday we havent paid since july which is wrong and now asking for 370 pounds or 270 to be reconnected why would they not cut us off before like they did in the past now i have a new born baby in the frezzing cold and snow and cnt contact anyone dont have a mobile
    they wouldnt even listen to me when i saud i had some finacial diffculties and tried to arrange a payment plan
