Payment methods help
i created a new apple id on the computer and when i go to use it on the iphone i have to review my account and it asks for payment method, is there any way around this.

If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on that account first e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

Iphone's App store rejects payment method, even for free apps! Someone please help me!

Last night i downloaded some apps, that i had to pay for using my Visa Credit Card. I have had this set as my payment method for ages. Anyway, it all worked and i got the apps, but today i tried to download another app, which was free and i had to sign in to my Apple ID or whatever the prompt is, so that i could download the free app.
I signed in and recieved another popup asking me to sign in and review billing information. I pressed OK and signed in again and was taken to the billing information and payment information page. On this page it says that there was an error with a previous purchase from the App Store and that i must check all my payment information is correct. All the information that i had entered there when first adding my payment method was still there. Except for the security code.
I re-entered the security code and pressed done, and the page said that the payment information was not valid, or not allowed and asks me to change my payment information and / or method. So i re-enter all my information for my payment method and it still doesn' t work. It still says that there is an error with a previous purchase and that i must recheck or change my payment and billing information. The error cannot be right though, as all the apps that i have either downloaded or bought have downloaded fine.
Sometimes the error message changes to saying my payment information has been rejected, which cannot be right either, as i was using the payment method yesterday. I know i don't have any funds in my account at the moment, but that should not be relevant as i am trying to download a free app.
I tried downloading different free apps, but was unsuccessful.
Because I spent around an hour or so trying to download the app, i then downloaded the lastest software update, which was 6.0.1 or something. I updated from the 5.something software.
I was still unable to download anything from the app store.
I have tried to edit the billing and payment information from the App Store, Safari on the Iphone and from Google Chrome on my computer, none of these have helped.
If someone has a soloution or if Apple can sort my account out, i will be so grateful.
I use an Iphone 3gs and updated the software on it after my payment information wasn't working for about an hour.

It had something to do with Apple's system not reading the credit card info correctly even if it had been stored and worked fine before. They fixed my problem instantly after I wasted alot of time trying to get things to work.

Hi, can you help me for my payment account? It's always show " Your payment method was declined..." How can I fix it? There's only 3 to choose fpr Visa, Master Card and Amex.. But doesn't have "None".. I can't download any apps from app store

can't download anything from app store or itunes. everytime i try to install an app i get this error "there is a billing problem with a previous purchase. please update ur payment method". i have recently changed my visa debit card and home adress and when i make these changes i still get the same error.
will u please help me out?Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

This sign appeared in my account: "Your payment method was declined. Update your biiling info'. After adding new information about my others cards I see the same sign. Can't understand what the problem is and what should I do. Everything used to be good before.

My mom let me use her credit card as my payment method in the past. She then had her credit card canceled due to an issue with a company. This payment method is no longer valid, so i was wanting to change the payment method to "none" but it is not available as an option. I'd like to know if there is any way to deselect my payment method because i no longer have one. Thank you.
I live in the Mid-West of the United States. This is an existing account and based on the research i have done on this issue, I've discovered that many people have been saying that the "None" option is only available if you're creating a new Apple ID. Also, when i attempt to change the payment to her new credit card(which i have given up on), it is declined. I've tried it many times but it's always unsuccessful, and i just ordered pizza with it last night so there is money on it. Thank you for the attempt to help me. Much appreciated.

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Using those instructions you may also be able to select PayPal if that is allowed in your country. -

The problem is that I am returning two rows.
I have gone in to the application and changed the default payment method from 'Check' to 'Electronic' and I am able to see the change on one of the records, however I am unable to determine how I'm supposed to narrow it down to just this record. I am pulling what hair I have left out!

I want to change my payment method with new credit card information as current credit card has expired. But when I try to change payment method , returns your payment method is not valid or allowed and continues to prompt to change the same. But when I try to update with whew credit card number, it doesn't accept and continue to refuse the payment method.
This problem is not allowing me to purchase of any kind either paid or even free as well. Doesn't allow to even purchase free books even

I don't think that debit cards are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined. You could try contacting iTunes support but I don't think that you will be able to use it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If you don't have a credit card then are iTunes gift cards available in your country ? They are not available in all countries and they are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), so you won't be able to use those from another country. -
PLEASE HELP!!! "Payment method decline"
Im from Malaysia and i have a problem with my payment registration. I've tried to register my Maybank Visa Debit for my payment while purchased at appstore, but it keep saying that " the payment method was decline and try other payment method". Why is it happen? Is it because i cant doing my purchase using visa debit? I've already call the bank and they said that my account already active for online shopping..please help me...i want to purchase fifa13 asap! Need help with check out form - Payment method error
When I check out error comes up "Payment Method must be selected" though it is.
The 30 day account option works but Credit cards get the above error.
