PC Suite 6.86.9.3 - Music Manager shuts down.

I just bought the nokia n73 ME, and I downloaded the PC suite 6.86.9.3 from the net. However when I try to use the Music Manager to transfer music, after I select the songs and choose copy to the phone, my music manager shuts down.
Please advise if there is a bug in the PC Suite. I have re-installed the PC Suite back on my phone, and tried everything...PLease advise.

I am using an USB connection. And just to give you some more details, I am using windows xp with 256 MB Ram.
What I tried was copying the files from my pc and pasting it in the music folder using the file explorer...!! and it worked fine...!! but now, if I need to set a message tone as one of those songs {from profiles-general-message tone} none of those songs appear in the default list...which I think it should...
Is it because I transfered the music the other way and not using the Music manager? and is there a fix or any other way that u can think of being able to see those transfered song in the default list to be able to choose them as a message tone?

PCS 6.8 music manager shuts down

Hello support,
When I open Nokia PC Suite's new Music Manager 1.0, It sits open for about 30 seconds and then shuts down with the following error message:

1)Have tried removing all PCS enteries from Add/Remove Programs.
2)Run PCS Cleaner 3.3 with all options chosen.
3)Rebooted PC several times.
4)Laptop PC Fujitsu Seimans C-Series Lifebook C1020.
5)Internal CD/DVD rom drive.
6)WIN XP Pro OEM SP2.
7)No Anti-virus or Firewall sw running.
8)Nokia N91 (connected or not connected)
9)Orange network
10)Firmware version v1.00 26-03-06
any help on fixing this issue would be appreciated ;o)

Your best solution is to use some other tool to rip the music, then use File Transfer (USB mass storage) to drag and drop. It's much faster than using PC Suite.
i-Tunes allows you also to rip into AAC (m4a) and that works with N91.
I've tested WMP 9 and WMP10 (now beta testing WMP11) and they all work differently but work with N91 (both WMA and MP3 formats)
WInamp also rips into formats that are supported in N91.
If you don't want to pay for the encoder, use Audiograbber. It's great for Mp3

Hi again, the music manager still shuts down straight away even after i've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version. I have no idea why!
pc suite version: version 6.83.14.1
connectivity cable drivers: 6.83.9.0
solution : 7.7.10.0
Right now I'm unable to upload or organise any music because it shuts down immediately.

IPhone 8.3 music app shuts down when I try to open it

Since updating to 8.3, both my iPhone 6+ and my iPad 3 will not play music from my playlists. The music app shuts down and reverts to the home screen each time I try to play music.

I went to Genius Bar in an attempt to resolve this issue. They suggested putting my device into restore mode while connected to my computer and restoring the software. This did NOT resolve the problem. It now appears that it is only the "Recently Added" play list that shuts down the music app on both my iPhone and iPad. If I play from any of my other playlists, the problem doesn't occur.

Desktop Manager shuts down without prompt in the middle of sync

My desktop manager shuts down without prompt in the middle of sync without an error message. Each time I sync I have to reopen it mutiple times before a sync in completed. Has anyone else experieced this

Desktop Manager shuts down when syncing Outlook 2007 calendar

Hey,
I've had my Curve for about 6 months, and now the desktop manager shuts down when syncing the calendar. It gets throught the address book and then I get a message that an error has occurred and it must shut down. I sync with an Outlook 2003/XP on my work computer and have no problems, but my home computer runs Outlook 2007/Vista. I'd love some help figuring out this issue. Thanks!

ML Server- managing shut down

What is the best way to set up a regular power cycle of the Mac Mini when using it with Mountain Lion Server? Ideally, would like to schedule a weekly automatic shutdown of the hardware and restart of the Mini. Since running Server, I notice that prior to shutting down Server wants to get OK to shut down and send push notifications to clients.
Can I automate the process for a weekly power cycle of several clients (two of three) and the Server Machine, with Server, or even the previous method- System Preferences>Energy Saver?

Thanks for your comments, Jaime. The BSD (Linux) command seems suitable. How would it play into a server control script?
My idea was to call the clients to shut down, shut down the server, power down the hardware. Next, wait 10-15 min. and power up the Server machine, then the clients (reversing the order) after the Server is alive and running. I hadn't planned any server cleanup at this time but it is obviously quite do-able.
I find power cycle a VERY convenient way to flush many built-up slowdowns in the OS from the hardware. I try to do it once a week at off hours. Usually Monday morning (in the case of one client), or Sunday @ 12N (in case of the rest). I have a System Pref schedule on all the machines now, perhaps it could be scripted and called direct from the server machine instead?
How would I go about this? ML Server does very few jobs for me now, simply being a file share manager at this time.

Opening Control Center Manager Shuts Down OWB Application

We are currently using OWB Release 10g Release 2 and have not had any issues for the past 1.5 years. All of the sudden beginning last week, we started experiencing issues with the software.
1. Last week, I logged into Design Center. No problems. I then went to Tools - Control Center Manager. As the Control Center window attempted to open, it shut down the entire OWB application. Interesting. I logged in as a different user and was able to get in later.
2. As of today, I don't have any issues with OWB. I'm able to get to Control Center without any problems.
3. My co-worker is experiencing the same problem that I had last week. As soon as he tries to open Control Center Manager, all of OWB shuts down including Design Center. He restarted his PC, tried to log in as a different user, etc. but nothing seems to help.
We looked under the C:\OraHome_1\owb\log directory but nothing is there. Does anyone have any clues as to what is going on or where we can check to see what is causing this problem?

Worth starting the OWB client using the batch or shell script depending on your platform (either owb/bin/win32 or owb/bin/unix/owbclient.sh) and pasting the standard output from the console window into the forum when you do this, it might have some clues.

After IOS 8.3 update my music app shuts down everytime I try to open it!!!!!I

i Just updated my iphone 6 to the new IOS 8.3 software and now everytime I try to open my music app it shuts down inmediately!!! It never happend before the IOS UPDATE

The reset didn't work for me.
I was able to start Music and then really quickly tap to get out of the playlist I was on, and then I was able to play music normally from a different playlist. I just removed the offending playlist from my phone and now I'm re-syncing to see if the issue persists.

Password Manager shut down

Hi,
since the latest Windows XP Updates the password manager is starting up on my T61p, but it's showing only the "About" Dialog Box with a OK button. After clicking on OK the program shut down. I'm running on Version 8.10.0006.00 of CSS.
Besides the Lenovo Message Center is starting with an empty dialog box even and is shut downed also.

I recreate password file successfully on the different OS (windows 2k server). I guess that it might be very identical conceptually. This is what I have done:
1. shutdown the instance.
2. delete the pwdfile under oracle_home\database, (oracle_home/dbs under Unix environment).
3. create a new pwdfile as you did under the proper directory.
4. log in the server manager (svrmgrl) with sysdba role and restart the instance. It should be ok with new pwdfile.

Music Store shuts down (Still)

For over a month now, I have not been able to axcess the Itunes music store from this computer (Persario 2100 Window XP) I tunes seems to work fine until I click link for music store / I can see the store loading in the Itunes message window on the progress bar, however as the progess bar reaches the end the entire Itunes program shuts down. I believe I tryed every helpful hint listed in the help files and posted in these discussion, I just purchased a new Ipod for my son and use his disk to install the newest version, however nothing seem to work.

Well the USA store is up and running, I just accessed it now at roughly 2:30 am Eastern Time (11:30PM Pacific time).
Theres something blocking you or something not set right on your PC or connection. Just to cover the basics do this....
1) Goto control panel>add and remove and uninstall iTunes AND quicktime. Then go here and roll down to "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Scan the PC for malware with Ewido http://www.ewido.com
Then disable your antivirus and security programs and goto apple.com to download/install the latest version.
2) Try disabling programs one at a time and then try accessing the store. Disable your firewall and try, if that doesn't work disable antivirus and try again ect ect...
3) If you are connecting to the net thru a router or some device, try (If you can) connecting your internet connection directly to the PC instead of thru the router/device
4) UPDATE, goto Microsote/windows update site and make sure windows is up to date. Goto the PC makers site and manually look for updates to your PC model, Make sure your internet browser is up to date, If your connecting thru a router goto the routers web site and make sure it has the latest firmware updates. If you have a router that came from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) ask them or look on there site for firmware updates for the router

Created slide show in iPhoto, but with new version music no longer will play. When I click on fit slideshow to music, iPhoto shuts down. How can I fix this.
