PC Suite erases past appointments in Outlook

PC Suite deletes all apppointments from the previous week and a month back, every time i syncronize.
PC Suite is set up to sync calendar and contacts 2 weeks back and 12 months forward.
Conflict resolution is set to Mobile as master. Sync is both directions.
PC/OS: Vista32Business sp1
PIM: Outlook 2007
Connect: Bluetooth
PCSuite: 7.1.18.0
Handset: e50

After setting this sync settings have you restarted your Outlook?
I am afraid for Outlook, we have got different folders on PC, so that mapping can be done on respective folders(Calendar for events, meetings, tasks etc, Contacts folder for Contacts) where mapping is done. But for other like as you mentioned gmail, how pc sync will have a mapping on your pc to sync your another account(not outlook) and phone?
There are no other folders created for example gmail Contacts. Only the original Outlook folders are visible.
Because there are no such new folders in outlook corresponding to gmail account. I hope atleast this may give you some idea, am i getting something wrong on your post ?

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with the iCloud Control Panel. I found an article referencing the error message you are getting:

Nokia PC Suite not syncing with MS Outlook 2010 Er...

I installed Nokia PC suite V3.8.48 which seems ot be latest version but it will not sync with MS Outlook
I created a new Windows profile, loaded Outlook and then started over with Phone syncing and it will not put the contacts or other items into Outlook.
There is only a Sync option (with the phone) not Sync with Outlook
I get an Error saying
"There was a problem syncing your Calendar Items and Tasks, Please reinstall Microsoft Outlook on your computer. If that does not help try Repairing Nokia Suite"
"Error code 8386007d"

Considering this is a brand new Windows Account and new Outlook Install hard ot see what error could be, any help or ideas appreciated

Recurring Appointments in Outlook

Hi There,
iPhone 3G connected to UK 02 Network - v2.02 Firmware
I have recurring appointments in Outlook which occur 3rd Tuesday in each month. Occasionally, these conflict with other meetings so we move them to later in the day.
When I do this, it moves OK in my outlook and notifies the other participant -- however the iPhone displays the appointment at the old and new times (duplicates).
Is this specific to the way our exhancge server is set up? Are other people experiencing the same problem?
Any suggestions? Or do I need to wait for a fix from Apple?

How can I see the files that are attached to appointments in outlook

I store files in my appointments in Outlook on my work server that contain travel details, meeting agendas etc. I need to be able to access these on my ipad yet I can't find any way of making them come across to iCal.

HT1296 Apple does not sync my Outlook Saturday appointments, yes it leaves out only the Saturday appointments from Outlook. What to do about this?

When I sync Outlook to my iPhone, my Saturday appointments from Outlook don't appear on my iPhone calender. All other appointments are correct except there are no Saturday appoinments...weird...What to do about this?

Scanpst.exe is a repair program for the Outlook data files. You should be able to find the program in the Microsoft Office folder on the computer. You might have to search for it. After you open that, you navigate to your Outlook data file. That is generally in your Documents folder. After running it, it should tell you if it repaired anything.
Also, in iTunes, you might want to reset the sync history. That is done by opening iTunes, going to Edit, Preferences, Devices, and click on the button.
Since you are not getting sync from phone to Outlook, you may need to create a new calendar in Outlook. If you know how to create a new blank calendar, do that and add a couple of new appointments. Try weekday and weekend. After connecting the phone to the computer, make sure you have it set to sync in iTunes and try a sync. See if it works. If it does, you may need to export your other calendars to a file and then import them back to the new calendar.
You can also try creating a new calendar on the phone and syncing that to see if it shows in Outlook.

Did this begin after entering a specific appointment? Many times, the entry of a specific appointment, or editing one with a recurrance will trigger this type of problem. Have you tested entering an appointment on the computer and seeing if it will sync? Try entering one on the phone and see if it will sync. Many times it will go one way and not the other, and that helps to diagnose the problem. You can also take the time to run scanpst.exe on your outlook.pst file. That can help to find problems. Did you create an appointment with a reminder that is to go off when the appointment is due, rather than a period of time before hand? Sometimes the iPhone has a problem handling the reminder of zero (0) minutes, which means when the appointment is due. One last thing to do is to open iTunes, go to edit, preferences and then reset the sync history.

PC Suite can't open MS Outlook (Nokia 3650)

Dear Madam/Sir,
I have a Nokia 3650, I used PC Suit without any problem before. I removed Norton antivirus, and since PC Suit can't open MS Outlook for synchronisation (at this stage no other antivirus was installed). Since I installed NOD 32, Windows Defender and the regular Windows Firewall is also working. I reinstalled the latest version of PC Suit from the internet for this mobile. All other function of PC Suit is working properly. I also tried to reinstall PC SUIT with disabled NOD 32 and Windows Defender. At the moment nothing helped for me. Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

Hi there, why do you whant PC suite to open Outlook? My PC suite is taking defined data automatically. Check again.
At the same time you are right. When I am asking PC suite to open folders, application is buzzing. I sent a request to Nokia care. So let's see, may be new PC suit version will solve it.

How to recieve past appointments with FindAppointmentsAsync?

How can I recieve all past appointments with the new WP8.1 API
I use this code for example but I get only
"non" recurring appointments from -15 days until + 30 days
and recurring appointments from -30 days until +30 days

I note that the native Calendar have the same behavoir.

It may be an issue with how your Calendar is setup (through Exchange?). I can see calendar events even for a year ago (April 2013) and for next year (April 2015) using this code:

PIMSync Contacts linked to appointments in Outlook/Lotus Notes

Hi,
Is it possible to automatically link appointments from Outlook Calendar or Lotus Notes to the contacts (which are invited for the appointment via Outlook or Lotus Notes) in CRM On Demand using PIMSync? If not, is there a workaround, e.g. using a different program?

8130 Deleting past appointments

I have seen this thread posted a couple of times, but no final answers. I am hoping someone can still help me. I have just purchased an 8130 through US Cellular and all of my past appointments, older than 10 days, are getting deleted each time I sync. I am running a USB cable sync with desktop manager. I have both DM and the phone set to keep appointments forever and transfer all items. After 2 hours on the phone with US Cell tech support, no resolution. I have a 2 gig memory card in the phone and have transferred all rintones, pics and videos over to the card to free up phone memory. Phone memory currently says, 8462299 free. Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly where it is and don't have a setup where I can check it, but basically you need to modify the setting in Desktop Manager.
In DM go into Sync settings, select your Calendar sync and click the Advanced button. You should find the setting in there.

How do you see reoccurring appointments in outlook for mac in the "DAY" view

i can't see reoccurring appointments in OUTLOOK 2011 for MAC when I select the "DAY" view... when I select ANY other view such as "week, work, month", the "hidden" reoccuring appointments show up. How do I get the reoccurring appointments to display ALSO in DAY view?

Which email service supports Diary appointments from Outlook?

I have just bought a new iphone 3G. Previously I was using a Blackberry.
I want to be able to receive diary appointments from Outlook users into a mail account so my diary appears on my iphone.
Which email service is best to set up. I have tried mobile me but the outlook appointment appears to come through with an object in the content which cannot be opened. Am I missing something?

outlook.com is very nice I use it to fetch my gmail account since gmail did not support Exchange active sync anymore

All Scheduled Appointments gone - Outlook 2003

I updated Itunes to latest version and all my standing appointments with re-occuring features are now GONE!!! ANyone know how to revert data back so I can get my yearsd of birthdays, anniversaries, etc back. For Outlook 2003

I posted the same problem this past Friday. I called Apple and they offered no explanation. First person implied I did something during the software installation to cause this to happen. She didn't believe it was iTunes' fault. The second person was nicer, though I got no where with him. According to this "product specialist" there is a reset sync histroy in the preferences, but it will only allow you to reset data back to the most recent successful sync, and if that's the sync in which the problem occurred, you are hosed. If my IT department can't restore my calendar, then I am gong to try to recover data from my Palm Treo, but that data will be about 3 weeks old and I will have to recreate the calendar items since then. Argh! You pay $600 for a phone, and this is what happens!
