PC Suite Get connected Wizard not offer Bluetooth ...

Hi, Just purchase the Nokia 6300 and it's amazing, I now want to download music on to it. I have purchased from Tesco and uploaded the Techblue1 (Technika) Bluetooth Adaptor to my PC. I have installed Nokia PC Suite to my PC which is Windows XP, but in the Get connected Wizard the is no option to choose Bluetooth.
I've tried repairing but this does not help. How do I get the option please?
Thanks so much. x

Hi lizzyloo26
Forgetting PC Suite for the moment provided that phone Bluetooth is "on" and phone's visibilty "shown to all" what happens if you try to "Add a Bluetooth device" on your PC?

    Hi Ravi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used PowerPivot data in SharePoint 2010.
Please make sure that the account used to run data refresh has read permissions on the data source, then refresh again, compare the result.
In addition, there are some reasons for this issue, please take a look at the links:

    Hello,
I have a working install of BI EE 10.3.3.4
and a fresh install of JDeveloper 11g prod (with BI updates installed immediately after).
    I did the following:
    - created a blank Application with a generic Project;
    - set the project properties to include BI technologies (and checked CLASSPATH includes those jars);
    - tried to use BI Presentation Services Connection Wizard;
    got the following error:

  • Get Connected issue PC Suite 6.8 and 6.7

    Info:
Windows XP SP2, Nokia PC Suite Version 6.81.13.0, Connectivity Cable Drivers: Version 6.81.1.2
    Nokia 6680, firmaware V 2.23.05
I have installed the new PC Suite, had 6.7 running before and that worked fine for Bluetooth and cable connection. Now with new PC Suite I get the error message at the ´Get Connected Wizard´ that there is no available connection found and the connection to the phone cannot be etablished. Second message states "Failed to detect available connection types, please reinstall PC Suite".
I reinstalled several times, even uninstalled (used the uninstaller of PC suite too) and installed 6.7 again but get the same message there now as well.
Bluetooth itself sees the phone and is already paired with it again. Under Device Manager, I can also see the USB connection (Cable).
Please help me fixed this issue, what is preventing the Connection Wizard to see my existing connection to the phone?

Hello Manta and fuzzy_logic, Thanks for the quick reply, tried both suggestions, even uninstalled pc suite and reinstalled it, to no avail.
If I go to manage connections I get the following error message " Connection to PC Suite failed. Please reinstall Nokia PC Suite. (code: init IMediaControl2).

  • 6021 not recognised bluetooth or Cable

Hi I've got (for my sins)
    PC Suite V6.70.22
    Operating system:
    Microsoft Windows XP
    Build 2600
    Service Pack 2
    Bluetooth stack:
    Microsoft Bluetooth stack
    Version 5.1.2600.2180
    Ca42 cable with ser2pl.sys V 2.0.0.18 by manufacturer Ms3303H
    1) Bluetooth:
    COM12='Nokia PC Suite',COM14 = 'COM1' outgoing and 13 incoming
Computer appears as paired device on phone, 6021 appears in WIN Bluetooth menu with passkey enabled and connected.
Run PC Suite, 'get connected' -finds phone but dialogue box says" Cannot authenticate the phone".
Disconnect bluetooth AND remove pairing from phone and delete connection from PC.
    2) CA42 cable connection (on COM10)
0x80043605 PC Suite does not recognise the connected phone, switch it off & on again. I do, phone says data enhancement connected when connected to cable, as before. Nothing happens in get connected window. I re-check 'Manage Connections' applet and make sure only CA42 is selected (CA53 driver also on this pc for wife's phone) but still no response from PC suite.
    What next please?
I've tried resetting phone to default a couple of times and I've gone through this procedure in both directions. Ocassionally I get an "Enhancement not supported" message from the phone.
    Paul

Thanks, I Have installed, stripped out, and re-installed drivers for CA-42 and CA-53. Have run without CA-53 drivers as well. The current version of PC suite says the drivers are included but XP always asks for drivers when the cable is plugged in.
No other bluetooth connections are mentioned in ther sytem tray "show bluetooth devices" dialogue and I have tried with all but the the Pcsuite COM connection disabled by the bluetooth devices CP.
I think the phone may be faulty.

  • How do I get the iPod on my iPhone for to allow AirPlay with my bluetooth in my car?  The phone will connect but not the iPod in AirPlay.

I am able to connect my iPhone 4 phone to receive and make calls but unable to connect the iPod to Bluetooth using AirPlay. The symbol came up once, I changed it to speakers and the option never appeared again.

"unable to connect the iPod to Bluetooth using AirPlay."
That is correct as this is not what airplay does at all.  Airplay works only with airplay enabled device vis WI-FI ( Apple TV, airport express)
"With AirPlay, you can wirelessly stream videos, music, and photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to Apple TV (2nd generation) and stream music to AirPlay speakers or receivers, including AirPort Express."

Cannot get pcsuite to connect top the phone at all
    Help

I really could not get more frustrated with Nokia than I am at the moment.
Firstly I have been trying to login and/or register a new account so I can post here for almost 24 hours. The web site returning 404-not found or simply a blank page not only from my computers at home but a couple at work too.
This really is not good enough. There isn't even a contact point for the webmaster that I could find to warn of these failures.
Back to the plot. . .
I have paired with WIDCOMM on both the version of PC Suite that came with the phone (a 6822) and the latest download-able version doing complete uninstalls between of all Nokia components using uninstall and add/remove programs.
Both version ask me to pair with the phone (the later one asks me to pair even though it shows the phone with the padlock symbol next to it in the list, indicating it is already paired). The phone connects and then within seconds disconnects.
Connection via infrared works fine but this is not what I want to do for many reasons.

  • PC Suite does not recognise bluetooth

I have a Nokia 6280 purchased last September running v.05.92. I've not been able to update this successfully as when installing a more up-to-date version always seems to disconnect the phone (via cable), causing the update to fail.
I'm running pc suite 6.83.8.7 on a brand new Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.
The phone has failed twice and has had to be sent back on both occasions to have its software reinstalled.
I've been trying to connect to my laptop with Bluetooth (V2.0+EDR). The phone and laptop (bluetooth manager) recognise each other just fine, however PC Suite keeps coming up with the message:
"Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available". I have tried reinstalling PC Suite and Bluetooth but cannot get past this message in the Get Connected menu of PC Suite.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi jogray40,
If you using are PC Suite 6.8 try this:
Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Select 'Nokia PC Suite Solution' -> Change -> Repair. After that open Connection manager and check is it there.
If that did not help try this: Click 'Start' -> 'Run' -> add command: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\PCSuite\Transports\NclIVTBTMM.dll" . After that restart PC.

Is there any way to get a log of the bluetooth devices my Iphone has been connected to?  I recenly had my Bluetooth Jabra stolen from my car and now a simliar one is on Craigslist.  I'd like to give my connection log to the police before I go and see if my Iphone recognizes the device in question.  Any way to get any type of bluetooth device connection log out of my iphone?

Your contacts should still be on whatever program you sync your iphone to (i.e. Outlook, address book).
The iphone is not a stand alone device. It is designed to be synced with a computer. If you have not been syncing with a compatible program, then you are out of luck. Your contacts are not included in the back-up because it is meant to be synced with your computer.
"Although iTunes backs up most of your iPhone and iPod touch settings, downloaded applications, and other information (Contacts, calendars, notes, images in the Camera Roll), your audio, video, and photo content are not included in the backup."

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page.

    Hi Tomiwa,
You cannot print from the iPad to that printer. AirPrint and Bluetooth are completely different.
There may be apps you can buy that will enable using that printer, but that is not an ideal solution.
That particular printer has had many bad reviews, and is unreasonably expensive for its features. Considering that you just bought the printer, as well as its lack of AirPrint, I suggest you return it and buy a printer that supports AirPrint.

  • I have a new unlocked iphone3gs. I cannot get the video to work. When I try to record video I am not offered any options. It films until I tap the red button, but then everything just freezes. I

I have a new (from Apple) unlocked iPhone3gs. I cannot get the video recorder to work. When I take video I am not offered any options at the start or the end of filming. The screen freezes when I hit the red stop button. But that's it. I have to hit the home button to get out of that. And none of the v-recordings can be found on my phone anywhere.
Also I'm having trouble with Bluetooth. My Mac says it's paired with the phone, but the phone says not; even though It accepts the pairing code from the Mac. I'm getting very frustrated with these problems. I came on here to find the user manuel, but can only find the fingertip manuel and the product license manuel. Both of which I have in hard copy.
And the most annoying thing is the sound on the calls. I can hardly hear the caller.
    Anyone got any helpful advice?
    Thanks, Elizabeth

    Robert or Elizabeth...
Sync media using iTunes, not Bluetooth.
When the screen freezes on the iPhone, try "resetting".
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Serously doubt this is a "new" iPhone 3GS. More likely refurbished.
