PD configuration: is appraisal model and appraisal catalog one and same?

Dear Members,
first time i am working on Personnel development.
i was little confussed with configurations. is appraisal model and appraisal catalog one and same?
if they are not same where we are relating model and catalog?

here i am creating Appraisal model (BS), Criteria Group BG and Criterion BK using PP01 t code and Appraisal Template VA, Criteria Group VB,and Criterion VC are creatig in IMG Screen, how does we relate them and where do we create Appraisal Object type BA.
i have created VA->VB->VC and BS->BG->BK.
how about BA?

No Appraisal Model in Appraisal Overview

Hi,
in ECC5 EP6sp15. MSS 60.1.18 (not webdynpro)
We're using PD -> Appraisals not OSA
I have created some appraisals but the Appraisal Model drop down doesn't contain them. Anyone suggest what I need to do to get them to come through? Can't see anything in the doco.

Elements 10 and Adobe Catalog One

I have this folder Adobe Catalog One with the same number of jpgs in the photo
directory I am using with Elements 10. They all have a file name on B000???.jpg
and there is not identify metadata associated with these files. What is this? Can
I safely delete?
Can I rename files in my photo directory that are part of Elements 10 from outside

What you are looking at is a folder created by an organizer backup.
The folder contains everything to restore your backup by using the integrated menu in the organizer to restore. Only the organizer can use that folder.
If you think the backup is not useful (too old...), you can delete it safely. The general rule is to backup on an external drive for safety. Remember that a backup is the whole folder containing those renamed files. That folder also contains other files like catalog.buc (a copy of the database) and backup.tly (which can translate the file names and folder trees in the restore process). Without a backup.tly file, you can't restore the catalog.

Getting the original values in table maintenance and the new one and send t

Hello experts,
In table maintenance, I need to capture the original values in that selected column/field and
also the new one and send it to email. For example, I have a field in my z table named zaddress and whenever
the user changes the contents of that selected row I need to get/fecth the original value and the new and send it to email.
So the email will be something like this:
Dear Admin,
Changes were made to ztable. Here are the changes:
Customer : Customer 1
Order no : 1
Original Address : example address A
New Address : example address B

If u r using Modulepool programming to change the field contents ,u just capture field value into one variable .This is possible in PBO.before displaying .once u change the field value and press something ,now capture changed value in another variable .This is possible in PAI.After pressing something to modify Database.
I think u can get one idea after reading this .

I bought a 5th Gen Touch. I use iTunes 12 on two computers. One computer allows me to drag and drop. The other does not.The one that allows it has problems. Any idea as to why I can drag and drop on one and not the other. Both are authorized.

I bought a 5th Gen Touch. I use iTunes 12 on my two computers. I first connected the Touch to my desktop and it allows me to drag and drop mp3 files from my old Classic, which is backed up to a directory. Unfortunately, that computer has gone down before I got a chance to fill the Touch. I have the files on another computer but when I connect the Touch to it, it doesn't allow me to drag and drop the files. I have iCloud set on both systems and I have manual management check marked. I'm not understanding why it allows drag and drop on one PC and not the other when they are both set the same way. My question? What do I need to do to be able to drag and drop in iTunes 12? I didn't do anything special on the computer that allows it so I am at a loss.

Downloaded tv show episodes. Bought the entire season and after watching one and downloaded first 4-5 they disappeared. This was during the time I was trying to migrate stuff from an older mac mini. Help?

I downloaded several episodes of the tv show "touch." I purchased the entire season and had watched one show. It took quite some time for each show to download, but I had downloaded 4-5.
About this time (within the last two weeks) I was trying to use migration assistant to migrate information from my older mac mini and my macbook. while I was able to move things from my older mac mini I noticed that the tv show went missing.
Also I purchased a program called 'Touched" in a season pass. After I downloaded a couple of episodes I watched one and continued to download the episodes as they were available.
I also purchased a program called "Tune Up" which elminates duplicates of iTunes songs. I have a large collection and this helped to get rid of the duplicates faster than clicking on them one at a time. Maybe this had something to do with the tv shows episodes and the podcasts disapeering.
Any ideas?

As far as the TV series being in 1080p then that is upto the content provider and some older seasons are in 720p or only SD eg Stargate
It may well be that the season you want is only available in 720p

Dot11radio0 and Dot11radio1 - which one and why?

As some may know by know (lol) i am setting up my 1841 for home access. I obtained a 802.11 abg module and started studying and experimenting.
What i have not yet clarified is if Dot11radio 0 and 1 - 2.4 and 5 ghz both support 54mbp transfer rates, and if the 2.4 is the most compatible and common at the time, why would someone also setup the 5ghz one? Are there any clear advantages?
I have currently both running. My small mobile devices connet to the 2.4 one and My laptop to the 5ghz but if both been activated has any downsides
i could probably move to a different setup.
Open to recommendations - suggestions!

The 2.4 GHz spectrum has only 3 available non-overlapping channels (1, 6, 11), so if you are in an area with other wireless networks in range you could see some interference. There is also potential interference from Microwaves, Bluetooth, etc.
The 5.0 GHz spectrum has many more channels available, and the chances of interference issues are much much lower.
The range is typically better on 2.4 GHz and it is more compatible with devices, but 5.0 GHz will usually have better performance. Also, with both radios turned on, you can split your clients onto both radios, so they aren't contending with eachother as much, since wireless is after all a shared medium.
No real downside to having both Radios turned on that I can think of, aside from a minimal power draw increase (not sure on the specifics)...

When i put my own contacts into my iphone 3gs and deleted existing ones, the same happened on my mums iphone 4? my iphone was hers previously, but has been unlocked by o2, we have different networks and were 12 miles apart when i did it!

My mum upgraded last week from iphone 3gs to iphone 4, I got the iphone 3gs unlocked as of this morning and proceeded to remove her contacts and put my own in.
Several hours later she came home from work to find her contacts on the iphone 4 had been replaced with the same list i had put on mine!
We have different networks, different itunes accounts etc, I can't understand why or how this has happened or most importantly how to fix it as she has lost all her numbers and is understandably very very cross....

contacts are not visible in back up, but if she restores from that back up - contacts will come back to phone. Then all her apps and music have to be synced back again. She will also have all other personal info return to the phone, but all that info will be as old, as back up itself.

I have a new motorola router and modem in one, and I can no longer connect to my airport

Under network preferences it says "AirPort is connected to MOTOROLA-D192D and has the IP address 192.168.0.3., but when I open airport utility, it says there are no airport devices within range for my computer (and the orange light it flashing on the airport).

Can I have both Nano and Shuffle on one computer/same user account?

I have a Nano that I use daily and also just purchased a Shuffle to take to the gym (I'm a bit paranoid about the Nano getting broken, lost or stolen). I'd like to have some of the same music on both devices. Can I do that? (I've yet to plug in my Shuffle in case one overrides the other.)

Yes you can! I suggest reading Knowledge Base Document #200432. If you want, you can select which songs go on which iPod by Manually adding songs, playlists, podcasts and audiobooks.
