PDF's not attaching in email

Hi,
I have a user who states that he previously was able to open an attachment from an email, modify it, and then hit the email as attachment button to send it via email. Now when he does this the pdf embeds in the email instead of attaching, and he can't open it.
We've tried opening a blank email and then attaching the pdf. That gives us the same result.
He can reply to someone and attach it.
I'm betting if we saved the pdf to his computer that would allow us to attach it normally, but he has to do this for maybe 100 different files so it would become time consuming. Other members of the staff are able to do this without saving it locally anyway. I just haven't seen what's different about his.
He's running Acrobat 9.5.5 on Windows 7 with Office 2010 installed.

I think you need to make sure your email format is set to either HTML or Plain text in Outlook.

for the moment you can Forcequit, as Eustace said.
Really quit a program you do by clicking the menu bar of the program where its name is, on the bottom you see "Quit (appname)"; when it is in the Dock, rightclick it in the Dock and choose "Quit".
Now about yout attachment: it does not matter what you did to it and where you moved it, as long as Preview is still open it doesn't let it go.

I have to develop a <b>PDF form</b> and one more requirement; I have to change the mail Content (body) and the Subject line which should have attached PDF file.The (Transaction Code VA21) Has the sending the Email part. My Requirement is to <b>Change the Content (body) and the Subject</b>.
Requirement;
When customer request for the quote, quote document is created in SAP (Transaction Code VA21). Promised Price, quantity, date is communicated to customer via quote output. Customer may decide to place firm order with reference to quote.
So this form (PDF file and send via email) is used to communicate the AMAT quote to customer. The PDF file will be as a attachment in the mail. With change subject line, and content of the mail (Thanks for the Quote, Please dont reply to this mail). It also consists of applicable terms & condition of the quote.
Is it possible to handle the Content and the Subject of the mail in Program or Form layout (SFP). or it's Enhancement?
How to go about it? I tried a lot. At last am contacting you. Please.............. Let me know. Very urgent.Point will be given sooon. Tnx a lot.....

Pdf does not open in email in iOS 8

SSince upgrading to iOS 8 only the first page on any pdf shows

since upgrading to iOS 8, PDFs are not included in the body of my email in my iPad Air. The paper clip shows up in the list but not within th email. On the other hand, the PDFs is included in the emails on my iphine 5 with iOS 8.0.

Iphoto will not attach to email!!

I have attempted three different ways to attact from Iphoto to email. First, from a New email message selecting "Photo Browser", Second from opening up Iphoto and selecting the photos and selecting email, third from opening Iphoto-selecting the Copy and Paste method of pasting into a New email message. It is not attaching nor pasting any Iphotos. This is odd as it has worked before for the past 4 years. That means that the problem is limited to your account. It could be a bad preference file. Here's one way to determine if that's the case:
Trouble Shooting Preferences
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
1 - close all applications.
2 - open your Home/Library folder and Option-drag (copy) the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
3 - select the contents of your Home/Library/Preferences folder and drag them into the Trash bin in the Dock. You will be asked to provide your Admin password.
4 - reboot. Be sure to know your account's username and password as you will be asked to log in with it.
5 - run the application again and determine if the problem(s) is fixed.
6 - If the problem is fixed:
A - open the working Home/Library/Preferences folder.
B - Open the Preferences folder on the Desktop, select all of the contents and drag them into the working Home/Library/Preferences folder.
C - When the Copy window pops up check the "Apply to All" check box and then click on the Don't Replace or Skip button.
D - reboot.
7 - If the problem is NOT fixed, drag the contents of the Preference folder on the Desktop into the Home/Library/Preference folder and replace the entire contents that were created by clicking on Replace.
8 - reboot and you're back as square one.
Note: keep the Preference folder on the desktop until you're sure all registration info for your apps are working. If not you can copy the required files from the desktop pref folder to the working one.

Files not attaching to email or other sites in safari on iMac

When I try to attach a file to email or upload files to different internet sites, Outlook/Safari crashes and a Problem Report notification pops up saying that "Mail quit unexpectedly" or "Safari quit unexpectedly".
This occurs whether I am uploading through the Outlook app, through Hotmail via Safari, or uploading to other sites (for example, when uploading a file to seek.com).
This is very frustrating as I need to attach files to email for work. i am using an iMac, Mac OS X 10.Please help!

What email program are you using or are you using web based email? Perhaps the link text does not contain all the necessary information to identify it.

Sending pdf as an attachment in email with all changes done on the pdf

Hello Everyone,
I have developed a webdynpro java application which sends a interactive form as an attachment in an email. Everything works fine except that there are some editable fields on the form and the changes dont go in the attachment. The Send Email button is on the webdynpro View. I tried many different things but nothing worked. Somehow the changes done on the form dont get saved in the pdfSource when a button on the webdynpro view is clicked. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Sales Order and Pick List reports will not attach to Email message

My client wants to email both the Sales Order and Pick List that is created from the Sales Order in the same email message. It appears that SAP B1 will not do this. Is this a bug or just the way B1 works. My client is running version 8.8 PL 19. Thank you for your help.

Pick List is associated with delivery, not sales order. If you need Pick List be emailed, you have to email delivery.

Error opening PDF file when send as attachment via email

I searched around the forum to resolve my issue and there's alot of post that is related but i can't find any answer to my issues.
Here's the scenario :-
I try to convert the smartform to PDF and then send the PDF as an attachment via email.
After converting the smartform to PDF, i managed to download the file and view it without any problem but i can't view the PDF as an attachment. It has the following error :-

Not Able to send pdf as attachment through email

I am trying to send the generated pdf as attachment throught email and for the same i am referring to this blog

and at the backend i am getting the error as

Thanks for your reply , but i cannot set the enabled property of the form as true as we are not using the licensed version of the live cycle designer . But if i try the example step by step then even by setting the enabled property as false , the pdf is generated and sent through the email and when i am trying to do the same thing in one of my applications its not working . The pdf is generated but as soon as i click on the button send mail the above told error is displayed .
There needs to be some other explaination for the error

Adobe pdf does not fully download from mail. Is there an adobe application that will do the job fully? The pdf is a download from an email attachment.

A friend sent a pdf to me attached to an email. I looked at it with my pc; the mac only shows a portion of the file. It is an adobe file. Is this common? Is there a fix? Is preview not capable of fully opening an adobe file? Has anyone else had a similar issue?

If you aren't getting the reset link on the Password & Security section of your account then you don't have a rescue email address (an alternate email address is different), and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

I receive PDFs attached to emails. When I open them and try to save them, it takes me to a temporary location on the C drive, and does not remember where I last saved a PDF.

This happens on every PDF I open from an email. The PDF opens fine, but when I go to save it I end up in a temporary location, which bears no resemblance to the location I was last in when I had to navigate to it. I am saving documents on a network location.
I am running Windows 7 SP1, and am using Adobe Reader 11.0.5

This is the appropriate behavior.. Most email programs (browsers too) store attachments (or files) in a cache area. You then need to do a save as to more them to a different location. The plug-in is finding the pdf in the location determined by the email program, so that is the last place the plug-in used. It doesn’t have a different location to use.
