PDF still not converting even after all advice from forum

Hello, I am trying to convert a PDF using Adobe Export PDF, the file is 8.6mb, when I click to convert it says "file failed to convert using Adobe Export PDF online" I tried disabling recognised text, still didn't work. Followed the link to the ExportPDF web interface, it says export complete so I save, however when you click it says 'internet explorer has stopped working' and it closes the programme. It says in Properties- Applications...and then it's blank. After PDF producer it says Acrobat Distiller 7.0 (windows) . I have comverted 7 other files in the same series, some of which are bigger, however there is just won't convert. Please help....

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!
Could you try the steps outlined in this document: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1831 ?
After going through those steps, try converting from the ExportPDF web interface again.

Execution does not end even after all records updated..

After 50 mins i can see that all records are updated but...
plsql code does not end its execution it continues even after all records are updated..untill i have to kill the session or let be run for long time.. :(
I can not understand why this it is not ending execution..
What could be the problem ...

Lightroom is still not working even after spending several hours on the phone w/ adobe. Suggestions?

At first, the issue was that we had to type the serial number in every time we used Lightroom. Now, we cannot even get Lightroom to turn on even after typing in our serial number. All we want to do is edit our pictures. How do we get Lightroom to work. I've called adobe a few times and literally spent hours on the phone with them trying different things to get it to work. Still no Lightroom. Any suggestions?

Calendar reminders (notifications) still NOT working, even after 602 update.....

So, Verizon Wireless released the 602 update to the Gingerbread OS for the Droid X, and the calendar reminder popups (notifications) are still NOT working properly.
This is VERY frustrating, as I use these notifications (reminder pop ups) for everything from business related (meetings, etc) to personal (when to take medicines, etc).
It's also VERY frustrating because BEFORE Gingerbread, when the Droid X ran Froyo, there was NOT a problem with the calendar and its reminders.
I would assume that there are MANY, MANY people being affected by this issue...and I wonder why Verizon hasn't "put the heat" on Google to FIX this issue which is clearly related to the Android OS, more specifically, Gingerbread.
I used to like the Droid X very much, but now I'm counting the days until I can get an iPhone. At least you know what you're getting, and won't have an update "break" functions of the phone.
So, Verizon, if you're listening... PLEASE get this calendar notification problem FIXED.

I'm the original poster of this topic. And let me tell you the steps that I went through to try to get this resolved, and then I'll let you know the ultimate solution that I wound up doing and am happy about (but am NOT happy about Verizon & Motorola).
1) updated DroidX to latest 602 update.
2) went into admin partition and deleted cache
still did not work
3) went into admin partition and did hard reset (complete restore) from inside the admin partition
Still did not get calendar reminders to work.
4) went into normal phone and accessed "Restore Phone to Factory Specs" from the Privacy menu in settings. This caused the phone to do a similar hard reset as in step 3, except it also ran the beginning software (welcome to your Droid, we now have to activate your phone, etc).
Calendar reminders did not work. (REMEMBER... when I say they did not work, I mean that the reminders would go off EVENTUALLY , but anywhere from 30mins AFTER the appointment to literally HOURS AFTER the appointment).
5) Created a COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT calendar at Google under a DIFFERENT screen name/account. Configured DroidX to completely forget the original calendar and to start using the NEW one.
Reminders still did NOT work properly.
6) Once again, tried hard resets.
NOPE. Still did NOT work.
7) CALLED Verizon Wireless and described my problem and they pretty much didn't/couldn't help and said they would "send a report to the engineering team" about the problem.
And HERE is the thing that REALLY BURNED ME UP about this WHOLE ENTIRE DEBACLE..... my DroidX worked 100% correctly BEFORE the Gingerbread upgrade to the Android OS. When it was running Froyo (previous OS), every single calendar reminder on my original calendar worked every single time, on time, every time. BUT... AFTER Gingerbread, it just didn't work. (Don't get me started with the phantom powering on of the phone after it was powered off problem that STILL exists after the 602 upgrade).
SO.......... what did I eventually do??? Well, by this time, I was eligible for early upgrade at upgrading pricing and switched to the iPhone4 (I didn't want the 4S). AND YOU KNOW WHAT??? Using the ORIGINAL GOOGLE calendar that I used before all the above stuff happened, my reminders on the iPhone4 work all the time, every time. These include appointments that I made 8 months ago to new ones that I make every day. And for all of them, the iPhone4 sets the reminder chime off EXACTLY when I want it to.
Now, I realize that this doesn't address the problem for you, Ganamide (who wrote above), but for me, I finally got to the point where I had missed critical appointments with clients and couldn't wait around for the DroidX Calendar Reminder Problem to be resolved.
So Verizon Wireless and Motorola (maker of DroidX) and Google (maker of Android OS) all have "negative points" in my book for allowing such a problem to continue without proper resolution. Apple, on the other hand, gets "positive points" in my book for making a product that is rock solid and works well.

Dehellu, I've posted about this problem for mor then 1½ years ago and it is still persistent. Why doesnt Spotify offer a real helpdesk or support? This "support" forum is ridiculous to solve problems at this level. I get that it's good for the small problems like installing the freaking software and help with creating new playlists for elders, but this, is just embarrissing on a whole new level. I login to the windows client, all my lists look fine and the songs I've dropped into the specific lists are where they're suppossed to be.  BUT to my amaze, when I use the webclient the list I want to listen to at that specific moment contain different songs from the standalone client. Songs that has never been in there. If you who read this look at the pictures I've attached to this thread and compare the playlists in the standalone client in widnwos and the web client in chrome. Yes to the following questions;I've tried different browsersI've tried different computers at different locations in Stockholm.It is only with my own account, the one I'm writing from at this moment the playlists gets messed up.I've created new accounts and on those accounts the playlists work across all platforms. I am sorry if I sound in text as grumpy. But it's been a problem for atleast 2 years since it took me half a year to even post on this forum about it in the first place. My account was created in the early days of Spotify back when it was new and it requierd invites in order to use it. Attachments still not opening even after new September Update??

I hope someone might be able to shed some light on this. After the new update I sent myself some word, excel, pdf attachments thinking to try the tilt/landscape feature in viewing attachments, but nothing. The attachment still shows up as a bar with the file name, but nothing happens when I click on it, as the intro video on Apple said to click on it and the attachment should open and you can see them in landscape mode?? Anyone else having this problem, all the other updates were succefully downloaded.

Copy and paste are still not working even after many workarounds

This usually happens to me randomly. I would say that there is about a 25% chance that my paste works. The copy function seems to work, but when it comes to pasting, my browser does not offer the pasting button and it stays invisible. I have disabled my firewall, disabled my antivirus, resat firefox, started in safemode, disabled all plugins, and even uninstalled and reinstalled java. I have tried everything. This is definitely a browser problem because I am able to copy and paste in any other application with out any problem. I don't like any other browser so I refuse to do so. Please help me firefox team.

IPOD STILL NOT WORKING EVEN AFTER SERVICE

Hi,
I can't belive this. I sent my ipod off for service because my ipod had a problem with its battery. The ipod would cut off when the indicator showed 1/2 full this happened about an hour into play. Yes the battery life was only about an hour.
So when i got it back I was so glad but I've just been using it and the problem still persists. I have tried the battery test and the ipod fails this test.
I cannot understand why apple has sent me my ipod back unchanged. I paid £180 for my first generation mini and at the moment it is almost useless as I have to constantly charge the battery up.
Can anyone give me some advise??? Thank You For Your Time

Did you get an email adress or phone numer for someone to complain too? I got 2 ipods. One broke sometime ago and we go a replacment and now both of them are broken. (Its not my PC, I use a Sony MP3 and it works fine). It is the lack of customer service that is bugging me. I have been trying to call Apple or an Apple store for days. Totally rubbish. My daughter threw her ipod out today!!! If you get a UK phone number or amail address please let me know. Cheers

Safari will not open even after all steps

I tried to follow Mary's instructions. I uninstalled safari and removed application support folder. I downloaded safarisetup.exe and restarted my computer. I then unconnected from intrnet and all networks. When I launch safarisetup.exe it asks for safari installer safari.msi which is no where to be found. I need help. BTW - I downloaded install for safari only.

I'd like to try an experiment. It's not a cure in itself for the issue but it might point us towards a cure.
Here's the experiment.
Head into your User accounts control panel and create a new user account with full administrative rights.
Log out of your usual user account, and log into the new user account. Now, try to launch Safari in the new user account. Does IE try to launch it, or does Safari open properly?
(Here's what I'm thinking ... in the Safari Develop menu, there's an option to open a web page with a different web browser (from inside Safari). I'm wondering if something ... ghastly ... has happened to your Safari preferences and settings files, resulting in that option being "stuck" on, so that IE always launches when you try to launch Safari. If that's what is causing the weird behavior in your usual user account, Safari should open properly in the new user account because there's a different set of Safari preferences and settings files in each different XP user account.)

Back to My Mac still not working even after updating to 10.5.1

Updated to 10.5.1 on 2 machines. each machine is is in a different house but both on Verizon DSL using Westell Versalink modem/routers models 327W A90-327W15-06 with UPNP Enabled on both.
Still nothing
they work fine when in the same house on the same network but as soon as I move one to another house on a DSL account of it's own they don't see each other anymore.
Verizon isn't much help with firmware updates for the modem/routers either. If I could talk to somebody that speak english it may be more helpful but so far no luck.
Anyone having luck with Verizon DSL and this stil modem/router?

My suggestion is to see if Verizon will let you treat the modem as a simple modem and attach your own router to it.
I've found these Westells a pain to setup, and it took me once 2 hours to get through to a Mac specialist on Verizon's end to finally get the right setup on a customer's machine. I don't know that customer's number anymore unfortunately since this was a couple years ago.

WrapPanel not found even after adding it from Blend

Everytime I run I get a parse error that tells me WrapPanel is not found in the assemblies, even though it builds fine. I added it from blend and made sure all of the references were there. What step could I be missing?

Hi all,
I faced the same problem: in one application the control worked fine but not in the other one.
While checking the dll in .\bin\Debug I detected, that System.Windows.Controls.Toolkit and System.Windows.Controls.Toolkit.Internals were not present.
The solution was quite easy: Adding the two dlls also to the main project.
In my case the structure of the LightSwitch solution is:
MySolution
MyWrapPanel
MyLightSwitchProject
MyLightSwitch.DesktopClient
MyLightSwitch.Server
Refereces to the two toolkit-dlls have to be added to MyWrapPanel and MyLightSwitch.DesktopClient.
I hope this helps other people trapping into this bug.

Firefox installed but not working even after importing settings from IE

I've just downloaded firefox and installed with settings imported from IE which is working very fine.but i couldn't get firefox worked.it keeps on saying 503 error,but IE and chrome are working excellent at the same time.i prefer firefox than those for addons.i terribly need it.help me where is it going wrong?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
