  • Search results showing incorrect modified date

    Hi All,
I have a one difficulty in search results.
Document showing incorrect modified date in search results. And this happens for one document only.
We have customized the search/results.aspx page, Our document is showing correct modified date in document properties,All Items.aspx like 31/4/2013.
But when i search with document name in search, result showing incorrect modified date like 24/6/2004.
I checked with database in SQL, every thing is fine.
I have updated the Modified date through powershell script for one document and after that this recent modified date is showing in search results.
But after updating the Modified date through powershell, issued document not showing the recent modified date in search results. still showing as 24/6/2004.
I should not do edit property and save, to create new version.
I don't know what is happening in search crawl. All ready full crawl running daily basis.
I want to check whether this issued document is crawling or not. Could anybody help me to get out of this. what is the main cause of this issue.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,
I'm seeing the same issue after upgrading the SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.
When I search any upgraded document in SharePoint 2013, the document's "Last Modified Date" was showing an incorrect value in Search Results page but other metadata of document like "Last Modified User" is showing the correct
value so the problem is not with document crawl, something wrong with Last Modified Date property in Search results.
I have seen below comment as answer but I didn't understand the solution to fix this issue for all upgraded documents.
The most likely cause is that there is metadata on the documents that is set to that date which is overriding the other dates in the search result. SharePoint isn't particulary imaginative so it's got to be finding that date from somewhere.
Do we have any solution for this issue? Is this issue will be addressed in SharePoint 2013 SP1?
Note: No issues with documents, which uploaded after upgrade.

  • Math function ' ' on Date columns is showing incorrect results. Pls xplain!

    Hi guys,
I'm having a query wherein two date columns are used. One holds just the date part and the other date+time.
Columns are: - processing_date (holds on date)
    authorised_ts (holds date+time)
    The query is : -
    SELECT a.processing_date,a.authorised_ts,
    SUBSTR(a.processing_date,1,9),SUBSTR(a.authorised_ts,1,9)
    FROM TEBINS01 a WHERE a.ref_instty_code = 'BULK'
    AND a.status_code = 'PPAY'
    AND SUBSTR(a.processing_date,1,9) < SUBSTR(a.authorised_ts,1,9)
I know that the substr function is creating the problem as it is converting the columns into characters.
*****The results show that 22-NOV-04 is greater than 12-JAN-05****
I've tried to use the below query to convert the above 2 dates into number(using to_number) via: -
    SELECT TO_NUMBER(SUBSTR('22-NOV-04', LENGTH(RTRIM('22-NOV-04','1234567890'))-LENGTH('22-NOV-04'))) FROM dual
    The result is 4
and when I use the above query for 12-JAN-05 the result is 5.
So even when I convert to number 5 is definitely greater than 4. But how and why is the substr function in the original query giving the wrong results?
    Thanks in advance guys
    B

As David points out, if the two columns are stored as dates, then you do not need to convert them at all to compare them. The only possible issue may be the fact that processing_date has no time component and authorised_ts has a time component.
    Given the following:
    SQL> DESC t;
    Name                                      Null?    Type
    ID                                                 NUMBER
    PROCESSING_DATE                                    DATE
    AUTHORISED_TS                                      DATE
    SQL> SELECT * FROM t;
            ID PROCESSING_DATE      AUTHORISED_TS
             1 10-Aug-2005 00:00:00 09-Aug-2005 03:51:47
             2 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 11-Aug-2005 07:44:42
             3 10-Aug-2005 00:00:00 08-Aug-2005 17:18:07
             4 08-Aug-2005 00:00:00 09-Aug-2005 11:45:59
             5 12-Aug-2005 00:00:00 08-Aug-2005 12:56:49
             6 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 10-Aug-2005 01:43:02
             7 08-Aug-2005 00:00:00 07-Aug-2005 09:23:19
             8 10-Aug-2005 00:00:00 10-Aug-2005 11:04:21
             9 05-Aug-2005 00:00:00 08-Aug-2005 11:29:47
10 11-Aug-2005 00:00:00 07-Aug-2005 14:51:53You obvioulsy would want id's 2, 4, 6, and 9, but what about 8? The two dates are on the same day. If you only want to consider cases where the day is less (i.e. exclude id 8) then you should query:
    SQL> SELECT * FROM t
      2  WHERE processing_date < TRUNC(authorised_ts);
            ID PROCESSING_DATE      AUTHORISED_TS
             2 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 11-Aug-2005 07:44:42
             4 08-Aug-2005 00:00:00 09-Aug-2005 11:45:59
             6 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 10-Aug-2005 01:43:02
9 05-Aug-2005 00:00:00 08-Aug-2005 11:29:47However, if you hink that id 8 should be included then it is simply:
    SQL> SELECT * FROM t
      2  WHERE processing_date < authorised_ts;
            ID PROCESSING_DATE      AUTHORISED_TS
             2 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 11-Aug-2005 07:44:42
             4 08-Aug-2005 00:00:00 09-Aug-2005 11:45:59
             6 06-Aug-2005 00:00:00 10-Aug-2005 01:43:02
             8 10-Aug-2005 00:00:00 10-Aug-2005 11:04:21
9 05-Aug-2005 00:00:00 08-Aug-2005 11:29:47Note that the comparision does not depend on the display format of the date:
    SQL> ALTER SESSION SET nls_date_format = 'mm/dd/yy';
    Session altered.
    SQL> SELECT * FROM t
      2  WHERE processing_date < TRUNC(authorised_ts);

  • DAX Calculation shows incorrect results when driven from Time Slicer

    Hi,
We have defined a DAX quarter on quarter calculation
    PREV Q % 13F:=divide([PREV Q ABS 13F],[Prior Quarter 13F])
    Prior Quarter 13F:=CALCULATE(sum([TotalValue]), DATEADD(Time[Date], -1, QUARTER))
    PREV Q ABS 13f:=CALCULATE(sum([TotalValue]))-[Prior Quarter 13F]
which works fine in Pivottables in Excel but when time selection is driven by a time slicer the calculation doesn't work anymore:
Is this a but or expected behaviour? Are there other ways to use a control that affects multiple other pivot tables like the time slicer?
    Thanks for your help!
    Martin

OK, there are some really interesting points here - i think the screenshot below best explains it:
Time Slicers use MDX subselects to propagate the selection to the pivot table:
    SELECT .... FROM (SELECT Filter([Fact13FSample].[ReportDate].Levels(1).AllMembers, ([Fact13FSample].[ReportDate].CurrentMember.MemberValue>=CDate("2013-04-01") AND [Fact13FSample].[ReportDate].CurrentMember.MemberValue<CDate("2013-07-01")))
    ON COLUMNS  FROM  ...
this works just fine for normal measures but seems to cause issues with time-intelligence function
it actually causes an issue with all calculations that use CALCULATE and thereby shift the context out of the subselect
it seems that you cannot get out of this context using DAX- at least i could not find a solution yet
    not even this works:
    All Quarter 13F:=CALCULATE([SumTV], ALL('Time'))
the result is always limited to the subselect :/
funny thing is that this only seems to happen with this specific subselects so i guess it is further related to MDX FILTER() or .MemberValue or CDATE()
the only option i could currently think of is to use regular slicers

  • CKF not showing correct results in BEx Analyzer

    Dear Friends,
I am getting different results when viewed from BEx Analyzer and Web Analyzer for the same query. BEx Analyzer shows incorrect results. The column that is showing different is a local formula (say Formula3) that is a result of dividing Formula1 by Formula2.
BEx Web calculates Formula3 correctly while BEx analyzer does not.
    I am in BI 7.0 SP 10.
    Any Clues?
    Thanks

3     1Your desired result depends on the wrong idea if implicid ordering of the results. there is no such!
Database does not sort returned rows any how (unless you use order by in your query). The order of returned rows may be consistent over a long period but if the table contents is reorganized or (as I assume) you import data to anotehr database the order may change.
To make the long storry short: you need another filter condition than <tt>rownum = 1</tt>.
    bye
TPDLook closely: it looks like a standard top-n query with the order by in the sub-query.

  • IE6 showing IE7 results

Hi, this is going to sound odd but ...
    Problem Description
I am finding that "after a period" of rendering IE6 and IE7 results simultaneously, that the IE6 Browser window starts to show the IE7 results. Once this starts it always seems to return the IE7 results. Logging out and back in again, seems to fix the issue but this cannot be guaranteed - sometimes it fixes the issue straightaway and sometimes it does not.
    Steps to RecreateURL is http://bbb.rockingdesign.co.nz/
I am running on a MacI am running the main BrowserLab interface
    Expected Results
I have conditional style sheets that will turn the background of the Welcome box red for IE6 and green for IE7.
    Actual Results
Here is a link to an image showing IE6 and IE7 running correctly side by side. IE6 is red and IE7 is green.
    http://sandbox.rockingdesign.co.nz/images/BrowserLab-1.jpg
Here is a link to an image showing IE6 returning the same result as IE7 - both boxes are green. Note right-hand Browser window should be IE6.

    Hi Archna
I have just recreated the problem ...
I logged in and used a Browser Set of IE6, IE7, IE8 and IE9. I entered http://bbb.bargainboatbits.co.nz and hit "refeshed the screens" with 0 delay. I had IE6 and IE7 as a 2up - both pages were shown from the correct browsers. I did not however check IE8 or IE9 windows. View source on the page confirmed the Data Center as <!-- Loaded From: ukprod -->.
I then immediately hit the "refresh the screens" button, still with IE6 and IE7 as a 2 up on the same URL. Now the IE6 window was showing the IE7 results.  View source still shows Data Center as <!-- Loaded From: ukprod -->. I hit refresh again and the same problem occurs again.
Once IE6 starts showing IE7 results I have not been able to make it start showing the correct IE6 results again. Logging out and back in again eventually fixes the issue but not necessarily immediately. The problem persists some times when you log in again.
It is always the IE6 window that shows IE7 results, it never shows results from another browser and none of the other browser windows show IE6 results.
The current URL that is showing incorrect results is https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/index.html#state=use;browsers=WXPIE6000%2CWXPIE7000%2CW XPIE8000%2CWXPIE9000;zoom=100;url=http%3A%2F%2Fbbb.rockingdesign.co.nz;view=1
I am using the main Browser Lab URL from New Zealand if that is of any relevance.
    Hope some of this helps.
Do you want my log in details??

  • In iTunes 11.0.2.26, an Albums search by track names returns albums as if they only have one track on them, but I still want to access the entire album. How can I have the search results show the entire album (with just the searched for name highlighted)?

    Hello, all.
In iTunes 11.0.2.26, an Albums search by track names returns albums as if they only have one track on them, but I still want to access the entire album. How can I have the search results show the entire album (with just the searched for name highlighted)? For instance, I'm wanting to play an album with a particular track on it or I'm searching for albums that include that track. iTunes incorrectly assumes that all I'm after is that one track and then incorrectly displays the album as if there is only one ttrack on it. This is a bonkers default setting. Can I change this?

Click the search magnifying glass and uncheck "Search entire library".
Type in the name of the track.
Click the album of interest to show tracks.
    Select the track.
Press the X in the search box to clear the search.
Double click the track you want to start playing first.

Column AAAA was created in Discoverer using Sum of field and show to the right.
What I need is for the **** to be the correct calculation for the totals in column AAAA. If I use do a total for Freight Percent using the Cell Sum I get 33.70., what I want is it to be 10.93, which is (127.83 + 102.44 + 30.37 - 40.30)/2015.15*100.
If I use an Average Total row for Freight Percent, I get 11.24 which is 33.70 / 3 (the 3 would be the # of dc nbr's)
I did start with using the detail level data to create this crosstab. Then I made a new version and used the SUM data. I seem to get the same results but am still having issues with the one **** value.
    Hopefully this explains it better.
Thanks for the ideas so far.

  • Adobe Reader for mobile search result is INCORRECT.

Adobe Reader for mobile search result is INCORRECT. It is inconsistent with the search results from other PDF reader apps.
I have a spreadsheet file converted into a PDF. Doing a search on the document using a Adobe Reader on a PC shows 14 search results. Opening the same document on the Google Drive app also shows 14 search results. But when opening the same file to the Adobe Reader for Android, it only shows two results. (See screenshots (left/first is from Adobe Reader for Android)).
My device is an Xperia Z2 with Android 4.4.4.

    Hello Mehwish,
It seems that Adobe Reader for mobile has issues only to this file. I have not thoroughly tested it with other PDF files though, but just this 1 out of the 5 files I have tried had issues. Attached herewith is the file I used the search with. Sent a copy to your email [email protected] too.
Note that the file was made from a spreadsheet in a PC and then saved as PDF from the same spreadsheet application.

  • Furmula displaying incorrect result at Hierarchy Node level

    Hi Experts,
I have created query which is using simple formula as Amount = Price * Quantity.
The query is using hierarchy on Material.
When I drill down to the lowesr level (leaf node) the formula is showing correct result.
But at all the node levels its displaying incorrect result.
    Ex.
    Mataterial 1  Rate = 4 Quantity = 10
    Maaterial 2   Rate = 3 Quantity = 10
In hierarchy both the se materials are under same node (Parent node) say Node 1
    The query output is
    Material                Amount
    Node 1                140   (7 * 20)
        Material 1          40   (4 * 10)
        Material 2          30   (3 * 10)
    It should be
    Material                Amount
    Node 1                 70
        Material 1         40
        Material 2         30
Please suggest how can this be achieved.

  • KKA2 incorrect results

    Hi,
Based on the SAP note - 38070. We have configured in our landscape for new line ids. We have found that, if there is new WBS created & simulated
in KKA2, the results are correct. Whereas for the already created wbs, we get incorrect results in KKA2 simulation. The new ids will point to old wbs & new wbs.Is this note only for new wbs?
Please help as this is show stopper for our business.
    Kind Regards,
    Kalyan

Here's an example of what I'm talking about.
This first query compares a simple geometry with a second, which is defined as almost the full geographic extents (-179 , 179, -89 , 89). Nearly every possible geometry will interact with this in some way. However the result I get is 'Disjoint'.
    SELECT  SDO_GEOM.relate(MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(
                2003,
                8307,
                null,
                MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1003, 1),
                MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(1,   80,   1,  -80,  160,  -80,  160,  80,  1,  80)),
                'DETERMINE',
                MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(
                2003,
                8307,
                null,
                MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1003, 1),
                MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(-179,   89,   -179,  -89,  179, -89,  179,  89,  -179,  89)), '0.005')
from DUAL;If i make the second geometry Smaller so that it starts at 0, ie (0,179, -89, 89) the I correctly get the result 'Inside'.
    SELECT  SDO_GEOM.relate(MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(
                2003,
                8307,
                null,
                MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1003, 1),
                MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(1,   80,   1,  -80,  160,  -80,  160,  80,  1,  80)),
                'DETERMINE',
                MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(
                2003,
                8307,
                null,
                MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1003, 1),
                MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(0,   89,  0,  -89,  179, -89,  179,  89,  0,  89)), '0.005')
from DUAL;It would be ideal if someone could confirm or deny this behaviour on a fully patched 10g or even 11g database.

  • Two separate calculated columns - results show up only in one of them

    Hey,
I've recently run into some peculiar behaviour in OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.0). I'm using three attribute colums (deliv. on time, ordered, backlog) to calculate a monthly service level. In addition I'm using a customer ID number to separate our customers into export and national customers. I've three calculated columns - Service Level Export, Service Level Total and Service Level National. I'm using a simple case-statement to distinguish between international and national customers (When custID between xxx and yyy then...). The total service level column doesn't have a case-if calculation, only a couple of simple mathematical operations and it works fine.
Now the problem is that the results show up only in one of those calculated columns containing case-if calculations - not both at the same time. Using a prompt in a pivot table I can verify that both columns get proper values but when I remove the prompt half of the values randomly disappear from these columns so that only one of the columns has a value for a specific month. The calculations in all three columns are identical - the only difference is that Serv. L. Exp. exludes a spesific CustID whereas the Serv. L. Nat. only includes that one CustID.
Example - both Serv. L. Exp and Serv. L. Nat should have values for every month, now only one of them gets values
Month          Serv. L. Exp.               Serv. L. Nat.               Total Serv. L.
    01                         15 %                                                       15 %
    02                         17 %                                                       17 %
    03                         13 %                                                       13 %
    04                                                          20 %                      20 %
    05                                                          22 %                      22 %
I've a few months of OBIEE experience under my belt so I'm not that experienced but usually I've been able to figure out what's wrong on my own. This time, however, this leaves me dumbfounded. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Silver

    Hi,
Serv.L.Nat is calculated 100 * INVOICED / (ORDERED + DELAYED). For National Service Level the case statement (including the calculations) is as follows (the inner CASE limits the Serv.L.Nat per cust to a range of 0 - 100 %):
    CASE WHEN "fact"."CustID" = 100001 THEN (
         CASE WHEN Serv.L.Nat > 100 THEN 100
         WHEN Serv.L.Nat < 0 THEN 0
WHEN Serv.L.Nat IS NULL THEN 0
         ELSE Serv.L.Nat
         END)
    END
For Export the sql is exactly like the one above, barring the reversed condition.
    Regards,
    Silver
PS. The above is a burst of pseudoSQL so don't mind the typos, the actual code is tested to work as intended... barring the fact that something's wrong with getting the values to appear.

  • Why this query does not show the result?

Why the query with the schema prefixed does not show the result and the query without schema display the correct results?

    Hi,
the column object_name refers to a object_name which is 'JOBS', the column owner refers to the owner 'HR', the value isn't stored together, so you have to select the two columns. It is the same behaviour as every other table/view. Have a look at the values in the view DBA_OBJECTS.
