Period Change for a single month

Hi All
We are currently on a year dependant fiscal year - 4,4,5 FY variant..
However, for the month of september - the period 9 closes on the 26th but they want to extend ONLY that period till the 30th of September..
Since we are still in July - would that change be ok to perform or not? Would it cause any issues in our system..?

It will not have any negative impact technically to change the future period in a fiscal year dependent variant.

No calendar change for a single event in a recurrring string of events

Why won't iCal allow me to change the calendar for a single event in a string of recurring events? Why am I not allowed this, but can change other details and even get prompted whether I want these changes to take effect over the single event or all the recurring events????
Could this be implemented in a future version of iCal???

Macro calculation to change for one particular month of year.

Hi All,
I have a query for change in macro. WE have a macro to calculate Target inventory which has same calculation for all through future months for 18 months. Now my user wants to change this all future months calculation would be same except for September every year. Now What function do I use in condition for calculation to check if month is September than do a different calculation.

As u need to exclude the spetemner month you need to add the code in of clause.
If
new condition
Month(row) = 9
result row
else
result row.
Inthe result row u can do ur calcualtions...
You can do this in a new step for the exception you want to maintain.Hope this will help you.

Retaining history on validity period changes for qualifications

We'd like to be able to retain the history on when validity periods for qualifications are changed in the TEM module. I can't get the Qualification Catalog maintenance screens to allow us to enter the validity dates for the HRP1025 recors. I was able to configure SAP to allow me to make the changes via PP01 but if we then make a subsequent update in OOQA the effective date goes back to the start date of the Qualification Object and the history is lost. Is there any way to turn off the maintenance of the HRP1025 data from OOQA and force it to be done through PP01?

Events vanished for a single month of every year

All events in the month of October of every year ever since I started using iCal have vanished from iCal in my computer. I still have them on my iPod and am not syncing Calendars since I noticed this. How can I get every month of every year to show every event I have recorded?

Look & Feel Change For A Single Component of A Gui

Hi All,
I am using the wonderful windows XP look and feel that stefan krause has put together. However, I want to change just the background of the menubars. When I do menuBar.setBackground(color) this doesn't override what is the default colour set by the look and feel.
I just want to change this little bit of the look and feel, what is the best way of doing this?

I switched back and forth by alternately calling
UIManager.setLookAndFeel("com.stefankrause.xplookandfeel.XPLookAndFeel");
...create some components...
UIManager.setLookAndFeel(UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName());
...create some more components...
UIManager.setLookAndFeel("com.stefankrause.xplookandfeel.XPLookAndFeel");
...and create even more...
It seemed to work, but I'm not sure that's the best way.

What is the best way to create a SSRS 2005 Line Chart Report for a 12 month period?

I'm looking for advice on how to create a SQL Server 2005 query and line chart report for SSRS 2005.
I need to display the peak number of patients assigned to a medical practice each month for a 12 month period based on the end-user selecting a
single month and year.
I've previously created a report that displays all patients assigned to the practice for any single month but I’m looking for advice on how to
how to produce a resultset that shows the peak number of patients each month for a 12 month period. I thought about creating a query that returns the peak count for each month (based on my previously created report which displays all patients assigned to the
practice for any single month) and then use a UNION statement to join all 12 months but I'm sure that isn't the most efficient way to do this. The other challenge with this approach (twelve resultsets combined via a UNION) is that the end-user needs to be
able to select any month and year for the parameter and the report needs to display the 12 month period based on the month selected (the month selected would be the last month of the 12 month period).
For the report I’ve previously created that displays all patients assigned to the practice for any single month, the WHERE statement filters the
resultset on two fields:
Start Date - The date the patient was assigned to the practice. This field is never null or blank.
End Date - The date the patient left the practice. This field can be null or blank as active patients assigned to the practice do not have an End Date. When the patient
leaves the practice, the date the patient left is populated in this field.
Using these two fields I can return all patients assigned to the practice during Nov 2012 by looking for patients that meet the following criteria:
start date prior to 11/30/2012 (using the last day of the month selected ensures patients added mid-month would be included)
AND
end date is null or blank (indicates the patient is active) OR the end date is between 11/1/2012 -11/30/2012 (returns patients that leave during the month
selected)
Regarding the query I need to create for the report that displays the peak count each month for 12 months, I'm looking for advice on
how to count patients for each month the patient is assigned to the practice if the patient has been assigned for several months (which applies to most patients). Examples are:
John Doe has a start date of 6/01/2012 and an End Date of 10/07/2012
Sally Doe has a start date of 8/4/2012 and no End Date (the patient is still active)
Jimmy Doe has a  start of 7/3/2012 and an End Date of 9/2/2012
Given these examples how would I include John Doe in the peak monthly count each month for May - October, Sally Doe in the peak monthly count for
August - December and Jimmy Doe in the peak monthly count for July – Sept if the end-user running the report selected December 2012 as the parameter?
Given the example above and the fact I'm creating a line chart I think the best way to create this report would be a resultset that looks like
this:

From the resultset above I could create another resultset that would count\group on month and year to return the peak count for each month:

The resultset that displays the peak count for each month would be used to create the line chart (month would be the X axis and the count would
be the y axis).
Does this sound like the best approach?
If so, any advice on how to create the resultset that lists each patient and each month they were assigned to the practice would be greatly appreciated.
I do not have permissions to create SPs or Functions within the database but I can create temp tables.
I know how to create the peak monthly count query (derived from the query that lists each patient and month assigned) as well as the line chart.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I reviewed them shortly after they were submitted but I'm also working on other projects at the same time (hence the delayed reply).
Building a time table and doing a cross join to my original resultset gave me the desired resultset of the months assigned between dates. What I can't figure out now is how to filter months I don't want.
Doing a cross join between my original resultset that had two dates:
08/27/2010
10/24/2011
and a calendar table that has 24 rows (each month for a two year period)
my new resultset looks like this:
I need to filter the rows in yellow as the months assigned for stage 3 that started on 8/27/2010 should stop when the patient was assigned to stage 4 on 10/24/2011.
You'll notice that Jan - Sept 2011 isn't listed for Stage 4 assigned on 10/24/2011 as I included a filter in the WHERE clause that states
the Months Assigned value must be greater than or equal to the date assigned value.
Any advice would be appreciated.

To retrieve SCC4 changes for a month

We need to retrieve SCC4 changes for every month.
For this, we will have to run program RSVTPROT for table T000. Since we need this data on 1st calendar day of every month, we are scheduling a monthly job for the same.
We are facing problem while giving 'variant' for this job. Our requirement is that the report should run against a dynamic variant where the SCC4 changes for the past month is retrieved. While creating this variant we can give a particular time period only.
Please advise.
Is there any way we can create such a variant or we will have to schedule a job manually on every last day of the month with a new variant for that time period.

You can use selection variables which dynamically calculate the FROM and TO dates based on the current data or an option such as "First day of the previous month" etc.
I don't see any problem, except that this is not specifically security related. Perhaps a "Did not read the documentation forum" is needed for it...

Different maps for every month in FDQM for a single location/Entity

Is it possible to have different account maps for each and every month in FDQM for a single entity/location.
The requirement is,client needs to change accounts map each and every month,for eg; if in Jan ,account 1 is mapped to X, in feb same account 1 is mapped to y.
Could any one tell me if this is possible in FDQM,if yes..how can we maintain different account maps for each period for one specific entity.

This is possible with the appropriate business process. FDM will apply the current map that exists to the current dataset. It will not retroactively change prior periods unless you specifically reprocess the maps (wither by reimporting data or by selecting Process Logic/Maps) for historical data.
So as a map is updated monthly, the historical data is maintained and the current data uses the "new" map. If for some reason the prior period does need to be reprocessed with the "old" map, you can use the restore function to bring the map back to what it was during that period.

What is the format of the period date you want to get, is this date in the DB and you want to filter it based on the month and the given Date?
Did the month and given date are two parameters in the report? if possible, could you please provide some sample data in the DB and also the snapshot of the report structure
I assume you want to get the period date(mm/dd/yyy) between the select month(e.g:Feb) and the given date (10/1/2014) and you should get the date between(02/01/2014-10/1/2014).
If so,and you also have two parameter "Month","EndDate"(EndDate is the given date), please reference to details information below:
You can create an new parameter "BeginDate" (Date/Time) which is the begin date of the period, you can use the expression to get the value based on the value of the month and the year value from the given date,finally hide this parameter:

Change the SWF loading text for a single presentation

Hi,
I have Adobe Presenter 7.0.5, in which with recently updating to 7.0.7 version.
When I tried the fix of this "Change the SWF loading text for a single presentation" workaround fix, I passed to have the error:ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property ADOBE_PRESENTER not found on Pool_P75.Resource.UIText
But before this error comes, I see that the loading text is changes from the original 2Adobe Presenter" to the one defined by me on the UIText, as the fix said.
And what's happen is that the scrren with the loading text is not being changed by the learning first slide....
Is there any workaround to correct that error?
