Petition:Keep a single thread for all the hate messages(fw upgra

I really mean it. There are so many threads already existing which have been created only to blame creative or the mods for the delay of the firmware upgrade for Touch/Xtra. All of them only act as a means to vent the member's anger and hate. Almost every other day, there is a new thread made to yell out at creative. Why not put up a single thread and merge all the hate messages under one thread?
Who knows, maybe it will become a hot topic!

I want to have a replication of Opera mail feature. This feature enables you to aggregate all mail items from across all the e-mail accounts into a single virtual aggregated view.
That is, say, we have 3 different mail accounts. In Mozilla Thunderbird on a daily basis I check if there is something new in the incoming folder for those accs. To do that I click on the corresponding folder for every account. Now, what i want is to click on a single folder where I would have an aggregated virtual view of the incoming folder for all of those 3 accounts. I guess, same thing can be done with different kinds of mails, such as:
* Unread messages (after having viewed the mail item, it automatically goes straight into "Sent messages" aggregate view, listed below)
* Read messages
* Sent messages
* Spam messages
* Drafts, etc
Also there is this cool feature (virtual thing applies here as well) that helps to have a view of all the attachments across all accounts categorized into different descriptions, such as:
* docs (xls, doc, ppt, etc)
* images (jpg, png, etc)
* archives (zip, rar, etc)
More then that, it would still be better to have labling aggregation view feature across all acounts. That is, if we have marked important several messages in, say, 2 accounts, those should be seen in a single aggregated virtual view under name, say, "Important messages". Same can be said with flags, todos, etc.

Pop mail accounts can be set up to use a Global Inbox. Imap mail accounts cannot.
However, there are various 'views' in Thunderbird. I would suggest you try 'Unified'. This creates a visual Inbox containing all Inbox messages with sub folders showing individual Inboxes, so you can still see them separately if required.

View > Folders > Unified
Via Menu icon
Menu Icon > Folders > Unified.
This view would show all the 'Important' tagged emails, so you could them sort by Tag.

You are most of the way there. Each user having access to hard drive is the key. If users are limited in file privileges this is harder.
Any files you add to your library and any files she adds to her library are available to the other. Just not automatically. Each user must add the files to their own library using the add file or add folder option from menu bar.
What I have done is set library location to a location outside of My Documents\My Music. On my network storage I have a folder names s:\itunes. Both accounts iTunes are set to use this location for the library.

Create 2 page type validations as a PL/SQL with code
1st validation
:P1_ITEM1 IS NOT NULL and :P1_ITEM2 IS NOT NULL ...... and :P1_ITEM9 IS NOT NULL include all 9 items
Set the When Button Pressed to the CREATE button
2nd validation
:P1_ITEM10 IS NOT NULL
Set the When Button Pressed to the DELETE buttonI think that's going to be the easiest way to do it.

There is a change in the requirement.
Scenario:
I have created a sales order with some 4 condition types, in that 2 condition types are of class A & B and the other two is of class C. Here I need to update the condition price of class A & B only and the remaining condition types should not get update even though there is an updated price is available.
For the above scenario, I need to write a standalone program. Do we have any function modules to update the price of the single condition in the sales order? Please tell me how we can update the sales order at item condition level.

How to use single eventhandler for all menuitems...

I have a tray with a popup.
Currently I have an eventhandler for every single menuitem.
Is it also possible to provide only a single eventhandler for all of the menuitems and determine the clicked entry with the event??
Tried to use parameter mapping but onAction doesn't provide any parameters... Or am i wrong?!
Additionally, is there a list populated where I can find provided parameters for mapping?!

This is possible via parameter mapping.
1. Set same action for every menu item;
2. Add parameter, say "id" of type string to action;
3. In wdDoModifyView write the following:
if (firstTime)
IWDMenuActionItem itm;
itm = (IWDMenuActionItem)view.getElementById("<id-of-menu-item>");
itm.mappingOfOnAction.addParameter( "id", itm.getId() );
/* repeat for all items */
4. In view handler you now can dispatch by "id" parameter received;

Not possible. As there can be any number of tables with any names, this requires dynamic SQL.
SQL given to the Oracle SQL Engine cannot be dynamic ito scope and references - it must be static. For example, one cannot do this:
SELECT count(*) FROM :table
For the SQL Engine to parse the SQL, determine if it is valid, determine the scope and security, determine an execution plan, it needs to know the actual object names. Objects like tables and columns and functions cannot be variable.
You will therefore need to write a user function (in PL/SQL) that dynamically creates a [SELECT COUNT] SQL for a table, execute that SQL and return the row count - and then use SQL to iterate through USER_TABLES for example and sum the results of this function.
Note that object tables are not listed in USER_TABLES - thus a more comprehensive list of all table objects in your schema can be found in USER_OBJECTS.

I would suggest you to store them in a table instead and you can write a functin to retrive the error messages required.
But if your requirement is for 'Package' then assuming that you store all the error messages in a table 'error_table' (say) following code may help you .

My brother works with massive Excel spreadsheets and needs to speed them up. Gigabytes in size and often with a million rows and many sheets within the workbook. He's already refined the sheets to take advantage of Excel's multi-thread recalculation and
seen significant improvements, but he's hit a stumbling block. He uses extensive VBA code to aid clarity, but the VB engine is single-threaded, and these relatively simple functions can be called millions of times. Some functions are trivial (e.g. conversion
functions) and just for clarity and easily unwound (at the expense of clarity), some could be unwound but that would make the spreadsheets much more complex, and others could not be unwound.
He's aware of http://www.analystcave.com/excel-vba-multithreading-tool/ and similar tools but they don't help as the granularity is insufficiently fine.
So what can he do? A search shows requests for multi-threaded VBA going back over a decade.

Gigabytes and data volume is about 1 million rows. If so, I will suggest you storing the data to SQL Server and then use the analysis tools (e.g. Power Pivot).

Do we have any third party FLEX component libraries to support accessibility feature for all the components(like: ViewStack, ToggleButtonBar, charts and etc..) ?

I am working on FLEX 4.6 SDK it provides 35 components with built in accessibility support. My Application contains some components which have no built in accessibility support but I need to provide accessibility support for those components too. I have gone through the Flex docs to customize the non accessible components to support accessibility feature, But the docs where not clear. To customize a single component I have to overwrite lot of code in SDK level.
and it takes lot of effort.
So, I would like to use FLEX component libraries which provides accessibility support for all the component.
Could you please guide me how can I provide accessibility support for other components with out putting more effort on it.

Is there any way in which i can use any abap programs/ function module were in i can assign this single role too all the list of users in the bi system!!

Hi Pooja,
I guess you are lookign for way to upload the list of 700 users into transaction Su10 instead of copying and pasting them manually (which will need many manual copy pastes since the number of users which can be pasted into SAP in one shot will be limted to 10-20).
There is a way to upload all 700 into SU10 transaction in a few clicks. Please follow the below steps:
1.Get the list of all 700 users in say excel or notepad. Copy all 700 users ids (copy entire column in excel using Cntrl+C)
2. Login to system and go to SU10 tcode.
3. Click on 'Authorization data" tab in SU10
4. In next page you will see a tab called "User" --> select the arrow exactly to the right side for multiple selection.
5. In new window; there is an icon for "Upload from clipboard"(second last icon in bottom of window). Click on it and you will have the list of 700 users uploaded into SAP. In next window click on "select all" and "transfer"
Now go into change mode in SU10 and paste the role to be added under tab "roles".
Get back if you face any issues.
